rotating some ideas in my mind ... Thinking of an AU where they have to work together and trust one another for the whole thing. Phoenix isn't part of the Agency, so they don't have an implant nor the infamy from the games. I think they'd still have an extremely lucky streak though. Prism's still doing kinesium research, and for many reasons her expertise becomes quite a demand.

I have some more thoughts rotating in my mind but yeah! They don't really get along at first...Well, Roxana mostly. Sometimes Phoenix acts so goofily she can't imagine them being a competent bodyguard...plus she'd already been planning to hand her research over to Zoraxis, so having a companion that the Agency gave her is. Infuriating.

Phoenix on the other hand is just happy to be here :]

Another little scenario I keep thinking about.

So Dr. Prism has met John Juniper at least once or twice. He thought she was fine, but she didn’t like him at all. How could Reginald like this jerk?

Much later down the line, Roxana finds out that Phoenix is engaged. They’re like “yeah, we had a pretty rough start, but then we just started growing closer and closer. He has an attitude, but he’s still pretty sweet.” Before she can ask who the lucky guy is, John, scarred but still very much alive, comes up and gives Phoenix a kiss. It makes her blue screen for a good moment.

There isn't that many EOD members we know of, so this features Prism as well.

You’re likely brought in after one of their many big missions. (Each game's final mission.)

So they’ll be surprised but excited to see and meet a new agent.

If you two get along, great! You have a new friend now, one that constantly follows you.

When you have a mission they always try to go with you if possible, though they are fully aware they are the best the agency has.

Never brings you on their missions, they are far too dangerous for someone as new as you.

They’ll take it upon themself to teach you everything you need to know.Speaking of, forget the training manuals and videos, who needs that when you have the agent Phoenix?

Honestly, he isn’t that surprised at there being a new recruit, but he is a little surprised.

So if you show him some potential he’ll immediately take you under his wing and care.

He’ll opt to teach you everything you need to know, mainly with the manuals and videos. But he’ll occasionally take something from Phoenix’s book.

But after Phoenix’s missions and tricks? He’s being a lot more careful with newer recruits.

For your first few missions he is internally freaking out constantly.

But he tries to make sure you don’t realize, otherwise you might freak out as well.

So he does everything in his power to be there for every step of the way if possible.

ℝ𝕠𝕩𝕒𝕟𝕒 𝕡𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕞:

It's highly likely she won’t even realize, uncaring for any agency agents.

And she’ll continue to not care until you make yourself known, whether its against her or her bots

But even then it’s more of a one shdie rivalry, if you prove to be good enough.

If you are good enough, she’ll try to gather any bit of information she can to take you down.

Agent Phoenix keeping close with Roxana after the events of 3 is a very cute thought when considering that Phoenix would be likely to help her get her last surviving robot back. But it becomes an increasingly funnier thought when considering how often Phoenix and Roxana would probably be caught by a silly robot making himself at home when the two are trying to be affectionate.

YES!!! my god anon I was just literally thinking of writing something where Phoenix brings Right with them in a road trip to search for Prism and reunite them...

Also, yes, I 1000% agree with the silly robot shenanigans! I don't know how Right would react to that...not that he doesn't trust Phoenix, but more so that Prism having company (that wasn't her coworkers) is a rare sight to him. It's always been her and the robots since they gained sentience, and to see her just........ Content and relieved, with a trustworthy companion.. I think Right would be alright with that! Right would be more incredulous of the fact that Prism is getting cuddly with the agent they just tried to kill recently. Strange............... but they turned out to be really nice, so it's ok :3

...All that said, Right barging in the two being kissy-kissy and snuggly would cause some real funny reactions...mostly from Phoenix, who'd get flustered real quickly LMAO I think Prism would take the time to explain all this to her lil robit...in which Right would absolutely tease Phoenix (and Prism, to a lesser extent) about all that.

Starting with the song that gave me Roxanix brainworms (Phoenix POV)... "Make Me A Boat" uhhh

^^ driving me absolutely insane (and also potentially "She Knows My Name" but I haven't listened to that in a bit)

Then there's 2 songs that go together because the first one is a prelude to the 2nd. I associate both with Juniper very heavily. "William's Dirge" is sooo theatrical and it fits JJ so well, but I also feel like it has a sensation of grandeur that works with Zor? Anyways they follows into "Howl" which is ny no1 favourite song of all time. Maybe it's a little Smokescreen, but I shrimply don't care, it's fun and super Juniper.
