Howdy anon, thank you for your ask! :) In the Chapter 8 premium, MC and Albert are greeting the Nobles that have come to attend the party. MC begins to get tired, and heads out to the balcony to take a breather. As she begins to ponder on how difficult being Nobility is, Rex shows up to her surprise. She finds out he was invited by Albert as part of his plan to announce he will be guarding both MC and Shu in front of the both the Ministry and opposing Noble houses. Rex thanks Albert for inviting him to the party, and upon Albert and MC's leave, Rex remarks how Albert looks like he's enjoying himself.
