S2:V07-PETIT PARADISI
A leverless fighting game controller using the S2 ENGINE custom layout I've been refining. Combination of a WASD and Hitbox style layout, with the final column moved to thumb buttons, and two 30mm buttons at the pinky positions.
The front has a peg for guitar straps, and the strap lock can be used to hold cables. A latch lets you easily access the internals and extra storage. The left and right 30mm buttons can be swapped out for an analog stick using an Adafruit breakout board. Two headphone jacks on the side can be used to attached extra inputs, such as a foot pedal.

Something something every time Charlie isn’t fighting to be the center of attention, he is always looking around to others to gauge their reactions and silently observing them all something something he is searching for connection, to fit in and be loved but he doesn’t know how to ask for love so instead he gains their attention by acting out in ways he knows they’ll notice and tries to pretend their attention and love are the same thing
#Charlie knows how to push people’s buttons just right to make them pay attention to him because he’s always observing them first; like he’s#not as reckless as we all think he is; he’s fairly smart and also#like Charlie seems so emotionally intelligent in the way he can gauge most peoples reactions from observing them and I think that’s why he#liked keating because keating didn’t act the way he expected and so it was amusing and enthralling to see someone he couldn’t clock#keating would do weird things and Charlie would watch in amusement and he would try to push Keatings buttons in the ways that would make#other teachers upset but they all just slid off Keatings back without him getting upset so Charlie had to try harder but keating seemed to#praise him so Charlie actually started getting what he was craving and so he tried to do something big for keating only to be confused when#keating didn’t like what he did; but then Keating still gave that unconditional support even tho Charlie didn’t get the right action and I#think that’s at the root of their relationship like you can’t have the keating and Charlie dynamic without Charlie being smart#charlie dalton#dps#dead poets society#dps fandom#dps symposium#dead poets fandom#like it’s so interesting to watch him in scenes not about him cause it feels like he is such a more dynamic and complex character when you#do cause we all say he doesn’t know how to be quiet but so often he is silently in the background watch and observing like the walking#scene is a good example and idk I just feel like Charlie is silent and observing more than we think he is we just don’t realize cause he is#so loud in his other moments we take those as him#and ignore him otherwise which feels like exactly what he wants because he wants to connect with people but he wants it to be on his terms#because he spent so long manipulating people’s perception of him that to be vulnerable or not in control makes him scared and he can have#this front he puts on criticized and made fun of because it’s not the real him but if the real him was ever rejected I don’t know if he#could handle it and I think he knows that; idk I just think we need to give Charlie more credit than we are giving him cause hes so complex

I am headcanoning Mhin's monster transformation as being related to their emotions (as in: transformation can be triggered by very strong emotions) SO HARD lately.
It would add an extra layer to Vere constantly trying to piss them off that just ⋆˗ˋˏ Makes Sense ˎˊ˗⋆ to me.
Vere is intrigued by the MC, describing them as "not quite human, not quite monster".
Is it safe to assume that Vere felt similarly intrigued by Mhin? That he picked up on that, smelled it on Mhin when they first met, only to have Mhin stab him on sight? And now Vere is constantly pushing at their raw nerves to try and get a Monstrous reaction out of Mhin... It would add an extra layer to their dynamic that I love to consider.
Alternate theory: The transformation is more werewolf-esque and it's related to something that can be astronomically observed. & that's how Mhin started up their stargazing hobby?? But it's kinda cuter if they just enjoy that for it's own sake, amiright?
P.S. if ur wondering how Vere knows about the emotions trigger he knows bc he can Do That Thing

Just finished Arkham City and god that game is absolutely fantastic I’m thriving
#the characterization is INCREDIBLE#my fav outfit is Talia’s bc you can pinpoint EXACTLY the beauty standard era of the late 2000s they were going for#the plot is fun the gameplay is super fun#i played the game to get used to controller bc a wonderful friend of mine gifted me their old ps4#I’m not the greatest. I need to work on button mashing#but I’ve gotten the hang of it I think!#man I’m so enthused man#I’ll do Arkham Origins and then I might come back and find all the riddler trophies for gits and shiggles

I have such mad respect for people who can grind Path of Terra farming in Star Stable. How do you do it??? It's so absolutely mind numbing. There is nothing enjoyable about it, it's just excessively tedious (and clunky) repetitious clicking
Anything requiring precision clicking in SSO is gonna be clunky, so a whole mechanic that is just that? For like 20-30 minutes harvesting and replanting an entire garden? Awful. Miserable. Wretched. I don't know how some of you guys have the patience and I am in awe of you.

playing skyward sword HD in handheld mode feels so cursed but so right
#f you (handhelds your console game)#dude it's just reminding me how big and chunky the switch is in handheld mode#and the switch 2 is supposed to be even bigger?? crazy#I CAN play it in console mode if the tv is available I was just bored#the text is so small…#random stuff#I have complicated feelings about skyward sword. I like it fine but boy#I think its biggest weakness is slow backtracking and repetition. and wonky button mapping#(some of the controls were fixed in HD but some are newly wonky)#imo all of the areas feel like platforming-esque obstacle courses compared to earlier games#since I've been replaying all the games in order of release#but I'm just glad the game properly takes up the whole screen now rather than having black bars lol#please place your wiimote face down…#(center noises)

guys, youtube is starting to be harder on the adblocking rules, so we should definitely follow them.
just so you know what rules not to break, chrome has hidden ublock origin because it updates around all of youtube attempts to block adblockers (slimy bugger), definitely DO NOT use the inspect element tool, use Ctrl + F to find "disabled aria-describedbody", and and DO NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES change it to "enabled". this will allow you to install the extension like it was never hidden by chrome. this is very bad guys, don't do this. you'll have ublock origin back, and youtube doesn't want that because it stops youtube from making ad money. so come on, DONT install ublock origin, watch all 15 unskippable sexually inappropriate ads marketed towards children in your 4 minute video, come on. don't break youtubes rules guys.
also, youtube has been cracking down on removing quality of life features, as we all know, they know best, and their decisions are flawless. so DONT get the extension that re-impliments the youtube dislike. youtube removed it for a reason guys, come on.

2010 Australian Grand Prix - Jenson Button(ft. Robert Kubica & Felipe Massa)
#this was genuinely a race of attrition in the back. 10/24 cars dnfed and i think all but 2 were technical problems#this was a really exciting race tbh i really had no clue what the podium would be#its weird cause i knew seb mark and nando didnt win it but i was so confused how they were gonna lose it? and then it was like OH JENSE OFC#jense was incredible in this race ah what a comeback#everyone thought he made a huge mistake switching to slicks so early on and then it turned out he was the strat goat#and it makes it better cause it wasnt even a call from the team! it was literally his call!!#as we all know hes a god in the wet and it was so admirable and brave of him to make such a bold call for himself and have it work out#the way he has such dominance and performance in wet races(ex canada 2011) is forever so impressive and cool to me#also!!! this race really proves to me why rly i like 2010. really close racing BUT ALSO:#its so sick that both nando and jense won their first/second race with their new team against their teammates who have been there longer#like to have both of them win with the same prestige is so satisying and emotional for me#and god i got flashbacks to aus 2009 seeing him standing on the car. its cool he won melbourne back to back#but also. this post race honestly sucked. bad tv direction bad lighting(not in their control tbf) i felt like they showed nothing well ah :#tho my fav gif is where felipe is standing on his tippy toes and jense bends down sjakjf#jenson button#robert kubica#felipe massa#f1#formula 1#2010 australian gp#we do a little bit of f1
