A small collection

I do still intend to keep writing the other more detailed How to spot guides for each MBTI type individually, but in the meantime, I collected some interviews with several people of each type that you can click through and maybe it helps you see the similarities not just of the people of the same type, but also based on the high functions that they share. I also tried to not exclusively use native English speakers because I’m personally a bit fed up with the anglocentrism of this site and the internet in general (though of course I’m also constrained in my choices here that I can only use people that I know of, which are mostly European), but if I could find some, I included interviews of them speaking both English and their native language. Even if you don’t understand that language, I still recommend looking into those interviews. Not understanding what someone is saying can sometimes actually help focussing on their body language itself.

What does this question even fucking mean?

I apologize to this random reddit user, who I'm about to put on blast, but this question is such nonsense and it's nonsense in a way that is extremely common, especially on r/askphilosophy (where this was posted) but also just in general, and I want to talk about it.

First of all, as the top commenter points out, a "philosopher king" is a hypothetical type of ruler discussed by Plato, not a real category of king that actually existed. But I can forgive this user for not knowing this is where the term comes from, because it's just a piece of factual knowledge that they might not have. That's fine. The reason I find this question so dumb is because, like... suppose that "philosopher king" was a real category of ruler that existed in antiquity. What the fuck would it mean? Like, did this asker ever stop to think "what question am I asking? This category that I'm inquiring about, what defines it?"? No, they did not. They just heard a term and started using it without thinking about what it actually refers to. This is the ur-problem of like 80% of all bad thinking: speaking first and figuring out what you mean by it later.

Is a "philosopher king" just a king who happens to also be a philosopher? If so, then surely you can answer your own question about the existence of "philosopher presidents" by just googling around for world leaders who happen to also have philosophy degrees or whatever; I imagine that information is easily available. But if this is what you mean by "philosopher king", then the question doesn't seem very deep or interesting, right? I mean a king is just a guy, and a president is just a guy, so of course it might be the case that sometimes these guys happen to also write philosophy.

I suppose if the question was framed this way—"are there any recent world leaders who are also philosophers?"—I wouldn't find it so silly. But the way it's phrased sort of suggests that the asker believes there's some kind of like, underlying pattern they're noticing, or deeper meaning they can ascribe to this. Like a "philosopher king" is some special ontological category of ruler, beyond just "king who also happens to have written philosophy", and so the existence or not of "philosopher presidents" is like a fascinating and puzzling topic to ponder instead of just an incidental question about whether any world leaders who use the title "president" also happen to do philosophy.

Right? Do you see what I'm saying? It's like this user heard king Solomon or whatever the fuck referred to as a "philosopher king" once, and didn't even bother to try to parse what that means. Just went "I guess there's a special type of king called a philosopher king, I know this piece of information know". It's like an abdication of actually thinking about what anyone is saying to you.

Of course I'm inferring wildly based on a small amount of information here, but this is the general type of error that I see all the time, so I'm not really concerned with being appropriately epistemically cautious about whether this exact thing is what lead this user to ask their dumb question on r/askphilosophy. I'm riffing on this guy's question to articulate a broader point, and pattern matching it to a common thinking error.

I will say, though, r/askphilosophy seems to attract people who say shit that is dumb in exactly this way (as opposed to all the other ways you can be dumb), and so this has served me well as model for what these people are doing wrong.

Anyway, this is actually the root cause, one suspects, of the asker's knowledge gap that I mentioned at the beginning of the post. A "philosopher king" is not in fact some special category of king that really existed, but an idea discussed by Plato in the Republic. It's fine that this person doesn't know this, but if they had tried to figure out what "philosopher king" actually means before saying it, they probably would have learned this fact.

If I could give one piece of advice to everyone on Earth and have them really take it seriously, it would probably be "think about what you mean before your say it".

AITA for asking my partner not to interrupt me while I'm streaming?

Asking on here because she has Reddit and I don't want to upset her further while I ask for an outside consensus.

I stream video game content as a profession. Playthroughs, mods, tutorials, reviews, ect. I found streaming to be more profitable than pre-filmed video content. I'd say on average I can "work" for 10 - 30 hours a week.

She works on an alternating schedule where she does a week of full time hours then a week of part time hours. All in all, we work pretty reasonable hours between us, I feel, and we are agreeably not lacking in spending time together.

We routinely go on dates, we more often than not have dinner together, and I typically don't stream for more than 2-4 hours consecutively, so its not as if I'm locked up in my office for the majority of the time.

However over the last few months my partner has developed the habit of simply walking in whenever I'm streaming and starting up random conversations with me, playing her own games loudly in the background, constantly interrupting me to read out chat comments or ask questions about the game, ect.

Sometimes it isn't so bad, but generally its pretty disruptive. I wouldn't mind if it was just occasionally or if she just popped in now and then, but its grown to the point where its almost every single stream and I've noticed I've lost a handful of frequent viewers over it.

It came to an unpleasant confrontation over the weekend, when I was streaming a highly requested tutorial walkthrough for a recently released game and she decided to come in, try to sit on my lap and start a conversation about a client's dogs she met today.

I was trying to figure out a polite way to ask her to give me another 40 minutes so I could finish the quest line and shut it down for the day when two people in the chat began to make jokes about how she never leaves me alone and said it 'gave cam check vibes.'

I pretended not to notice, but she did, and clearly it hurt her feelings and she mumbled about having some things to do and left. I felt awful that her feelings were hurt so I closed the stream early and went to find her.

She was pretty upset about the comments and tried to get me to validate that she wasn't disruptive or unwelcome. I assured her that I don't mind the occasional visit or if she wants to play her own games in the background on mute/low volume/with earphones in, but that I have actually been meaning to ask her to give me a little more curtesy when I'm streaming because its hard to have dynamic engagement when I can't actually talk to anyone because she's talking non-stop or her own game volume is distorting the sound.

I tried to say it as gently as possible but it was clear that the more we discussed it, the more upsetting it was for her. She called time on the conversation by abruptly saying she'll just 'never so much as walk past the door' when I'm streaming, and that she didn't want to talk about it anymore.

She was only working a half-day today and I was streaming between mid-day and the early afternoon. When I said goodbye to her this morning she made sure to somewhat sarcastically assure me that she wouldn't dare interrupt my stream today, and she hoped it went well.

She refused to discuss it further when she came home, or over dinner, and since dinner she's shut herself in the conservatory and has been on the phone to a friend.

