when i visit my grandma, she lives in a house and has a relatively big garden, i always happen to wear clothes that would seem unfit for like, helping out gardening or like shoveling or trimming tree branches etc. like i wear skirts and tank tops, totally good (and usually my favorite) pieces that i put on when i go out.

and the feeling i get while doing garden work in clothes like that..... like yeah even if i get them dirty or ripped – clothes are meant to get dirty, meant to get ripped and then mended. plus i feel very sexy in delicate outfits and wearing some thick gloves so i could lift up this piece of wood to move it elsewhere.... idk...

I do wonder if Crowley's optimism is actually optimism. If it weren't 4 a.m., I'd do a philosophical deep dive, but since it is, I'll just try to string some thoughts together.

At the core of Crowley's questioning stands, "What is the point of it all?"—it's what he wonders as Starmaker and what he defeatedly asks Shax at the beginning of season 2. It strikes me as a very specific flavour of trauma-related existential dread reinforced by his fall and the concept of the ineffable plan.

The thing is that Crowley already knows the answer to that question; it's just not a satisfying one. Because what is the point of it all? of us? of our lives? of all the suffering and the good and the bad and, well, everything?

There is no point. It's a fact you need to come to terms with rather quickly if you grow up traumatized, otherwise, you will break. There was no point in Crowley falling, just as there's no point in anything he or Aziraphale did over the last few millennia—they just are.

It's why any meta questions focusing on God won't get anywhere, there is no answer God would ever offer us or them; there is no answer that matters, period. Maybe God has one, maybe they don't, but it has zero effect on the story or what happens to them. It's terrifying, in a way, to think about it like this, because if there's no point to any aspect of our lives, why bother? Why bother when there are so many horrible things that could happen?

And THAT is where we come all the way back around to Crowley's optimism. He has long accepted the lack of answers (though I can tell you from personal experience that you never really stop asking anyway), but he needs to find a way to live with the world as it is.

'Everything's going to be fine sooner or later' isn't optimism; it's what you need to tell yourself to not jump in front of the next train.

Crowley's optimism is dreams. Dreams of him and Aziraphale being happy and together, dreams of their cottage in the south downs, dreams of heaven and hell never touching them again.

Dreams of life turning out to be better than what he is currently living.

From the outside, it can certainly look like optimism, but I see him, I am him, and I can guarantee you that it's not. It's a tiny pinprick of light in an otherwise dark sky that may or may not be actually there, but if you stop telling yourself that it exists, there's nothing left but darkness. You're afraid of the dark and its teeth because you have been bitten by them before.

So you keep repeating it over and over and over, and maybe one day it will no longer be a lie or you will be the light, but for now this is what you got.

It is also the reason why Crowley is going to be a wreck in season 3. Finally, he thought, we can be together and happy, and in love without being afraid. He reached for the pinprick of light, thinking it to be a star, and got ripped apart by sharpened teeth instead. Crowley needs that lie, and he just got completely disillusioned.

What's the point when, after everything, Aziraphale still leaves him?

No matter how much they love each other, Crowley needs to find an answer to that question within himself, not in Aziraphale or anyone else.

1) Delvaux for everyday wear ( fun fact they are the oldest luxury brand in the world! followed closely by Hermes and Loewe)

But I also collect 2000’s Miu Miu purses, they are much more fun and youthful than the bags they produce now!

2) this includes vintage right? so I would chose Miuccia Prada( that covers Miu Miu and Prada after she took over) all the vintage nylon pieces, Prada sport and 2000’s Miu Miu.

3) I prefer natural fibers.

4) I couldn’t choose ever? But probably something early Margiela, the show that he introduced the tabbies. He put wet paint on the bottom of the shoes to walk on a solid white runway and leave behind the split toe print on the cat walk. Iconic moment. He was a great mind.

5) Depop the most, but I use all the resale apps, and I thrift in every city/country I go to.

