Kukui and Guzma were both Hala‘s apprentices and I can’t stop thinking about that.

Guzma didn’t want to use z-moves at all. He wanted to become the strongest without all that.

Kukui tried to help him and he refused. He wanted to become the best on his own:(

He dislikes z-moves and people who use them so much. He knew Ash had a z-ring and that’s why he agreed to battle him. He wanted to show him that you didn’t need stupid fancy moves to be the best.

And he almost one. He would have one if Golisopod hadn’t retreated the moment it was hit. He would have one. Ash‘s Pikaxhu would have fainted from the poisoning. The only reason it took out Golidopod was because it hit its soft spot.

Hell, Pikachu used its z-move and that didn’t do anything to Golisopod, whilst Golisopod was doing pretty much the minimum and winning easily.

Idk just thinking about all that

Also, the fact that Kukui and Guzma had abandoned each other so many years ago in Pokémon school due to Guzma‘s disagreement with z-moves just makes me think.

He gets so upset over Kukui‘s words in his match with Ash.

Kukui called him scared.

Guzma was not scared. He was not. He knew he could win. That’s why he fought ash. He fights battles he knows he can win.

Kukui‘s words affect him so much. Always. They always do.

The only reason he joins the Pokémon league is so, that if he becomes champion, he can destroy it.

Kukui‘s ideas make him so mad. He likes when things are normal and unchanging. He doesn’t like fancy z-rings, or the Pokémon league.

It takes away from the island challenge. It makes it so it’s no longer an Alola thing. It makes it not his thing.

Gizma defeated Ilima and his Kommo-o with ease. And he wasn’t even using Golisopod for that battle.

He did that. He did that easily. He did that to show Kukui and Hala that he was strong. Stronger than their z-moves.

He does things out of spite. Because he doesn’t like this change. And it really just makes me aaaaaghhhhh

Also the fact that Ilima had to mega evolve his Kangaskhan and still didn’t win is amazing.

He defeated two very powerful Pokémon, with just his Scizor. One of those Pokémon being fucking mega evolved.

This battle (the one against Lana) is fucking Brutal. Just one side ko‘s from Gutma and Golisopod.

It goes to show how fucking strong they are.

He doesn’t need to use a z-move.

In fact he fucking just „accessed denied“ Primarina‘s z-move.

And then, once the battle is over, he disrespects Primarina and Lana.

When Olivia calls him out on it, he ignores her

He knows how good he is. He knows he doesn’t need some shitty z move.

People critique this battle for how he just used throat chop and poison jab, but what’s the point in other moves when you could use the most effective ones?

Hes one of the smartest battlers imo. He knows his opponents strengths and weaknesses, and counters them. Simple as that.

Also I’d like to add the fact that everytime he wins a battle, he just glares at Kukui.

He just knows he’s proving his fucking point.

Can we just appreciate how like good of a character Guzma is though. Like

(About his second battle with Ash) He has a really hard time controlling his emotions and in the middle of the battle, he just,,,, starts shaking bc Torracat defeated Scizor due to Golisopod‘s cowardice.

He yelled at Golisopod for this. He didn’t mean it, but he was just so fuckinh overwhelmed.

And then when he defeated Torracat and ash sent out pikaxhu guzma was like „a yo Uhhh remember when I almost beat that little shit u should probably just admit defeat rn“ and ash being the annoying cunt he was was like „no!!!i have the power of being the main character!!!!“

Guzma saw Kukui and Hala. And he just kinda. Yeah.

Ash used thunderbolt and hit Golisopod midair.

He used gigavolt havoc but that didn’t do much to Golisopod.

And then guzma realised some shit and he basically had a meltdown🤪

He literally started yelling at himself in the middle of the battle. He was so overwhelmed. It upsets me so much LMAO

That Guzna was so affected by this loss.

Kukui invited him back to the Pokémon league next year. He ignored him

And Team skull, who had been watching, cheered him on. They were happy for him. And he ignored him.

The loss fucked him up bro

He didn’t beat pikaxhu. He would have though. In the first match at least. I don’t know if he would actually been able to beat him in the second match. He probably could have if he wasn’t having a meltdown during the whole ordeal.

And he knew all of pikachu‘s moves. He knew how to counter then, and the fact that they were pretty ineffective against Golisopod bc of its shell.

Pikachu just got some lucky hits in.

A Percabeth AU where they keep their relationship secret in fear of what their parents might think. (Warning: this goes over both PJO and HoO so it's very long):

The beginning of TLT goes as it should but after Percy is claimed, Annabeth is suddenly meaner and colder.

