I got bored and made this! It's a mashup of the final version of The Mind Electric and the Demo 4 version!

"See how I laugh at you.." and the scream is from Demo 4, everything else is from the official version

Tw for loud noise/scream and just..general discomfort I guess? TME is by design an unnerving song.

no i will never ever shut up about the mind electric. it is truly the Song of All Time it is a masterpiece it is used as a tool to bring fandoms together it is our one common ground. it is a beautifully haunting melody it is a tortured wail of agony and by lord almighty did Joe Hawley pour his heart and soul into it. it has seen countless remixes and yet can never truly be tarnished there is always more to dissect it is horrifying in its existence it is the very act of losing your mind and crying out for help to no avail. it is the world falling apart around you as everything flashes before your eyes backwards it is just vague enough to be victim to countless theories across the internet but there is one thing that cannot be denied:

it makes you confront the horrifying fate of losing yourself while being just lucid enough to know it to be completely and utterly helpless in your own mind

i may be overhyping it just a tad but the mind electric by miracle musical is such a raw and visceral song that burns itself into my brain. and it is Never Ever going to let go of me

I’ve had this idea in mind for a while but was holding off on making it until AAPI month since I thought it’d be a nice tribute to the beauty of Hawaii. That being said I don’t really have any more H:PII related art ideas right now & my brain’s not in peak hyperfixation mode so this will probably be my last big H:PII art post for a while. Anyways we love you Poppy you’re doing great sweetheart

going on a rant about 宇宙ステーションレベル7

I will argue to the end of time that this is one of the most important songs on this album it really helps if you're trying to understand dream sweet in sea major

it also lets you know that the entire album is connected in the French bridge at the end of the song it says you live forever tonight which is the last line in introduction to the snow but the first part of the French bridge is also repeated in Dream sweet in sea major so it kind of connects the entire album if you really think about it since it's the middle song

"the Mind electric is the climactic midpoint🥺🥺" uhh no the fuck it is not? it's literally space station level 7 it's in the middle

it's just so underappreciated

Also I think that the song is about Stella not wanting to go to heaven but this sychopomp is kind of ushering/forcing her along to go to heaven and at the end we learn that time itself made up Heaven just so it can punish Simon and Stella for blasphemy

makes absolutely no sense but I pwomise it will when I make my full Hawaii part I I post🥺👉👈
