Baizhu’s size is nothing to sneeze at no matter how much he scoffs (blushing a little) and calmly mentions he’s statistically rather average. The thing is this man is a grower. This is a Jujutsu Kaisen x Mob Psycho 100 one-shot, density of a white nebula by heihua.

The moment I stumbled upon this fic, all I can think of is just “oh my god Y E S” and I can just imagine how the scene plays out. Hhhhhh sometimes my imagination can be a bit too demanding, but I hope you, who read this, enjoy it!

Alright, below are my thoughts. As usual:

This fan comic was actually planned months ago, right after I read it. But uh… you know. Real life stuff. It happens. So it kept being postponed, and the rough sketch on my sketchbook kept pleading for me to just start. And also it’s been a while since I do anything JJK or even MP100 related (MP100 has season THREE???), so I need more time familiarising myself with these two (actually I just watched MP100 S1-2 and took screenshots along the way lol).

One thing I learned from making this comic would be… to just take it easy. I started to not really care whether the line is connected to each other (which I usually do because it’s easier to bucket paint it), and hey, I really need to just let loose! As long as the overall impression of the image can be seen, that’s all that matters!

Drawing this comic helps me a lot with the previous GoYuu fancomic I made, "i keep the warmest truth" (you don't have to read if it's not to your taste). Yes, I make this at the same time as that comic. It was torture and fun at the same time haha.

Oh, another thing would be the crowd on page 4. At first, it was too much of a hassle so I was planning to just trace a crowd image I found. But in the end, I was like—it doesn’t need to be that detailed. Eventually I will need to learn to draw crowds, perspective, and stuff. So… yeah, I made it from scratch. It was unexpectedly quite fun, although I’m not that satisfied with the colouring. Oh well.

Overall, I finished this comic on a positive note. It was really fun, especially drawing Mob’s… uh… 100% state? On page 3? I’m not sure what that state is called, but I love playing around with the colour!

firstly I'd like to apologize for taking so long with the fic 😭😭 once I'm finished with school and I've graduated in a few weeks I'll have more than enough time to finish it and post-- thank you for taking interest!! I really enjoy and admire your writing, it means alot! anyway here's the teaser:

As soon as she realised what was happening, Jane trusted herself to know what to do. In an instant, it was a two-on-one, she and Nymphia were closing in on the goalie and the lone Plasma still on the ice, passing the puck between them like it was the easiest thing in the world.

The point of no return came in a split second when Jane passed the puck to Nymphia without thinking. It came at exactly the right moment, Plasma assumed Jane would take the shot herself and hit the ground to block it. It was unfortunate, had the ginger girl been a defensemen, perhaps it would have been more difficult for the two superstars to beat her. Nymphia accepted the pass with precision. Usually, it would feel strange not taking the shot herself in a situation like that but, as the puck hit the back of the net, Jane realised that she trusted the other girl's hands more than her own at that moment.

Screaming with joy, she met Nymphia behind the net and shoved her (gently) into the boards. The shorter girl pulled Jane in for a hug, disregarding any celebration in favour of being wrapped in her arms.

It was altogether very strange, how playing alongside Nymphia felt as natural as breathing.

Astarion: Nearly two hundred years and I never came back. Not since the night I woke up down there. Astarion: I had to punch a hole in the coffin and claw my way through six feet of dirt. Astarion: Then when I finally broke the surface, retching up dirt and congealed blood, Cazador was waiting. Astarion: From that day on I was his. Until today. Kyvir: You were never his. Whatever he had, he took by force. Astarion: Maybe, but he did take it. There's almost nothing left of the person I was. Just a name on a rock. Astarion: For nearly two centuries I stalked the streets like a ghost while the person I was lay here, dead and buried. Astarion: Now I need to figure out who I am. What I want. Kyvir: You're the person I love. The person I want. Astarion: I feel the same. Astarion: You were by my side through all of this. Through bloodlust and pain and misery. You were patient. You cared. You trusted me when that was an objectively stupid thing to do. Astarion: I feel safe with you. Seen. And whatever the future holds for me, I don't want to lose that. Kyvir: You won't. Whatever comes next, I've got you. Astarion: Thank you. Astarion: Well, I should probably fix this. ... Kyvir: Pick up a flower and lay it on the grave. Astarion: Cute. Astarion: I've been dead in the ground for long enough. It's time to try living again.

The imagery of Astarion having to claw his way out of his own grave... Once again, Cazador seems to have been being cruel for the sake of cruelty. Unless there's something in DnD lore that I'm not familiar with there was no reason for him to leave Astarion down there and not even clear some of the dirt away! Presumably the graveyard had emptied out by the time Astarion dug himself out, Cazador could've at least tried to help, but he chose not to.

