I'm reading this book my therapist gave me last year, it's Aspergirls - Empowering Females with Asperger Syndrome. A year later, I'm not a girl but I found the book really interesting.
In Chapter 11 - Employment and Career a phrase caught my attention
" most Aspies want to go to work, do their job and go home, but it's not that simple"
And I wonder why? Why do we need to engage in useless conversation about what David from Marketing did last Sunday? I do not care!
Sure the human aspect of all these things called world is to share and be with others but when it's imposed by 'norms' it can get difficult to manage and sustain.
So, as many of us autistic humans are struggling to find a job and 'see' other humans, I'm going to create a group of Aspies, developers cause it's what I am and work together on the learning tool that I'm currently writing (I use JavaScript, React, Node.js)
This is not a job offer, tho! I'm unemployed as well but the scope is to code together (not live coding!) and create something that might be sold one day.