He remembers the Poseidon/Athena rivalry but doesn't see why they have to hate each other bcuz of their parents.

But Annabeth doesnt relent.

They still go on the quest together bcuz "you are so going to fail without a daughter of Athena."

But they still argue a lot and give poor Grover a satyr migraine.

When they have that bonding moment on the truck, Percy thinks maybe they're sorta friends, but Annabeth proves that wrong later by calling him a "Seaweed Brain" bcuz he's so stupid.

Percy fires back with "Wise Girl" but Annabeth seems to take that as more of a compliment than an insult.

(He doesn't stop calling her that tho)

After Luke betrays Percy, Annabeth's the one that found him after the dryads and she drags him to the infirmary but completely denies caring about him afterwards.

By SoM, Percy is so done with this and goes over to her asking if they could be friends.

Annabeth, who actually would like to be his friend, agrees with reluctancy, saying, "We have to keep it a secret though, or who knows what our parents might do."

Percy agrees.

Grover knows they're friends now cuz of the empathy link, but doesn't say anything.

In TTC, when Annabeth falls off the cliff, he blames himself more than ever, bcuz if they hadn't been fake arguing she might not have been distracted and fallen.

Thalia blames him even more too, and he has to keep his cover and can't tell her he knows it's all his fault.

Nico asks if Annabeth is Percy's girlfriend.

He says no, but he has a funny feeling in his heart.

He goes to the attic to ask the Oracle about Annabeth.

It doesn't answer.

When he thinks Artemis is about to ask Annabeth to join the Hunters, he knows he has to tell her something, even if it meant blowing their cover.

He breathes a sigh of relief when Artemis asks Thalia, and Annabeth is waiting for him to talk with narrowed eyes as if trying to figure out what he wants to say.

He chokes. (~Like doesn't say his feelings, not actually choke lol~)

In BotL, they are totally going out on a secret unofficial movie date but ofc the fiasco with Kelli at Goode happens.

Annabeth gets really jealous when Rachel appears. (Especially since Rachel has more opportunity to go out with Percy bcuz Annabeth and Percy have to pretend to hate each other.)

Percy, ofc, does not realize why in Hades she's acting like she really hates him even though they're in private.

At camp, they're playing Capture the Flag when they stumble on an entrance to the Labyrinth.

They go down to hide from monsters and end up stuck.

It's so dark Annabeth grabs his hand to keep from being separating. (~this is canon, they were holding hands I checked~)

When they find their way back out, it appears almost an hour had gone by when they were sure they were down for a couple minutes.

The campers were searching for the two of them and are immediately suspicious when they find the two alone. Together.

But they forget about that when Clarisse comes and asks about the "hole" they fell into and Annabeth suggests they continue talking in private.

It is then that Annabeth, Percy, Grover, and Tyson go on their quest.

When Annabeth and Percy reach Mount St. Helens they are quickly found out.

Percy tells Annabeth to escape saying he has a plan. (He really doesn't)

She kisses him. (~whaaaaaaaat~)

When she leaves, Percy apparently decides to cause a volcano to erupt. (~ya he doez~)

He lands on Ogygia, while Annabeth, thinking he is dead, goes back to camp, alone.

When she returns, they ask where Percy, Grover, and Tyson are but she refuses to say anything.

They realize what happened.

They have a burning of the shroud ceremony where she doesn't say anything, sitting, her face emotionless, but her heart in turmoil as she listens to Chiron.

That's when Percy crashes the funeral.

Annabeth is outraged.

She pretends it's because "THE WHOLE QUEST IS BEING HELD UP BECAUSE OF YOU! AND WHAT WERE YOU DOING, ENJOYING A VACATION AT PARADISE ISLAND?!?!"

It's really because she was head over heels with worry and grief (while he's off with sOmE imMorTal gOdDeSs) but she can't let anyone know that.

She is certainly not happy when Rachel joins their quest.

(Percy still doesn't get it.)

Before TLO, they are playing Capture the Flag, and the two are on opposite sides. (~in The Demigod Files, the story they find Festus for the first time in~)

Annabeth and Silena capture Percy and Beckendorf and the boys suffer an utter loss. (Were the myrmekes part of the plan? They'll never know.)

Beckendorf and Silena totally know they like each other no matter how much Percy and Annabeth fake it and try to get one of them to ask each other to the Independence Day firework show.

Annabeth does end up asking Percy and they watch the fireworks secretly next to the woods so no one sees them.

