what does bunny!Charles think of Lewis replacing Carlos? how'd he find out? what does he think of Lewis in general? does he talk to Lewis at all? I need the details of this.

Okay I'm assuming this is in the hybrid!au? I've realised we've actually never discussed Lewis in the hybrid!au before which is insane, I can't believe we haven't done that so I'm gonna use that to discuss Lewis as well a little!!

So somehow I feel like Lewis would be a panther hybrid? He's close to a cat hybrid, but he's actually more calm and more elusive than cat hybrids? But he's fiercely loyal and protective to a few.

And bunny!Charles is at first not at all happy with losing Carlos as his teammate. Because wolf!Carlos makes him feel so safe!! He goes home very upset and cuddles up in your arms and complains all night about it because he can't workout how he's gonna manage at Ferrari when you aren't there AND Carlos isnt there. Normally whenever you aren't there, he'd go hide in Carlos's chest but now Carlos won't be in the same garage as him.

Maybe word reaches Lewis somehow that poor Charles is in a state of panic and distress over not having his wolf hybrid there. And so maybe Lewis actually goes to you?

He doesn't know too much about bunny hybrids, but he knows they are generally shy and very selective in their friends and do not like change whatsoever. He knows that getting Charles used to another teammate, especially another hybrid teammate, will be a delicate process. But he also knows pretty much all bunnies have one person they are fiercely dependant on and love very much. And he knows that person for Charles is you.

So he goes to you, and he asks how he can help Charles. You're shocked when he approaches you, because you haven't ever heard of a panther hybrid actually going to someone else and asking for help like this. But Lewis... he seems to know the effect he can have on people and understands he needs to be very careful about Charles.

You end up going to lunch with the two of them. At first Charles is NOT happy. He stays at your side and glares at Lewis, his ears tucked down behind his head because no! No he won't have change!

Needless to say, you end up with them both in your bed before Lewis even officially becomes his teammate.

Oh my god yes. Here are some cat!oscar headcannons because we really need to bring him back!!!

- he acts very aloof in public but then clings to you the moment you’re alone

- he LOVES playing with the laser pointer, it’s absolutely his favourite toy

- he has very sharp nails and he will use them as weapons

- he’s very particular about you touching his tail? He likes it, but only when he initiates it. So you have to wait until he nudges your hand with his tail or puts his tail on your lap and then you can pet it

- whenever you cuddle he kinda just… melts? Like his body loses all tension and he just sinks into you and you have to take all his weight

- he absolutely loves rubbing himself against you and nuzzling you.

- he’s also very possessive, especially around other cat hybrids? He’ll hiss and swipe at them, especially Lando. He does not want Lando coming anywhere near you.

- he actually purrs quite a bit? He almost does it to communicate with you? Obviously when he’s all happy and comfy he’ll purr, but also if he wants your attention he’ll purr, especially if you’re talking to someone else he wants you all to himself.

oh a 3-6 loss? oh ok it’s not like i stayed up way later than i should have because i have stuff to do tomorrow but did anyway specifically so i could see this game. i totally wasn’t excited because we had a strong chance to win this one. “i’m totally fine” i say as i am fighting back tears.

firstly I'd like to apologize for taking so long with the fic 😭😭 once I'm finished with school and I've graduated in a few weeks I'll have more than enough time to finish it and post-- thank you for taking interest!! I really enjoy and admire your writing, it means alot! anyway here's the teaser:

As soon as she realised what was happening, Jane trusted herself to know what to do. In an instant, it was a two-on-one, she and Nymphia were closing in on the goalie and the lone Plasma still on the ice, passing the puck between them like it was the easiest thing in the world. 

The point of no return came in a split second when Jane passed the puck to Nymphia without thinking. It came at exactly the right moment, Plasma assumed Jane would take the shot herself and hit the ground to block it. It was unfortunate, had the ginger girl been a defensemen, perhaps it would have been more difficult for the two superstars to beat her. Nymphia accepted the pass with precision. Usually, it would feel strange not taking the shot herself in a situation like that but, as the puck hit the back of the net, Jane realised that she trusted the other girl's hands more than her own at that moment. 

Screaming with joy, she met Nymphia behind the net and shoved her (gently) into the boards. The shorter girl pulled Jane in for a hug, disregarding any celebration in favour of being wrapped in her arms. 

It was altogether very strange, how playing alongside Nymphia felt as natural as breathing.

(the idea for this fic goes like this: jane, a generational talent, joins a new college hockey team, nymphia skates circles around her, they form an instant connection, and jane has no idea what to do about it besides follow nymphia around like a lost puppy and refuse to admit that she's in love)

this literally took my breath away . i’m not even exaggerating your writing flows so naturally and effortlessly that i was stunned into not breathing for a second. the way the part at the beginning perfectly mimics the fast paced energy of a real hockey game??? while still including tons of minuscule details and jane’s inner thought process??? im in LOVE

oh and the summary at the end in parentheses has me on my knees headbanging the ground. “follow nymphia around like a lost puppy and refuse to admit she’s in love” AHHHHHH HHHH HHHHHHHHHHH . HHHHHH LOST PUPPY JANE 😭😭😭😭 SOMEONE SEDATE ME SKWKDANDBNWDHJA
