*In this part, there’s a dialogue going on that it’s not written in the game. I have to admit, I don’t understand all of it as there’s some vocab I don’t know (particulary the verb Baji uses when he speaks) and I don’t have the confidence to actually write the dialogue down in Japanese. I tried to catch some of the words, but it’s really difficult at the moment. I’m truly sorry for this! If there’s anybody that is up to help me figure out what they exactly say, I would appreciate it a lot!

I can make a sum up of it, though: Baji says something about Pah and Peh being over there (which makes me think that they are as wet as Takemichi and Kazutora). Takemichi worries about them, but Kazutora assures Takemichi that they will be okay, as they’re tough guys. After that, I think Chifuyu points out a place where Takemichi and Kazutora can pick up some towels to get dry and Takemichi thanks him!

"e-excuse me?" she's in disbelief, how could you be so cheery after needing to be saved from a group of bullies.

"you're so cute!" you exclaim in your cheeriest voice, eyes scrunched up in how happy you were to have met such a good person, "what's your name?"

"Tachibana Hinata," she smiles, shrugging off your odd behaviour and outstretches a hand.

"Hina-chan!" ignoring her outstretched hand, you pull her into a tight embrace, "Thank you for saving me! Let's become good friends!" you didn't need saving from those two-faced bitches but if it meant you got a precious friend, it didn't matter.

"Ehhh?!"

"are you saying you don't want to be friends?" you put on the water works and pull your puffy lips into a pitiful pout, loosening your arms around her. did she not want to be friends?

"i-i didn't mean that, it's just unexpected is all..." hinata excuses, unable to say no to your pitiable look.

"how come?" you tilt your head in curiosity, "you're a really good person so why don't people want to be your friend?"

"th-thank you..." she flushes pink as you giggle.

"so very cute~"

that day, you and hinata became the best of friends.

you had quickly realised that you and hinata didn't go to the same school and immediately got to work on transferring. there's no way you would be able to be without hinata for long, she's simply the cutest person you've ever seen so with your pleading and deceit, you were able to transfer to mizo middle school. you were even able to transfer into her class. it was perfect!

hinata was quite overwhelmed but after some time, she came to understand your unique clinginess and obsession over cute things. the way you phrase things aren't indicative of your true intentions but they were your way of communicating and hinata respected that, she's come to love it actually. not a day goes by that's boring when it's spent with you. whenever you're around each other, she feels safe and happy. hinata also loves how you support her hers and takimichi's relationship after concluding that he was cute too and that the couple were the cutest together.

cute cute cute! you love the word. you love cute things, cute fashion and cute people. if someone were to describe you, it would be cute. and the number one thing you hated were all things ugly, ugly fashion, and especially ugly people. they were the worst. ugly things didn't have a place on this world. they should all be locked away and never to be seen again!

you were just grateful that you were able to meet the cutest person ever and it was all through hina-chan and takemichi. she had grown quite worried over takemichi's sudden change in behaviour and the sudden bruises, cuts and scars that suddenly appear on his skin. you didn't like it either, a cute person like takemichi shouldn't be getting hurt so badly and so often.

frustratingly, neither of you could find any explanation for it until takemichi was being kidnapped by a person called mikey during school. you wanted to handle it yourself but respected mina's wish to do things for her boyfriend. just to be on the safe side however, you kept to the side and eyed the scene, gauging from afar if this mikey person was going to turn out cute of ugly.

unexpectedly, he turned to be the cutest person you've ever scene. and he was actually friends with takemichi!

"s-so cute!" you squeak out, eyes staring lovestruck at mikey just as he's about to turn away with takemichi and his also-cute-but-not-as-cute-tall-friend. in your awestruck state, you completely dismiss the look of disbelief on the tall blonde's face, choosing instead to continue staring at the unbothered shorter blonde that looks you up and down with a straight face.

did you not just see what the two could have done to both hina and takemichi or the trail of beaten up bodies down the hallway? drakes couldn't believe his eyes or ears. nobody has ever called the commander of the tokyo manji gang 'cute' before. certainly not accompanied with such a loving sigh.

taking in your cutesy appearance, the commander and vice assume you're nothing but a lovesick middle schooler whose experiencing nothing of the cruelness the world has to offer. not thinking much of you, mikey spares you only a simple glance over before turning away with takemichi and draken, commencing your one-sided love.

whenever takemichi could take hina to a toman meeting, you had to tag along, the first time of you joining the two, you made quite the impression on the captains as well as the other members considering your unique way of expressing how you see things.