I'd like to discuss it further because I'm discontent with her being upset about it, but I'm also not particularly agreeable with me being in the wrong here. Streaming is my job. We pay equal expenses, so its not as if this is just a silly little fake job or hobby for me while she foots the bills. I rely on viewers to get paid, and when quite a few of them leave because I've had to stop playing for 20 minutes to listen to her chat, it could negatively impact my ability to bring home a reasonable contribution.

Ordinarily we can resolve any conflicts or disagreements quickly and fairly. We've never been the sort of couple to spend days being passive aggressive or refusing to talk.

With her being so resolute in being upset and not communicating, I'm at a loss for if I'm actually in the wrong or not for asking her to be more mindful of interrupting me and causing disruptions while I'm working.

So I heard you like pics.

Please bear with me (AND TEACH ME) how Tumblr works/if I'm doing it wrong! I'm literally the "How do you do, fellow young people?" meme. Our Etsy is linked (unless I messed that up!) Right now it's bare (LOT of work and VERY old photos in the banner) but we'll be posting some cossies soon that are ready to retire. Some of our prices sadly will have to rise (we undercharge honestly for the amount of time put into them... we just LOVE making them). Anyway...

These are our original designs. We have taken inspiration from different productions, from the US tour to Gothenburg to Australia to Japan, less UK because it gets the most attention and we like COLOR! but this is all us. Our goal is to a) have characters be recognizable and b) make swing unitards in palates that could pass as at least 3 characters for emergency. When our rentals go out, swing unitards go with them, and ultimately it's the director who decides what makes the final cut (so a less yellow Demeter for example--but we LOVE that one).

If we ever do a production of Cats with Chaz, you'll notice one in Red, White, and some Black (but mostly Red and White, with fan ears, that is a design David created and is Chaz's FAVORITE design of all time. Any time he does a show, if we're hired, that costume goes. Usually Electra, but any ensemble/swing kitty and can cover for Sillabub or in a pinch Bombalurina. Yuka wore it at Interlakes before she did Victoria on the last US Tour! You might notice an Admetus in tans and GREEN undertones--that was my design he loved. We also did the purple twins (which was vetoed and I said, "Okay" then did it anyway because I knew he'd love it, which he did!), and REBA Gumbie Tap Suit was completely mine (everyone thought I was out of my MIND when I started making it! Even David! Then the shoulder pads came, and the belt, and tail, and BEDAZZLING!!! SO MANY RHINESTONES!!!!) Our Misto coat lights up but we still have a lot to learn about arduino since we'd eventually like to make it blink to music. The Misto coat is also created to fit a multitude of sizes, basically the theatre using their department for alterations since we make use of stretch fabric. I've known Bronson for almost as long as Chaz (he even designed my author website!!!) so when I saw him cast, I showed him his costume (a much, much browner/redder Gus than most see--I was serious about liking color) and let him choose between two coats. He said he wanted pants and we went, "NO! PANTLESS PRODUCTION!" because we thought he was joking! We didn't realize... HE REALLY WANTED PANTS!!!! SORRY BRONSON! So shout out to Wichita for making him pants! LOL!

There is a HUGE joke about Tumble thirsting for Tugger more than the girls so you'll notice that with the Tugger ABOUUUOUOUOUOUOUOUUUUUUUUUT THAT.

Would anyone be interested in learning more about the casting process in general and things that directors/choreographers need to take into consideration? All are extraordinary and these are tough calls that aren't easy to make and based on other factors, including the ensemble at large, and sometimes huge changes are made.

Subway Boss Ingo 

You’re more likely a subordinate rather an a coworker, or perhaps you are a consultant for the subway? Perhaps you are a battle train participant. Or a secretary! 

Either way, Ingo is a bit reserved about his feelings. He’s quite professional that way, he’s worried it would be seen as inappropriate. A boss and a coworker? The power dynamics makes it uncomfortable for him. 

Outside of work, he feels a bit flustered to see you outside of uniform. Whatever clothes you like, it’s..nice to see how you represent yourself. He wants to learn more about you. 

He’s also very attentive to your suggestions or questions about the subway. He’ll debate and tell you his reasoning should he disagree, but there is a notable softness in his expression. He likes debating with you. 

He’s very in denial, please bear with him. 

It’ll likely take some initiative from you or intervention from Emmet, or intervention from anyone really, to actually start any sort of relationship. And it’s Ingo, he’s as fair as they come. No one really minds.

Also It was starting to affect his work with how much he was getting distracted from trying to hide his feelings for you. 

Any harassment you get from passengers gets a full angry glare. The stern reputation Ingo has comes into full effect. 

Outside work Ingo is very affectionate, he likes to discuss certain work topics with you, and the experiences you’d had or shared that day.

As a fellow warden, he’s much more at ease with you. 

If either of you are the senpai, he gets noticeable shyer. There is a vague sense of worry as he wonders whether his feelings are appropriate, though he can’t quite put where that notion comes from. 

There might be a period where he distances himself from you a little, saying that Lady Sneasler needs his help for something. He just needs to sort out his feelings. Lady Sneasler will scold him. 

Thankfully there aren’t as many regulations in place in Hisui, and after some confiding in Calaba or Irina, he feels much more comfortable expressing himself. 

Now he just has to deal with his regular awkwardness. 

He takes your suggestions to heart, as well, especially if you’re his senpai. If he finds something odd, he will comment on it though. 

If you two are in adjacent regions, he comes by often to travel with you when it’s time to give out the reports. You spend a lot of time chatting about your respective Nobles, their kin, and their behaviours, as well as how to survive out in the world you live in. 

It’s just you and him on those quiet walks, which he enjoys immensely. With you around, he feels less alone in the world. 

If your nobles end up spending more time with each other as a result of your bonding, and just so happen to create an egg…well, Congrats! He will glare at the commander should he try to say anything about it.

I've written and rewritten this post so many times, and I've debated even posting it at all.

And before we begin: I am not trying to make anyone feel bad, or place blame on anyone. I understand that many of you were manipulated or worse. But this is part of how this jackass and his behavior affected me, so I want to talk about it.

The first time I looked at his blog, it was after the wonderful @shelbydelrey messaged me to warn me that there was a new person in the fandom actively attacking Grace fans. Because I write many Tommy x Grace x OC-centric fics, I was concerned, so I took a peak at his blog to see what was going on.

And I have to say, I have never felt so unwelcome in (at least a part) of a fandom in my life.

