💓 Astro Notes PT 3 ! 💓

+I’m definitelyy gonna do sign posts soon, like houses, planets, asteroids, and all, it’s all gonna have a theme to each topic yada yada yadaa, so look outtt+

*All aries risings have sign/house synchronization because the house order doesn’t move or if it does move at all it hardly does, only shifting by a sign or two depending on how late the ascendant degree is, this is notorious of aries’ independence streak by wanting each sign to be in their native houses, to feel its house’s full power, aries rules 1st the house of identity so there’s the more symbolic way for this occurring. It’s pure energy here.

*Venus-saturn, especially conjunction, definitely carry a big daddy vibe. It’s more prominent if the two are placed in the angular houses.

*Taurus and libra are both rules by venus, but these energies are distributed between the two signs in different ways. A basic way to differ the two energy wise is taurus is the “masculine” side of venus, libra is far more “feminine”. Both are delicate but in different ways taurus is “heavier”, for it being an earth sign, contrasted with the airy and flighty libra.

*Libra sun is in fall in astrology, the fall meaning the behavior of the sign contradicts the traditional role of the planet, the role of the sun is to stand out from everyone else, its your radiance, what makes you special, it’s your ego and what you take pride in. But libra wants to be relatable to everyone, to NOT stand out, merge and meet and balance !! This is the opposite of aries, aries is independent, “what makes ME independent, me me me !!”, explaining its exaltation when the sun enters this sign, it’s not absolutely the same as leo sun or the suns energy overall but it’s a close fit, almost... perfect, that’s what the exaltation means represents here. Libra is focused on everyone else around them, everyone other than themselves, the people around them and how they can compromise to fit everyone’s needs. I mentioned before they don’t like to stand out, this is excluding fire placements in a libras chart which will create a person who relates well to others but still demands to stand out in whatever planet is in a fire sign.

*Whatever house leo is ruling is wherever your rising sign’s ego is being expressed in, ex: leo in 11th expresses their ego, creativity with friends, causes. This area of life is where you’ll likely take most pride in, excluding the suns placement in the chart.

*Neptune in 7th can attract a lot of partners in need of healing or help. This person is very healing and guiding in relationships, maybe they could even make a good guidance counselor, but I’m not so sure astrologically because I haven’t looked into it entirely, let me know if this is true.

*Neptune in 2nd is the type of person to browse a shop, find whatever they like but never end up buying it, they change their minds about it by putting it back right before they leave. They could’ve been talking about hooow much they want to get whatever they’re holding onto over and over again but never buy the thinggg.

*Aries mercury were always told to lower their voice or be quiet as kids I swear.

*Uranus in 12th feels they should hide their brilliance, these are veryy creative people they just keep it a secret.

*12th house feels like a never ending game of hide and seek, you find the planet sometimes but you’re always in a never ending loop, always searching for it.

*The moon in astrology, when looking into the mother, who’s ruled by the moon in astrology, describes your relationship with her, what she’s like, how she raised you etc...

*Ex: taurus moons, your mother gave you many gifts, she adored youu as taurus is ruled venus which rules gifts and appreciation, she was also very relaxed in your childhood, she still is now. This relationship is a very calm, steady one, moon is exalted in taurus meaning the role of the moon is comfortable in relaxed and comfy taurus.

*Ex: a moon in 8th, the house of intense and psychic scorpio, could have a psychic or even telepathic bond to the mother, this is a very strong connection overall and depending on its sign and aspects is where you’ll find the specifics of the relationship from, the details, how the relationship is flavored.

*Sun in 12th indicates an absent father figure. This placement is difficult, i’m so sorry if you have it because you can never feel like you can be yourself, it’s hidden from you. With any other placement in astrology, there’s a gorgeous, forgiving upside to it, you’re very healing and understanding of others, an empath or at least someone who sucks in the negative vibes out the environment, it can get quite exhausting !! so always need to seclude yourself now and then, you’re very loyal and caring of your loved ones, people love you for your sensitivity and empathy as this placement also makes you an old soul, someone overflowing with wisdom others rely on.

*5th house shows you what your child will be like, what traits they embody, what they will do and even how they act.

*Capricorn risings look elvish, they have high cheekbones a lot like a LOTR character and elvish, chiseled ears. It’s not OUT there but it’s subtle.

*Chiron in 9th has experienced religious trauma.

*A lot of 12th or 8th house placements carry a lot of karma.

*Mercury-pluto (especially negative) can become inconsiderate in arguments, they bring up a ton of shit to use against you, only as long as they can win.