everyone was cute, especially the captains and their vice captains but the cutest to you was mikey and you made sure that anyone who asked knew. even though mikey didn't care for your biased disposition towards him, you didn't care. you were perfectly happy with simply being able to be around the gang commander. mikey didn't think you were as interesting as takemichi or hina but you were a close friend of the two (and quickly became friends with emma too) so he tolerated your presence whenever you were around.

the captains and their vice captains felt quite pitiful towards you seeing as they saw you as such an innocent but loveable and bubbly person. seeing such a cute girl openly pin for their commander but not getting a single crumb of attention yet being perfectly okay with it was hard to watch. to remedy that, they all silently agreed to spend time with you, somewhat, in mikey's place.

on occasion, you would braid baji's hair and draw cute doodles or cats or adorable sayings on draken's arms, hands and neck. you'd read and trade mangas with chifuyu, regularly went out with kazutora, who hated being at home, and helped hakkai with his fear of girls by simply accompanying him, choosing to communicate in note form rather than talking. he just felt more comfortable that way and appreacitated that you respected him for it. you had hot ramen eating competitions with pah and peh, made by the twins and helped inspire fashion designs for mitsuya, you also helped out with his sisters on occasion just so he could have more free time. you grew on them as they grew on you and, over time, you all eventually came to see one another as family.

"everyone is so cute! i love toman!" it warmed their hearts to see you so happy and to love their group as much as they did. they never would have guessed that such a cute obsessed girl would hold affection for a delinquent gang but they didn't understand your language not in the way hina does.

hina knows that they'll eventually come to understand you the way she does and she doesn't know whether to feel excited or nervous because the other side of you was quite terrifying but fit into the lifestyle of toman perfectly.

"i'm starved..." baji grumbles from beside you, making you perk up with your usual peppy smile.

"why don't i go on a snack run for you and the others?" you offer, happy to help your cute and dear friends.

"we'll join you," emma says with her arm wrapped around hina's, who doesn't complain at being dragged along.

"yay! snack run with the girls!" the three of you giggle and go on your way before anyone else could protest, not that they could join you, things were still being discussed so business went on as usual and, eventually, the meeting was over and the members slowly dispersed but there was something missing,

the meeting was over and you still weren't back with snacks.

"where's the food?!" baji groans, clutching at his grumbling stomach.

"i don't think that's the main issue here, baji-san," chifuyu says with a stern face.

"chifuyu's right, where are the girls?" mitsuya chimes, worry and dread beginning to creep in.

on que, mikey jumps down from his elevated perch and starts heading to the steps of the shrine.

"lets go see what's taking them so long, i wanted snacks too," agreeing, the captains and their second in commands follow close behind, their steps hurried and ringing with concern for emma, hina and you.

"help! someone please!" emma's distressed screams throw the boys into a panic and immediately rush to the blonde, her arms flailing about in desperation.

"emma! what the hell's going on?" draken gets to her first and immediately begins his questioning as his eyes roam her exposed arms and legs, eventually sighing in relief at the lack of bruising and cuts.

"this group of creeps approached us after we bought the snacks for everyone and tried to touch us up," everyone's jaws clenched with anger and disgust, why did they let the three of you go alone in the first place? wasn't that why they created their gang? "we tried to walk away but one of them ended up getting to touch hina and (y/n) tried to protect her!" emma choked up as she pointed to the alley several feet away, "i managed to get away but-"

"hina!" takemichi cried, rushing to the scene with mikey beside him and the others close behind, emma clutching at draken's hand for comfort as they trailed last.

'(y/n)' mikey thought, your sweetly smiling face appearing in his mind. you never interested him but he's grown to appreciate and sometimes even search for your cheerful voice in the crowd of his gathered men. he knew you were a cutesy airhead but you couldn't be so stupid as to stand against someone that could hurt you.

rushing to the alleyway, they prepared themselves for the worst but were dumbfounded at the scene unfolding before them instead.

"didn't i tell you that if you touched any of them, i'd break your arm?" your voice was as cold as ice as your eyes were darkened and dulled, without their usual shine. they found it hard to believe if that was actually the (y/n) they knew. you looked and sounded like an entirely different person, "no quit crying!" you snapped, a murderous tone to your voice as you begin to fold the kneeling man's arm uncomfortably. you distorted it to the point of his bones cracking painfully as his friends watched in horror. the man had began to scream from the pain but you were having none of it, "shut up, ugly!" you viciously kneed him in the face.

"what the fuck?" smiley voiced in disbelief, too stunned to move at the scene. hina stood behind you with her eyes shut tight and her hands covering her ears. did you ask her to do that?