They hold hands or something else just as cute idk.

In TLO, when the Battle of Manhattan starts, everyone is surprised when Annabeth let's Percy take the lead.

When she takes the blade for Percy she says it was bcuz "I didn't know it was him!"

"So you would take a blade for anyone if it wasn't Percy?"

"...yes."

But by this time everyone secretly ships Percabeth so no one questions it.

After the war, Percy gives up immortality mostly for her but only those two know it. (And maybe Grover).

Annabeth asks him to meet her in the woods and when he does, she brings him a lumpy blue-colored cake which Tyson helped make. (Bcuz of course Tyson knows that they're secretly friends but Grover told him not to tell anyone).

They kiss, duh.

But then a monster comes out from the woods and they don't want to fight it after they just had a war so they run.

They end up by the lake and Percy pulls Annabeth in to get away from the monster.

Cue best underwater kiss ever.

They date in secret for two months but Percy's mom knows.

When Percy goes missing, Annabeth freaks.

She searches for him everywhere and if anyone asks why she's searching so hard for someone she doesn't even like, she just replies, "He probably just disappeared bcuz it's his turn to do the camp chores and I will not let him slack off," or "Who else am I supposed to use for target practice???"

(None of the campers who'd been in the Titan war buy it.)

In SoN, the only thing Percy remembers is Annabeth, but for some reason, he has this instinct to not tell anyone about her so he doesn't.

In MoA she still judo flips him and acts all mad (which she is) but he still laughs it off and says all sarcastic, "Oh, did the smartass daughter of Athena miss me?"

But he missed her too.

When they go to eat lunch Annabeth and Percy excuse themselves to "go to the bathroom" but they really snuck off to have their own private reunion.

"I missed you so much, Seaweed Brain. Don't ever disappear like that again."

"I'm sorry, Wise Girl. I missed you too."

Later, when Annabeth and Percy sneak off to the Pegasi stables on the Argo II and sleep next to each other.

Frank finds them.

They swear they didn't do anything and threaten Frank into silence.

He can never look at them the same way again though.

When Annabeth has to get the Athena Parthenos, Percy paces the deck of the Argo but says he's not worried about a daughter of Athena.

When she finally gets the statue, he goes down to meet her but she trips and falls into the Pit.

He catches her, but now he's hanging on a ledge.

"Percy, let me go. You can't pull us both up." She whispers, knowing they're too low for the others to hear.

"We're staying together. You're not getting away from me. Never again." He whispers back.

"As long as we're together."

At least in Tartarus, they don't have to pretend they don't absolutely, utterly love each other.

In Blood of Olympus, Percy, Annabeth, and Piper are walking underground to the monster's base in the Parthenon when they see a trident mark in the ground.

Annabeth says it's the place where Poseidon struck the ground.

At this point, Percy turns to Piper and asks, "Can you keep a secret?"

Piper nods.

That's when Percy kisses Annabeth.

When he pulls away, he says, "This is where the rivalry ends….for us, at least."

Piper acts surprised but on the inside she is rAGING bcuz now Leo owes her ten bucks but she can't tell him.

After the Giant war they consider telling their friends, but they're not sure…

Sort of a bonus:

The Hephaestus and Athena cabins worked together to make everyone monster-proof phones (which also correct their dyslexia) and Annabeth and Percy use them all the time to text each other and no one knows.

Jason asks Percy to come to a cafe with some of the others, and Annabeth and Percy are texting the whole time.

Their convo goes something like this:

'hey Annabeth, me, Jason, Frank and some of the others r going to that cafe on 31st street'

'*Jason, Frank, some of the others and I' 'Really? Piper, Hazel, and I are going there too. They mentioned Jason, Frank, and Leo might be there, but not you.'

'weird, they didn't say anything about u either' 'hey wait a sec, Jason's texting on some gc called Operation Get Them Together' 'the other guys' phones r ringing everytime he sends something…'

Percy and Annabeth sit down at the table, but everyone is still standing.

Piper and Hazel say they have to go to the bathroom and leave.

Jason and Leo say they're going to go order (even tho it's a sit down with a menu and order type of cafe???)

Everyone seems to have some kind of excuse to leave until Percy and Annabeth are left alone.

The two pull out their phones again.

'Seriously? This is their plan? Say we're all going out to eat and then leave the two of us alone?'

'I don't know.' They're probably spying on us…'

'um is that Reyna, Hazel, and Calypso in the bushes with mud and green war paint on their faces?'

