The ‘Knife Angel’ Statue Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Completed in 2018, the structure of the angel stands at 27 ft (8.2 m) tall. The sculpture was created by artist Alfie Bradley with 100,000 knives that were seized by police in order to highlight knife crime in the United Kingdom and educate young people on the harmful effect violent behaviour can have on their communities.

FANKIDS APPRECIATION WEEK, DAY 6: FOOTBALL TEAM

ATTICUS, DAPHNE, and MATTHIAS DEMIURGOS-KENNEDY are the children of Minerva Kennedy and Adonis Demiurgos (@endlessly-cursed), while AURELIA, CECILIA, and ALFIE KENNEDY are the children of Edmund Kennedy and Lottie Gallagher (@slytherindisaster). These six Kennedy cousins are not always the closest as Atticus and Daphne are at least seven years older than their brother, Matthias, and their three cousins. However, they’ve grown up in a close family and have often spent weeks during the summer at Whitethorn Hall together.

Alfie in France?

Oh Lord… Lads, I- Well, ye ken…

I DID A THING.

So my upcoming Modern AU with tattoo artist!Alfie, yeah? Originally, I planned to give it two ‘sequels’ (basically short stories in chronological order, one set in Amsterdam & the other in Utrecht). That was supposed to be it, but no.

Oh, no, no, no, lads.

Now also there’s this:

A HOLIDAY IN FRANCE AND VISITING A LOCAL MARKET WITH ALFIE😻

Two things that are already set in stone:

It’s set in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

Alfie speaks French (which is throwing me for a loop parce que mon français est rouillé, vraiment rouillé, même si j’ai étudié la langue pendant six ans).

(Kudos to those who know what I just said. Also, yes, I do speak French… a petit peu, mais, comme j’ai dit, ce n’est pas sans effort.)

I swear, at this point, I’m afraid this whole ‘wee project’ might turn into a novel. But let’s first just see how these three things go and see from there.
