Would you mind telling us more about Rin?

Rin, full name Erobyin Goodfellow, she/her. Not quite five feet tall, almost 15, pinecone-brown skin and very red hair. She has cicada-like wings (SO fun to draw!), which by all rights should be too small to carry her, but pucks are like bees. They just go "well f*** the laws of aviation" and fly anyway.

She's a wizard apprentice. Her mentor is a ginger werecat who is always tired, and her familiar is a gray squirrel named Birch who is incredibly bossy for a < 1 lb half-fluff animal.

Pucks have the ability to shift into anything, but they need to learn the form first. Rin's got robin, cat, goose, sundew, and table (kind of).

Rin is my protag Alli's soulmate, too! Their specific type of soulmate bond is purely platonic, sort of a qpr if that makes sense? Though when I came up with it, I'd literally never heard of qprs. (Rin and Alli are both acespec, btw-- Rin's a gray-ace lesbian and Alli is ace het.)

Anything else you want to know? The problem with working all the info into the book is, now it's hard to sum it up! 😅😅😅

Alli would. But not just any demon. Ariel Winter, Elemental and Lord of Winter, literally all the power of wintertime personified. Also, her big brother's best friend. ^_^
