There’s a lot that you’ve just gotten used to during your friendship with Seokjin. That he’s always going to ask you to taste some new recipe he’s trying when you come over for dinner. That he’s always going to have the absolute best wine and turn his nose up when you show up with something cheap. That he uses the perfect meal to say the things he can’t. That he’s actually the best cook you’ve met without ever taking any classes. That you can’t interrupt him when he’s in the middle of playing a video game without getting a lecture or it actually being an emergency. “WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME?” Seokjin nearly screeches before you finish saying hello.

“I’m missing several pieces to whatever you’re trying to ask,” you answer even though you do know what he means. You’ve known Seokjin long enough to know that he texted Jimin and to guess at how that chat went.

“And I know you must have seen the comments, so you saw Jimin,” Seokjin carries on like you hadn’t interrupted.

“Jimin says a lot of things,” you counter.

“Well I called him and he informed me that you can clearly see my dick outlined through my pants on the counter. And then when I said you suggested cropping the picture, he laughed for a full minute before telling me to call you and hanging up,” Seokjin explains. 

You curse internally. Just like there’s a lot to get used to with your friendship with Seokjin, there’s even more to accept with your friendship with Jimin. He’s actually really grounded and reliable. The kind of person you can tell anything to. The only problem? He never forgets and makes damn sure you never do either. Case in point: your crush on your best friend.

“Well?” Seokjin prompts when you’re quiet for too long.

“Seokjin, are you asking me out?” There’s something about the softness in his voice that makes you bold. Makes you think maybe you’re not in this alone. 

“What? No, of course not!” he nearly shouts, voice pitching up at the end.

“You can’t even say it,” you tease back.

Seokjin grumbles on the other end of the call. “Fine, you don’t have to.”

“I’d love to come have dinner with you, but only if you admit it’s a date,” you offer.

“It’s not a…actually, yes I’ll call it a date if…” Seokjin starts.

“Yes, Jin, I was looking at your dick,” you say quickly. “Okay, see you tonight for dinner!”

You hang up the phone before he can say anything else and have a moment of satisfaction imagining his face. It’s so easy to see the way he’d look at his phone, the way the blush on his ears would give him away. You think, for the first time in awhile, this might all be okay.

Times Jungkook Debunked Every Other Ship

People love to ship Jungkook with every woman that breathes next to him and well, Tae. Really, they love to ship him with everyone and anyone that has a name that doesn’t start with Jim and end with In. However, Jungkook has time and time again shown us where his affections lie. It’s not like he’s always doing it intentionally or to always prove a point. He, like anyone in a relationship, is exclusive when it comes to his partner. He does things for only Jimin that debunks any theories that involve him being with anyone other than Jimin. Let’s take a look at his “exclusivity.”

Birthday Gifts

Giving Birthday gifts in and of itself doesn’t scream relationship. However, giving a birthday present to only one member out of a 7 person group does raise a few red flags. 

This moment doesn’t necessarily debunk the notion that Jungkook is dating someone outside the group but it 100% debunks the notion that he’s dating Tae or anyone else in BTS.  Because let’s be real...if JK gave Jimin his supposed non boyfriend a gift for his birthday and not Tae, his supposed boyfriend then JK is a crappy boyfriend!

Also, let’s not forget the most romantic birthday gift of all...the all expense paid trip to Tokyo with the complimentary romantic Vlog dedicated to none other than Jimin--GCF Tokyo. 

Jungkook has never featured another member in his GCF’s the way in which he did and continued to do for Jimin. Even when it was suggested that he make one with Tae JK refused and kept making and featuring Jimin. With this Birthday gift Jungkook debunked every rumor that he was dating anyone other than Jimin. 