*Scorpio suns are far more optimistic and light hearted than the moon sign.

*Mercury-ascendant aspects can make even an introverted rising sign more out-going, open, talkative (not that introverted risings can’t be talkative this is just what comes with this placement).

*You may be good at something without realizing it, take a peak at your 12th house or quintiles !! For quintiles, look up the trine form of whatever two planets are aspected for the general description since there’s not too much to find online sadly. 12th house is something you don’t really know or realize you’re good at, especially early in life, the secret talent pertaining to whichever sign or planet are ruling/in this house.

*Leo venus take pride in their loverss like damnnnn they literally treat their partners as royalty, king and queen, kissing the ground they walk on and everything, they’re so devoted in love, it’s adorable !! <33

*Pisces and leo moons, THE dreamiest, most romantic moon sign pairr, it’s well known pisces is the hopeless romantic of the zodiac, however to bring up the flamboyant, dramatic leo moon when describing a dreamy romantic you wonder, really ?? Yes this is extremely true ! Both signs, pisces and leo, are fairly alike, almost alike in fact, considering they both create a inconjunction in the natal chart, two signs who share some similarities while still contradicting one another in ways they express these similarities, both pisces and leo are creative, talented, have a love for the arts, film, music, loyal as friends and love to care for others, both are insanely idealistic. Just let your partners know you deserve your space because you guys can really run out of mental power after a while, so it’s necessary for you to recharge !! just don’t ghost people completely when you do, it’s where this immortal stereotype comes from.

I love this question. My college used to have ridiculous branding which included three descriptors to describe the school culture: Heady, Nervy, and Intellectually Exciting. It still pops into my head anytime anyone asks me to describe myself in a pithy way. 

I’m a Libra so I’ll go with: creative, charming, and wry.

3 things you are the most passionate about

In a superficial sense, I’m a little embarrassed that Good Girls is on this list. I love our show, but I don’t mean to be so extra about it? But, if I’m honest, I’ve been obsessed now for over a year, and it ties into other passions.  It’s how I’ve been building writing muscles and it encouraged me to try out digital art. 

Hmmm... it’s hard to pick three right now! Real-life me likes to bitch endlessly about capitalism and talk your ear off about class issues. I don’t mean to default to identity politics but I love to talk about the Mexico/US border and Texas-Mexican culture and unpack race and gender and sexuality (24/7 all the time). 

I also love food. :-) 

3 movies/books/tv shows that made you cry

Ahh!! What immediately comes to mind is embarrassing. It’s so Texan...

1. Friday Night Lights (the tv show). I used to watch FNL when I needed a good cry. It doesn’t work anymore because I used it too much. 

2. The Warmth of Suns by Isabel Wilkerson is the only book in recent memory that’s made me cry. It’s a study of the Great Migration in the US, when many Black folks left Jim Crow South to various cities in the Northern US or the West Coast. It has a wide lens talking about the phenomenon overall and then zooms in to follow three particular people. It’s so moving, so detailed, and such a labor of love. All I need is to think about it and I get weepy. I bought it for all my people last Christmas. 

3. I’ll list another tv show. We’re rewatching Mad Men in my household and we got to the episode when JFK is shot on live tv and all of the characters sit watching the news cycle crying and smoking an atrocious amount of cigarettes as they get more and more upset. It absolutely made me cry because it was so absurdly relevant to my experience of the 2020 news cycle. I’m weak.

I am far from being an expert, but I love the validation you shower me with 🥰 Though I actually would love to reach a level where I can offer chart readings to anyone interested and have it be some kind of little side job one day. I’ve never really thought about Azula’s nor Mai’s sign. Now I really want to think + look into it! It would be fun to analyze how that affected their dynamic with Zuko. I’ve been meaning to do a rewatch of the entire series due to quarantine, but even with staying home, there’s still school. And I find myself more stressed and not in the proper headspace to do a whole rewatch + be able to appreciate it properly. Idk if that made any sense, but hopefully I get over it soon. (3/9)

I’m hypothesizing that Azula has strong Leo/Scorpio to her, though she shows the negative qualities. She’s very loud, loud as in she makes people take notice of her + seeks praise/basks in any praise given to her, feeling entitled to all of it. Though I have to give it to her, she has this compelling vibe to her, so her entitlement is valid. She’s also cunning + manipulative and is a master at being so. Though none of that is her fault, she just really didn’t know any better. (4/9)

