We have so many farms & artisan producers on our island, it’s about time we built the perfect spot for them to sell their goods. So I built Shadowmoss a quaint downtown district.
There's a spot for the Able Sisters Tailor Shop, boutique shopping, as well as Antonio’s farm-to-table restaurant with waterfront dining. On the beach in front of our small town main street we have a little farmers market for our villagers to sell their local products.
Been literal years since I’ve posted here, but I thought it could be nice to share some builds again✨ This is my new exterior for Ables Sisters of Andover, in Animal Crossing New Horizons. 👚🦔🌱
Finally completed the construction of my Able Sisters. Now I could finally start wearing decent outfits!

I usually stream ACNH on Wednesdays! If you wanna see how drastically I've changed my island from 2020, you should come say hi! You can pop over there using this link :D
(added the awning, chimney, and the stairs as a deco item with no footprint)
All the items you'll need to recreate The Able Sisters cute little shop in your TS4 game. All items came with only 1 swatch each. There are a few items that I added a couple of extra swatches for.
As always, turning the brightness down on functional lamps will make them look better (not overly bright) due to my vertex paint issue in Blender.
Type “ACNH Able” into the search query in build mode to find quickly. You can always find items like this, just begin typing the title and it will appear.
Use the raise & lower keyboard cheat to put your already styled mannequins onto the displays. The displays have slots, but mannequins will only let you place them on the floor, and won't allow styling once they have been raised, so make sure to do that first. They only need to be raised 1-2 notches depending on which display you are placing them on.
Use the scale up & down feature on your keyboard to make the items larger or smaller to your liking. If you have a non-US keyboard, it may be different keys depending on which alphabet it uses.
I am once again trying to revive my mostly-dead ACNH Discord server!
We are a small group of young/younger(?) adults (like, 20s to early-30s. Oh no, I'm feeling old.). Most of us are neurodivergent, and some of us are LGBT+ (I'm both!). There's about 50 members in the server right now, but don't let that fool you--only about 5 people ever say anything! TwT' (That is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what you might be looking for.)
We do not heavily moderate, mostly because no one ever causes any problems. Our members are good about appropriately putting spoiler tags on certain kinds of content. To give you an idea of what we're like, recent conversation has been about cats, potted plants, aphids... Ah, who am I fooling. We're just a bunch of nerds
The off-topic chats are separated from the game-related channels, so you can totally just mute the off-topic stuff if you want. Also, among the off-topic chats, there are separate channels for vents, discourse, food, and neurodivergent chat--so you can definitely tailor your experience (for example, mute the #vent channel and never get notified of drama!).
When you join, you will have limited access to the server. In order to gain full access, you have to accept the rules in the #rules channel by selecting an emote signifying that you have read the rules. Then you're in!
Send me a message if you have any questions or run into any problems, either here on tumblr or in Discord (I am also uberrapidash on Discord).
the thing about like google tailored search algorithms is like. Okay sometimes it's helpful right. I've been playing a lot of animal crossing again recently and I'm really into the bug catching and the fish collecting etc etc so i Google a lot to figure out oh what fish can I catch this month what's the spawn conditions etc etc.
so like i google "hammerhead shark" and it'll autofill "acnh" and all the results will be like gamefaqs and reddit threads and people talking about trying to catch it and offering advice and its super helpful However this leads me to
giraffe stags are the longest stag beetle species in the world and they're native to indonesia and in acnh they come out in july and i have reason to believe they're relatively rare/difficult to catch but i wouldn't know because my game is only in june rn
anyway the reason this is a problem For Me is that in my real actual life i have a pet giraffe stag and right now he's just a larvae he's a baby
^cute picture of my fat bug son
anyway whenever i try to google to remind myself what time of year his species pupates so i can keep an eye on him and make sure the conditions are safe/ideal all i get is
and i can't even complain because it's my fault!! ive trained the algorithm to show me this stuff because im addicted to video game fishing and it's ruining my son's life. This is a problem only me and maybe two other people have ever had.
