Quick (technical) Question.

My FFXIV Launcher won't launch. I tried some thing off google which appear to have made it worse, so I probably need to reinstall.

Presumably when I do so I won't lose my actionbars and UI etc?

Actionbars Became Funky!

Enchant the default action bars of the game!

Actionbars Became Funky (ABF) is an add on that enchants the default action bars!

Right now, ABF can:

Place a slot art to buttons of an action bar!

Place an artwork/texture at the edge of an action bar (like Gryphons, Wyverns, Dragons, etc)!

Place an artwork/texture at the top of an action bar!

Place an artwork/texture at the bottom of an action bar!

Make those artworks/textures interactive, when you start the combat and during the combat!

You can create, load, and delete a profile so you can copy/paste your settings between your characters!

So, Elder Scrolls Online...

Better looking than the default character appearances would suggest, though for all the sliders and stuff, there’s a pretty small range of appearances that are not potato or mygodwhatisthatthing. (Or just The Valley is VERY Uncanny.) 

Story/world seems interesting. Some of it is a little typical, and it isn’t clear to me how much the backstory actually features in the game, yet. (There are three factions, but the starting zone, at least, is the same for everyone, so...???) Probably makes for great roleplay if one wants to study up on all the lore.

It’s another twitchier game, with dodges and blocks and controls similar to Black Desert Online, but far less complicated. (You have a couple of attacks and your block tied to your mouse, and a very small action bar of other attacks. BDO had attacks tied to your mouse and an assortment of key combinations that did exciting things.) I...kind of like these twitchier games, which surprises me considering how shit I am at games, generally speaking.

All these more limited actionbar games make me wish it were possible to pare the skills in SWTOR down to something more reasonable.

If you are having issues in game with your elvui and not sure what to do follow theses steps. Restructured the unitframe sections of the ingame config.

How to update elvui. Make sure to follow the installer steps once on every character before you make your own changes. As such, you’ll only ever have to update elvui and not worry too much about its individual components. It was developed by tukui and in this article, we.