6) I hate jeans and always have haha. They are uncomfortable and they ruin the outfit. I recently found these capris on Depop with bleached prints on them. They are flattering and girly. Here’s a pic:

Kogal Gyaru A street fashion very influenced by 80's - Y2k fashion in the west. This fashion involves bright tans, blonde hair, and doll-like eyes. This specific substyles of Gyaru is extremely common with teens in Japan as it allows them to wear Gyaru but still wear their uniforms. There are many more exaggerated form of Gyaru like Agejo, Tropical Gyaru, and Hime. This style is most commonly known for being the exact opposite to Japanese beauty standards at the time.

Sweet Lollita

A Japanese street fashion most commonly associated with Rococo and Victorian clothing. Its most well known for its very lacy and ruffled trims and extremely ornate patterns (usually ranging from sweets to cute animals). Also, please note that the fashion has no association with the novel of the same name and the same name is merely a coincidence. Other substyles of Lollita includes, from goth to punk to the very ornate Hime Lollita. This fashion style is all about the desexualization of femininity and appealing to your inner fancy princess.

Visual Kei Visual Kei or V-Kei is most well known for its music because of their association and similarities to western goth music. Visual Kei is actually referred to as a branch of the umbrella term "Goth" and its most popular influences are bands like Malice Mizer and Dadaroma. Visual Kei, like Gyaru, has seen a boom in popularity because of the comebacks of 2000's fashion and the acceptance of alternative styles. Visual Kei is most noticeable by the multiple black layers along side dramatic hairstyles and makeup. The most popular substyles of V-Kei are Eroguro-Kei, Tanbi Kei, and Angura Kei. This style is all about visual dramaticism, hence the name, and creative expression.

Decora-Kei

Decora fashion is most well known for its visually bright and very colored style. This style involves kid-like fashion but times ten. Most Decora wear extremely bright or bold colors and eye catching clothing and multiple accessories. Many Decora's describe themselves as "Straight out of a Lisa Frank coloring book" and they show that influence in their extremely bold and flashy style. Decora's generally wear bright tennis shoes or platforms with multiple pieces of jewelry and hairpieces. Common themes are kid's shows, hello kitty, and rainbows. This style is meant to appeal to appeal to your inner child and be as eye catching as possible.

Menhera (Trigger Warning for mentions of Self-harm, suicide, mental illness, and general gore themes.)

Menhera is mostly well known for its art work and media that slowly influenced into a fashion type. Menhera's are usually wear medical related things like bandages, pill themes, and paying a bit of homage to nurse or school girl uniforms. This style is usually colored with hot pinks, pastel colors, white, and lavender. The most noticeable part of this fashion is the implications of self-harm with bandages on the wrists and thighs and a boxcutter; this is seen a lot on a popular character named Menhera Chan. This style's purpose is to bring awareness to mental health and the importance of it because of Japan's high suicide rate.

Mori Kei

Mori Kei is a street fashion centered around cottage living and as if living in a forest. Mori Kei consists of blouses, green ruffled skirts, and general "nature-like" fashion. This style is most commonly associated with "Cottage-Core", which is a western subtype of this fashion as Mori Kei really took off in 2009 while Cottage-Core became popular in mostly the 2020's. Mori Kei focuses on naturality, like a lack of overly expressive makeup and more toned down clothing that less visually eye-catching but no less beautiful. Mori Kei is also centered around hobbies from sewing, to reading, to even photography.

Sukeban

A Japanese style that got incredibly popular in the 70's when a movement started to stop the overly strict school systems for women. Girls began to do the same as males, sitting "unladylike" and making ugly faces in pictures, and began to intimidate teachers. These women first began changing their uniforms, making them longer and wearing unauthorized accessories, as a form of protest. This style was very looked down upon and still is today because of its association with gangs and violence. However, this style has slowly but surely grown in popularity due to social media, manga, and a popular Japanese movie called Sukeban Deka. This style is centered around the empowerment of women and to fight back against social and gender norms.