Some people like to play the “friends do this for friends” card and that earns them the biggest eye roll known to man kind because...really? Do friends take friends on vacation? Yes. Do friends create travel vlogs with their friends? Yes! But let’s not pretend that’s all that happened here. JK took Jimin on an all expense paid trip to Tokyo...he legit paid for everything--airfare, lodging, food, shopping and excursions--he later talked about how broke he was after that trip. He then documented that trip but for “some reason” forgot to include himself in that documentation. He made a 4 minute video highlighting just Jimin’s experience, zooming in on his features and made the audio a freaking love song! Don’t play the “it was a friend trip” card because there isn’t a person alive that if gifted with that trip and that vlog wouldn’t see it as romantic. And there isn’t a person alive that wouldn’t break up with/Kill their partner if they did that for their “just friend.” Jungkook debunked every other ship with this gift. Point, blank, period!

Compliments

I want to preface by saying giving people compliments doesn’t in itself mean anything. Friends give and should give each other compliments all the time. However, there is a boundary. Calling your friend “sexy” is a lot different than calling your friend “handsome.” This is especially true when you are in a relationship. Even in a relationship I am allowed to say people are handsome...but if I were to call my “just friend” sexy...that would hold a whole new meaning and I’d be in hot water. Handsome is just a general observation of attractiveness. Sexy implies desire! It’s saying you evoke sensuality and often times make “me” horny! 

Jungkook calls Jimin sexy...A LOT! And he Uwus over how cute Jimin is All the time. Not to mention he does it right in front of everyone’s salad. . . 

With the amount of times JK calls JM sexy and cute in front of members there’s no way he’s dating anyone else in BTS or in the world other than JM. It would be very cruel for JK to be dating Tae but constantly call Jimin Sexy in front of him.

Some might say he’s just being funny when he says it...it’s very clear that many times JK is more than joking...he gets choked up. Also...he is constantly calling Jimin cute. He thinks everything about Jimin is cute...even his toes.

  When JK was asked what his favorite part of members was JK  responded with a picture of Suga’s wrist, Jin’s finger, Tae’s ear, RM’s hand, J-Hope’s eye, and drum roll please. . . . . JM’s entire body. 

Now again this alone doesn’t debunk JK dating someone outside of BTS. I can imagine someone making an argument that this only proves JK is closest with JM. Now while this argument is weak it’s at the very least logical. An illogical argument would be that in light of this, JK is dating Tae (or any other member of BTS that isn’t JM). This is illogical because why would JK say he likes all of Jimin but only a part of his supposed boyfriend Tae? 

With this post JK completely destroyed the notion that taekook is real. He also destroyed the notion that he’s dating anyone other than JM!

Clinginess

There’s a reason satellite Jeon became JK’s honorary name. There’s also a reason why JM constantly jokes that JK is always copying him. When you are with someone all the time you start to adopt their habits...it’s natural and can’t be helped. 

Jungkook is always with Jimin. A Staff member even said “he never saw Jimin and Jungkook separated backstage.” Jimin has said “Jungkookie and I tend to stick together so often.” And JK said, “All the time, it’s just the two of us doing something at night.

I mean they are together so much that even members confuse their rooms.

The first pic Tae thinks JM’s room is JK’s (this in itself should prove Taekook aren’t a couple...the boy doesn’t even know where his apparent boyfriends room is lol). The last two pics you have Vmin choosing to share a room together and Hobi by impulse saying JM and JK will take this room. It was his knee jerk response because it’s what’s common.

Just the sheer amount of time Jikook spend together at odd hours disproves every other ship...because why wouldn’t JK be spending that time with his significant other...why would he choose to spend that time with JM ? What girl friend wouldn’t feel insecure about this?

Skinship

Last but certainly not least...SKINSHIP. I know I know...Jungkook doesn’t only engage in skinship with JM. He does it with Jin, Hobi, and Tae also. The difference is the way in which JK allows JM to touch him and the way in which he only touches JM. 

JK will hug, sit on other members laps, and even somewhat cuddle with other members. I say somewhat because typically he’s on the receiving end or not even aware (I.e. asleep). The only times he has been aware and has actively chosen to cuddle is typically with JM and sometimes Hobi also. JK however, has only ever sucked JM’s ear and allow JM to to suck his neck and rub up all on his chest. 

