The deepest circle of the Netherrealm was one of the most dreaded locations in the Netherrealm and for a damn good reason. 

It was the place where previous overlords of the Netherrealm banished offending denizens to be tortured by the onis. 

This was the last place Sareena wanted to find herself in but what had she expected the moment she found Quan Chi at the Lin Kuei foregrounds? 

Regret ran through her mind as she awaited her judgment, her palm flat against her lower abdomen, the recent news bringing mixed feelings. 

She and Bi Han had always been so careful… but it is not 100% safe , came that little voice in her head. 

She had lost focus of why she was in the Lin Kuei and now, she was paying severely. Here she was awaiting Quan Chi’s arrival while in Bi Han’s mind, she was as good as dead. 

The last thing that the cryomancer would remember was how she betrayed his clan, how she betrayed him . How she lied to him. 

How could she have deluded herself into thinking she could keep up with the lie she had allowed to fester? How could she have believed that she could stall her day of reckoning? 

Her wishful thinking had done nothing but land her in this mess where her fate and that of her child was dependent on the whims of a dangerous sorcerer. 

Bi Han would never know that she was carrying his child - not that she was aware herself until the onis Quan Chi had assigned as her torturers - Drahmin and Moloch - had somehow detected it. 

The Netherrealm was basically hell, where demons, onis, tortured souls and every possible personification of evil walked about but they had a few rules they followed. 

One of them which was her saving grace, at least, in this moment - a person with child was off-limits. Harming a person with child was seen as a death sentence, enough to have the perpetrator in the deepest circle of the Netherrealm. 

It could be her saving grace but knowing Quan Chi, any assurance dwindled by a great percentage. The sorcerer was from Outworld, not a native of the infernal realm. Sareena doubted he’d respect this rule. 

Ha , Quan Chi respecting the rules of the Netherrealm? That was as laughable as the many dreams of liberating the realm from his hands. After overthrowing Lucifer with the help of the Sisterhood of Shadows, the sorcerer had made himself a tyrant, keeping denizen under his thumb. 

Anyone who dares to defy his dictatorship ended up in the position she was currently in. Either that or on the run like Ashrah, which did not seem so bad right now. 

Quan Chi had gained unilateral control over the Netherrealm and he showed great disdain towards its rules. This one would be no different. 

Hell, he’d torture her himself, unborn child be damned. The thought of that had the demon clutching her abdomen protectively, if she had to fight to her last breath to protect herself for the sake of her child, she’d gladly do that. 

The heavy sound of boots against the stone pavement had her alert, her eyes looking up to see Quan Chi flanked on his sides by Drahmin and Moloch. 

She sat up straight, her back against the wall as she finally came face-to-face with the brown-skinned sorcerer who stared at her venomously. 

“Why is she still here, unscathed?!” He turned towards the onis, his tone miffed as he spoke like she was not right in front of him. 

The onis exchanged looks, obviously displaying their fear of the sorcerer who impatiently expected their answers. 

“L-Lord Quan Chi- we- w-we thought,” Drahmin started, stumbling over his words as he struggled to get his words through. 

Sareena could tell this was the moment where the sorcerer was so close to losing his shit. He rarely expressed his anger in outbursts which was terrifying in this scenario. 

“Speak up you imbecile!”

“She is with child,” Moloch blurted and Quan Chi let out a mirthless chuckle which chilled Sareena to the bones. 

“That should not stop you.”

“We cannot-. It is forbidden,” Drahmin interjected. 

He knows that , Sareena wanted to add but at this moment, her silence was more golden than whatever comeback she had on the tip of her tongue

The room fell silent as Quan Chi crouched down to her level. The demon attempted to keep as much distance as she could but she could only go so far when her back was against the wall. 

The sorcerer pressed a hand against her abdomen, chanting some incantations under his breath. Then, he jerked his hand away, recoiling as if he was shocked by electric current. 

He was on his feet now and his eyes widened, time standing still as he looked down at her. It was like the dreaded calm before the storm and Sareena could not afford to trust this silence, her eyes looking cautiously at him. 

A myriad of emotions flitted across the sorcerer’s face before settling for rage and disdain. Quan Chi’s lips curled into a sneer as he seemed to put two and two together. 

“You whore!” He spat venom. 

He knew, there was no way he would not know. 

“It is that pathetic Earthrealmer, isn’t it? He sired this bastard, didn’t he?” He jeered. “It is not enough that you failed your mission but you had to let that Earthrealmer bed you and put his seed inside you.”