I've had this draft sitting around for a few months, but Marisha saying Laudna wants a "simple cottage core lesbian life" with Imogen in the lasted 4 Sided Dive made me want to go back and polish this up a bit!! For context, my partner asked me to write something small and imodna related with the word "baking" as a prompt. Just a quick writing exercise as a break from dissertation work. So I came up with this!!

"Okay one egg or two?"

"Two. And remember to add them in with the rest of the wet ingredients, not with the dry."

"You're supposed to separate- shit."

Imogen looked at the mess of ingredients, cooking utensils, and mixing bowls sprawled out on the counter in front of her. She didn't think learning this particular recipe would be walk in the park, per se. But she certainly didn't expect... well this - standing here with Laudna in their little cottage kitchen with the remnants of three (soon to be four) attempts at making a passable cookie batter splattered across various surfaces. "Start me off with somethin' easy," she had said when agreeing to baking lessons earlier in the day, "you really liked those cookies that Lord Eshertoss would bake for us, right? We can start with those." She let out a sigh at the memory.

Laudna now stood behind Imogen, peering over her shoulder at her... creation.

"Oh, you might be able to- hmmm." Laudna said as she tested the batter's flavor with her pinky. Suddenly, her eyes went wide as *something* seemed to hit her. Imogen cringed slightly as she awaited the verdict.

"Imogen, darling, you did add two *teaspoons* of vanilla, not tablespoons, correct?"

"Is there a difference?"

"A bit of one, yes," Laudna said with a low chuckle.

"Sorry Laudna," Imogen sighed. She moved to rub her eyes before quickly realizing her damn hands - just like everything else in the kitchen, really - were coated in that sad excuse for a cookie batter. She frustratedly began Prestidigitationing them clean before pinching the bridge of her nose in an attempt to quell an oncoming headache. Before she could get too anxious about the prospect of starting over *one more fucking time*, she felt thin arms wrap around her from behind.

"Imogen, darling, it's alright," Laudna hummed, "I always felt Eshteross was too, well, *extravagant* with his recipe writing. It can make it hard to follow at times." Laudna gestured with one of her hands wildly to emphasize the point in a way that Imogen couldn't help but smile at. "Honestly, do we really need to know what he was eating for breakfast or what life lessons his mother taught him as a child right before telling us to brown the butter?"

"You criticizin' his recipe writing, Laudna?" Imogen asked, already feeling the tension behind her eyes melting away.

"Well, yes, but I don't think he's open to any feedback at the moment."

Imogen let out a small gasp before turning her head to meet Laudna's eyes. "Laudna!" Imogen gave her a stern look in an attempt at mock consternation, but quickly relented into a fond gaze as soon as she caught sight of the way Laudna was leaning her head onto Imogen's shoulder.

"Well all I'm saying is, I love a good set of flowery prose, but there's a time and place. And a recipe certainly isn't the place! Besides, I've always said you were *very* capable. If it's giving you trouble, the recipe is obviously worded poorly!"

Imogen laughed more fully this time. Gods, Laudna could make her feel better about anything, even if it meant defending her honor and recipe following abilities to a dead man. She took a deep breath, taking in the subtle, earthy smell of fallen leaves to help ground her. She opened her eyes to Laudna's warm grin before planting a soft kiss on her lips.

"Thanks baby. Alright, one more time from the top okay with you?"

"Of course darling, just remind me to pick up more eggs from the market tomorrow. We may need to... restock soon."

Sharing my personal head-canon for my Romanoff-Maximoff family bcos I love them. And this (probably) will be my base anytime I make a Parents Wandanat or a Romanoff-Maximoff family fic 🫶😩

Just a disclaimer it’s probably gonna be very all over the place, like it’s not well thought out. I just wanna share my thoughts cus domestic Wandanat AGHHH 🥰😭🫶 Also this is long, like REALLY long. Idc here u gooo

In general:

They have 3 kids; Their eldest is adopted (but has Nat’s DNA, I’ll get into this in a bit.), and the other two are biological twins.