I would associate Mai’s no bull-shit attitude with Capricorn/Aquarius. I actually haven’t read the comics but her no bull-shit persona shines in the series and it’s fantastic! She’s not upfront with her feelings, but blunt with everything else. At the same time, she didn’t have a problem with stepping up when needed, such as stepping up to Azula. All of which fit into the archetypes of Cap/Aqua. And I agree communication between her and Zuko would be crucial for understanding between them. (5/9)

Those are my best guesses, I’ll get back to you more on how their signs played into their interactions with Zuko when I get to rewatching the series later! Yue’s gentleness comes from her Venus energy, and it’s wonderful how it allows Zuko’s inner Cancer to be visible. I also just realized Yue’s Libra energy and Zuko’s Aries energy play a part as to why they’re so appealing to each other too. They are opposites that just absolutely complement each other! (6/9)

Oh, I’m a Taurus + Libra moon + Sagittarius ascendant! Thanks for being curious ☺️ Going back to how you said you’re a Scorpio and your sister is a Taurus, I can relate. My mom is a Scorpio, and similarly, it took growing up for me to understand where my mom is coming from because we used to disagree on a bunch of things. I don’t have a proper explanation for it tbh. Other than the fact that Taurus and Scorpio are naturally opposites, so misunderstandings can easily arise. (7/9)

Though funny enough, I have a lot of people in my life that have Scorpio in their chart, and I’ve read a few times that if signs that naturally oppose each other make the effort to connect, then the connection is extraordinary. And as a Taurus, the people who positively affected me most are people with Scorpio energy, so I guess it’s the universe’s way of bringing balance. (8/9)

I love reading people’s words because you can tell how much effort and joy the person has while writing something (whatever the topic is). Like high-key, I wait for your asks because they’re always so long and in-depth, and as someone who suffers from word vomit – I can appreciate the passion and overall love. You can read my whole soul damnit because while I totally agree with you that Astrology is a broad discipline with much material to learn and cover, you have a vast knowledge on the topic already. OUUU, I see that mix of Leo Scorpio. Gosh, you're so good at this stuff. I can ask you questions all day LOOL. Like that manipulative aspect is, no doubt in my mind, a Scorpio thing 🙈. HANDS DOWN, I would not label you as a Taurus!

I was going to label you as a Libra (so I’m happy I got that one right, kind of), but I’m so shooketh about the Taurus. But I can’t agree with you more on the fact that while Taurus/Scorpio’s are opposites, if they put effort into the relationship, it's incredible. Because I think a lot of it stems from miscommunication. Like I believe communication is vital in any given relationship, obliviously, but certain signs need an extra sprinkle of it to work.

My sister just had a second baby, and her first baby is a Libra/Scorpio cusp, and the second girl is Scorpio, and her husband is also a Libra/Scorpio cusp. I had to laugh and say good luck raising two mini-mes! She’s like I shot myself in the foot LOOL 😂😂😂

Hey there! 💖🖤❄️ Ahh thank u so much!! 💖🖤❄️ Oh this is fun, in astrology (more in trad. astro) there’s ways to evaluate/assess if certain placements are doing well. If it’s afflicted, if it’s dignified, if it’s quality is a certain kind etc. So when we’re talking about Cancer Moon - we’re talking about the quality of the planet and how it works in the sign, the Moon is domicile in Cancer.

Domicile - Detriment, What does it mean? ‘Healthy’ and ‘Unhealthy’? ⬇️

It’s in it’s ruling planet - this placement is dignified in a way (there’s also plenty of ways that it could still be facing challenges of it’s own - like the house, aspects, etc.). 

That’s probably why we say it’s ‘healthy’ even though we don’t necessary mean that it doesn’t have problems? If it’s aspecting something like saturn/mars/pluto, if it’s in a certain house that talks about more maleficent subjects, it can still have certain problems we still have to work through. But by itself - just looking at the pieces- we’re looking at a relatively strong and well-working piece (theoretically). Does this make sense?? ;;

It’s potential - like oh hey this is good BECAUSE (theoretically) the planet has it’s function, and the sign’s expression can bring that out of them in the way the planet wants or should be working at. Doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s easy to handle or that its easier to the person - just that they can exemplify it (potentially) in the best way once they grow with it as well.

It’s like if you hold idk, superpowers. Like superman. A lot of power can be hard to handle - potentially this person can weld it well to an extent, but that doesn’t mean they don’t face problems with controlling it or adapting it for their own use. Learning to use it is still a factor, no one is born as a baby and knows how to control/use a large amount of power they have in them. It’s a progress, growing and learning as you go. Adapting and developing. But it’s nice/good because it’s not working AGAINST what the planet wants, and thus - the overall potential and self-expression is less of an issue (one less issue to deal with).