Sareena could almost feel herself let out a sob. Quan Chi’s face was too calm, way too calm for the venomous words he tossed her. It was a moment of when he’d strike at her. 

And her fear was about to come true. 

“Seize her!”

No, no, no.

“No!” She yelled, the moment Drahmin and Moloch were at her sides, their hands pulllng her up. She struggled against the iron-cladded grip of the onis who dragged her out of her cell. 

“Please! Please, don’t do this!”

“I’ll get rid of that bastard if I have to. Shang Tsung would have a field day helping me,” a smug look fell upon the sorcerer’s face. 

It felt like a century had passed when she found herself in a room she was unfamiliar with. Her face was stricken with tears, her voice hoarse from her cries. 

“Quan Chi!” A voice broke through and everyone’s attention was focused on a new presence. A pair of amethyst eyes fell upon her still in the rough grips of the onis. 

The dark-skinned demon pushed through Quan Chi before reaching for Sareena. Drahmin and Moloch had released her instantly, making her fall into Jataaka’s arms. 

“What in Lucifer’s name is going on?!” Jataaka demanded, her eyes glaring fiercely at Quan Chi who was now displeased that the demon had dared meddle in his affairs. 

“Stay out of this, Jataaka,” Quan Chi shot back. 

Sareena found herself shaking, her hand instinctively on her abdomen as she shrunk into Jataaka’s protective hold.

Jataaka stood her ground, her hold firm around Sareena. The demon had a fierce look in her eyes, the kind that had even Quan Chi and his two henchmen pause.

“You would really protect a traitor? Someone who tried to leave the Sisterhood for a pathetic Earthrealmer?” The sorcerer scoffed, his question aimed at the demon who still had her arms around Sareena.

“Still a sister nonetheless. I am not going to let you hurt her, sorcerer,” the demon hissed.

This seemed to have struck a nerve as Quan Chi stepped up to her, his face dangerously close.

“She is pregnant with an Earthrealmer’s spawn. If I have to rip that abomination out of her, then so be it,” he spat.

Jataaka remained unfazed, her gaze piercing as her arms tightened around the demon.

Then, it seemed as though the demon had thought of something.

"You are not going to harm a fellow member of the Sisterhood," she reminded. “Neither are you going to lay your filthy hands on her offspring.”

Sareena wondered if the other demon had gone mad, taunting Quan Chi the way she was. The sorcerer had no qualms about ending her life or that of her unborn child.

"Are you forgetting who rules the Netherrealm, Jataaka?" The sorcerer questioned, a hint of a smirk forming on his face.

Jataaka stood her ground, her grip tightening, “You are an outsider who managed to best us, it would do you some good to know your place and remember the rules of the realm you reside in.”

It may have sounded like an empty threat but it was anything but. The Sisterhood of Shadows have helped overthrow previous overlords, they would not give up on overthrowing Quan Chi either.

"What are you trying to get at?" The sorcerer questioned.

"If you touch a single hair on her head, her unborn child or her, you will have the wrath of the Sisterhood and Lucifer upon you. You think we will tolerate you harming a member of the Sisterhood?" Jataaka said.

Quan Chi narrowed his eyes at her, a scowl forming on his face, "Very well, then. Have it your way.”

His gaze was now on Sareena and the demon felt a chill running down her spine.

"But I will be back. Soon," the sorcerer spat before taking his leave.

Drahmin and Moloch trailed behind him like two lost puppies, leaving Sareena and Jataaka alone in the room.

The demon could feel herself shaking, she was not in the clear just yet. Her child was still in danger and Quan Chi would make sure to get rid of them.

Jataaka had noticed her distraught, the demon holding her in a reassuring embrace, "Don't worry, he will not touch you. We won't let him."

She could only hope so.

This list is just for the defenders (plus Bi-Han bc he will never be a villain in my eyes) but I can make another for the antagonists and Kombat Kids if y'all want

Johnny: This man can and will outdrink god without breaking a sweat. It takes a lot to get him drunk but once you do, hoo boy does he get wild. He will flirt with anyone and anything he can and more often than not succeeds in seducing whoever he has set his sights on (he even managed to bag Fujin once)

Sonya: Knows her limits and has no desire to test them, she'll drink if the occasion calls for it, but never more than a few beers.