"all of you ugly shits deserve to rot in hell!" you barked and began to beat up the closest man as the rest scattered, "not cute at all," you expressed with unadulterated disgust beginning to punch the creep in the face repeatedly, "ugly...ugly...ugly, ugly ugly, ugly!" even though he fell limply to the floor, you raise your foot and begin to kick the living crap out of him with every shout of the one word they so rarely hear from you, "ugly! Ugly! UgLy! Ugly! UglY! UGLY!!!!"

you could have very well beat the man to death if it weren't for hina pulling you away frantically.

"(y/n)! that's enough! he's had enough!"

mikey slowly begins to smirk at the scene. interesting.

I saw the request is open, can i request Mikey x Fem!Reader? I want to see Mikey reaction when his crush (the reader) answer Emma question of who will she date in Toman, and the reader bluntly answer Mitsuya, without even blushing or hesistating, like she answer a fact. But the reader does not love Mitsuya, she just RATIONALLY LOGICALLY think he is a good boyfriend material candidate. The reader and Mikey have a crush on each other, but the reader is oblivious and hide her feeling for Mikey. Happy ending (Mikey and Reader end up together) but i want to see the chaos that will happen there. Please make it as chaotic as possible.

You and Emma were classmates back then in middle school, ended up becoming friends then Best friends ti'll you guys reached Highschool. Since you and her are bestfriends, you get to meet Mikey. His older brother which turned out to be the guy you started liking. You and Mikey are completely oblivous towards each others feelings, Emma knows Mikey likes you but she doesn;t have a slightest clue if you like him back since you were really good at hiding secrets. Today is the day where she will find out.

You and the rest of Toman Leaders and Vice-Leaders along with Hina and Emma were hanging out at the Sano household. Mikey and Emma called everyone to come and hangout but surprise surprise...this two didn't plan anything fun to do.

"So you're telling me...You both called all of us out here and didn't plan on what to do?..." Draken scolded the Sano siblings who were both pouting because Draken made them kneel.

"We just wanted to hangout with you guys!!" Emma whined. Draken then took a long and deep sigh.

"Draken, It's fine...stop scolding the two..." Mitsuya chuckled as he patted Draken's back. The two sano's looked at Mitsuya with teary-eyes and hugged his legs.

"Thank you, MAMA MITSUYA!!!" Mikey whined as he clenches onto Mitsuya's legs.

"So...what should we all do?" Chifuyu asked as he looked around.

It was now silent, all of you started staring at each other then Hina slowly raised her hand.

"Maybe we can play party games?...like Truth or Dare, cards or Board games..." She suggested shyly. You looked at everyone who was beaming with joy at Hina's suggestion.

"Who's down to play Truth or Dare!!?" Baji yelled as he flashed his canine smile.

Everyone except Mucho and Sanzu didn't raised their hands.

"Eh? Mucho? Sanzu? you guys aren't joining?" Kazutora asked. The two just nodded, grabbing the cards they raised it. Indicating that they want to play cards instead. After leaving the two leaders of the 5th Division to play cards all of you formed a circle and placed a glass bottle in the middle.

"Everyone knows the rules for T or D right?" Smiley asked, to which everyone nodded. Smiley spinned the bottle and it landed on Hakkai, Hakkai's eyes widened.

"Me?! right of the bat?!" He whined.

"No backsies!" Angry scolded Hakkai, to which he just rolled his eyes at Angry

"I wasn't gonna back out! anyways...I pick Dare?" Hakkai said.

"Wow! Hakkai's being bold for picking Dare!" Mikey teased Hakkai, everyone in the room started smiling.

"Okay! I dare Hakkai to...speak like a girl during the whole game!" Smiley dared Hakkai. Hakkai started complaining while the others started laughing their asses off because of Hakkai's attempt to speak like a girl.

The game continued on without all of you guys having fun but for some reason you can't seem to relax. You were sitting right next to Mikey, That's why...

You have had a crush on the guy since you first met him during middle school days and it kinda feel frustrating that you can't seem to know whether he likes you or not!

While you were in deep thought, you were looking at the bottle as it spun and to your surprise it landed on you.

"OKAY!! It's Y/N's turn!!" Emma shouted, you looked at everyone who were smiling at you.

"Okay okay...I pick truth?" You told Emma, you saw Emma gave a sly mischevous smirk. This gave you shivers to be honest, you know she is planning something.