So to put it into perspective- think of hm, Capricorn moon. Capricorn is the opposite of Cancer, since Cancer is domicile in the Moon- Capricorn Moon is in it’s detriment. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the person is unhealthy or bad necessarily (this is subjective), it just means that the self-expression of the Capricorn in the Moon is working against what the Moon should be doing/want sometimes. If the Moon says ‘hey talk about your feelings’ the Capricorn Moon is going to go ‘uh? no. To who? What feelings?’ if it’s NOT the feeling they want to express. Regardless of what they’re feeling anyways. 

There’s a reason why people say Capricorns are bad at feelings and that might’ve stemmed from Capricorn being detriment in the Moon, but it rules Saturn. Control, structure, time, challenges and long-term achievements. These are some things that Capricorn can strive and excel in if its placed in Saturn. Doesn’t necessarily mean that Capricorn Saturn won’t face problems either! Even in it’s domicile placements, the Capricorn Saturn would have to work, develop and get on top of it to control it’s powers properly!  

Certain signs in certain planets works differently. So it’s not to say a Capricorn Saturn is the same as a Capricorn Moon. Same as how Cancer moon =/= Cancer Sun/Mercury/Venus/Mars unless they do have those placements themselves. Because every single planet has it’s corresponding wants/wills, it’s always different according to what sign it’s in. 

A Libra sun won’t be the same as a Libra Venus, a Pisces Mercury won’t be the same as a Pisces Jupiter. A Taurus Mars won’t be the same as Taurus Moon either. We’re just talking about qualities of a sign in a certain placement and how it works together. 

SO. In conclusion. The word dignified, domicile, detriment etc. May seem confusing as to where it came from. But we’re just describing like-- the quality of the placements. 

Planets have rulers right? Like Libra and Taurus are ruled by Venus. Gemini and Virgo are ruled by Mercury. Cancer is ruled by the Moon. 

So when the sign happens to be in it’s ruling planet. Like a Cancer Moon for example, we say it’s domicile, it’s dignified. Because the quality is good, there’s potential there, no need to worry about adjusting things in that regard. One less thing to worry about.

this is an interesting one. I... don’t think so? and that’s not because I expect people to hurt me, I just have a lot of walls and a front I tend to put up until I’m close with someone. and scorpio is my dominant sign so hey that’s fitting. bro uh. you know i see why people romanticize traveling a lot, it’s supposed to be this really revealing experience—and I did get to study abroad in college, and it was a powerful and introspective experience—but now that I’m older and have a job and medications and illnesses and disabilities I just don’t know how feasible traveling would be for me. THAT BEING SAID: it’s on my bucket list to spend a few nights to a week in a cabin with paints and books and just fucking chill.

currently my goal is to become an adolescent therapist, but if that doesn’t flesh out, something else in the realm of social work or accessibility. and obviously I want enough time and energy to keep making art!

Writing commission I did for @lunarlapin! This is a modern AU for Priam/F!Robin where Robin works at a cafe Priam one day visits

It’s going to start raining this week, huh…

Robin gave a gentle sigh and smiled at the idea. It had been a while since it last rained, so it could do the city some good. That, and the rain always had a calming feel to it that Robin couldn’t really describe with words.

More, a scene would play over and over again in her head.

Rain would start to fall gently, and Robin would carry her umbrella on her wrist as she would stuff her hands in her pockets and bundle up in her scarf. She would wear that cute beret she got while visiting a Rossinian boutique shop, and a nice pair of leggings that would match her boots. In this fantasy, she would imagine the world calming down from its hectic hobbies and creating a soothing image of streetlights and neon business signs being highlighted in contrast to the gray skies. This would be the kind of weather that would inspire writers to sit down and have a cup of coffee, and inspire others to appreciate the welcoming silence that would make the common person reflect. And at the end of this day, it would rain just a bit more. Robin would twirl her umbrella as she walked home, where a warm blanket on the couch would welcome her to drink some hot cocoa and read a good book.

If she were lonely, she would imagine heavier rains that would bring thunderclouds with it. She would rush home in this part of the fantasy, completely soaked and worried her power would go out. In this fantasy, there would be her significant other. The handsome fellow on the couch that would invite her to share the blanket, that would have a towel on the side to help her dry off, that would calm her every time she heard thunder boom. He would light candles when the power went out, and the two would talk for hours on end about everything and nothing before they would become too tired to talk.