Jax: Like Sonya, also just doesn't drink all that much as he doesn't really get the appeal. He did once get drunk and serenade the entirety of the special forces with a full rendition of Wicked in it's entirety. Sonya got it on video and it is one of her most treasured possessions

Kung Lao: Cannot hold his liquor, talks a big game but is a massive lightweight. He's also a tactile drunk, he wants to hug and be hugged all the time. Once, he even sat on Liu Kang's lap for five hours straight. Has drunkenly made out with Johnny cage more than once.

Raiden: Cannot get drunk and refuses to try.

Liu Kang: Massive lightweight, even worse than Kung Lao. Three shots in and he's giggling on the floor. He and Kung Lao have kissed while drunk before, but it was less a drunken making out thing and more an impulsive "I want my first kiss to be with someone I trust" thing. They didn't talk about it afterwards

Kitana: Like Johnny, could outdrink anyone. In fact, the two once had a drinking competition that did not end until they were both in the hospital from alcohol poisoning. To this day they have no idea who the winner was and it is the only reason Kitana respects him

Jade: Can hold her liquor, but honestly prefers to avoid it. She likes to keep her wits about her, years of training as a bodyguard don't fade.

Kuai Liang: This man has the tolerance of a wet paper bag, and once scared the shit out of a bunch of SF recruits bc he and Johnny got drunk on base and it was the only time any of them had heard him laugh. Kuai Liang is a talkative drunk too, he will say anything and everything that pops into his head with no remorse and then forget about it the next morning. He did once make out with Johnny Cage in a closet while they were both shitfaced and another time he spent the entire night curled around Hanzo's back like a spider monkey.

Hanzo: drinks on occasion but not often so his tolerance is decent but not phenomenal. Tends to smile more when drunk and generally be more relaxed, but also rarely gets any further than tipsy. Usually, he tasks himself with keeping Kuai Liang out of trouble on the occasions they both decide to indulge, leading to him being subject to Kuai Liang's playful flirting for the whole night. Poor man is struggling to keep it together and not drag the cryomancer off to a closet of their own.

Bi-Han: used to be a total lightweight until he started drinking with Sareena and now he can down moonshine without blinking. He does tend to wax poetic about Sareena when drunk and also made out with Johnny Cage in a closet while drunk (bc honestly, who hasn't at this point?) and when he told Sareena she just nodded, downed a shot, and went to find Johnny for her turn. The three started dating not long after that

Sareena: Drinks a lot, and yet somehow her tolerance never improves, so she ends up giggling and stumbling fairly quickly. She also has a tendency to sing while drunk

Fujin: Cannot get drunk either (god thing) but he keeps trying different beverages when offered bc he's too polite to turn them down. Has made out with a tipsy Johnny Cage in the middle of one of his parties.

Nightwolf: Does not drink and despises the idea of doing so, though he won't tell anyone why. He and Fujin tend to keep each other company as the rest of the defenders get shitfaced, basically babysitting them.

Bi Han and The Dog He Said He Never Wanted

Sareena: Beloved! Look at what I found! He was all alone at the market.Isn’t he adorable?!

*Sareena shows him a Maltese puppy. The puppy starts yapping excitedly and Bi Han looks disgusted.*

Bi Han: Take it back Sareena.

Sareena: Bi Han! Don’t be mean!

Bi Han: We are not keeping that little beast.

They did end up keeping him much to Bi Han’s dismay. He was not an animal lover and he told Sareena that the puppy was entirely her responsibility. He would not care for it.

Sareena tried to name the puppy Snowball. Bi Han couldn’t help but roll his eyes.

Bi Han: We’re not calling him that.

Sareena: Why not? It’s cute.

Bi Han: No.

Sareena: What about Fluffy?

Bi Han: Are you serious? Absolutely fucking not.

Sareena: Then what ideas do you have?

Bi Han: How about, Runt?

Sareena: *slaps his arm* …What about…Fang? After my demon fang swords.

Bi Han: Fang…Fine, whatever.

For a couple of nights the puppy irritated him to no end. It wouldn’t stop yapping. Day and night. It was so god damn needy too. It shit everywhere. Bi Han also became jealous of the little beast because it took up most of Sareena’s attention.

One night, he had enough. He was already sleep deprived, and now this puppy was barking at 3 am in the morning. He grabbed the puppy out of his crate and screamed at him to shut up. When little Fang started whining from fear Bi Han immediately felt like shit.

Wtf was he doing? Screaming at little animals. He quickly tried to quiet Fang so that Sareena wouldn’t wake up and bitch him out for upsetting him. He instinctively cradled the fluffy puppy in his arms, trying to get him to stop trembling. He gently stroked Fang’s head.

