i wasn't gonna post today but I'm currently writing another one of Buck and Taylor's arguments and I'm having so much fun lol (there's gonna be only one more conversation between them after this haha) I keep having new ideas for the in-between of what I had planned, and I hope all of this turns out coherent, I'm probably gonna have to do so much editing lol I'm so determined to post it this month and I'm actually inspired!

“I don’t know what to tell you.” he sighs, averting his gaze, as he’s trying to think about anything to say, but his mind is blank. 

“How about the truth? I really just want to know what the hell is going on with you. Because this-” she throws her hands out, vaguely gesturing around. “This isn’t a life together, and I don’t know how many more times we can have this exact same conversation.”

“Taylor…” he starts, hoping more words would come. “I’m sor-”

“Is there someone else?” she blurts out, angry tears welling in her eyes. He feels his own eyes widen in surprise, and his cheeks burn.

“What?”

“I mean, are you seeing someone else?” she doubles down, her tone a little shaky, but still determined. Suddenly, he feels his heart in his throat, and he has to make a conscious effort to breathe. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.

wait, has anyone done eddie leaving hawkins after the events of season4, be it government pressure or just hightails it bc fuck hawkins, but like instead of going to the city(chicago or indianapolis) or out west to make it big, no he goes south, back to tennessee, he ends up making the right connections with producers and such and eventually makes it big as a musician/songwriter except the party never finds out because he's working under a pseudonym And in a totally different genre (im learning towards folk/bluegrass)

Since I see a lot of reactions on articles/quotes from the Loki crew and cast, here are some general reminders when it comes to stuff like this;

There are so many people working on a show/movie and everyone make decisions creating the final product we watch. Of course they do a lot of work to unite their visions and make it cohesive, but "contradictions" may still happen. We often talk about the obvious people behind a show, the actors, writers and directors, but there are also costume designers, composers and editors, etc. All of these people can have different perspectives and pull things in different directions, that just sort of comes with the nature of making such a big show.

And then it comes to producing a show itself. Productions are messy. Things get reworked on the spot because what might've worked on the page didn't work in practice, props break and need to be changed, actors can't be in for the day, etc. All of these affect the final products in chaotic ways. Sometimes unpredictable things like this may get in the way of or improve the story.

And finally articles/interviews purpose is to provide this one specific person's perspective and promote the show, or engage fans.

So take these things with a grain of salt. You don't need to base your entire view on the show on statements from cast/crew. Is the line less meaningful because it was improvised? Should we consider an episode to be less canon because it was apparently rewritten a lot from its original state?

Your fan experience will likely be healthier and more fun if you try to mainly engage with the art you have in front of you. If you read quotes from creators and feel frustrated that they are inconsistent with the art - first of all, art is subjective, it just comes with the territory. But my main point of the post is that even if a person is working on the show, it doesn't mean that their view is 100% represented within the text. You don't need to go full Death of the Author here, but you gotta remember there isn't just one author and that author's intent at work here, there is a production, with all that comes with it. And honestly? That's what makes it interesting. All of these visions coming together to create art that we get to take part in, and whatever vision we're getting as a viewer might be something completely unique.

tbh, I think people being overly attracted in a bad way to Vinny was a part of me figuring out my sexuality (asexual) because genuinely, how does one look at him and think those thoughts. This also extends to nonhuman characters, like I don’t care what someone is attracted to as long as it’s not illegal, how do you want to have sex with things like object show characters (again, I don’t care if they’re attracted, as long as it’s legal), they’re just objects like what is there to be sexually attracted to like what. Sorry that this became more of a non vinesauce rant I just gotta get it out of my head

its okay lke i dont think its weird to have these thoughts about him (liking him because hes handsome, not shipping him with his friends) cuz hes a human being and human beings like other human beings unless its the way you are saying, overly attracted, which ive seen

anyway if, by the time i have figured out how to code a game, we still dont have it (and i expect we wont) i WILL make an rpg with aro "love" interests. ur protagonist can be an aroallo whore now. whats love if not the thing that some people feel sometimes. some of your allies are only down to have sex with you and will reject you outright if you try to romance them. no monogamy limits outside of maybe specific actual romances. these aros would be absolutely destroyed by the potential fandom but its ok i didnt make them for you <2

since I'm an insanely big fan of your music taste, and have long since listened to all of your playlists (bordering on stalker behavior,I know 😔) what're some of your favourite playlists/albums/ways in which you discover new music??

hello!! that is so kind thank you teehee...playlist compliments well i am a sucker for them its true...as 4 my favourites umm! of my own playlists the three i probably listen 2 the most are committing to the bit + young soul rebels + new wave but it just depends what i fancy : ^ ) currently i am mainly listening to my aug 23 playlist on repeat there are like five songs on there but theyre all good...i am not really much of an album person ive come 2 realise!! i prefer playlists generally both for just listening and for discovering new music...but some of my favourites / ones ive listened to a lot this year r probably searching for the young soul rebels by dexys midnight runners + black sea by xtc + the idler wheel by fiona apple + the dreaming by kate bush + this album of really good covers by nouvelle vague. as 4 other ways of finding new music!! i dont really have much of a reliable method i am not very good at it to be honest...but i tend 2 use the mixes + playlists spotify makes like discover weekly when i remember!! and if i know which artist it is i want 2 get more familiar with their artist playlists can be good : ^ ) other than that i like to visit the spotifies (?) of my beautiful mutuals and have a look at what theyve got going on there...pop a playlist on even...hi brynn hi simmy hi layla...and also often the way i find new music is just by stumbling across it!! like hearing something i like in a film or smthn : ^ )