Something I haven't seen discussed a ton is just the blatant bullying and misogyny that this man publicly displayed. Post after post of him attacking Grace fans, picking fights, laughing at them, shaming them, hurling insults at them...He'd go out of his way to find content featuring Grace and comment hate on them, and then laugh about it with his followers. And this misogyny wasn't exclusive to Grace, but seemed to spread to other women as well, just based on some of the non-Grace related posts I also saw that he made.

Now, I actually don't give a shit whether people like Grace or not. I personally have a soft spot for her, but I don't expect other people to share in my feelings, and I respect their opinions. Most of the time, if I see a post hating on her, I just keep scrolling.

But this...this really got to me. It was so disheartening to see someone behave in what-- at least to me--was such a blatantly and obviously misogynistic way while being cheered and egged on by a significant part of the fandom. It made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. And considering his popularity and how so many people seemed to see no problem with his behavior, it made me question if I was even welcome in this fandom at all, and several times I considered deleting my blog and my fics and leaving entirely.

I'm not going to lie; it broke my view of this fandom a little bit. I can't begin to describe how saddening it was to see that this behavior was not only accepted, but actively enabled and seemingly practiced by so many. Obviously now I know that there were far more complicated things going on behind the curtain, but at the time, that's what it appeared to me: that an extremely large part of the fandom saw nothing wrong with speaking about women--real or fictional--in horrifically offensive and demeaning ways, and openly bullying those who did not share their views on certain characters/parts of canon.

I became paranoid, even after blocking him, that he or one of his followers would find my blog, and I would be the next target of a barrage of hate and harassment. So I blocked most people I saw associating with him (I've unblocked most of you now). Because it felt like that only way to protect myself. Not only did I not want to ever be associated with the kind of behavior he displayed on his blog, but I also was terrified of getting dogpiled onto by his followers, even for the simple act of having blocked him. I was literally convinced that if my blog was noticed by him or anyone closely associated with him, I would get run out of the fandom. So I chose to remain in my own little bubble of mutuals who I trust, and did not make any significant efforts to reach out to or connect with new people.

Again, this is not me trying to call anyone out except for him. I know many of you--or at least, I hope many of you--did not intend to enable a misogynist monster or a bully. And ultimately he was the one who created this hostile environment, and it is very possible, knowing now that he has a habit of making alternative accounts, that many of his "followers" who showed support for his behavior may have just been him on other accounts, or sending himself asks via anon.

I don't really have a specific point to this post. I just wanted to share these feelings somewhere, I suppose. I hate this man for what he has done to so many of you and this entire community. And for how he made me feel so frightened and unwelcome by huge parts of this fandom.

The vague concepts that I like:

Varian leaving Corona on a simple quest that turns into something a lot grander along the way. Let the boy have his own epic adventure. ;D

The potential to learn more about Varian’s family, (This includes his mother and The Brotherhood.)

Reuniting with Cassandra and finding out what she has been up to.

Varian being given more opportunities to use his knowledge of alchemy and engineering. Doing things like problem solving, helping others, or using it for self defense. (Since this is part of what makes him special.)

Maybe finding out if there is anything special about Varian’s hairstripe? Is it nothing? Is he cursed? Does he have some unknown magic power? Is it some prophecy bullshit? I want to knowww.    

Things I like about 7K:

I like Varian’s teal vest. Out of everything 7K related, it’s probably the only thing I have no real issues with.

Don’t worry, I’m not being completely serious with that comment. 

My Vat7K thoughts and ‘opinions’:

This AU has potential, but some stuff would need to be reworked in order to make more sense.

    Mode of transportation:

-Why wasn’t Varian provided with horses and a nice caravan? He's not only the Royal Alchemist/Engineer of Corona, but the son of a marquess. An uncovered cart wouldn't give him and his supplies adequate protection from hazardous weather conditions/potential enemy attacks.

-Would Princess Nuru's parent/s allow her to leave in some dinky cart?

The trials:

-If Donella and Ulla already completed the trials then what happened to the totems that they used to open the portal?    

-Did someone reset the trials after they had been completed? Even if they reset on their own this leads to a huge issue with the plot. Other people could have already completed the trials. All you would have to do is find someone who did and bypass the trial completely.

-Why does Varian and his group struggle with the trials if they have a cheat sheet journal? The implications here are honestly a little insulting.

-Since Princess Nuru joins the main group much later on, would she be able to take part in the trials out of order? If so, then does taking part in only a portion of the trials disqualify her from entering the Eternal Library, or can anyone enter once it has been opened?   

The Demanitus device:

-Since this is an AU I’m fine with the Demanitus device still being intact. The problem however is that the intended use of that device was weather manipulation. It could alter wind trajectory. This wouldn’t be all that useful for creating a portal.

-Varian is already capable of building interdenominational portals. He also has access to Demanitus’ tomb. Thus it is entirely likely that he could locate the notes and blueprints needed to create the portal without completing the trials. 

The Eternal Library:

-Having the end goal be to reach some treasure trove of knowledge is probably going to be a bad idea. If all knowledge is at your disposal then what’s the point in experimenting? Whatever life and drive that Varian still had left would slowly be drained away by this prospect. He wouldn’t be trying anything new. He would simply be following instructions.    

Characters:

Varian:

- Who let Varian leave the house in that ridiculous boy scout outfit? That’s a bigger crime than any of the ones he committed in TtS.

-All jokes aside, there are real problems with Varian’s portrayal in this AU. By making everyone and their mother a genius, alchemist, and or an engineer, you’re robbing Varian of everything that made him special. He doesn’t feel like the main character of this story. He’s just the guy with the journal. There are no big moments where he has an opportunity to really shine. Even in the final battle he has to be rescued from becoming a meat suit.    

Varian’s family

Ulla:

-Ulla essentially abandoned her entire family in order to find the Eternal Library. There is no other way to put it. This wasn’t some day trip or mini vacation. It could have taken her years to complete the trials. Even if she had returned home, she would have missed out on a lot of Varian’s childhood. Don’t you think this would have a lasting impact on his emotional development?               

 Given this information it’s not a plot twist whatsoever that she turned out to be the final boss. Which bothers me greatly because it is just reaffirming the one thing I hated about Cassandra’s villain arc. That somehow villainy is inherited from one’s parents.            