The responses were very diverse.

"Yeah, I walked in on them sleeping together…"

"So we did all this for nothing???"

They arguing stops as two flashes of light almost blind everyone and two gods appear.

Poseidon and Athena.

For several seconds, the two gods just stare at Percy and Annabeth (who are now holding hands just bcuz)

Then, finally, after what seemed and EXCRUCIATINGLY long time, Poseidon turns to Athena and says:

"I was right, you were wrong, I was RIGHT, you were WRONG, I WAS RIGHT, YOU WERE WRONG, YOU OWE ME FIFTY DRACHMAS BIRD BRAIN"

This was not the reaction the demigods was expecting if you couldn't tell

Athena just scowls and makes a pouch filled with drachmas appear, and throws it at Poseidon.

Poseidon catches it, bringing out what appears to be a phone and starts calling someone.

Athena goes over to Percy and Annabeth.

She looks mad, and Annabeth tries to let go of Percy's hand, panicking, trying to think of a lie, but Percy doesn't let go.

"My daughter is the smartest and best of my children, and as much as I don't approve of this, if she chose you, sea-spawn, she must have a good reason. But if you step one foot out of line, I will have you punished, understood?"

Athena addresses this to Percy, who nods fearfully.

"Good."

Suddenly there are a bunch more flashes of light as more gods appear bcuz apparently, Poseidon wanted everyone to see that he was right and Athena was wrong.

Ofc chaos ensues.

But Percy and Annabeth are still holding hands and look at each other and feel overwhelmingly happy for the first time in a long time because now they don't have to keep their relationship a secret anymore.

I am not even sure what he wants me to do, fly over to him when he has half assed done things. Something I started planning randomly while at work, I guess the creativity just struck me.

Campaign Idea: War! 

The emperor of a large volcanic island of great strategic importance (its still vague, I’m still working shit out, these pictures plus 2 statblocks are all I’ve got) has died with no heir and the island is undergoing renovations to accommodate the imminent land war for the throne. The dead emperor was widely liked by the neighbouring elven and dwarven kingdoms however it comes to light post-mortem that this positive relationship was forged through complex and contradictory treaties made between each leader of these kingdoms and the emperor separately that signed over ownership of large swaths of land to both nations at once in the event of there being left no heir. These treaties are of frustratingly ambiguous age and clarity and so it seems like the only solution to the problem of who controls the island is conflict and conquest. However, just as the sparks of clashes first fly, a new contender enters the ring. A massive orc and goblinoid etc army led by a tanarukk appears seemingly out of nowhere right in the middle of the island, especially concerning since the emperors antecedent had supposedly driven all the orcs from the empire a century ago. The tanarukk introduces himself in diplomatic parley with the elves and the dwarves but is refused a meeting with the governing body of the human empire (the ones desperately trying to find some way of solving the elf/dwarf double invasion issue (either through diplomacy or by finding an heir)) on account of their refusal to recognise an orc nation. As a result, it is made clear that the old empire of the dead emperor is about to descend into an even bloodier conflict from which no party looks set to come out healthy.

The campaign would start with the politics as a backdrop, probably with the players starting in a small county specifically taking a job from some kind of recruitment agency to do some normal quest. Once they’ve finished and have hit like third or fourth level the recruitment guy will be like 

“just had a job come in actually, starts tomorrow, twelve pound an hour, eight till four, five days a week, you’ll be working for the Count! Liftin and shiftin, bit of packin, yknow, manual labour, you’ll need your steel toes and a hi-vis but you’ve probably all got them”

“uhh what’s the job...about?”

“oh yknow, normal stuff, a dwarven expeditionary force has landed on the south coast and their heavily armed scouts have been marching through villages frightening folks and setting up camps and stuff. Could cause you a bit of trouble but for twelve pound an hour you can’t really say no can you?”

And this would hopefully introduce them to the real effects of the political mess that’s been brewing. I think the orcs would introduce themselves to the dwarven military leaders just after the players first interact with the dwarves (and hopefully not immediately make an enemy of them by killing them) so they might get the chance to see this badass tanarukk outside of a battlefield travelling to the FOBs set up by the dwarves on the coast. I haven’t planned anything further but I think I’d like to see the game go in the direction of the players having to pick a side in the conflict and fight for them.

There’s also another thing about a lost, dead race that lives underground and has done something funky with the volcano that no-one knows about but idk if I should keep that because ripping off The Elder Scrolls any more than I already do might come across as gauche.