The way Astarion glances back over at you as he's carving the new dates onto his tombstone is fantastic, I love it. The way he's having to come to terms with the fact that the person he was back then is gone and he needs to move forward is sad but also very satisfying! And it's great how having avoided his grave for almost two hundred years Astarion wants you at his side when he finally does go back. The way you can support Astarion and be there for him throughout his quest is so good. I also love how in the middle of all this serious emotional stuff there's that brief moment where Astarion just straight up says that trusting him was incredibly stupid. He's not wrong, either; you meet him when he tries to kill you, you learn he's a vampire when he tries to drink your blood in your sleep, he's constantly pushing for you to make Evil Choices, there's really very little reason to trust him! But if you do trust him and put faith in him ultimately being a good person he proves himself completely worthy of that trust. Like so many things in DnD and related media, it was very stupid but worked out perfectly. We love to see it! And him feeling safe with you when his desire for safety was a huge driving force in him wanting to go through with the ritual to begin with... hhhhhh it's so good I love it. He might not entirely know who he is right now, but he knows he is the person you love and whatever else he may end up becoming he has that for the foreseeable future!

Also, Astarion finding you putting a flower on his grave cute is fantastic. It is cute, I love that you can do that! Just a silly little gesture, but it matters.

It hurts different this time but it still hurts, while i'm glad we didn't stretch this out over months fuck I was in love

oh btw i have no brain power rn so this is probably gonna be entirely incoherent and just whatever the fuck comes to my mind

so uh basically my girlfriend broke up with me and at lunch today, and like it wasn't a bad breakup and i'm really glad we talked because like i wanted to talk about how things have felt kinda off lately, and uh it turns it its because they now only have platonic feelings for me

i think like part of me knew this was coming, they broke up with their last boyfriend this time last year (because they realized they really just wanted to be friends w/ him) and this time last year is when i hit the point of no return w/ my ex and a bunch of things that happened then have happened now (soccer team disbanding partner/ex not going on the school trip)

and so like i've had the thought 'could i go back to just being friends with them' or 'should i just break up with them before they have the chance to hurt me like my ex did' spiral around in my head a bit but i never actually did because like they're amazing

but then there's the part of me the would dream of us lasting for years and was just so fucking happy w/ them and was about to tell them i loved them, i've been thinking it for months but i thought i was ready to say it to them,,, and then well,,,,

theres so many nevers now, like i never said i love you, they never came to one of my club soccer games, i never went to one of their vaulting comps, we nEVER WENT ON A DATE

fuck i wish i had gone to prom w/ them this year, skipped the soccer game that didn't end up actually happened and fucking dealt w/ the fact that my ex was there but i was too fucking scared to do either of those things

aaaaa i was trying so so so fucking hard not to let myself get hurt by a partner again, i waited a while to ask them out like i was certain i really like them and they liked me back, and then i took things very slow, we took a while to kiss, we never said i love you, i tried really really hard to test the waters and really make sure i could trust them before i fully committed my heart to them

and while i can trust them and they are an amazing person who still cares a lot about me, they still managed to hurt me because they don't love me the same way i love them, and i kinda thought they did, and maybe they did for a bit, but they don't anymore

ahahaha fuck this afternoon they added the song (redacted) by Leanna Firestone to their playlist,,,, hhhhhh,,,, just look at the lyrics,,,, it made me start crying again,,,,

ok well uh i think im gonna fall asleep sitting on my floor in the dark w/ my laptop on my lap so i guess i should probably stop here and go cry myself to sleep

if i have any time tomorrow this'll probably be expanded because uh my soccer team is also ending :D so i'm losing people i've played w/ for 5+ years and also i'm gonna have to come out to a new soccer team which is gonna just so great

🧸 a headcanon about their childhood

i’m gonna take things back to mariejois because i’ve been obsessed thinking about their family before things got shitty. i think he struggled to hit those traditional “my child is learning successfully” milestones. he took a long time learning how to walk, speak, write, probably failed any tests. his parents never cared tho, and always encouraged him and accommodated for him regardless of what the noble tutors/instructors demanded. however, he was very bright. he beat doflamingo at chess all the time and started to throw the game when his tantrums got too scary.

💤 a headcanon about their sleep

before going undercover, he hardly slept more than a few hours at a time. often stayed up doing research on undercover agent procedures, piracy, so forth. after going undercover, he slept in late, and took frequent naps. good way to avoid dealing with the donquixote family. (that devil fruit helps a lot, too)

💝 a headcanon about their love language

hhhhhh i’m so bad at these. maybe words of affirmation? he seems utterly elated when law finally calls him “cora/cora-san”. i think this could actually work against him too, and could be a reason he stayed undercover for four years without either turning in doflamingo, killing him, or going insane (although he does kinda go insane and kidnap a child but before that.) i think doflamingo was deceptively kind to him. he wanted him to eat the op-op fruit after all, he really needed rosinante to trust and love him for that level of sacrifice. so i’m sure over the four years of hell, doflamingo showered him in praise and care, which spurred comforting and conflicting thoughts of redemption and kept rosinante hanging on by a thread. (heh, get it?)