 Regardless of her being ‘redeemed’ or not, I’m giving her an F on the good mom scale. The quest wasn’t even time sensitive. She could have waited for Varian to become an adult before going on this journey. Heck, she could have taken him along for the ride…    

-Okay, so I’ll admit that I don't actually like the name Ulla. I’d probably like it if it was pronounced Yoolla, but uh-lla and oo-lla is on level with Horace for me.

Ulla’s relatives:

-Does anyone find it creepy that Ulla’s family are almost all Varian clones? Let them be their own characters… This feels lazy.  

 -Also, why would Varian give up on his quest just because he found his family? I get that they are like minded people, but he’s supposedly traveling with like minded people??? This feels OoC. Varian is a very goal oriented character. He doesn’t give up so easily.    

Supporting cast:

Donella:

-What is her goal exactly? She’s the one who returned Ulla’s journal to Quirin in the first place. If she really thought there were secrets inside then she should have come to this conclusion beforehand… 

-There was no reason for her to send Hugo to get the fire totem or to have him infiltrate Varian’s group. Everything could have been resolved with a little honesty. Talk people!!! Seriously, I hate when plots have pointless drama or misunderstandings because someone bottles up their god damn emotions.

-When you give it some real thought the whole plot legit makes no sense. Why wait for Varian to turn 18? If she had been keeping tabs on him then she would have given Hugo more information. Instead she lets him go into some big mission completely blind? Way to go… You left him out here thinking that Varian is some sweet naive summer child who wouldn’t snap him like a twig… You’re lucky that he makes it out of this story alive.            

Princess Nuru:

-Her character is severely underdeveloped. Much like Yong she feels like an afterthought. Like she was created to fill a void rather than to be an actual character.

-Sure, let’s force the sole female character into the role of the ‘mom friend’. That won’t be stereotypical at all. 

-Why does Nuru not know anything about Varian? She’s a princess. Such people soak up loads of political gossip through osmosis. Even after Varian’s reformation he would still be a hot topic of discussion. I’m hella sus, girl…

-I get that her kingdom was in a state of crisis, but would she really be allowed to just leave with a group of strangers? Why wasn't she provided with some sort of guard at the very least?

Yong:

-There is nothing particularly interesting about his character. He’s just the baby of the group.    

Hugo: 

-If Hugo is supposed to be some stealthy street smart thief, then why does his personality completely contradict this? You can try to say that it’s just an act, but he’s always portrayed as an obnoxious player, like some pompous flirt. Stuff like that would make him notorious and easily recognizable. Believe me when I say that this behavior isn’t ideal for someone who’s entire job is to go on undercover missions.  Donella would not be pleased. She didn’t raise a cheap half assed Flynn Rider 2.0 knockoff did she?

-I hate to be the one to point this out, but the fandom might have inadvertently turned Hugo into a full on Gary Stu.  Let me explain. Often times I see people saying that Hugo is ‘smarter’ and ‘more capable’ than Varian. Did this man bring a kingdom down to it’s knees twice over? Why isn’t he using his skills in alchemy and engineering to make a fortune? He’s supposed to be greedy. That’s his whole gimmick isn’t it? Then why is he letting those smarts go to waste? He wouldn’t need to be a lapdog to a manipulative old woman if this was the case. It doesn’t matter if he feels indebted to her. A smart and resourceful person would be using their intellect wisely.

Animal companions:

Prometheus:

-Is this just Varian in donkey form? Why do they look so much alike?

-Am I the only one who finds it a little humiliating for Varian to leave on a big adventure with a derpy looking donkey? I get that this is probably the point, but I think it's a little sad.

Ruddiger:

-Ruddiger is awesome. I just think that people forget that he exists sometimes.

Olivia:

-My only issue here is that people are taking information about Hugo from his D&D counterpart. They should be treated like completely separate characters. Otherwise I have no problems with the little mouse companion. I think it's a cute idea.

Thoughts on relationships:

-There should be other potential suitors for Varian in Vat7K. 

-Varian is a Flynnigan Rider fanboy. Suffice to say that his vision of romance is likely to be incredibly idealized.

-I know that this fandom loves it’s angst fodder, but let’s think for a moment on the lasting consequences of betrayal. Varian already has trust issues. That paranoia is gonna linger in the back of his mind forever regardless of how many healthy connections he makes throughout the years. If he is betrayed by a love interest, those feelings are only going to be amplified tenfold. You don’t just kiss and make up after something like that. He likely would want to close himself off completely from being in romantic relationships as a self defense mechanism.

Varigo:

-The first thing I saw from this relationship was an adorable confession scene animatic. That was hella cute shit. I was like “Hell yes! Nerds in love!”. Was that what I got? No, but that disappointment set in much later.    

My issues with Varian’s portrayal in the relationship.

-If you have to change a character’s whole personality in order to fit your ship preferences, then at this point they are no longer the same character. They might as well be an OC.

-Why does the fandom push toxic stereotyping? (Basically the seme/uke nonsense that you see in BL manga.) Varian usually gets dumbed down so that Hugo can swoop in. Varian has to be short, weak, and naive... Why is this so heavily enforced? Why can’t people portray things     differently without the fandom losing their collective shit?     

-Why is Varian portrayed as not being street smart? He lived on his own for months while being harassed by guards. He went to prison… He worked with terrorists… He is friends with former criminals. He is acquainted with pub thugs. ???? Sorry, but he’s not gonna be impressed with Hugo’s whole shtick… It’s not something new to him.    

-Also… Varian may be skinny, but he’s still relatively athletic. He has the endurance to run round trip through a magical blizzard. He can parkour like a pro (When he’s feeling confident.). He can build huge boilers and giant automatons. So he’s probably used to some level of manual labor. He can leap down great distances. Somehow he can scoot Xavier across the ground with no issues. o__O; What part of this sounds weak to you all?

-His height as an adult is debatable. He may remain short forever. He could grow tall. Maybe he even has a late growth spurt.

-Regardless of his height Varian shouldn’t always be portrayed as some uwu submissive fragile little flower. Let there be some equality in the relationship.

-For reference on Varian being assertive and flirty I would recommend rewatching Great Expotations.              

My issues with Hugo:

-Hugo triggers my anxiety because he gives off the vibes of a sexual predator. Unlike Eugene, Hugo doesn’t fall in love right away. Any interest he has in Varian is for self gratification and that makes me hella uncomfortable. If you combine this Varian being treated as naive and innocent. Then you can understand why I want to chase Hugo ass away with a flip flop. 