Fang was so tiny, so fragile. As Bi Han looked into the puppy’s big eyes, he felt his cold heart begin to melt.

Bi Han: Shhh…Don’t fear little Fang…I won’t harm you…

When Fang licked his fingers, that was it. That was his baby. That was his son. His precious Fang, Fang.

Sareena found him the next morning passed out on the couch with Fang sleeping on his chest.

The first thing Bi Han did the next day was buy him a expensive new blue collar, he had the Lin Kuei symbol put on it.

Sareena: I thought you didn’t like him.

Bi Han: If we’re going to keep this little beast then he must be properly trained.

Sareena: And the fancy collar?…

Bi Han: Don’t question my decisions, woman!

Bi Han is a pretty intense guy by nature and that transfers into his dog parenting.

Bi Han took it upon himself to train Fang. He put him on a strict food and training schedule. He also researched all about puppies and how to train them.

Also put Fang on a cook food diet.

Sareena: Why can’t we just feed him dog food?

Bi Han: You want to feed him that dehydrated crap?! I thought you cared about this dog!

He teaches Fang how to sit, roll over, fetch, shake, and play dead. He’s such a proud father.

Fang becomes like his emotional support dog. Whenever he has a hard day or he’s just pissed off, he calls over his puppy for comfort.

When he’s stuck doing paperwork, he likes to have Fang on his lap to keep him company.

He gets him groomed regularly and cleans his eyes daily. No crusty eyes for his puppy.

It gets really cold in Artika so Bi Han makes sure to bundle Fang up. Fang has a collection of little jackets and sweaters. He also has booties. Sareena finds it a bit silly and can’t help but laugh whenever she sees Bi Han putting booties on Fang.

Bi Han: Don’t laugh at him, it’s to protect his paws from the snow!

He doesn’t take Fang to the dog park anymore because he thinks the other dogs play too rough with him.

He started shouting at the other dog owner and Sareena has had to drag him out of there before he started throwing hands.

Aggressively overprotective over Fang. Once Tomas accidentally stepped on his paw and Bi Han was on poor Tomas like white on rice.