"huh? oh Mitsuya..." You answered confidently, Mitsuya's eyes widened and so was everyone in the room. Even the two guys who were silently playing cards in the corner looked at you with wide eyes.

You were about to speak up when Mikey made you look at him, instead of a shock expression he was glaring at you.

"M-mikey?" You called out to him.

"WHAT IS IT THAT MITSUYA HAVE THAT I DON'T?! Seriously him?! Even Ken-Chin can say I look hotter than Mitsuya!" Mikey yelled at you.

"Actually No. I won't say that" Draken butts in.

You were dumbfounded for why is Mikey acting like this, Mikey was just staring at you. Not breaking eye contact at all.

"Answer me, Y/N! what? is it because he is taller than me?! I can still protect you even if I'm short!" Mikey whined at you, everyone in the room can't help but hide their laughter from what was going on ---Including Mitsuya.

"Mikey---" Mikey cuts you off when he rushes out of the room and then comes back with some of Emma's clothes.

"Oi! Idiot! what are you doing with my clothes?!" Emma yelled, Mikey didn't listen to her as he handed you Emma's clothes.

"Here! take that! I don't know how to sew clothes but you can take Emma's clothes!" Mikey said, Emma bonked his head making him wince in pain. You started laughing at what you had just witnessed.

"Y/N...I don't think this is the best time for laughing...especially in your position..." Angry whispered at you but you just waved your hand slowly laughing even louder.

"I'm sorry! Is just that...Mikey...Do you like me?" You asked as you turned to Mikey, his ears were in the shade of a deep crimson red and he was bitting his lower lips.

"Yes he likes you, he wouldn't give you my clothes if he wasn't desperat---"

"I wasn't desperate!" Mikey yelled, cutting off Emma. You laughed once more as you handed all of Emma's clothes back to her, facing Mikey; you grabbed his face and lightly placed a soft kiss on his cheeks.

Kazutora and Baji whistling, Takemichi holding Hina's hand and the others just cheering.

"I like you too, Mikey..." Mikey's eyes widened but later on pouted.

"If you like me why did you choose Mitsuya?" He asked, everyone turned quiet once more.

"Well...It was just a logical answer, he cooks really good and he is a big brother and boyfriend material but I don't like him...It was just an out of the blue answer" You replied Mikey's question making everyone let out a sigh. Mikey was contented with your answer.

For the rest of the day all of you continued playing, the only difference is that you were now feeling relaxed while holding hands with the person you liked since middle school and also! Mitsuya can breath normally now because he won't worry about getting his ass kicked because of your answer from earlier, this was the only time he was thankful that a girl didn't liked him.

you watched the ex-toman boys eagerly catching up with takemichi quietly, hands resting against your chin as you took in the rare sight in front of you with a sad smile etched on your lips. this was the happy ending that mikey had sacrificed for everyone but himself. 

“a penny for your thoughts?” mitsuya asks, plopping down next you on to the stone steps. that’s right, it’s june 19th 2018, toman’s formation day anniversary and everyone had gathered around to re-open the time capsule from twelve years ago. “hm? nothing much. just missing a particular someone.” you hummed, dragging your fingers across the ground to draw a heart. mitsuya nods understandingly, knowing not to pry any deeper anymore and for that, you’re thankful. 

crouching down, you hesitantly picked up the the blue coloured envelope you left behind twelve years ago. unsure if you’d wanna read the contents of the letter your naive self written back then. with a deep breath, you slipped open the cover. revealing a photo of candid photo of you and mikey leaning on each other asleep with your mouths wide open taken by emma. 

dearest y/n, 

i wonder what you’re doing right now? 

are you perhaps finally studying in film? 

has that idiot manjiro finally proposed to you?

 or are you the one who proposed to him? 

“y/n, you’ll be with me for a long time right?” mikey asked, staring at the very sky that you both loved oh so very much with your hands intertwined. having grown up with each other since young had pretty much given you both the illusion that the two of you will always be a part of each other’s world. and you hoped with every inch of your heart that mikey wants it to be that way forever. “of course. you’re my heaven and home mikey. i wouldn’t go anywhere else without you by my side.” you squeezed his hand in assurance, knowing that at this very moment, mikey was at his most truthful and vulnerable self with you. 

whatever it is, i hope that you’re living the happy life with him that you’ve been dreaming of.

you felt mitsuya’s comforting hand softly grabbing onto yours. “well that’s depressing,” you chuckled softly, wanting to get rid of the awkward tension in the air as soon as possible. “let’s grab some ramen, i’m starving.” and with that, you let your feet drag you away from the heavy atmosphere with your head hung low. 

perhaps the hurt wouldn't be as painful if you weren’t the only one who knew what kind of path mikey had chosen to go down. you see, when mikey turned his back against all his closest friend, you had the privilege of staying as his only constant thanks to your stubborn nature but even with that, you weren’t enough to keep him away from his dark impulses. mikey chose the path to destruction and the only thing that you could do was watch from the sidelines and be there when he shows up at wee hours of the night to borrow your body. but you didn't mind. it was during these most intimate moments with mikey that you finally get to feel a piece of him again when he spews the words of “i love you” so effortlessly.