-The way Hugo speaks to Varian is gross. Constantly calling him “sweetcheeks” and other objectifying terms… It just solidifies my view that he’s not capable of keeping his mind out of the gutter for a second…

A note to the fandom:

Oh boy, I went a bit overboard… Please don’t think of me as an enemy because of this post. We can still be friends. I’m fine with you all sticking with 7K. I just wanted to raise awareness of some of the things that I have noticed about the plot and characters. Whether it has any influence on your views or not is up in the air. If anything this can be used to help troubleshoot and improve upon the AU.

At this point it’s unlikely that Disney has interest in creating a Varian spinoff series/comic/novel/etc. It would be awesome if they did, but I won’t get my hopes up.

So in the meantime, does anyone want to band together and brainstorm ideas? I feel like we could have a great time coming up with scenarios for something new. 

Advice/suggestions/additional misc notes: 

-Don’t stalk or harass the creators of this AU.

-Do not pass HC’s off as canon facts. This includes pushing 7K onto others as a canonical continuation of Tangled the Series.

-You should never threaten or bully people who do not share your opinions or HC’s. Try channeling those negative emotions into doing something positive instead.

-Do not bully or try to ‘socially cancel’ people who ship other pairings. Don’t like a ship? Scroll past it and move on with your life.

-Tag fics appropriately. Express content in detail. Don’t bait and switch. Don’t rant and rave or be malicious in any way.

-For some reason there are people who enjoy making ‘white boy’ jokes about Hugo. These same people often exaggerate Varian’s skin tone in order to put more emphasis on this. I find it pretty distasteful. Would you tolerate this behavior aimed at any of the other characters? If the answer is “No.” then stop.

-There are people who use the trans tag when all they really want to do is gender swap the character to fit their smut preferences. Objectification is not representation. (To be clear, I'm not saying all trans smut is like this. The type of storytelling I'm talking about is obvious to spot. You'll know it if/when you see it. Though hopefully you won't have to see it.)

If you want to HC Varian or any other character as trans because it makes you feel closer to the character, then by all means do so. You’re valid and this is perfectly reasonable.

I may face slack for not sharing the trans Varian HC personally, but I’m in the mindset that we need more characters who were born male that do not conform to society's norms. It’s incredibly important for boys/men to see that they can sew, cook, and clean without these activities being treated as if they are somehow emasculating. Getting rid of toxic gender stereotypes is the first step to a future where people can be accepted as equals.

Kotoko Yuzuriha and Love

Hello Milgram fandom ! So while I prepare my longer Kotoko theory post (the post about Pink-Shirt-Girl), I wanted to make a shorter post about something that has been on my mind for a while now, and I wanted to invite some discussion to it with this post !! Basically: Kotoko has a lot of references to love in her character. So many in fact that I really do feel like it might be relevant. Firstly, let's start with the most prominent example

Girl friend, what does this mean. From the probably hundreds of questions that were asked to Mikoto and Kotoko, this one was one of the twenty that were picked out. And considering how Mikoto's questions were used to foreshadow parts of his MV like the phone call with his mother, I feel like this could very well mean something important that will be explained later on Another thing that I feel is important to comment on is her cover songs, specifically her cover song in T2, Streaming Heart

(source: Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki) Now to be completely fair, a large majority of Deco's library has to do with the theme of relationships, so it's not like Kotoko is necessarily special in that regard. But when you add in the fact that Streaming Heart could be connected to Monoprisoner, Mikoto's T1 cover, abd a few of the lyrics like > "You're a weakling, aren't ya?" (tfw useless weaklings won't shut up and let you protect them like how dare they /j) The choice feels very deliberate and I feel like it is meant to tell us more about Kotoko's character than we're made to believe. These next two points are a pretty big stretch, but I'm going to mention them anyway so I can gloat about being right if I end up being right /j So, Kotoko's birthday art.

I know. She is very beautiful. But more than that, the fruit associated with her cake is the Dragon Fruit, which on one hand is absolutely genius considering the first kanji in Kotoko's name means Japanese Harp (according to the milgram wiki) and that instrument, called a koto funnily enough, has connections to dragons and protection, which fit Kotoko very well (the urge to make a Milgram name meanings analysis post is rising) However, the Dragon Fruit also has connections to love

Now the most likely answer why the dragon fruit was chosen (especially since I could only really find this on one website) is the koto thing I mentioned earlier. But I did find this, so I thought I'd note it down And lastly, probably the biggest stretch of all:

Deep Cover's MV coming out on Mahiru's birthday...is probably a coincidence let's be real. But considering how much love has been foreshadowed for Kotoko's character, her MV coming out on the birthday of Mahiru fucking Shiina feels like something to note This post wasn't comprehensive at all and was mostly just a bunch of rambling about things I've noticed and thought about, but I would love to hear if anyone has any interpretations of what this could mean overall ! PS: I wrote half of this post dead fucking tired after an all nighter. if you see any typos, no you don't

How do you think the other courtiers and Nadia would react if MC got up without saying a word and proceeded to pour their own drink right on valirius head and leaned in real close and said “oops”? I saw a scene like this in a show and thought it was the most badass thing ever xx

Well, it's going to be fun!

Countess Nadia

As a well-bred ruler of the state, she is extremely amazed. Even more: she's in shock. Moreover, it is unclear why exactly she is more in shock – from Valerius' antics or because of the way the MC answered him.

The surprised Countess runs up to MC and Valerius, wondering what happened, who first started this whole nightmare and for what purpose it was set up. Of course, the question is: "who started it first?" rhetorical. She squints irritably at the blushing Valerius, who clearly did not expect that this act would be noticed.

Nadia reprimands the culprit first: "Consul, I did not expect this from you, your behavior is unacceptable and from this day on I forbid you to appear in rooms where others gather with a glass of wine" – even such a harmless remark can hurt Valerius' self-confidence.

After talking to the adviser, she slowly turns to the MC and already addresses them, with the same stern expression on her face. Yes, the Countess is strict, but very fair and wants everyone to get what they deserve. "MC, I understand that you are angry at Valerius because of this terrible act, but try not to do it again. This is not worthy of any reaction. Now let me deal with your stain on your clothes."

As a result, Valerius, hurt by pride, goes to wash his hair and grumbles, and Nadia leaves MC next to her to discuss what happened. She intends to have this conversation with both MC and Valerius when he gets himself in order.

"MC, I am very ashamed of my adviser, I apologize for his antics. I'll talk to him and try to make sure he doesn't try to embarrass you anymore."