All in All...Jungkook consistently debunk Taekook, or any other ship he’s included in. Sometimes (More recently it seems) it’s intentional...most of the time it’s just him engaging with his partner how partners engage...exclusively.

can’t believe i need to say this but here we go, if we assume jikook are dating then them using the travel show as a guise to travel together wouldn’t be because otherwise everyone would suddenly say they’re dating. it’s a peace of mind thing where they can do what they want and have an excuse for it. straight people will never get this lmao when you’re about to go into a place where being gay is illegal you’re not going to be wanting to make any move that would be in any way suspicious even when technically what you’re doing isn’t. you gotta do what you gotta do to protect yourself and your mental health.

The exact same questions i have had about this moment and like U i made peace with the fact we will never know answers to these questions but one thing for sure is they're that comfortable where one can leave a bite mark on other's neck and they'd rather go around flexing it than simply cover it so no asks any questions. It’s the fact that Jimin commented it on a live. That, and the 2 o’clock thing, which has multiple translations but implies something fruity either way.

And it’s all capped off with Jungkook ~coincidentally~ flexing his arm right after he says goodbye to Jimin. I genuinely found it so endearingly funny because it was just sooo random. What are you doing, you little peacock? 😭

And while that might be enough to convince Jimin to come, it’s definitely not enough for a live. That one’s gonna take a lot more prodding.

Because we know Jimin’s the kind to want to feel in control of the situation, especially in a live, real-time setup. Going live at Hybe instead of at home, doing scheduled lives instead of spontaneous. Wrong.

After undoing all the wrong work that you and Jungkook did the day before, the members were already on the verge of despair when they realized that the cradle had almost 170 pieces, between big and small. How could anyone put that together?

Jimin rummaged through the box, trying to find the instructions, but they had disappeared. "I can't find them anywhere, hyung," he pouted.

After seeing Jungkook himself trying to put two wheels on the same part of the crib, under the explanation that 'it's to give more speed when we need to move her,' you were already at peace with yourself that it wouldn't end so soon. But it was good and fun to have the members there. Never a dull moment. You could even feel Mi-hi kick harder when the sound of her uncles' laughter filled the room.

Hoseok placed a hand on Jimin's shoulder, comforting him. "Let's try to figure this out ourselves. How hard can it be?"

You were ready to explain it again when Jin beat you to it. "Famous last words, Hobi. We're talking about assembling a crib, not performing on stage."

Unlike the rest of the members, Yoongi was so concentrated that the veins on his forehead were visible. He wouldn't stop until he got it. He was a man with a mission. How hard could it be? He's ridden harder things in life. He had the patience of a saint and the perseverance of a—

"WHY DOES THIS CRIB COME WITH SO MANY SMALL PARTS?! It's like a complicated puzzle from hell!" he shouted, unable to contain himself.

"YAH!" Jungkook yelled back. "Don't say 'hell' in front of my baby!"

"Both of you, stop!" Namjoon interjected. "I can't believe we're MacGyvering a crib for Jungkook's baby."

You burst out laughing at his statement, and the members also started to laugh. At least you'll have a good story to tell the little one when she grows up. Remember that time BTS struggled to build your crib?

Four hours, three fights, four minor arguments, five screams, eight bottles of banana milk, and 18 "YAHs" later, they finished assembling the crib. And yeah, it may not be flawless, but it's made with BTS love.

That's what matters.

You sound (and are) so smart and mature and then I remember you ship Jikook. This isn’t meant in a negative way, but I feel like you will always be biased because you see everything through shipping lenses.

But as you said in your previous ask, we are all immature in some ways.

This is kind of funny. I know people see me that way, just like I can't take non-Jikook shipppers seriously (Armys who ship anyone in BTS but Jikook, not necessarily Armys who don't ship anyone in BTS). I also can't take many Jikookers seriously, but that's another matter.