How you may ask? They’re friends with many VERY smart people, I don’t need to explain myself. (Or magic if ur nasty ;D)

The twins are boy and a girl, like Pietro and Wanda.

Natasha is 'Mom'

Wanda is 'Mama' (But to Natasha she is mommy-)

Natasha is the chill parent.

Wanda tends to overreact (Naturally, we all seen MoM. But it’s out of love guys it’s ok-)

But when Natasha gets angry she’s the scariest one.

They’re both retired from the Avengers after Endgame to raise a family.

They live in Westview.

They both only go on missions when absolutely needed.

And maybe sometimes go to the compound to teach the new Avengers.

They have enough money to last them a lifetime and THEN SOME- (I mean obviously they were an Avenger)

But they’re not the type to stay still, especially Nat.

Lord and behold Yelena’s little story came true, Nat becomes a science teacher at a local High School.

Is she qualified? I mean she was an international spy, I think she’s overqualified tbh-

Meanwhile Wanda opens up a small food business.

Wanda LOVES cooking for her family and her foods are really good!

People of Westview tried to convince Wanda to open up a restaurant cus it’s just THAT GOOD. (She could honestly, money was absolutely no problemo)

Her secret ingredient? Love… and the fresh ingredients she grows in their backyard-

Have I mentioned Wanda loves gardening? Because she doess!! (Cottage core wives HEHFJE)

But ultimately she decided not to open a restaurant (yet). Considering their kids are still young, she wanted to enjoy motherhood as much as she can.

Once the kids are all out of the house for College, then she’ll open a restaurant.

Natasha, being the good wife that she is, offers to quit her job as a teacher. She thought Wanda had too much on her plate taking care of the kids. Therefore not opening a restaurant.

Wanda reassures her that it was simply because she wanted to enjoy motherhood as much as she can.

The kids (Eldest):

Their eldest, Scarlet Hawkins Romanoff-Maximoff.

Scarlet is adopted, but she's half related to her little siblings because she has Natasha's DNA.

They saved her from a Red Room like facility. Instead of kidnapping girls, they take the DNA of a Red Room graduate and breed them to create a new line of Black Widow soldiers.

They stopped them in time, fortunately. (Or did they??)

Scarlet was surprisingly attached to Natasha. When they found out it was because they shared the same DNA, they decided to adopt her.

Scarlet easily warms up to Wanda.

Since Scarlet didn't have a name, they gave one for her.

Scarlet was from Wanda's callsign 'Scarlet Witch.' Because when she was a baby she was somewhat obsessed with Wanda's crown.

Baby Scarlet would run around the house with Wanda's crown pretending to have witchy powers.

Hawkins from, you guessed it, Hawkeye. Who is also her godfather.

She is basically the spitting image of Natasha, except with blonde hair and blue eyes. Probably from her biological father, whom they never figure out.

But who cares? She has two amazing moms, that's all she need.

And no it’s not Steve’s. Though they did thought it was.

(Scarlet may also be changed to Y/n from time to time cus I know ya'll love Parents Wandanat)

Unlike her little siblings, Scarlet being the oldest is the responsible one.

In truth she is, but she has her moments. Unlike her little siblings though, she never gets caught.

She also has a super soldier serum in her blood because of the experiment. (ion know if that shit is canonically possible but idc i aint giving myself context:))

The Twins:

As mentioned their twins is a girl and a boy.

They're biologically theirs through science. (again, or magic if ur nasty ;D)

The older the one being the girl, Alianova Lena Romanoff-Maximoff.

12 minutes older and never let her little brother forgets that.

From the name you can tell it's from who and who, just a different variation of it.

Yelena basically jumped on her feet when they told her Alia's middle name.

Her nickname is Alia.

She is the reckless one of the twins.

She inherited Wanda's powers, so mind reading, telekinesis, etc. (Idk her powers ok)

She looks a lot more like Wanda, except she has Natasha’s red hair.

