What if Magic is just living the suspension of disbelief on the Right Side of your brain? Our Left Brain dominates our lifestyle now, but what about way back when, when we could not understand everything. Ergo, we relied on the right side of our brain.

Yo, just in case you haven’t noticed, I’ve ditched the name “ScottofNorth” as it’s kinda worn down on me since I’ve had that as my online name for... a long time. Anyhow, I’ve meant to change it for a long time, and I think “AfterimagedKid” kinda evokes a little more of what I intend for my online presence: Illustrating and doing so with “childlike wonder” or some such nonsense.
So yeah, if you’re scrolling beyond this post, then you’ll start to see some older stuff, perhaps watermarked or tagged with different names. Maybe I’ll go back and update it, but... it’s really not on my to-do list.
Going forward, TL;DR:
“Scott of North” : A more personal name, if you see this it’s probably outdated and old and no longer in use.
“AfterimagedKid” : My modern display name, best used for my illustrations going forward. Note, I’ll still post the “rare” animation, but it won’t nearly be as frequent, at least until I can master some more complex programs, (I’m coming for you, Blender).
“North Animation” : A “company” name where I’ll still occasionally use for more professional settings.
What if Magic is being twisted by our confounded language? Perhaps it’s a dead word. I do not speak of modern magic, or tricks with slight of hand.
Why is magic never mixed with today? Can’t technology and mythology exist within the same realm without exploring to a different world? Our world speaks to all of us. She is our mother.
Art requires two people: The Artist, and the Judge. The information is given to the Judge. They look it over and give a verdict. The Artist can receive the information, but choose whether or not to accept it.
What I may call my masterpiece, you may call it an embarrassment. What I call sketches, you find amazing.
