Sometimes, you just have to rewrite/rework the things you don't like in your favorite shows for your own sanity.

He wants to know how far everything is or should be just in case something bad happens. Like for instance: if he was somehow blinded, he'd know how many steps he is to the nearest manhole cover or to any safe place he can think of.

His knows how far April’s apartment is, not because he has a crush on her, but because it's the result of survival tactic he’s perfected.

So, I read the last anon about how Shae was sent to kill us. So, my question is did they ever tell Mc that they were sent to kill them? Also, that they knew us and is that why they treat us nice?

Sorry for asking so many questions. When I get interested, I start thinking a lot. lol

Shea has never told the MC the truth, no. Not about their first meeting, nor them knowing the MC's true identity.

Them treating the MC with some semblance of kindness/respect is in part due to them knowing, but Shea also genuinely can't stand the injustice of it, so they feel compelled to defend/protect them.

... plus they might also have a big ol' soft spot for the MC :-)

I HATE how LGBTQ+ is classified as a genre. which means that any queer media released automatically gets compared to each other. that is in no way fair.

heartstopper is a cute story about young love. first kill is a goddamn vampire thriller (ik romance too, but I'm just picking out the overarching theme here).

why are we comparing the two for any other reason that they feature characters attracted to the same sex? we don't do that with heterosexual media. these two shows are NOT the same genre.

saying that heartstopper is better than first kill for xyz reason (and vice versa) makes no sense bc they are not comparable. compare first kill with stuff like twilight, pretty little liars, supernatural etc. compare heartstopper with other romances (sorry, can't think of any off the top of my head...I don't actually watch a lot of het romances anymore lmaoo).

but the bottom line is stop comparing first kill and heartstopper. they both have merits. they both have shortcomings. but they are not comparable. stop judging queer media against other queer media. compare them to things that are actually thematically similar. stop pitting us against each other

Hey everyone! this is where the zebra is currently with the design.

It has knee braces!! I will most probably be drawing the zebra usually with them on, but it’s no requirement, for example if anyone else wants to draw the zebra :-]. I always like to make sure an animal design has official colors underneath any clothing and accessory anyway. I think this will be final! thank you everyone for your feedback!

As a reminder, aside from why the zebra was requested for this flag, this is also just a zebra with the disability pride flag on it. It’s just a deisgn to fit the flag, with input from other disabled people in our community. It doesn’t mean other animals can’t have designs with these colors, too! I don’t mean this design to be the only mascot for all disabled people. It’s just a silly series i do of pride animals, and at the time, during disability pride month, I wanted to see what everyone wanted me to start off with for this flag!

the goal with my pride animals is to take requests and make people feel happy and seen.. that’s all <:-)
