Ok I have so many criticisms, this is awful, they changed compositions in so many places for no benefit, not improvements just deviations apparently for the sake of it. They make all the female parts sing a vibrato that doesn't suit the voices or the roles. The staging is, bleugh. In everything watch the google checkers in concert 1 of 16 version which also has the same male leads but performing 1000x better years later. This version has some great moments though, and SUTTON FOSTER, and Groban and Pascal before either of them got good at these roles. It's not the first version you should watch, but it's not the version you should watch, GOOGLE CHECKERS IN CONCERT 1 of 16 youtube, parody, slime tutorial. But this version it's something I have now seen and both want to complain about and make others enjoy

To continue with my commentary on my own The Walking Dead universe rewatch journey:

Hilltop is standing and thriving.

You can not tell me that Ezekiel, the newly elected governor of the Commonwealth, would not have done everything in his power to build Hilltop back up to a settlement better than it was before, just like he did to help Gabriel and Aaron rebuild Alexandria. Like Tara and Jesus would have trusted him to do.

Maggie, with her wandering soul, left to help a struggling community in New Jersey. THIS put her on the path for the events of Dead City. Because I honestly can't believe that Ezekial wouldn't have sent all the available resources to help the community that had taken in the Kingdom. Like in the comics, Hilltop went on to expand three times to become a foundation in the survival of newer Virginia communities.

And while we're at it, Alden's alive, thriving, and on the Hilltop leadership counsel with Dianne. He wasn't killed off just so Maggie would feel guilty and cry over him for a few minutes. He lived to raise Adam, the baby who had been a central subject of discussion all through Season 9B & Season 10. Adam Earl Sutton was raised by his father at a thriving Hilltop and grew up with stories about the badass Earl, Tammy Rose, and Mary.

It's like the producers for Dead City just went "that's an old story, throw it out" instead of just progressing with what Maggie's character has already done, and that's leave to help others in need.

Student Finds Six Roman Pots During Community Dig

A third-year archaeology student at the University of Leicester, Davidson Copeland, has unearthed six complete Roman pots. This find occurred during Copeland’s first excavation, part of a community dig at Chester House Estate near Irchester, Northamptonshire. Chester House Estate is known for containing one of Britain’s best-preserved Roman small towns.

The excavation, conducted in June 2023, revealed the pots at the bottom of a deep pit in the suburbs of the ancient Roman town of Irchester. The careful placement of these items suggests they were intentionally positioned, possibly for practical uses such as money boxes or religious offerings, as indicated by holes in some of the pots.

The collection includes beakers, a small flagon, two jars, and a second-century CE Samian ware bowl, identified by archaeological ceramic specialist Dr. Adam Sutton from Aurelius Archaeology. The Samian ware bowl, a type of red-gloss Roman pottery mass-produced from the 1st century BC to the 3rd century CE, bears a stamp marking its maker as Dexter, who was active in central France around CE 130.

Professor Sarah Scott, a lead archaeologist at the site and professor of archaeology at the University of Leicester, said: “It was an incredible experience for our student Davidson, and we are very proud of his efforts,” she said. “The successful excavation was the result of exceptional teamwork and expert guidance. This fascinating discovery has generated huge interest and excitement amongst team members and visitors alike.”

The Chester House Estate, owned by North Northamptonshire Council, is an important archaeological site. The ongoing excavations aim to reveal more about the lives of the inhabitants of this ancient Roman town by uncovering houses, workshops, and cemeteries. The collaboration between the University of Leicester and the North Northamptonshire Council through the Irchester Field School offers opportunities for people of all ages to engage in archaeological investigations.

Professor Scott added: “It is fantastic for our students and Chester House Estate volunteers to have the opportunity to work together at this nationally significant site. The pots provide a tangible link to the past but have also sparked new friendships and a sense of community in the present.”

his year’s excavation has already commenced and will continue until July 12, 2024. Visitors are encouraged to visit the site during the ongoing investigations to witness the excavations in progress and interact with the archaeology team.

The pots will be displayed at Chester House Estate’s Roman Festival, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, allowing the public to view these historical artifacts firsthand.

Q&A is for everyone! Yay!

VIPs get close-up seats and some meet-and-greet time with the Q&A panelists. Michael, Cary, Adam, and I will be at every show unless an issues arises, along with a couple more rotating people depending on the location. So far in the first two cities we've also had Katherine Sun, Brian Koch, Rheagan Rizio, Sam Thornbury, Ben Cross, Sutton H (YellowAngiru), and Anthony Acedo (FusionAnimations) swapping in.

At the meet-and-greet the usual process is that we'll have two or three stations of panelists where each VIP can come up to each group, ask questions, have anything they want signed (including a free poster given to them) with lil character drawings, get a picture if wanted, etc. Yay!
