She uses them mostly to keep in contact with Staff whenever Jellybean doesn't feel like being the Messenger Fox (which is often - they're a lazy little thing). On very, very rare occasions, if Bee is, oh, dating someone or thinks they're dating material, Bee will send her beetles out to these people, as they're capable of handling heavier notes than the flies, they don't tend to swarm like the locusts, and some of them aren't as dangerous as the wasps! ]

I'm curious what does the word count mean in your writing?

When I post a wordcount, it's mostly 'This is how much I added that's new to a WiP/across WiP's'.

I have terrible ADHD brain, and so to keep myself motivated I have to guilt-trip it. I can let myself down no problem. I have this annoying people-pleasing habit though. If I post a wordcount, it tells brain that 'People know that you did something, they are counting on more'.

Personally, I know majority of the other writers on this hellsite are going 'Just do what you can and don't push yourself' (me included to others), but brain is stupid and has this annoying habit of not caring what I know/think. Anxiety portion of brain does it's own thing and gets grumpy yelling at ADHD brain for not writing (it's a double edged sword that I dance along the edge of lol).

Most times I try adding to longfic because spite brain is determined to finish what I started (I am terrible at dropping projects started during mania episodes...and that's exactly how first few chapters of longfic came to be posted vs just sitting abandoned in my docs). I count any writing that goes towards a WiP (because sometimes I change my mind about 'abandoned' WiP's) as progress. The only writing I don't count is anything for my RP blog, answering asks, inbox memes, etc. It has to go towards a WiP of some sort for me to count it as 'Writing Progress'. This sometimes includes writing down a detailed outline for a potential future fic (I have several that I want to work on, but I they are going to be longfic in length and I don't have the brainpower to work on multiple longfics).

OOC. Bakura I'd say is cold. But he himself doesn't feel it as he's a ghost. He's aware that his body (Ryou's body) needs things like food and warmth but while he's in control he's able to suppress those until he switches over.