You're right that I'll always be biased because I see "everything" - ie. everything Jimin and Jungkook do - through shipping lenses, but I'm also biased in many other ways. I'm Jungkook biased so I'm always making everything about Jungkook and often underestimate and fail to do the other members' justice because of it; I love Jungkook and Jin's bond the most along with Jikook, so I see everything through a platonic Jinkook perspective as well; I care more about, and am more interested in, some members and relationships over others - all of which makes me biased. Shipping, or rather, believing Jikook are real, isn't the only thing that makes me biased. You are biased as well. Imagine that Jikook are real. Since you don't believe they are and are firm in that belief, you will have missed all the "signs" because you want to confirm your bias, so you'd have the opposite problem to mine. You may say that Jikook not being real is way more likely than Jikook being real so that makes you unbiased in comparison to me, but, to me, you're biased all the same. And I'm sure you're biased in several other ways. No one's word is the gospel. You have to use common sense and trust your own judgement when it comes to any of my opinions, be them Jikook "biased" or not (non BTS opinions, for example). My biggest bias is likely that I'm Jungkook biased, and not that I'm a Jikooker.

If believing in Jikook makes me less trustworthy to you, that's your problem. I never want to spread lies and misinformation, and try to be as clear as possible about any possible biases I may have, but I'm not even aware of all my biases and what I think of as the truth you might think of as false or speculative. I'm not to blame if people blindly trust me and it turns out I'm wrong. I'm only a person and I don't need to be an "authority figure" in anything.

Taekookers always say Bighit force Jungkook and V to hide their relationship and Jungkook and Jimin to do fanservice. It’s the most pathetic and desperate theory which they miserably need to fit their made up narratives.

Meanwhile Jungkook does what he wants, he can’t be controlled and forced to do something he doesn’t want. It’s something obvious, it’s his personality trait and also other members said it many times. Saying he is Bighit’s puppet and actor totally contradict his true character. When he wants to show us something, he shows it.

The biggest example is the hickey on MOTS DVD. Taekookers say the company would never show something like that, but it’s the exact opposite. They are testing their boundaries as a closeted couple and to get our reaction to it. Moreover if Jungkook and Jimin didn’t want it to be shown, it wouldn’t be on DVD. When you have distorted mindset for years, of course you can’t get something so simple and logical.

Meanwhile Jungkook is a genius. He knows exactly what he does and he knows exactly how it looks like. He wouldn’t put J over M if it was for his name or for other members. It’s a fact that is very hard to accept. He wouldn’t do GCFT, or at least whole about Jimin and with that song. He wouldn’t suck Jimin’s ear in front of the 60k people. The „bite” wouldn’t be on DVD. They wouldn’t sing But I still want you instead of And I still want you even it was just Jimin’s lyric. All those things are deep and statements. They are both showing us what they are and it’s up to us if we accept that.

Nonshippers and anti shippers always dismiss them and downplay any possibility of them being more than friends. Saying we are delusional and we make them uncomfortable. Meanwhile it’s only them who are uncomfortable because they also see it, but they are ones who can’t accept it. It’s not about us imagining, it’s about us not ingnoring and paying attention.

A lot of misinterpretation of Jungkook’s character comes from the delusion and obsession with something which is not real. Those people are drown in their made up lies and false narratives and they aren’t able to see the truth. Jungkook said he monitors everything online. I only hope he doesn’t see all the trash there. But sadly maybe he does and that’s why he uses social media less and less.

Preference is the Fruit of Love

 So as Jikookers we all know one thing to be true! Jikook gravitate towards one another, often showing a very clear preference for each others company over others. This preference is made more obvious when members are around because it is in these moments that we see them form this almost exclusive impenetrable bubble around themselves creating an “Us” and “Them” environment.  While unintentional, it nevertheless happens. 

