If there's anything I've felt about ace attorney since playing through the original trilogy, it's how cheated I've felt about the fandom interpretation of it. Y'all were so caught up with your gay boys and your Miles Edgeworths I didn't realize how much of this game was about WOMEN. THE CORE OF ACE ATTORNEY IS IN ITS FEMALE CHARACTERS. From Mia jumpstarting Phoenix and guiding him throughout the whole trilogy even after her death, her presence being the primary connecter of Phoenix and Maya, Maya and Godot, heck even Dahlia and Iris and the whole lot of them. From Franziska's earnest faith and consolation of Miles Edgeworth, even begrudgingly, pulling him out the trauma of his childhood with the face to face confrontation of a bullet wound in the same spot as the man who killed his father. Lana and Ema dragging Phoenix back into the thing he does best. Lana and Ema who's tragic story lies in a pair of sisters ruined by the heinous law system and their unconditional love for each other. Dahlia and Iris with a different version of sisterly tragedy, struggling through generational trauma in separate settings and support systems. The matter of the Fey tradition looming over the entire narrative and all the legal and social terror that comes with it. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE ACE ATTORNEY WOMEN.

Okay I'm thinking about it for the first time in a while and I MISS ANIMAL JAM SO MUCH. I miss decorating my dens and dressing up my animals and the actually unironically incredible music and Sky High and Overflow and spinny boi flash mobs and dancing and screaming "trade me" in Jamaa Township and the valentine delivery adventure and the angsty Greely fans and Warrior Cats roleplayers and Julian2 and Appari and Wisteriamoon and painting masterpieces and the den art galleries and trading parties and the tower adventure and the light puzzles that in hindsight were totally based on Portal 2. I miss the magenta glitch in the corner of the colour grid and the secret room in the Lost Temple and Sylvester and Sebastian the furry hats and that one horse topiary scandal and the green circle beam that would come up with that one sound when you switched animals, and saving up tickets for the summer carnival and the gecko song and the secret recipe rainbow potion and the phantom cotton candy and hot chocolate and jumping on the bridge or the ice to try and make them crumble away and the birds that would show up when you got enough people. I miss the scavenger hunt book and collecting plushies from the claw machine and arranging them on my giant slide in the sky kingdom den and the AJMVs on YouTube and getting adopted in the pillow room and AJHQ's funny alligator and Brady Barr and going down the waterslides at Crystal Sands and constantly reloading the page trying to get into Aldan and turning spikes into their own awful form of currency and how the octopus would dance ballet with its tentacles and putting sunglasses on arctic wolves and the daily spin and and and and and

hey animal jam players so a weird thing happened. i got an email saying one of my (alt) accounts got banned for "inappropriate behavior" despite me not being on that account for a long while. it's PERMANENTLY banned by the way. i've tried to search for others who may have experienced this same thing online, and its possible thats the case? but i can't look into it further because the search results are giving me reddit links, and the animal jam subreddit is locked so. so if possible could anyone tell me what the hell this means, anyone else has experienced this???
