No but Love And/Or Marriage is so fucking funny and no one ever talks about it like??? Diane saying "I'm sorry, Shithole". Emily's insistence that it's a rehearsal dinner when everyone else is treating it like it's a wedding. Mr Peanutbutter watching Bones for the sole reason of getting excited whenever anyone mentions bones. Dave Franco does fantasy molly with Alison Brie but Alison Brie has to leave him for her husband of 2 years because they're not even married here. Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Peter Knight take a huge shit on everyone who has ever tried to justify "ironic enjoyment" of a piece of fiction. The Snatch Batch are all very respectable individuals and genuinely appreciate Diane's company. Diane says fuck.
For some reason, I started this series from the very last book. Most of all, this book had a couple of things I really like - letters, omg, it is my soft spot, please, recommend me more of such books if you know any. I also liked the character of Beatrix - she was complex, had her interest, goals and principles, and she stood by them. I can only admire people with such a strong sense of empathy to everything living. Especially, to historical romances, one can rarely meet characters without a superior attitude to animals. A breath of fresh air (even though, it may be not 200 parent historically accurate, but who cares, history is partly a fantasy, no?)

"I am cross with Christopher," Beatrix told Amelia in the afternoon, as they strolled arm in arm along the graveled paths behind Ramsay House. "And before I tell you about it, I want to make it clear that there is only one reasonable side of the issue. Mine."
"Oh, bother," Amelia said sympathetically. "Husbands do make one cross at times. Tell me your side, and I will agree completely.”

“Amelia smiled at her fondly. "No marriage stays in the same pattern forever. It is both the best feature of marriage and the worst, that it inevitably changes. Wait for your chance, dear. I promise it will come."”

I want to continue my watch of horror movies with Community actors today and I'm debating between a horror movie Joel McHale is in that I found out about yesterday and that seems pretty fun. Or the movie Alison Brie is in that I've been low-key avoiding bc it seems boring even though I still want to see it