Nadia will definitely make Valerius apologize to MC. And the MC will also be obliged to apologize for what he did: she doesn't want people around her to conflict or hate each other.

Quaestor Valdemar

They are not doing anything to stop what is happening. Seriously, they absolutely don't care about this brawl, they just act as a silent observer who came to watch an unfunny cheap performance.

Not a single emotion flashes on their face, but their eyes are closely watching both MC and Valerius. But at the same time Valdemar is not on anyone's side.

When the MC takes and pours wine on Valerius' head, the reaction still appears: they laugh softly, hissing into their fists, squinting their eyes. It's almost impossible to see or hear.

Since their face is hidden by a medical mask, it is difficult to determine: is Valdemar funny or are they just snorting contemptuously? Oh, no, it's really something like a laugh. They haven't had this much fun in a long time.

At the end of this meeting, they will not say anything to MC or Valerius, but they will remember this case for a long time.

Valdemar could not resist and nevertheless inserted their remark: "Valerius, you should not have taken this fatal step. Your pride is wounded," and then spreads into a wide toothy smile that can be seen even through the mask.

In their opinion, this is a good way to put the arrogant Valerius in his place, so they have nothing against it.

Pontifex Vulgora

Get ready. Their laughter will shake the whole room, and Valerius' rage will become uncontrollable, because "no one dares to laugh at the supreme consul!". But Vulgora clearly doesn't care.

"FUCK, VALERIUS, NOW YOUR HEAD LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE ALREADY HAD YOUR SKULL CRUSHED!"

They catch judgmental glances at themselves, but they don't care at all. They laugh uncontrollably, flavoring their laughter with prickly and witty comments. Finally, this reception has become less boring.

Vulgora does not care about the condemnatory views and comments of everyone present. In a fit of emotion, they can hit something in a hurry and it will definitely suffer.

For example, it can be a vase. And it will be noisy until the Pontifex releases them and they come to their senses, or until the Countess calms them down.

But even after that, they will remember this situation for a long time and make rude jokes on this topic.

Vulgora are even proud that they did not miss this reception and saw the spectacle while being at the forefront.

Preator Vlastomil

Looks at the spectacle with a bit of surprise. Not that what was happening was important to him, because all this time he was busy looking at the worms that he carried in the folds of his clothes and woke up only when he heard Valerius's indignant scream.

"What's going on here?! You are scaring my children!" – he is outraged, for the most part, not by what the MC did, but by the fact that because of Valerius, who began to resent loudly, his worms hid back in the folds of his clothes and now refuse to come out again.

Therefore, he discards indignation and collects material for gossip related to Valerius. This is a great reason to put him in front of everyone in an unfavorable light.

Do not be surprised if in a few days the whole palace will be talking about it. Vlastomil, of course, if he is suspected, will say that he has nothing to do with it, but since he is the only most avid gossip here, you should not believe him.

Valerius' reputation has suffered because of him.

Procurator Volta

Like Vlastomil, she wasn't particularly interested in this meeting. She was fascinated by the food she had secretly brought into the room and was just eating all the time.

Exactly until the room was filled with the smell of poured wine on Valerius' hair. She giggles softly, unable to contain her laughter. Valerius is always so proud and arrogant, and now he's so awkward and funny.

"Now Valerius smells so nice of the drink!" – she squeaks.

If Vlastomil is the main gossip of the palace, then Volta deservedly takes second place. Together with him, she, occasionally laughing, and discussing with him all the awkwardness of the incident.

When the performance is interrupted by Nadia's remarks, Volta quickly loses interest in this small scandal and returns to eating again.

You dropped the notebook you held in your hand. One of the disadvantages of your powers was that you couldn't control when you were going to have a vision.

You weren't going to let Steve make a mistake, and you weren't going to give Ross the nod either. Of course, there was another way, one they evidently hadn't thought of.

In fact, no one knew that man was going, apart from Tony, and you had never trusted him. Of course, you had seen a lot of things.

Having visions meant that you were not always going to heed them all, as it was very easy to change the course of what would happen; however, sometimes it gave some advantages.

"Do you know what it comes to?" Steve asked you, and you were just about to inform him when Vision told them.

"To something that won't suit us," you answered dryly.

Steve signaled to Wanda and Vision to continue, but he stopped you. "What exactly do you mean? "he questioned, mortified.

"Well... it has to do with the Sentinels and all that stuff I lived on the run from for a long time," you said, looking him in the eye.

Steve nodded; he understood, but that didn't mean he was going to let it happen.

Sitting there while that horrible man told lies was one of the hardest things you had ever done in your life.

Not to mention the pressure they wanted to put on you afterwards to sign the Accords.

"I have to save Bucky," Steve told you after the discussion you had with Stark.

"I know, and you also know that I can help you," you replied.

"I don't want you to be in danger...

"You know I'm not going to sign them," you interrupted him.

"I know, but I need you to be safe. I'll get you... as soon as I can. You know they'll be looking for me.

"Uh, the right Captain America is going to break the rules," you scoffed.

"Y/N," Steve scolded you.

"Don't worry about me, Steve; I'll be fine; you know I have my contacts." You smiled; you knew what was going to happen, but you wouldn't let it.

You had your own plan, and this was where you would cause the future to be different. In your vision, you had gone with Steve to rescue Bucky and ended up fighting Stark and the others at an airport.

Now you would go ask the mutants you knew for help. Erg could help you escape; he knew everything to do with the subway, while John could warn you in case they were chasing you, and as an additional plan, Clarice could give you a way out through a portal.

You hadn't said anything to Steve either; you knew he didn't want anyone else involved, but you weren't going to let the Accords ruin their lives either.

Getting the help of the other mutants was easy; you simply had to tell them what was going on and show them the Accords document that Ross had given them.

No mutant was going to sign the Accords, so you told them your plan, and they all agreed to help you. Esme had even told you of a place they could not enter if you were chased and would shelter you.

You saw the old factory; you had to get them out of there. Bucky in a few minutes was going to wake up.

"Who's in there?" Sam asked.

You grimaced; Steve wasn't supposed to involve any more people, but there was Sam, who was supposed to have nothing to do with it and should be out of danger.

"Y/N? I told you to take shelter. Steve scolded you as soon as he saw you, and Sam was perplexed.

"Why are you still here?"

"Because I care about you, you asshole."

"I don't want to put you in danger."

"You won't.   I have old friends, so Steve, we have the plan to escape.

"We're going to be on the run," Sam said.

