the thing about kon's relationships is that, despite how much posturing he does about being a flirt and a ladies' man, he has only ever had three (3) relationships, two of which were with adult women who groomed and preyed on him, and the third was with a closeted lesbian who mistook her gender envy as attraction to him.

(to cassie, kon is literally the boy from the posters on her bedroom wall. she sets up that crush before she ever meets him, and by the time the two of them get together, he's already got the idea that relationships = a woman gives him a box to fit into and he does his very best to stay in it so he can prove he's good enough for her. this isn't cassie's fault by any means, but like, it's no wonder they break up and both immediately seem relieved about it, yknow?)

Yo aros... what are you guys’s shipping habits? I feel like cuz of our aromanticism, we might ship things differently than allo people (or not! i don’t know). Personally, I’m pretty neutral on 90% of ships, with my opinion ranging from “ehhh not for me” to “neat.” Out of all the fandoms I've been in over the years, I only have one ship I could call my OTP, and that’s because I basically got to make them OCs because there's hardly any canon to them.99% of the time when I look at a fandom tag it’s for posts actually about the thing and not just shipping and x reader fics, so it really annoys me when it shows up a lot. aka ATSV FANS PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT HOW HOT MIGUEL O’HARA IS I SWEAR TO GOD*—I get it. He’s hot. Objectively. But please can we talk about the movie in general for once??? No??? Okay then.

Buck’s phone rings, and he pulls it out of his pocket, his hands shaking when he reads Bobby’s contact name. He answers before he can even register it. “Pops?” His voice is quiet and terrified.

Hearing footsteps from his spot on the couch, Buck tenses as Nathan comes up the stairs. It’s been so long, but Buck can still recognize the man’s footfalls. He lets out a breath he’d been subconsciously holding when Nathan finally appears and moves towards one of the armchairs across from him instead of the couch.

“Jurassic Park!” Chris yells, and Buck has to cover his ears against the sound, the kid’s excitement causing him to be louder than usual. “Please, Dad, I know it’s kind of scary, but they just put it back on Netflix, and I’ve seen it before! Plus, I’m ten now, I won’t have nightmares!”

Eddie glares at Chim when he insists on playing with the station’s small Hildy gadget that they keep in the kitchen. They mostly use it to play music, but Chimney takes the opportunity to ask her a bunch of questions throughout the day and only stops when Eddie threatens to run her over with a fire truck after Chimney starts asking her questions about the 118 themselves.