Mortal Kombat 11 Koncept Sareena by Jack Meng Kirkman

Story: In events that were now a lifetime ago to Sareena, she was saved from Quan Chi’s vile manipulative magic by Bi Han. She was told to live among the poor of outworld for a time, concealing herself to the watchful eyes of the powerful throughout the realms. Bi Han promised her that he would find her and offer her sanctuary in the Lin Kuei. Then the Mortal Kombat tournament begun and Bi Han was invited to represent Earthrealm by Raiden. It was the highest honour in Bi Han's eyes, fighting the forces of darkness once again, like he had done when he saved Sareena. He found Sareena and told all of this. Sareena saw the tournament as her chance of redemption and asked Bi Han if she could represent Earthrealm by his side. Bi Han told her that joining the Mortal Kombat tournament was too dangerous for her. Quan Chi would be there with his allies, and they would surely take the opportunity to kill her, or worse, put her back under his control. He told her that she need only to remain incognito until after the tournament, then after Earthrealm's victory, Bi Han would come back for her. He explained to her that she could also not come back with him to the Lin Kuei temple during this time, as he suspected there was a sinister poison infecting their order. He had suspicions that the grandmaster himself and his son, Sektor were behind it. Sareena, while frustrated, saw the wisdom in what Bi Han said. He left her and promised that he would come back for her and that she would be safe. Before Bi Han left, Sareena said to him, "Be careful Bi Han... The very thing that allowed you to escape the Netherrealm, is the thing that will lead you back there." To which Bi Han responded, "I am still a mortal..."As Bi Han foretold, Earthrealm won the tournament, but he did not survive to see it. Now Sareena lived in a torn and broken Outworld, chaotic and divided in the wake of Shao Kahn's death and no one was coming for her. There was a power vacuum, and many vied for control. Earthrealm was no better she had heard, Shinnok had returned and his Netherrealm army were invading. The realms seemed to be closing in around her and she knew it was only a matter of time before her former allies tracked her down and submitted her to brainwashing. She would not live in this squalor and wait for that day. Admist the chaos, it turned out that her skills as an assassin and a spy were of great use to many in this race for power and she quickly found work that paid exceptionally well... She had lived with the Tarkatans for years and even knew a Tarkatan assassin named Karbrac, who apparently had taught the famed Baraka kombat techniques. She admired their blades, the perfect concealed weapon she thought. Sareena commissioned a gauntlet with a retractable blade sheathed within it, just like those wielded by the Tarkatans. She called this weapon "Demon Fang".In Mortal Kombat 11: After the time surge that brought individuals from past timelines into the present, Sub-zero was called to meet with the Special Forces to consolidate their knowledge on threats to Earthrealm. While they were briefing Sub-zero, he took notice of a particularly barren file, the name at the top read, "Sareena". This triggered a memory from a time before he was turned into a revenant. Bi Han, his older brother had told him of a woman lost in Outworld. He told Kuai Liang, that if anything were to happen to him, that he would honour his promise to her and give her sanctuary in the Lin Kuei. Unfortunately, Kuai Liang had to deal with Sektor and the Tekunin kidnapping his comrades. The Lin Kuei would make a poor sanctuary at the moment. After Kronika's defeat, time continued as normal for those who were outside of the hourglass. With the help of the Special Forces, Kuai Liang was able to find her whereabouts. It was clear by her recent movements that she was on the run. But from what, he could not deduce... Over the last few months, Sareena had been hunted by her old ally, Jataaka, who had also enlisted the services of the mercenary Erron Black. Jataaka was a master tracker and hunter. Sareena knew that Jataaka was wearing her out. Allowing her to run, and then catching up to her at perfect times. Sareena was largely without rest and she knew her time was running out. She endeavoured to use the energy she still had to confront the two. Sareena prepared outside an abandoned, ruined temple. She set up a multitude of traps. She knew that both Jataaka and Erron were no strangers to these tactics and she knew they would have little effect on them, but buying herself every second she could would be her best chance at survival. The two arrived as Sareena had anticipated. Jataaka made quick work of spotting the preliminary traps while Erron disabled them with expert precision. They entered the building and after much scouring, shadowy smoke burst out from around a corner, Jataaka swung her wakizashi, startled by the sudden movement, but her blade found no purchase in the amorphous cloud. The cloud materialized behind Jataaka, revealing Sareena, she swung her leg backwards at Erron, her heelblade slicing across his chest in the process. Fortunately for him, his armour saved him from the wound, but the kick knocked him down nonetheless. As he landed, he drew his firearm and shot Sareena. Sareena dematerialized into smoke once more and the bullet sailed passed her, nearly hitting Jataaka in the head. "What did I tell you about doing that!" Jataaka screamed at him. Erron sheathed his gun and got up. The smoke materialized once more. "We both know, you can't maintain that form forever Sareena", Jataaka said, a grin creeping across her face. The battle that ensued was hard fought, but ultimately, the combined prowess of Jataaka and Erron proved too much for the worn Sareena. Jataaka pushed her heel into Sareena's knee and an echoing snap and a cry reverberated through the torn building. She got Sareena into a rear naked choke. Erron watched as the life began to leave Sareena's eyes, but his ears pricked up. He turned around to see Sub-zero skating towards the building on a bed of ice with blinding speed. "Time's up", he muttered, realising that the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei would turn the odds against them. Erron pointed his gun at Sareena and fired... Sub-zero rushed into the entrance. Erron was gone. He moved over to the bloody Sareena laying on the floor, as he approached, he noticed Jataaka, also bleeding out. Jataaka started to crawl away. He turned to Sareena, her eyes were half open, looking at him, she tried to speak, but nothing would come. Sareena's vision was blurry and though she was still alive, she could feel herself fading, the man in front of her felt like something from a distant memory, or was it dream. Perhaps it was a mirage. Right now, it was the only thing tethering her to life... Sub-zero sealed her wound. She passed out, but would live. Sub-zero stood up and walked slowly over to Jataaka, who hadn't made it very far. The trail of blood in her wake told him that her wound was fatal. Hearing the footsteps, Jataaka turned around and laid on her back, coughing. "M-Mercy, Grandmaster". He stared into her hateful eyes and said, "You are right, I cannot leave you like this..." He held out his hand and a jet of ice burst forth, freezing over her entire head. He raised his boot and smashed her skull into tiny shards of blood. Unbeknownst to Jataaka, Erron Black had another contract on Sareena from a mysterious benefactor. They told him that Sareena must die, at any cost.Sareena awoke weeks later in the Lin Kuei temple. Sareena explained her story to Kuai Liang and how she was indebted to him for what his brother had done for her. Kuai Liang explained that he too was indebted to her by a promise to his fallen brother. Kuai liang granted her sanctuary within the Lin Kuei, protecting her from assassins of the Netherrealm as his brother before him had promised. Sareena also joined the clan as a protector of Earthrealm. During her healing process, Sareena spoke of a plan to save Bi Han from the clutches of the Netherrealm and Quan Chi’s lingering magic. Kuai Liang was not confident his brother could be turned, but Sareena was persistent. She would never give up on Bi Han. The two set out and eventually learn that Noob Saibot had fled to the Chaos Realm. The travel there through a portal that the Lin Kuei found many years ago, though it was forbidden to use it without the Grandmaster’s permission. Their journey led them to a ruined temple of order. There they found a Cleric. He was heavily cloaked and his features obscured. He openly confessed to aiding Noob Saibot and claimed that he knew that they would come looking for him. But he had another confession. He had helped another individual, who would purge the realms of any demon that dared to breathe the same air she breathed. He muttered a spell and before Sareena and Sub-zero could react, green soul magic erupted from the ground before the cleric. A woman emerged, carrying a lantern with the caged souls of Ermac and a kris blade. She dressed in full white with gold trim and a wide brimmed hat with a ghostly veil. Sareena noticed instantly from her demonic left arm, that she was like her, a demon of the Netherrealm. She thought it strange that this demon was fanatical in their desire to kill their own kin. "Ashrah", the cleric exclaimed. "There is the demon I promised you", he gestured at Sareena. Ashrah lunged her weapon forward, as if her arm was compelled by the kris blade itself. The souls from the lantern lashed out at Sub-zero snaring him. A fight ensued and the cleric stepped quietly into the shadows…