But you can see the Natasha in her. Her face shapes are basically Wanda but radiating Natasha energy.

Their youngest, Pietro Xavier Romanoff-Maximoff.

We know where Pietro come from, who in the fuck is Xavier?

(He is my OC that I made in my little delulu fic. He is Natasha and Yelena's little brother, this is a whole separate thing so you can just ignore this. It's a fun fact tho LMAO)

(He was also the one who sacrifice himself, that's why Natasha is here now. If u guys are interested I might just make a HC for him. Ps: The whole purpose of him existing was for me self-inserting myself as Natasha's little brother and so Nat can live-)

His nickname is Piet.

He also inherited Wanda's power, but much like his namesake, he is a speedster.

Initially each of the twins would have a set of Wanda's and Natasha's last name.

So; Pietro Xavier Romanoff and Alianova Lena Maximoff.

But they went against it when Yelena said "You know people are gonna think they are a child of divorce right?"

He’s basically the perfect combination of the two.

Facial features wise probably leans a little more towards Natasha, but the brunette hair is all Wanda. Though it has a tint of red in it.

He is more of the calculated risk taker.

But Alia just simply likes to call it "A chicken"

They're both huge troublemakers.

Except one is more calculated, and the other just want to watch the world burns-

But naturally Pietro let his sister drags him to numerous troubles because he does NOT want her to call him a pussy-

The twins would definitely use their powers for troublemaking shenanigans.

Wandanat as Parents:

Natasha is the type to play sport with them, even though she herself is not much of a sport person. Yea she works out, but not sport. (Ya get me?)

Regardless, she takes the time to invest in whatever sport the kids are into at the time.

One time Scarlet was into Softball, Natasha went and practiced with her.

One time the twins was interested in basketball, the next day she got herself a basketball shoes and put up a basketball ring on their driveway.

Both of them are wonderful moms, honestly the best.

Wanda loves to pack their kids lunch, and the kids LOVE her lunches. Since Wanda has a reputation as a good cook around Westview, their classmates would often try their lunches.

Wanda even opens a catering at one point, but ultimately she stopped because she was getting TONS of orders.

One time, Scarlet turned it into her little business in school.

"Yo, my mom is making her infamous chicken paprikash. 10 dollars and I'll give you one."

"OOO ME ME" "I'll do it for $13!" "15!" "I'LL GIVE YOU 20 DOLLARS-"

Wanda loves to teach them arts and crafts, music, and of course, cooking.

Wanda would teach them how to play the guitar as she learned how to play at one point when she lived at the compound.

Natasha loves to help them with their homework, as she herself was a teacher now. (Also a former Russian spy)

She's always calm and collected when teaching them what they didn't understand. The kids love learning from Natasha.

Because Wanda would get frustrated and go "MATH IS MATH-"

Hi Sam! I was wondering if I could ask for some advice on how to make simblr fun again? I love storytelling (it's how I have fun with the game) but lately with writing posts and even in game, I just find myself stressing over if it's good/interesting enough or if I took good screenshots, if my writing is good, etc. I love this game and sharing my stories with this community, so it sucks to feel like this. Thank you sm ♥

Oh Nonny, how I feel this pain. I wish I had a sure fire answer to this but sadly there isn't just one thing that will work.

I will put some advice below for some things that have worked for me in my experience if you're interested in trying them out to try to find that spark again!

Now I have been on tumblr sharing my sims since 2013 so I have seen the community change a lot. Things change, people come and go, it's just the natural way of things. So a lot of the time your community can change around you and so a few years ago sims storytelling was really popular and it was the thing everyone was doing. And I mean everyone.

But now things have sort of fallen off or shifted and there is no shame in that for those who moved onto other things and hobbies. Sims storytelling, at it's core, is a hobby. No one is making money off of it (unless you write it all down and get it published in which case, hell yeah go you!)

That being said, finding your spark again is going to be finding what YOU like about storytelling in the sims.