One of the best examples of this the 2019 Boys with Luv Comeback Special filmed in NYC. Before I get into my opinions of this moment, I want you to watch the moment I am speaking about. It starts at 5:03 and ends at 7:01 (P.S. I chose this video because it clips out the parts I am talking about).

Now this moment starts off with Jikook being separated. Jk is seated with Jin and RM, while Jm is seated with Tae and Hobi. They don’t look unhappy separated they are laughing and goofing around, mostly JK poking fun of JM’s origin story. 

However, when teams are decided JK becomes incredibly happy. He’s super giddy to change teams. One can say it’s because he also is happy about being on a team with the entire Maknae line but the proof of why he’s really happy is what he does when switches sides. He walks over smiling at JM and then proceeds to tap JM’s shoulders with his paper.

JK is happy to be on a team with JM. Which is funny seeing that JM is notorious for losing games, while JK is the Golden Maknae who enjoys winning. That aside...JK is happy to be on the same team as JM. And JM is clearly happy to be on the same team as JK seeing as his whole body language shifts and his attention turns away from Tae and the rest of the group to 100% JK. Not 50% or 80%...100%.

Jikook spend the entire game in their own little bubble, sadly leaving Tae out the entire time. They don’t consult him about answers, they spend the game whispering to each other and acting as though the team is just them! I mean look at  the distance they’ve created between themselves and Tae, and look at Tae’s expression. He looks bored and not happy because he’s being left out. Even the editors noted it with the “Guys, please play with V.” I genuinely don’t think Tae likes being paired with Jikook for games because this happens. You put them together they enter their own world. I am almost certain Jimin said as much on a live once. He said something along the lines of “I would call JK but when we are together we become laser focused and forget to communicate with Army.” And we see that very statement come to life all the times when they are together. 

Above is another example of them forgetting others exist. You might think they are alone but spot the broad shoulders peaking from behind Jimin and you’ll find RM. The entire time he’s paired with them it’s like he doesn’t exist. 

Or...what about the time they invited Hobi to join them to practice Busan Dialect with them and then forgot they invited him. Or the time they were live as a group and Tae had to separate them.

This is a habit they have that is not exclusive to one member. i do think it bothers Tae and Rm the most but still they do it to all members. The Boys with Love Comeback Special shows it the best to me though...because from the get go JK showed how happy he was to be sitting with JM and JM alone, and JM showed his happiness by closing any and all distance between them. Also sadly, Tae’s displeasure makes it very obvious. 

I’ve honestly never seen two people so naturally create a sort of force field around them the way Jikook do. If you let them get in their zone it’s hard to break them out of it, and from what I gather members rarely try to. They just let them do their thing. In all the behind the scenes moments, rehearsal moments what do we see? We see Jikook goofing off while members don’t bother/willfully ignore them. They don’t ask many questions, they do occasionally give them a death glare (tried to find a clearer shot but trust me Hobi is glaring hard at them) but mostly they leave them be because it becomes more awkward when you break them up.

Look anon, Mimi had addressed all of this when they had written these posts already with explanations of what they intended. As they've said before their frustration was geared towards the expected reaction to jkks words from the fandom (which was always to downplay their relationship) which seeped into their interpretation of jkk. Yeah, it could have been worded better but it was written in a heated moment, something they're already aware of.

Whether we like to admit it or not, staying hyper aware of fandom discourse can colour how we interact with the members and their words and the anticipation of the discourse that'll steep out of it can sometimes makes us almost hold it against the member themselves than the group of rabid fans hellbent on twisting their words. I still remember when I was at a point where I got frustrated with Tae a while back because the expected discourse from his words bothered me more than the actual words he was saying. It's where we have to catch ourselves when dealing with something like parasocial relationships where boundaries between fan reaction and interaction are so murky.

As someone who has talked to mimi about everyone jkk I can say confidently say they're the farthest thing from a j/m anti and love him very thoroughly. If you think otherwise you're free to block them and myself, instead of exposing yourself to content which you know makes you mad.