I loved the 'Be my king' finale. All the Lin Kuei just chilling at Hanzo's new castle and the chickens! I just *chef's kiss*

I really likes how you just didn't forget about Raiden nor his relationship with Hanzo. I feel for Raiden, though I don't think Snowblind takes places in the exact same universe as the other two films but o well.

I have a MK Legends headcanon that while Scorpion was being Lord of Netherrealm it was like:

Hanzo: I miss my husband, Sareena. I miss him a lot.

*Kuai summons Hanzo*

Hanzo: ... I'll be back.

An idea I had for Reiko of Mortal Kombat, who is really boring the current version of the story, this would be much better in my eyes.

Story Arc: Reiko and Sindel were born into a poor family, with an Edenian Mother and Outworld Father of no importance, when their parents got killed when they were still teenagers Reiko and Sindel worked together and with Reiko's great intelligence, and Sindels charms they ranked up in the world, eventually killing Sapphira (queen of Edenia) and making it appear an accident and Sindel raising to the occasion to become the new wife of Jerrod and stepmother of Kitana. They also had a hand in the defeat of Edenia by Outworld during their tournament by backstabbing Jerrod, Argus and Delia. (With the help of Daegon, Rain and Tanya's illusion powers) Shao took Sindel as his wife (well Sindel wanted it this time, to betray Shao later on), and Reiko became the most important general in Outworlds armies, behind the scenes Sindel and Reiko joined the Brotherhood of Shadow, collected by Quan Chi, this brotherhood wants to ressurect the Dragon King Onaga. During the meetings of the Brotherhood of Shadows, Havik and Reiko have some mysterious alliance going on, that even Sindel isn't a part of. (And NO, this isn't the same alliance from the comics, my Reiko is far to intelligent to fall for any of Havik's tricks.)

Oh,can I give my hot take since we're discussing the MK1 girls? Honestly, a solid quarter to a third of the roster could have been DLC, considering how little they do or contribute to the story. Reiko? DLC. Nitara? Package her with a couple Jennifer's Body skins and you have a Halloween DLC for the girlies. Havik? DLC. Kronika is literally just there to chat shit.

Also,there's certain storylines that if they really explored them, could get uncomfortable real quick. Nitara's tower ending comes to mind, considering that it pretty much implies that she becomes a human trafficker outright,which........honestly could lead to some interesting moral questions for her if handled correctly. But I don't trust NRS to do that. Ashrah's another one that they have to tread real light with.

Yeah tbh a few people in the cast kinda aren't doing much, but I low-key do get the vibe that NRS has a lot of love for the Deadly Alliance era characters, which is why we're seeing a bunch of them in MK1. I don't know if I think they should've been DLC bc we don't know what the DLC schedule for MK1 looks like but Sonya should've been in the main cast at launch. That was a huge miss.