Nevertheless, the pictures are my first few runs at designing the tanarukk General Reeves and his two lieutenants one of whom is called Mel and is a barghest. I wanted to design a baddie who was fairly strong on his own but was practically unbeatable when accompanied by his army or his lieutenants so I gave Reeves a bunch of abilities to reflect that. I had to beef up the command abilities from existing monsters so that it was more advantageous for him to use his action to command his allies than use multiattack which was a difficult balance to strike. Also his magic sword has a whole special ability that lets him summon allies and shit and he has a secret third lieutenant and like I really put a lot of work into him despite this campaign not even threatening to start within the next year. Mel the barghest is a transmutation wizard which obviously juices the power level of everyone around her significantly and is a badass in her own right. The second lietenant doesn't have a name yet but is a lore bard who doesn't fight, he just organises and manages the army with his wisdom and charisma and the respect he garners from his senior position. 

I intend to go into just as much detail with the other three nations in terms of the key players in their army, their strategy, their B-plans and sleeve-aces but I want to leave gaps for the players to fill. If I balance each army in the same way with even the most powerful members only being as strong as the number of allies they have around them then I could have lieutenants die or be captured or have commanders die or have special squads die or desert or go AWOL for the party to replace which allows the players to make meaningful impact on whichever side they join (or whichever sides they conquer).

Even if this never gets off the ground, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed designing it thus far and fully intend to continue.

#125, Surah 23

THE QURAN READ-ALONG: DAY 125

Right... well, that was an exciting and unexpected science class. This section will be more normal, by the Quran’s standards. It’s kind of all over the place and covers a bunch of topics, but we’re starting with 23:17. It is a description of the seven heavens (actually called seven “paths” there, meaning each is on top of the other). Allah sends water from the sky in the form of rain, and can suck it back up to the sky just as easily. The rain makes plants grow, including one olive tree in particular:

And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters.

I’ll be real, idk what this is referring to. I don’t know if this is some special tree mentioned in a Jewish tradition or something that Mohammed is specifically referencing, or if he’s just being poetic. As far as I know there aren’t any trees on the modern Mount Sinai at all? Whatever. There’s an olive tree that makes tasty oil on Mt Sinai, wherever it is, and Allah wants you to know about it. Neutral.

Allah also provides people with milk from the “bellies” of cattle, in addition to their meat, and lets people travel across seas in boats. I mean, okay. This is all disjointed tbh, like all that those ayat really have in common is that they’re... about.... liquid......

Oh, for fuck’s sake.

And We verily sent Noah unto his folk, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other God save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)?

Well, let’s go through it again. Go ahead, Mohammed. Let’s see... 23:24, Noah’s people ask him why Allah didn’t send an angel or some other miracle, and they think that Noah is a bit loopy. Noah asks Allah for help. Allah tells him to build an ark and stick two of every creature in there, then tells him that everyone who is not in the ark is gonna die (bad! the rest is neutral). Noah and family--the dead son isn’t mentioned this time--get on the ark and praise Allah for saving them from “the wrongdoing folk”, who are all dead, then ask him to let them get off the damn boat, which he does. This was all a “test” from Allah, apparently.

And Allah sure loves his damn tests, as we’ve seen. After killing everyone not on the ark, Allah performed another test in a later generation (presumably Hud’s people) in 23:31. He sends a prophet to tell them to stop being polytheists. They say “no thanks and also if Allah exists why doesn’t he send an angel or sth bruv? Ain’t u just a regular guy?”, again. They don’t believe in resurrection or the afterlife and mock Hud because they don’t believe him.

Like Noah, Hud asks Allah for help. Allah says “lol just wait and see boyeeee”. And then he kills them all and “made them like as wreckage”. Another happy ending!!!

Mohammed says that this process was repeated in other generations and that no nation can avoid Allah’s punishment. Thank fuck, he does not actually go into the stories of Saleh and Shuaib again, he just says that in general Allah killed everyone who disbelieved in his prophets (bad!!!). He also says in that ayah that he made them follow each other into their disbelief and doom, so... as per usual, wtf is he complaining for, then?

Regardless, let’s finish up this particular chain of thought. Allah sent Moses and Aaron to the pharaoh and his people, but they refused to believe that they were prophets, so Allah destroyed them and then gave Moses “the scripture”. I’ll leave that as neutral because it only implies that they were destroyed for their disbelief instead of, you know, the terrible shit they did.

Our last ayah of the day is a curious one. 23:50:

And We made the son of Mary and his mother a portent, and We gave them refuge on a height, a place of flocks and watersprings.