Realistically, she knew that was the overused romance plots from television and books speaking for her. Rain always had this romantic appeal to her.

The bell chimed as Robin stepped inside the café.

“Welcome to Scales!” Sumia greeted.

“Hey, Sumia,” Robin smiled as she wove her way to the back.

Robin looked at her waitress attire in the mirror to make sure there were no surprise stains on her way here. It contained: a cute seafoam green, short sleeved blouse, a brown apron tied across her waist, a black pencil skirt with complimentary black leggings, and black slip-on platformer shoes.

“You know we have a back entrance for you to use, right?” One of the chefs, Stahl, teased.

“I know, but I feel more motivated to work when I’m greeted.”

Stahl merely rolled his eyes with a smile and went on finishing an omelet for table 3.

“Good thing you got here before rush hour started, Bubbles,” another waiter named Gaius sighed as he untied his robe. “I don’t think I’d be able to survive.”

“Oh, c’mon, you have Cordelia and Sumia to keep you company.”

“But they don’t like talking to meeeeeeee.”

Always a child, this one.

And so, another day of work commenced. Robin would switch between greeting, seating, and serving orders to customers alongside Sumia, Cordelia, and when he got off from his break, Gaius. When she had the chance, she would ask the chefs Stahl and Kellam to come up with ridiculous order names. It never worked, but it was nice and relevant small talk. And when she was about to leave for her break, she would glance outside to see if it started raining yet. Nothing yet, but it was starting to become gray.

A good sign, then.

Robin quietly thought to herself as she ate the lunch Kellam provided her. She never asked, and Kellam never insisted, but she had to admit his cooking was top-notch. Made even the worst of work days seem more than just bearable.

Gosh, even thinking about those bad days gives off a bad vibe… Robin thought to herself.

Once throwing away her napkins and leaving her dish in the dirty pile was done with, Robin returned to the work world.

Things seemed to be normal: Frederick would be sitting in his own corner reading the newspaper as he drank his coffee and eat a croissant before he went to work in the morning, Olivia would be working on her laptop and eating a sandwich at noon, and the kids from down the block would order as soon as they got off from school.

Something felt…off. Not threatening off, but more unexpected off.

Robin scanned the small café until she noticed him: a tall, bulky man donned in uniform. A decorated navy blue coat, white belt, lighter blue pants, fancy black shoes, white glove, and even a white hat uniform.

His hair’s too long for him to be in service now… Robin thought as she looked at the small ponytail he adorned. Her eyes then wandered to his face. …He does look handsome, though.

“Welcome to Scales,” she greeted.

The man politely bowed and thanked her before she showed him his table.

“You new here?” She asked.

He nodded with a smile.

“Reunion with my old faction,” he explained. “One of them recommended this café when I got here, and since I have a month or so to be here, I couldn’t let the opportunity pass.”

“Don’t you worry, we’ll make sure you feel right at home.” Robin smiled.

Robin couldn’t help but catch quick glances at this man after he finished placing his order. He fascinated her. Maybe it was the uniform talking, but he had a gentlemanly attitude that she really admired. He wasn’t as cold as Frederick, but he wasn’t as loud as the high schoolers. He kept to himself, but he wasn’t shy like Olivia. Another soft-spoken individual that would let his mind wander, but would keep himself grounded once his order and check would arrive.

Someone Robin could definitely relate to.

“He sure seems handsome, doesn’t he?” Sumia spoke.

Robin idly nodded, not really paying mind.

She insisted on serving him the day after, and the day after that, and the day after that. Of course, he wasn’t in his uniform the following days, but she could tell it was him from a mile away. She would still serve when she was needed most, but she would still catch glances of him and wave when he caught her eye. He would smile and nod back to her at those times. And the times when she did manage to serve him, they had more small talk after she would thank him for his service. It didn’t even feel like small talk, though. Not the way this man, later revealed to be named Priam when paying off his meals, spoke. Talking with him came as naturally as breathing, and she couldn’t help but be fascinated whenever he unwove a story about his units. It was times like these that she was glad her break time allowed her to sit with him.

“Oh, Robin, Libra wants to see you in his office,” Cordelia spoke to Robin after one break.

Oh no. People only went to Libra’s office when something terrible was about to happen.

She took in a deep breath to ease her nerves before she knocked on the door.

“Yes, come in,” the voice behind the door responded.

Robin opened the door to see her manager, Libra, at his desk reading papers and the like.

“You…wanted to see me, Sir?”

“Ah yes, Robin. Please, have a seat.”

Robin did as such, praying internally that she would at least be set on actual fire before being fired from this job itself.