Tbh, I don't see Nitara getting expanded on sadly due to the poor reception of her character, but Ashrah might--given her connection to Sareena and Syzoth, and that she essentially got upgraded to a champion of Earthrealm. I doubt they'll handle any continuation of her story with any nuance; given Johnny says that Sareena is Bi-Han's future bestie, and Ashrah expresses worry that Sareena is turning back to darkness, and that Bi-Han is redeemable, what they are probably going to do is have Ashrah and Sareena play a role in redeeming Bi-Han and stopping the Cyber initiative, and Sareena being 'purified' through the same means as Ashrah. Which is boring, but they're going for black and white and I don't see that changing course. But I'd be happy to be wrong and see them make use of the potential they have.

The way people talk abt this ship kinda makes me side eyeing them because they made it sound like sareena's only purpose is to redeem him.. And like from what I've learned so far bihan/noob has always been interested in himself and goals, so sareena looking to change him feels heavily like a one sided quest (that I dont feel good imagining)

Could I please request Kung Lao, Liu Kang and Kenshi having an s/o who as a house by the beach, and they often take them there for a little R&R. I was also wondering if there were any other mortal kombat characters you want to write for more, I always get self conscious requesting certain characters over and over again, so it would be nice to request some characters you like.

LAHORE, November 28:

As the entire World is celebrating World’s children day beginning from 20th November and this year as it coincides with the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), the most widely endorsed human rights treaty in history. In this regard to commemorate 30th Anniversary search for justice with collaboration Human Rights department organized a ceremony at auditorium of Pakistan Girls Guide Association on Thursday. Parliamentarians included Musarret Jamshai Cheema, Mrs Sareena, Firdos Rai, Shamim Aftab, Chairman CPB Saira Ahmad, civil society organizations, Director Human Rights M Yusaf, Consultant Saroop Aijaz, law expert Arshad Abbas, Salman Abid and more than 200 students from various educational institutions participated in the ceremony while provincial minister HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine graced the occasion as Chief Guest of the ceremony. Interactive dialogue session also held in the ceremony in which children, experts and key stakeholders discussed the topic of 30 years of UN convention on the rights of the child: developments, challenges and future directions for Pakistan. All the participants raised the issues affected them and gave suggestions for solutions. Executive Director Iftikhar Mubarak in his welcome address said that aim of the ceremony was to protect rights of every child and every child whether rich or poor must be treated with love and affection. The minister Ijaz Alam said in his address that the children should be educated within the realm of national ideology and culture to learn about their socio-cultural responsibilities to emerge as the useful citizens of society. He said that the government is taking measures to upgrade education system because the education sector was ignored during the last 70 years. The minister said that said have to give equal opportunities to all the students and to bring back all the drop-outs to the schools without discrimination on the basis of their colour, caste and creed. The minister said the national language could be the effective means of communication and the PTI government had included Iqbal Studies in syllabus. In the frigid land of Artika, where icy winds cut through the air like daggers, Sareena, a demoness from the NeatherRealm, found herself in a constant battle against the cold. Despite her fiery origins, the freezing temperatures of her new home always managed to seep into her bones. Her husband, Bi Han, the once fearsome Noob Saibot but now again Sub Zero, spared no effort in trying to shield her from the biting chill.

One day, after returning from a hunt, Bi Han spotted Sareena standing on the balcony, observing their son, Bingxin, as he played in the snow. He approached her with a bear skin in his hands, an attempt to offer her some warmth. "It is not as cold as it was yesterday. I believe spring will be coming soon," he remarked from the doorway.

Sareena, her attention still fixed on their son, hugged herself in an effort to stave off the cold. "I didn’t notice," she replied sweetly. "I fear no matter how many years I spend here, I will never acclimate to this weather."

Bi Han gently wrapped the bear skin around Sareena and placed his hands on her shoulders. "What is he up to now?" he asked, bewildered, as he noticed Bingxin constructing an army of snowmen.

"He is raising his own army," Sareena smiled up at him, amused. The four-year-old boy below began barking orders at the lifeless snowmen.

"For what?" He inquired.

"I do not know. Perhaps he's planning a revolt," Sareena laughed softly. "He was quite upset that we sent him to bed early last night."

"He should not be staying up all night watching Johnny Cage's poor excuse for a movie," Bi Han grumbled as he crossed his arms. The couple's eyes were still glued to their eccentric Bingxin.