So here are some tips you can try out in the game to keep it fresh and exciting:

Play the Game

The game has changed a lot and added a lot. It came out in 2014. It's about to be 10 years old. With expansions still being added. Honestly having a family where you can just play through what the game offers you can offer inspiration on how to use in game things for story related things later on.

I have found having a lowkey gameplay (for yourself or even for your blog if you are posting) is an easy way to stay active in the community while keeping things low stakes and casual for yourself while you work on finding your spark again.

Change Up your Post Style

Idk about you Nonny, but nothing gets me less motivated than having to edit photos. If I could just point, shoot, and post, I would have content coming out my ears. Which is what I started doing with my Princess Legacy. All I do is crop it. I add some things here and there but really it's all pretty much easy.

Now what is the best? That is personal preference especially for the project you are doing. However I have definitely discovered the crop method to be SUPER helpful.

It makes me not have to worry about the whole photo. Sometimes I have this SUPER awesome detail in the back of a photo but when I crop them I lose all that. Which is not good for storytelling lets be honest but does force me to focus on what is actually important in the shot.

Example: Here is the full cottage photo from above You can see that I cropped out a lot of the cottage in favor of being able to see the deer and swans as i thought that was more a cozy fairytale vibe than just the cottage itself. I lost a lot of this detail yet the point still came across.

TBH the paired crop photos also makes me cut out a lot of access photos if they don't have a pair. It's sort of made me realize how much I don't need to take screenshots of. Though I am definitely an overtaker of photos so I always have plenty to choose from. Sometimes I even queue them then look back and realize they aren't needed and delete. It's humbled me a bit.

I could break down every one of these posting styles but that's a whole other thing you didn't ask about.

TLDR of this section is to experiment with how you post. You can have a lot of fun with that.

If Something is Boring, Skip it.

Do you hate the infant stage? Age them past it. Do you hate the winter months in game? Set seasons to never have winter. Do you hate in game holidays ruining your plans? Delete them all from your calendar. Is it a crucial part to your story? Not anymore. Write around it. Or find some creative angles and dialogue to write over it.

Make the game fit you!

Follow the Inspo

Have inspiration to make a new sim in CAS? Do it! Want to make a whole new save? Have an idea for one scene that could start a whole story but you have nothing else for it? DO IT!!!

The game is supposed to be fun. If you have inspiration for a project, live in it. Have fun with it.

But Sam, what if only lasts 2 weeks and I never touch it again?

Me too, babes. Happens to me all the time. Own it. Keep it around in case you want to mess with it later. Have 10 million saves. It's your life and if it brings you a moment of joy to work on it, then it totally is worth it.

If you want to be like me: Be chaotic and post it too. Then private the posts later when you decide to never touch it again. Never delete tho. I always tend to regret deleted things.

Find Your Community

You should ultimately write and create for yourself, but find others who are doing it too! Lift them up as well! Use one day a week on your blog to give reblogs or shoutouts to your fellow creators and writers! It's all about lifting each other up and making friends who all have the same hobby as us.

Try New Challenges

A lot of my sims storytelling started from inspiration around legacy challenges. I loved to take challenge rules and figure out how to make a story around them. But remember: Rules are made to be broken. Especially in favor of a good story.

If you are working on a current challenge/story, find another to merge with it or to give yourself a heck of a fun plot twist. There are no rules!

Have Fun!

This is sort of the whole crux of it, right? And if you're not having fun then...

Take a Break

You are not beholden to your queue! Let it die out! Disappear for 6 months. Return when you want. Go play Animal Crossing or BG3 or whatever it is at the moment. Sims is a hobby. But it does not have to be your ONLY hobby. Let your brain rest.

In my case, whenever I leave the sims I am always filled with ideas and ready to come back in like 3 days.

This could also mean take a break from your save too. Maybe spend some time in CAS. Or in build mode. Or cleaning out your mods. You can still do sims things while letting your story brain rest.