"We mutants know a place where the authority Ross has can't do anything; they'll take us there." I talked to my contacts, and it's all arranged.

"Did you know what was going to happen and not tell me?"

"If I told you, you would surely do everything to make it happen; I got a way out; don't worry, Lorna and Marcos will take care of getting Wanda and Clint to safety... "

"How do you know...?"

"Steve, I know a lot of things—more than you think." We have to hurry; they will be waiting for us at the airport, but they will be bored, and by the time they realize we won't arrive, it will be too late.

"Bucky... "

"You can come with us; they will help him there too."

"How do you know these people?" How do you know we can trust them? Sam questioned.

"It's a long, old story from when the Sentinel program was active."

"How much longer will we wait?" Rhodey complained.

"They should be here by now," Tony replied. He didn't know what he would tell Ross; no one knew where the others were.

EPISODE 7: SOMETHING SHE MIGHT LIKE... note: this chapter's written part is longer but very important, so! remember to read it

"No offense, but how else would anyone follow you?" Lumine raised her eyebrows as she put down the plate with dumplings, "If the person got a professional camera and all, then I don't think it would be hard for them to get a tracking device and just plant it in your car."

The main topic of the dinner was, obviously, who took the photos. You couldn't blame the twins for being curious and asking questions, the case was on your mind all the time, too.

"The car was locked, Lumine. Not a single sign or anyone breaking in." Scaramouche replied, annoyance evident in his voice.

"Then how else on earth?"

This was something that also bugged you. Your boyfriend was literally swearing he saw no one following you, and yet someone did. When Lumine first proposed the existence of a tracking device, Scaramouche disagreed instantly, saying how there was no chance someone broke inside.

But you couldn't help and feel like this was possible.

"Could someone put it somewhere on the car?" You asked.

Both Scaramouche and Lumine looked at each other, and then her gaze wandered to her brother.

"…I mean, someone could put it under the car? I saw people do it."

You looked at Scaramouche. Despite his usual frown, you noticed the uneasiness underneath it. To realize that someone was constantly aware of where you were going was a terrible thing, you could only imagine. You grabbed his hand under the table and gave it a light squeeze.

He squeezed back.

"I'll check later."

"With potatoes?" Your boyfriend asked. Honestly, you were kinda curious about them too. You never had dumplings with potatoes, out of all fillings…

"You want some?" Aether smiled, a dumpling already on his fork.

"No."

Still, the said dumpling ended up on his plate anyway. He stared at it and, honest to god, for a second you thought its about to get stabbed with his glare alone.

"Aether, can I have one too?"

"…sorry, Y/N, I have only six dumplings left…"

You glared at him, "So this is how you treat your friend… you pick their boyfriend over them…"

"No, it's not like this!" Aether waved his hands, a hint of amusement on his face. This quickly turned into a friendly bickering between you and him.

You didn't even notice when suddenly, half of the potato dumpling ended up on your plate.

When you noticed it, you smiled at Scaramouche.

will there ever be a new fanfic?

This is only one of the many, many messages I received in the last weeks and months and I thought I could take my time to answer some questions now.

First of all I wanna say thank you for all your sweet words and I really didn't want to make anyone worry about me. That being said, I think there's no nice way to say this. So let's go:

I'm leaving this fandom for good. Well, I think in my head I left it already months ago.

It's not cause of the band and I won't discuss any of the current drama. This fandom has often treated me very nicely but other days things were really not fun, especially here on tumblr. I think in the end I fell out of love with this online life here.

There are other things that happened in this fandom that I won't speak about here -since it's private stuff - so please refrain from asking me further questions about this. I already got a few messages about so many different people here and I won't talk shit about anyone. So please be kind to the people here! ♡

So obviously, no, there won't be any new fics or any new art for this fandom. I will not update any of the current fics and I will also delete the Discord Server at the end of the month. I will let my ao3 stay online for now, but I also can't promise I will keep it up forever. I will notice you though if that happens.

Instead of calling someone a creepy conspiracy theorist because they interpret a photo (and real life comments and actions) differently than themselves, maybe they should try looking at things from another angel. This obsession with seeing Jensen as perfect and constantly having the time of his life is ridiculous and points to a huge bias. I’ll be honest, the particular picture in question, where Jensen looks in pain, could be him "living the music" but to me, he does not look like he’s just grooving. Also, there is video of the concert, so it’s not like people’s opinions are only based on photos.

The last time Jensen performed at a con, he was yelling, not singing, and yet they praise his amazing performance. Jensen has a lovely voice when he isn’t straining it, and is a good performer (usually), but that doesn’t actually mean he is an amazing, Uber talented singer. He was very good as Dean, but to say he never had over the top moments or ones that didn’t quite connect, is just not true. Saying he’s liberal and a huge ally is a huge stretch seeing as he is very closed mouthed on politics in general (I don’t actually blame him there, as if I were famous I’d want to appeal to the widest audience and would stick to discussing my art). Saying he likes Destiel now because he learned the hard way that criticizing the stupid ship gets him outright hate and death threats, is embracing willful ignorance. Jensen and Danneel can only be viewed as couples goals, despite the fact that their body language screens anything but affection. Jared is the bad guy because he cracked the illusion that Jensen is a perfect friend, professional and gentleman, and had a "tantrum" on Twitter because he didn’t let Jebsen off the hook or bail him out, for once, for his shitty actions around the prequel. Jensen supports Ukrainian and really cares about the issue, despite the fact that he starred in a commercial promoting Atomic Heart. Anyway, my point is the man is not perfect, no one is, but as soon as they see any criticism, they call the person delivering it crazy, a hater, or a miserable person who is just projecting.

I love my family, but that doesn’t mean I think it or each family member (myself included) is without flaws.

I started watching Supernatural as a Dean and Jensen fan. I was crazy about Dean until later seasons when he just got angrier and more hypocritical. At first, I admired Ackles for his love for Jared and humility, but his behavior (his inconsistency at cons, and how he talked about Jared lovingly one minute, then criticizing him at JIB or joking at his expense when he’s not there, while calling him brother in the next breath) would not allow me to keep blindly sighing over him. Not to mention, I noticed how his stories were always humble (or not so humble) brags. He isn’t consistent and changes for the crowd he’s in.