"Hmm, I liked it," Sareena hummed as she pulled the fur around her tightly.

"Of course you do," he scoffed.

"What is that supposed to mean?" She asked, her tone playful.

"You're easily amused by fools."

A mischievous smirk curved Sareena's lips. "You reek of jealousy, beloved."

Bi Han looked into his wife’s red eyes, twinkling with playfulness and love. She had used magic to age herself few years to match his natural aging. She also grew her hair out and now it reached her hips. She was somehow even more divine then the day they first met. "Only for you, Xīngān." His tone smooth, as his hand gently cupped her cheek, and they shared a tender kiss

EWWWWWW!" Bingxin's innocent exclamation pierced the air, shattering the romantic atmosphere. "Stop that, it’s nasty!" He pouted up at his parents, his small face scrunched in distaste. Bi Han couldn't help but chuckle; his son was one of the few that could make him laugh.

Sareena, despite her son's interruption, hugged her husband even closer. The cryomancer’s cold skin didn't do much to alleviate her coldness, but her love for him and Bingxin was far stronger than the biting chill.

if we are going the route of Sareena’s memories about the Lin Kuei being wiped off by Quan Chi, I have this scenario where Bi Han shows up at the Wu Shi Academy in demand of Sareena and Bingxin. the two have been kept indoors, far from Bi Han’s sight under Lord Liu Kang’s orders but Sareena can see him arguing with the god and Ashrah from the windows.

she has no idea who he is yet she has this gut feeling that there is something (more like someone and some memories, lol) tying the both of them together. every time she asks Ashrah or Liu Kang, she meets a dead end. it doesn’t help that her memories are full of gaps that she cannot fill in.

Yes also I like the idea of Shang Tsung or Shao Kahn telling Bi Han. Also, Bi Han wants to kill Quan Chi for keeping Sareena and his son hostage without him knowing.

I’m iffy on the idea of Sareena losing her memories, it could work though. She loses trust in Ashrah and Liu Kang when she remembers Bi Han

But then again Bi Han allied himself with her abuser, Quan Chi. Even if he didn’t know that Quan Chi had her and they had a son, I can still see her being distrustful.

My poor baby she can’t fully trust anyone 😭💔

At the end of the day, she’ll pick what’s best for her baby Bing Xin. All she needs is him.

"It’s obvious to everyone that Bing Xin is Bi Han’s son but Ashrah doesn’t want to tell Sareena because Ashrah and Liu Kang believe Bi Han isn’t a good influence for Sareena and Bing Xin." - then poor Bing has that nagging feeling that everyone around him knows something that he doesn't. But he knows it's something to do with his father and his identity.

He's asked Sareena who his father was on more than one occasion,but she's always waved it off with a "When you're older, I'll tell you" or "it'll all make sense when you're more mature". Sareena knows it can't be anyone but Bi-Han, but just the thought of him riles up emotions that she's not ready to deal with just yet.

Bi-Han doesn't even know about his son until it slips out during a confrontation with Ashrah. A confrontation that was about Sareena, actually. They're arguing about Sareena needing to face the consequences of her actions with the Lin Kuei and then Ashrah says something about Sareena hiding to protect their child. He asks what she's talking about, since he doesn't have a child.

Ashrah's,frankly, tired of all the secrecy and shenanigans. So she tells him the truth, with some edits.

Well Bing Xin is 2-3 years old at this point in time and has no idea what’s happening. He’s just a cute mischievous toddler.

Sareena also is being kept in the dark, but when she finds out she’s upset that Ashrah and Liu Kang made that decision for her.

OR, she doesn’t loose her memory but Liu Kang, Kuai Liang, and Ashrah poison her against Bi Han

They tell her Bi Han is a traitor to Earthrealm, he actually allied with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Which Sareena refuses to believe but when she finds out it’s true, she feels so betrayed. How could he ally with her abuser?! He’s not safe for Bing Xin to be around. Sareena doesn’t want her son to be corrupted.

Sareena still feels conflicted though. She wants Bin Xin to have his father in his life but Bi Han is an enemy of Earthrealm.

When Bi Han finds out he has a baby with Sareena all hell breaks loose. He has a chance to have a family again and no one will get in his way.

He just pulls up to the Wu Shi and demands his baby mama and baby. “I am here for what’s mine!”

Sareena watches as he fights Ashrah, Kung Lao and Raiden to get to her. It’s kind of sexy, toxic, but sexy.