🫂 a friendship headcanon

exceptionally friendly, but won’t go out of his way to go meet new people or start a conversation. he’s like a conversation chameleon. can adapt to someone’s seriousness/goofiness at the drop of a hat. probably had a lot of friends in the navy, but few if any close friends. i don’t think he’d allow himself to get that close to others because a) maybe he assumes he’s going off undercover soon and might never see them again, or b) he struggles to feel as though he deserves friends. he’s the brother of doflamingo, after all. that man is a monster, and an embarrassment. and he’s his closest blood relative. if anyone learned of that connection, they’d just associate the two, and that’d make him feel even less human than he already does.

Be thankful we still are gifted some art and info once in a while. Poor Stella baby got two drawings on 2014 and has remained burried underground ever since 😔

But yeah,, Even though I feed myself with Sal content everyday with imaginary stuff it's just not enough. Nothing beats official content!

A few days ago I took a look at the Reboot's character page and I stared blankly at his profile because I had the realization reading it that he barely had any significant screentime and will never get to have it again.

The second line says "He's earnest and gentle, therefore dependable" and yeah that's cool to know but have you heard of showing not telling? We barely see any hints of that in those scenes where's a happy lil guy

I honestly prefer that Sal over the one we see later so it burns me extra hard to know that fact lol

I'll keep saying that's what fanfiction is for but hhhhhh I need it in pretty visual form bwaaah

Anyways, can we know more about Brook? Like y’know, ‘Brook Child’. If that’s treading too close to spoiler territory, then alternatively, can we know about Sam the wizard? He was mentioned earlier and I like wizards and warlocks because magic is such a popular concept based off of something which nobody really knows. Plus it’s something I’m sure everyone ever has fantasized about, even if many believe it doesn’t exist… not nerd ver: magic is cool can we hear about Sam?)

Brook’s backstory is one that is completely lost to her. Her “mother” never really told her much other than “I found you and took you in, so now you owe me.” At the moment I don’t really think it’s important to the story, and I don’t think it will ever come up so I’ll spill the tea for you ;3

Brook actually was born into a very loving family. She had parents who adored her and each other, and they lived in a fairly peaceful town. This… didn’t really last. Brook’s family went out one day, planning to go a few towns over to see relatives, and instead of settling down for the night, decided to travel through till the morning. Under the shade of night, they were jumped by bandits. During the scuffle, their horse got spooked, and whisked away the cart, with Brook still inside. The horse ran off-trail into the woods, the cart catching on fallen trees and rocks. The horse’s restraints attaching it to the cart were damaged so much by all the debris that when the cart got caught in the bank of a rocky stream, the horse broke free, and the cart remained. Brook’s “Mother” found her and took her in with the thought that she could help with chores when she was older.

Brook stayed 16 long years with her “Mother” (making her ~17 now), and got the idea to escape about a year and a half prior to the events of the story :)

Under her “mother”’s “care”, it wasn’t uncommon for Brook to have food taken away from her if she acted up or made mistakes, it also wasn’t uncommon for her to be locked in the basement with only thin slits of windows to let in light. The basement is also where she slept, not having a room of her own.

Because of these conditions, she is pretty sickly. She is VERY thin and malnourished, and is also pretty short as a result (she’s almost EXACTLY 5 feet tall, maybe a little shorter if you flatten her hair). Her hair is matted and tangled, and her clothes are old, thin, and covered in various stains and grime. She has lots of scars all over her body but by far the most noticeable is the one straight down over half of her face.

She has anxiety and is baby and I love her :)

She’s tired, and needs a break, but she’s not really gonna get one for a while, sorry hon!

Now, you get Sam too because he is VERY cool and silly and I love him.

Sam is a half elf!!! Idk that I mentioned this before!!! He’s kinda just a silly goofy dude who gets stage fright unless it’s his silly werewolf boyfriend. They LOVE each other your honor!!!

Unfortunately god gives his hardest tests to his silliest clowns.

Yeah he goes through the wringer throughout the story. I can’t say much of that because yay plotpoint!!! But yeah djxndhdh

So basically Sam was born in a nice town, pretty average sized, with parents that wanted the best for him. When they saw that he had innate magical abilities (ie: a higher magic storage ability and they saw him just messing around with it and having fun as a kid), they thought that setting him up for apprenticeships would set him up for a good life. What they DIDNT consider is that Sam didn’t really want that. Yeah, when he first started he thought magic was REALLY cool!!! And fun!!! But… all the studying and reading and practicing form and BLAH BLAH BLAH- it made it almost unbearable. Honestly now that I’m thinking about it I probably infused some of my adhd into him without realizing- whoops! Sitting for hours and hours on end just studying instead of actually doing the cool stuff? No thanks that sounds like actual torture! Lol

But yeah, he would end up going through like 5 apprenticeships before he and Joe end up running off into the woods together to find Joe’s tether or some other alternative that hasn’t been discovered yet. They spent a while just kinda camping in the woods with not really much luck before Brook comes along. They’ve been out on their own for about 3 or 4 years at that point, but they haven’t really been counting.

Sorry Sam probably isn’t as interesting as the others, not too bad of a tragic backstory competitively lol. Gotta have SOME less messed up characters! Trust me tho, he gets some good character time in the story I promise!
