Gude & Tidemand were norwegian romantic painters, which often portrayed the beauty of the norwegian landscape. They created many paintings together as they both studied at the art academy of Düsseldorf in Germany.

The "Sognefjord" is the longest and deepest fjord of Europe. - also known as "The King of the Fjords"