What are we talking about here, exactly? A raised land with flowing water on it (no one knows how to translate the “flocks” part, most go for “a place of rest” or “peaceful place” or something)? Ibn Kathir has no idea, nor do the Jalals. Some scholars associate this with the “massacre of innocents” mentioned in the Bible, meaning it would be in Egypt, but nothing in the Quran as a whole or this ayah in particular references that event.

So others looked elsewhere. Damascus is one of several options thrown around, due to the ghuta of Damascus (now a wartorn hellhole but once a beautiful ring of greenery and streams around the city), but why... would they be in Damascus? It’s not really explained. People just associated that place with the description in the ayah despite there being no story linking them together. Another option brought up is Ramlah, though this appears to be solely based on a weak hadith in which Mohammed says that some guy will die at the spot in question, and the guy ended up dying in Ramlah.

Another opinion collected by Ibn Kathir is that this is the same place referenced in the story of Jesus’ birth in surah 19, where Allah makes a stream flow beside Mary and the newborn baby Jesus. Since we traced the story of Jesus’ birth in the Quran back to a Christianized story of Apollo’s birth, I wonder if this “raised land” is meant to be some variant of the miraculous creation of the island Delos, where Leto gave birth? The ayah above doesn’t specify when the “refuge on a height” incident happened, after all. We really don’t have anything to go off of here, since this “refuge on a height” thing is never mentioned again. Choose your own adventure, I guess!!

Jungkook rings the door bell quite earlier than you expected and you open the door to find him smiling sheepishly at you.

You’re going to start questioning your whole existence. 

Hoseok walks in without you inviting --yeah, he’s literally the owner of this apartment, like he ever needs that-- and you have to quickly follow him from his back. Hoseok smiles painfully wide at Jungkook and the boy quickly gets up on his feet and smiles back politely. 

“I’m Hoseok, the landlord of this place. And you are?” He pulled out his hand to offer a handshake which, Jungkook instantly shakes it. 

“Jungkook. Y/N’s partner.”

“Partner?” He repeated, tilting his head slightly to the side. 

“What he meant was--” You start but Hoseok cuts you off with a glare and you know better to keep your mouth shut.

“Yeah, I mean partners for our senior year project.” Jungkook’s smile fades a little and slightly winces at the pain from Hoseok’s firm grip on his hand.

“Oh, shit. Sorry.” He pulls away his hand, shrugging nonchalantly and his lips tugging into a fake smile. Jungkook shakes his head, saying that it’s alright while rubbing his hand. “I’m sorry for this request and I don’t know how long you’ve been here but Y/N and I need some discussion to do on her accumulated charges while staying in this apartment. Privately.” His voice is just as stern as how he looks and without arguing, Jungkook decides to oblige, packs his stuff, bid you goodbye and a see you tomorrow before walking out.

You slowly shut the door behind you and turn back to Hoseok.

“What the hell was that?!” 

Hoseok looks at you quietly from where he has been standing and giving an ‘are-you-fucking-kidding-me’ look at you.

“You should’ve answered your goddamn phone, Y/N. You know better. You know how much I hate waiting.” 

“My phone is in my room, charging.”

“Or you didn’t want me to bother you so you could spend an alone time with your ‘partner’.” Hoseok uses finger quotes at the last word and folds his arm in front of his chest again. “And I don’t even fucking see any worksheet or laptops around here either.”

“Stop, this is getting stupid.” 

“No, you should’ve texted me saying that you’re about to fuck some guy from college today so I wouldn’t have to waste my time banging on your door.” He eyes you from top to bottom, his eyes flickering with anger and something you never know that could exist in Jung Hoseok. “Showing off your legs like that..” He mutters under his breath.

“What’s your deal, Hoseok? Jungkook made it pretty clear that we are partners for the project and now you’re throwing tantrums at me?” You sigh and roll your eyes at him, leaning back to the door.

“Did you just-- roll your eyes at me?” He glares at you and takes a few steps closer towards you. You immediately regret it, suddenly feeling tiny after a full courage of talking back to him. 

You look away from his menacing gaze and start to quiver although you refuse to apologize. It isn’t your fault to begin with. If only he has higher tolerance..

“Who taught you to do that, kitten?” He whispers, his hands slams on the door on the sides of your head, looking down at you amusingly. “Jungkook?” His name sounds so bitter coming out from Hoseok’s lips. You shake your head vigorously, eyes looking down to your feet.