“I couldn’t help but notice you chat more with one customer than you do others.”

Yep, this was it, this was what was going to ruin her.

“It’s inexcusable and inappropriate behavior, I know. I’ll make sure to correct myself from now on,” she apologized sincerely.

Libra looked over her for a bit.

“It doesn’t seem to be interfering with your work protocol, surprisingly. You still serve customers amiably and efficiently without so much as a complaint. All I ask is that you don’t make this customer feel singled out. The last thing we need is for other customers to feel like this one gets special treatment.”

Robin could have brought up he was a Veteran, but she didn’t want to risk losing her neck. She was smarter than that.

“Yes, Sir.”

“Very well, you’re excused.”

Robin lifted herself from her chair.

“Oh, and can you please lock up this evening?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Oh no, did he make you put in your two weeks?” Gaius asked when he noticed the frown on Robin’s face.

Robin simply shook her head no.

“Ahh, I’m such an idiot,” she groaned. “I can’t believe I let myself get that distracted…”

“Crushes can do that to you, unfortunately,” Sumia sighed as she patted Robin’s back.

Crush… Crush. Crush.

She did feel crushed that she now had to control herself from speaking with him, so that might explain it.

Of course, being the one assigned to lock up meant she was the last one in the café. She had to make sure to check everything before she was even allowed to leave. The profits were tallied and cleared out for the day, the supplies were stored away properly, the dishes were thoroughly cleaned, so on and so forth.

I hope he isn’t cross with me…

A small and cool drop gently touched her nose. And then her shoulders. And then her head.

The rain finally arrived after a week and a half, yet to Robin’s chagrin it was too dark out for her to really enjoy it. She obviously could, but she had work tomorrow as well.

Robin scratched at her wrist vacantly, hoping to grab her umbrella strap in the process. But alas, to no avail. The weatherman predicted that it would rain two days from now, and yet the rain finally arrived now. Probably to sympathize with and overdramatize Robin’s feelings.

She had to improvise, using her apron as a make-shift cover from the increasingly heavier rainfall. It was nowhere near pouring, thankfully, but just enough to bother her if she didn’t cover herself.

Would my dialogue with him even be considered flirting? Robin began to think again. I just think the guy’s really interesting to talk to. And that he’s handsome, but that doesn’t play into this. …Does it? Oh no, what if it does…?

Drops of rain went from landing on Robin’s apron and soaking through to the rest of her to simply noise. She looked up to realize that someone was carrying an umbrella over her head, and then turned to see who was holding it.

“Are you all right, Miss?” The man asked gently.

Robin smiled.

“Now I am, thank you.”

Robin went on to explain Libra’s warning to Priam, to which Priam fully understood. Flirting in the military would’ve warranted quite the punishment, so he was thankful that her boss was kind enough to simply warn her. She joked that Libra made her lock up as an additional punishment.

“I don’t live too far from here,” she began to say. “If you want, you can come over for a cup of hot cocoa before you head out.”

“That sounds lovely, but I wouldn’t want to intrude,” he responded.

“You can take it on the go, then. My treat.”

“Are you certain?”

Robin nodded.

“Then lead the way, Miss Robin.”

She felt like skipping through the rain, much like she would when she had her own umbrella, but she didn’t want to accidentally leave Priam behind. Or get caught in the rain yet again. She couldn’t tell which one of those seemed worse at that point.

As Robin unlocked her apartment door, Priam closed his umbrella and left it near the one at the door. He breathed through his hands to help warm them up as Robin made her way to her small kitchen.

“Reports say it’s going to rain the entire week,” he sighed as he sat down on her couch.

“You think I can get away with walking home with you during that time, then?” She grinned cheekily.

Priam returned the grin back.

“Oh yeah, when are you heading back?”

“Next Tuesday. But we can message each other after and plan to meet when we both have the time.”

“I’d like that.”

She handed Priam his hot cocoa in a thermostat she had left over from work. One that she specifically labeled with her phone number and a “Find me online!” message. He looked a bit worried about this choice, not noticing the label.

“Don’t worry, I have plenty more in here,” she said to ease his worries.

“In that case, I’ll be off,” he sighed with relief. “Thank you once again.”

“Thank you for your service, Sir. And feel free to stop by whenever you have the chance!”

She noticed he left behind a napkin on her coffee table, probably as a make-shift coaster. But as she picked it up, she noticed writing on it.

Can you rank the signs favorite to least favorite and why?

