It's a real fucking absolute travesty that YouTube can still keep acting like this when so many people depend on the site for their livelihood.

For context, they just implemented a RETROACTIVE policy which age-restricts content based on things like "foul language" (which works when somebody swears but not against hate speech, what a surprise) and "graphic imagery"; the real kick in the teeth is that creators have very few ways of predicting what will trigger the restrictions and if they do not get it right the first time their video is flagged, then there does not seem like there is anything that can be done. The reach gets gutted.

It's maddening how much the site keeps getting away with; the wonders of capitalistic monopoly, kids.

RTGame is, by the way, completely swell in my book.
