rdr2 writers: here's albert mason, a man who is very obviously supposed to represent arthur and what arthur's life could have been if he'd been brought up under different circumstances and by different people. he likes nature like arthur and portrays it through an artistic medium like arthur, but lacks the knowledge of all its dangers, unlike arthur who has learned about it the hard way. he's also very self-depricating, much like arthur, and, to make it even more obvious, they even have the same initials.

replaying rdr2 bc my first playthrough i pretty much ONLY did the main story and barely any stranger missions. anyways just did the mission where you meet the weird ahh artist dude at the gallery and i saw all of albert mason's photos displayed like hello???? that's fucking adorable. he definitely had a little crush on arthur (who wouldn't)