I’m sorry, but if you are the one who only sees someone as perfect and can’t acknowledge any flaws to the point that you need to attack anyone who dares mention one, then you are the one without a balanced view. Our observation are subjective, obviously, and you don’t have to agree with how someone elde interprets something, but to instantly write them off as just a hater or lying (unless it’s a provable lie, or delusion with no proof like hellers and cockles shippers) maybe take a look at your own objectivity and need to go to battle for someone you don’t actually know.

It saddens me that Jensen has such judgemental, toxic fans that only care about fetishiz*ing him. Then I remember there are also fans like you, who are able to see him as a real and complex person. Thank you for this beautiful post! 💕💕💕

I think the reason why they immediately resort to bullying and gaslighting is because they know they stand no chance of making eloquent, balanced arguments because they lack objectivity. I mean all they do is project, not only on others but on Jensen especially, he needs to be the fantasy they created and is not allowed to stray from that perfect image. I cannot imagine how painful that must be to him. No human is perfect and we all just want to be loved for who we are, not for some false image others build in their attempt to exploit our beauty, like in his case.

I'm curious about your thoughts about the Glee subreddit and morality. When I was active on that sub, I left some time back because of the insane Rachel glazing and Santana slander, I noticed a lot of the arguments or discussions were coming from a moral standpoint for me. Santana's my favorite character and often how she was criticized on there seemed to come from sort of moral high ground. She's a terrible character because she did this wrong (biphobia, racism, homophobia, bullying etc) and that isn't okay without people remembering the time period that Glee aired in or that Glee thrived off of dodgy/satirical jokes or humor. They hold Santana and her actions accountable as if she was created in 2024 and not 2009.

Was this something you also noticed when you were there? This weird morality stance when it comes to controversial characters like Santana? It honestly felt like she was being judged to 2024 standards. Sorry if this sounds a bit disjointed but I'm interested to know your viewpoint.

No, this is a really good question.

It's common knowledge for people who have left the Glee sub that it's on some self-righteous moral high ground. And I wouldn't care about their morality stance... if they were as harsh on Finn and Rachel as they are on Santana, Quinn, Mercedes, etc.

I can give you a lot of examples of their double standards.

When anyone tries to bring up Rachel slapping Santana, they'll cry about the times Santana slapped Quinn and Finn... But nothing about Finn trying to yank Quinn out of her wheelchair, beating down on Puck, attacking Jesse, etc. Hell, they'll fucking praise him for assaulting Brody. In all of these situations, Finn always gets an excuse: oh Puck betrayed him, oh Quinn manipulated him, oh Jesse and Brody HURT poor Rachel!! But then they'll make excuses for demonizing Santana... despite the fact that Quinn revealed her private medical info to get her demoted and Finn literally outed and doxed her to the entire state.

Ergo, they're fine when Finn resorts to violence because it's SO UNDERSTANDABLE, but Santana's a bitch who deserves what she gets so she isn't allowed to be upset in any way.

Do you know how many times someone brings up Mercedes quitting? Do you know how many times they condemn her for being childish, disrespectful, and leaving the way she did? But... Rachel did the same thing for years. Why is it only condemnable when Mercedes does it? Why is Rachel allowed to complain and get angry, but the minute Mercedes does it she has an attitude problem?

Rachel playing Maria in WSS was fine, but for some reason she has the right to condemn Santana for auditioning for Fanny? And the Glee sub thinks that's perfectly okay.

It's funny you mention satire, because apparently that only applies to Rachel, not Santana. Rachel can make whatever comments she wants about Black people and Chinese people and anyone who isn't American and it's so cute and funny and endearing, but when Santana did it, it was racist and she's terrible.

(Honestly, I know Santana is Mexican in canon, but Naya was Black irl, so it really feels like this is misogynoir (especially when Mercedes is only liked as long as she's being perfectly unproblematic). If Santana was a white Hispanic and not an Afro-Latina, I feel like people in the Glee sub (and everywhere else tbh) wouldn't be nearly as harsh on her)

Also, you pointing out people judging her by 2024 terms is hilarious, because that's the exact thing the Glee sub accuses Finn haters like myself of doing to him. Except... condemning most of the shit Finn does was perfectly the norm in 2009. The Office (THE FUCKING OFFICE) took the time to explain why outing was bad. A ton of sitcoms pointed out that abusing your size to beat people up when you get mad is wrong.

IT WAS 2009, NOT 1989. The last episode of Glee aired in 2013, when progressive shows like Steven Universe were coming out (hell, Adventure Time is even older than Glee and it did things so much better; Finn Mertens>Finn Hudson) Glee isn't the aged relic people make it out to be. And firmly holding Finn to "2009" standards- while not doing the same for Santana (or Quinn or anyone else)- and them attacking anyone who dares to say "Hey, Finn's kind of a dick," is a double standard that screams misogyny and racism

I’ve been on Bluesky for about 6 months but only really started using it maybe 2 or 3 months ago. I kind of use it like Twitter- post stuff on my page, search for topics I want to discuss, and sometimes engage in conversation about those things/comment on posts. It seems like a good atmosphere there.

Well this morning I commented on someone’s post with a simple question- I didn’t have any agenda and I wasn’t challenging anything they said. I was just wondering what they meant. It’s not someone I follow, I was just searching tags and saw a post that I wondered about. Anyway, this person took on a really confrontational tone and told me I had bad Bluesky etiquette and that I didn’t read the whole thread and I also engaged about it with a stranger. It’s true that I hadn’t read the whole thread because I didn’t notice that it was part of a thread, but I usually DO read threads before replying/commenting on a post. My main problem is the tone that she took. I apologized and then replied to her message with the genuine question of “I’ve been on here for 6 months and I reply to posts about topics I search for. Am I not supposed to engage with strangers?” She didn’t reply but some other random person replies to me and says “Or you could just leave some thoughts in your head.”

Like… this is a social media website. Am I not supposed to be social and engage with other people? And the first person who was trying to school me on Bluesky etiquette has only been on there for 12 days. It wouldn’t have been a problem if she took a friendly or neutral tone with me and just accepted my apology and moved on. But she continued to push the issue (like was she baiting me or something?) and then some other person joins in with the same attitude.

I thought Bluesky was supposed to have a better vibe than Twitter, but it seems like it doesn’t anymore. I’m so hesitant now to say anything to anyone on there, and maybe I’ll just post and repost stuff to my page.

Also, I think I read that they opened it to anyone recently (it was invite-only before), so the former atmosphere that I’ve been enjoying on there may have come to an end now that it’s going to be inundated by people who are leaving twitter but bringing toxic twitter vibes to a new platform.
