It’s not as if Newey would be departing because of a general malaise within the team, either; this is very much a personal issue based around the Christian Horner controversy regarding the employee who served as PA to both Horner and Newey.
With Nico Hülkenberg joining Sauber I'm thinking Audi all german lineup. Now you might be thinking of mick or seb but you're wrong: Nico Rosberg. This would create opportunity to make a shitload of terrible jokes and I would personally enjoy it
Also, Newey does not hoin Ferrari but rather audi, Lewis might cry but I think two-time wdc Nico Rosberg would hit
for narrative purposes i think the funniest possible thing that could happen is adrian newey going to ferrari and the car just absolutely flopping. you get a ferrari-newey-hamilton lineup and they are just. so slow. snail pace car. fighting for their lives in the middle of the grid. i actually think italy would explode
we need to acknowledge who the REAL sugar baby of redbull is... adrian newey. ferrari tried seducing him and the soda company said HOLD ✋ we will let you build a road car. somehow. we'll make it happen babe. and then leveraged their former engine partner (aston martin) to build the fucking Valkyrie
Newey details major F1 trait shared by Vettel and Verstappen
"I think with all the drivers I've been lucky enough to work with over the year, their feedback is vital," he says.
"Very often, different drivers will be more sensitive to different areas.
"For example, Sebastian Vettel and Max have one thing in common, in that they are both very sensitive to the tyres.
"Other drivers, like Mark Webber for instance, were very sensitive to aerodynamic changes, and Max is as well.
"With the driveability of the engine, some drivers are more sensitive than others, so you get different bits of feedback from different drivers and then piece it all together.
"Theoretically, you could argue that with all the sensors on the car, and all the simulation tools we have to derive from the sensors, then we shouldn't need the feedback of a human.
"But, the human feedback is vital as the human is the controller, the sensitivity and feeling and ability to express that is key.
BBC Sport has received confirmation that Adrian Newey is to leave Red Bull Racing in the wake of the controversy involving allegations about team principal Christian Horner.
When all of the key figures of your team are unhappy and thinking about walking away, it might be time to re-evaluate your own behaviour and role within the team.
Ngl I'm emotional seeing adrian looking up at the podium which is the 115th win for Red Bull. He designed every single car behind each of those wins and they just overtook Williams to take p4 in all time constructor wins, a team he spent seven years with. Without question, he is one of the most successful bts figures in f1 history.