Before anyone gets their panties in a twist and calls me an asshole, this is totally based on my personal experience with people from each sign 1: Capricorn- ahh man I fucking love me some capricorns. They have the chill qualities of being an earth sign but they're also just such interesting people. Something about them is just so charming 2: Pisces- Pisces are literally so compassionate it blows my mind. They put others first to the point that sometimes they neglect self care which is kind of unfortunate but also really admirable 3: Libra- I'm sure all the kids who were voted most likely to go to the moon in high school in the 70s were all libras. They're like, smart not for the sake of superiority but because they're just. Curious about everything. They're the least grounded people I know but all around fantastic. 4: Sagittarius- as a sag myself, I'm a little biased but I love being around other sagittarius'. They have this cheerful energy that draws people in like a magnet. Magnetic is honestly the best way to describe them. They can be a little indecisive and aren't the best romantic partners because they don't understand moderation (or commitment sometimes 😒) but A+ friends 5: Gemini- every Gemini I've ever known has either been a literal spawn of Satan or the kindest person I know. Geminis are just.. a lot, to say the least lol. They're super high energy and tend to do everything to the extreme. 6: Virgo- virgo is kind of a gay sign imo, which I can appreciate. Virgos are usually the people who seem less approachable and a little stand offish but are actually super kind, genuine people. 7: Aries- they're a little too high energy for me personally but definitely have the same magnetic qualities as Sagittarius. They're the people who I maybe wouldn't be best friends with but would sit next to in class to joke around or go to parties with. 8: Leo- They aren't my favorite either but they aren't as bad as their stereotype (again, I think the arrogant Leo thing comes from other signs insecurity), but they also aren't the kind of people I find myself drawn to 9: Scorpio- sign most likely to have anger issues tbh? If you see two high school girls fighting, one or both of them are probably scorpios. But that aside, I think they're secretly kind of awkward lovable weirdos 10: Aquarius- they give me like the opposite vibes as libra. Just about every know it all kid in class I knew growing up was an Aquarius. I definitely admire their willingness to work hard to be good at everything but I can't help but wonder if they do it because it's good for them or if they just want to one up others 11: Taurus- unless their moon sign is fire or air I usually find Taurus' really boring for some reason? Based off of jungkook’s chart, what physical attributes would attract him? I’ve read that he would really like feminine/girly girls bc of his libra venus and rising. Is that true?

Hey there! 💕 Thanks for the ask! 💕

Ahh, personally, unless it came from the artist themselves (and is accurate since some don’t remember their exact time), I don’t usually use rising signs for idol reading since it’s unconfirmed. So for this, I’m going to use his inner placements (Virgo Sun | Leo Moon | Virgo Mercury | Libra Venus | Scorpio Mars ) without the rising, ok? 

Also, I’m going to interpret this as the physical attribute he would be drawn to for romantic candidates, not just for sexual relationships. 

Note: This is just my interpretation of his chart. It’s not a definite telling of what he likes, every interpretation is different so you can choose what you think fits most!

I outlined this already, but the mind matters more for JK. So basing this on the last few paragraphs of  JK: Ideal type , I think in terms of detailing the physical attributes he’d be attracted to: it would come down to core strength and consistency ( the kind of beauty that means someone is trying to take care of themselves whether they have time to or not)

You know like, people who exude more Virgo-healer/care-giver type vibe? Not the self-deprecation, not the stressfulness of the Virgo. But someone who embodies what Virgo is, at it’s best. The what could-be’s of actual Virgo in full developed stages. That’s something inspirational for him to draw from. So someone who might have a lot of Capricorn/Taurus in their chart who exhibits the ‘absent’ Virgo because of their overall placements might have that. 

(It’s because his Virgo Sun/Merc | Libra Venus is also kind of half-in love with the idea of someone who takes care of themselves, and is considered healthier than them as well.) 

The ‘busy-bodiness’ of the person appeals to him, it’s the type of fire-sign energy (or Cardinal energy). Someone who’s not afraid to do stuff or instigate something (Leo Moon). But also someone who works well in group settings (Libra Venus) and is a team player. 

It’s mostly to do with his temperament (Leo Moon) being able to keep up with the person’s activities (doesn’t feel drain or dragged) but also admiring them for being proficient in the things he values (social relations and being adequate in them - Virgo Sun/Merc)   

Think about it, JK cares about his team members. So someone who can work with people is important to him. If they share the same values, they have something in common to respect in each other (Virgo Sun-Merc/Leo Moon - respect is important)

Someone who fights passionately for what they believe in (strong Mercury) and isn’t afraid to speak their minds in regards to others. (help others: Leo/Pisces) Someone who might often find themselves fighting for a humanitarian cause (Aquarius) and works hard for their job (Capricorn), but isn’t dismissive to him about it (like, cares about him but also have their own work to do - Sagittarius). 