TLDR:

There is no right answer for this, Nonny. I promise your photos are all gorgeous and your story is wonderful! But creativity like anything ebbs and flows so give yourself that grace to let yourself rest and just enjoy the game again, or enjoy time away from it! You deserve it you superstar creator!

Last work/study session of the year. It was an incredible, tough year, and there are a lot of work related concerns on my mind that keep me up every night. The next couple of months will be very challenging, and I’m mentally preparing myself for the time ahead. I will have to decide whether to apply for teaching jobs or whether to leave teaching. I will have to go through 3 teaching exams and 3 oral exams. And then I will be free. Right now, all of that sounds so daunting, it makes me want to run far away. 

But for now, let’s reflect on some realizations I had this year:

do not base your identity on your job/studies/career

romanticizing parts of your life and your job is nice but do not lose yourself in denial 

it will take active effort to stay kind and soft in a system that is anything but 

people your age are getting married and having babies - WILD. You don’t have to do the same

teenagers respect you when you take them serious 

many students do not have the same privileged upbringing you had - be kind. Always. 

healthy student > good grades

crying in your car is weirdly therapeutic 

making life-changing decisions are scary 

half of me is a big city girl and the other half a cottage core girl and they have daily fistfights

I want to talk at length about The Ocelots. So... [Under a Read More for your convenience]

First off, I'm a firm believer that Aiden and Lukas are exes. No, you cannot unconvince me. It cannot happen. They're exes. This much I know. Chill, Chill. You can interpret them however you want. I believe there was a mutual romantic bond there though. They were childhood friends who fell for each other!!!! And broke up because Aiden got jealous and broke everything off after Lukas spent some time helping Jesse. [Think Aiden had always seen himself as inferior to Jesse subconsciously or maybe even partially consciously] I think, for Lukas, he figured he and Aiden would live in his little cottage--away from [Aiden's] adoptive father. I firmly believe Aiden dropped the bag on that one. And that's when Lukas' disdain for Aiden, Maya, and Gill started. 'Cause Maya and Gill took Aiden's side. However, in their defense, Lukas HAD seemingly left to be with the new heroes [and did I mention he didn't come after them during the witherstorm? Oops.] It's a whole mess.

Lukas was there by choice. He didn't feel stuck there. It wasn't because they were the only friends he knew. He genuinely enjoyed them and was the same about the rivalry with Jesse's team. He thought the others were a bit overzealous and did shoot them down when it got bad [aka borderline bullying], but he's arrogant and he poked and prodded too. I like Lukas better as a flawed person. I don't like that his arrogant side isn't explored. Let him be nasty! Let him be flawed but ultimately at his core a kind person!!! Love that shit!!

Maya and Aiden are siblings. This is just a personal take. They've always screamed siblings to me. Aiden is Maya's adoptive older brother. Though, she'd never say he was adopted. In her eyes, he IS her brother. End of sentence. They are blood-related to her. Aiden feels the same. That's his little sister.

Gill is the new kid to the ocelots having taken Petra's place when she and Aiden had a falling out. [That falling out being over how jealous Aiden was over her hanging out with Jesse, Olivia, and Axel and picking on the trio in retaliation] He gives blacksmith's son to me. Was likely gonna take over for his mom when the time came. He may be new but he quickly clicked with everyone and though Aiden was the slowest to warm up [fighting with the fact he's technically replacing Petra his ex-best friend] he DOES see Gill as a good friend.

Aiden does care about his friends. Perhaps too much at times. Enough to get jealous, a lot. He's scared of losing them. Already knows he isn't enough. He wasn't for his bio parents or even his adoptive parents. He's got a MASSIVE superiority complex and RSD and mild BPD. He's a mess. But he does care. He just has a TIME going about it healthily. I believe he is someone who under it all is timid and surprisingly kind. I do NOT believe his behavior in episode five is how he's always acted. Why? Petra can help me with that one. She says, and I quote, "He seems different, scarier." Thus telling me that he's not usually like that. And I will die on this hill.