He respect someone who seems like they’ll put effort into relationships with others/treats others fairly. (Libra) He wants someone who has some grounding placement in them (Virgo) and caring enough to acknowledge him in passing if they meet (Leo).  

He mentioned his ideal ‘height requirement’ before? That’s probably more indicative of his taste, since he says so himself. 

The whole height thing might have more to do with the person not looking like they’re physically weak. Therefore not being helpless when he’s not around to ‘guard’ or ‘protect’ them. Someone with a smaller height might probably appeal to the ‘must protect’ instinct in people. It’s about presence, but also dependability you feel when you’re around someone close to/towers above you. 

If he has to feel like he’s constantly worried about his partner, then it’s not a balanced relationship to him. If his partner is tiny, then he might feel obligated to think he has to take care of them. And when he’s taking care of them, it feels like he doesn’t have the time or freedom to do what he wants/his job/hang out with others. Thus as outlined above, someone caring but independent and a reliability about them. 

He feels like if the other person can take care of themselves, then he won’t have to worry about leaving them alone.  I don’t think he’d actively look for someone of the petite/frail, but someone who looks like they can pull their own weight in places. Presence, in social domain. Someone who’s not to be messed with even if they’re on the smaller side of things. He did say he looks for someone who seems like they’re healthy. Healthy here might be physically and mentally at the same time. (inner and outer strength - core strength) 

It’s not about feminine/girly-girls, if you think about it JK is a bit of a nervous wreck and kind of needs time to open up to someone (girl or otherwise). Someone who kind of acts a certain way and expects him to take initiative? 

That Virgo/Libra wouldn’t make the first move in a million years. His Leo Moon would like the attention sure, the bravado and expectation of playing the gender role of a classical romance is appealing. But the actuality of it with his overall chart? Less likely than you think! 

Personally, he’s way too anxious to approach someone. Especially romantically. Unless he’s caught respect for them on first impression (Virgo Mercury) he’s going to be intensely critical of the person until he’s convinced himself he doesn’t like them. If he does actually like someone (see: admire them for a period of time) he’ll go into observation mode. It’s like a safari with him. He’s fascinated by the lion but he doesn’t want to approach the lion just yet. He has to gather everything (Virgo) before he can make his move.(Libra)  

So the feminine girly-girls? likely idea, but maybe not thought through to applicability. If you look at it from his perspective, what he can do and what he wants to do sometimes doesn’t align. To a Leo Moon, that kind of embarrassment just isn’t going to be worth it for him. (examples: summer package yoonkook introduction, as well as run ep.56 where he gets nervous just saying his poems to his hyungs.) Whether he pursues them in public or private, putting himself out there isn’t going to be his forte.   

So what are the alternatives: 

I think he’d go for more of the next-door-effortlessly-beautiful type? Au natural, but the focus here is more on their hard-working nature. 

Maybe sometimes, the person is consumed by larger things in life that they don’t tend to focus on the vanity side of things (which he can help them balance it out due to Libra Venus). 

The person can forget about their appearance sometimes, but they take care of themselves. The person is consistently healthy, and has a good skin texture because they eat well. (Which his Virgo will place importance on– it’s weird, but it’s a sensory thing as well as a core value thing.)

The person isn’t so self-conscious, but they’re more confident in themselves and their work. Their beauty can be understated, as long as they don’t have extremely-lowered self-esteem issues, or let vanity get to their head. He can help with that (Leo/Libra), but he needs to know the person not using him for it (put in work on their own part, transparency, treats him fairly.) 

The person have to be pure-hearted, in terms of their intensions with him (Virgo/Leo/Libra makes this very clear that it’s important). They have to stay consistent that way throughout the entirety of their relationship (before and after getting together).  

Someone who’s un-intimidating to approach, that he feels can meets him halfway (Libra Venus). Someone who’s kind of laid back and approachable, isn’t perfect and has small imperfections he can help with. Sees things as a collaborative effort on both parties to help each other out. 

Someone who might be more likely to initiate things, he’d want to learn how to be more socially out-going/helpful. While he wants to help them grow as a person as well (whatever they need - Virgo Sun/Mercury ‘serving’). This way, it feels like an effort on both their part (Libra - fairness). So yeah, someone who doesn’t necessarily have to be a full on feminine/girl-girl. But can just take care of themselves.