“then kill me mikey.” the words slipped out of your tongue instantly. you were tired. tired of trying. you don't know what else can you possibly do to help mikey anymore. mikey says nothing but got off you. he dusted himself and without sparing you single glance, he showed you his back again, walking out of the door where sanzu was already holding open for him. “get her home.” you heard him say. 

it’s been a week since you guys opened the time capsule. nothing much had happened since then except you’ve been spending more time with hina considering how she’s often over to mitsuya’s studio for gown fitting. you admired and envy her love story with takemichi. but who were you to complain? you were lucky enough that mikey still wanted you around. so it shouldn’t hurt so much when you sae her adorning the beautiful wedding gown that mitsuya had spent months on tailoring. 

you let out a tired yawn, stretching your arms above your head as you finished touching up the last few bits of editing on your laptop. you looked over at the calendar on your table, a pink heart circled over today’s date and smiled. “mitsuya, i’m gonna knock off first okay?” you announced, tidying up your table and reaching out for the bag of the familiar favourite deserts of a certain male. 

mitsuya nods, “thank you for your hard work y/n”. he flashes you a smile, eye slowly trailing to the white plastic bag dangling from your side as you waved goodbye, back facing him and walking away. “you’re going to see him aren't you?” you stopped in your tracks. “i know he never left you. plus you got a bag filled with dorayakis and taiyakis. that’s pretty obvious.” mitsuya chuckles. you always knew mitsuya to be perceptive but it never once occured to you that your best friend who is also your boss would ever catch on to the secret you’ve been hiding for twelve years. 

“how did yo-” 

“be careful y/n.” mitsuya waves you off, going back to whatever he was doing. a fond smile creeps onto your lips as you watched mitsuya working hard. “thank you mitsuya. for everything. really,” you whispered, but loud enough for the dual dyed coloured hair boy to look up again when you walked away. 

you made your way towards the secluded vip section of the club through swarms of body swaying around you until you saw the familiar tall pink haired male standing outside the golden door. 

“hey sanzu,” you greeted, barely audible over the loud booming music. you were about to push the door open when sanzu towers over you immediately, denying you of your entrance. you looked at sanzu in confusion, “it’s me, y/n. i’m here to see mikey.” you said loudly, voice straining to over power the background noise. “ i know. but mikey will not be seeing anyone right now.” he retorts back. 

surely mikey knew that you were visiting tonight right? after all it’s your anniversary date. you tilted your head at sanzu. not fully understanding what he’s saying. to say that you’re feeling absolutely livid would be an understatement right now. you’re too tired, angry and broken hearted to process anything anymore so you exploded. you only wanted to see your boyfriend. was that a very difficult request? 

“sanzu,” you said lowly, eyes staring blankly into his and as if on cue, you brought your knees to his precious manhood before making another high kick at him, bringing him down. it was a technique that mikey had taught you when you were younger and attending martial arts lesson together with baji. god you missed baji so much. 

“y/n because you’re short, you can do this instead.” mikey suggested smugly, kneeing poor baji’s little friend before swinging his legs much more harder than he intended to at baji’s profile when he bent forward. the main point was to get your opponent to lean forward so that your legs could reach high enough to create an impact on their skull. you eyes lit up in excitement, “wow! that’s so cool! let me try it!” you jumped impatiently. turning towards mikey to execute the exact same move. “wait n-! AHH,” mikey’s eyes widened, and before he knew it, you had completely knocked him over. 

that day, as mikey and baji lied down with pain still intact barely moving an inch, shinchiro only gave you a thumbs up and praised you for taking down the invincible mikey. you were the only one who could do that. 

“sanzu, i’ll see my boyfriend as and when i’d like to.” you said curtly, eyeing sending daggers at him lying on the ground before stepping over him to swing the door open, revealing your petite self to the other bonten’s executives and hostess who were staring at you in surprise. 

you don’t see anyone else but your lover who’s currently sitting in the center with two pretty hostess sitting by his side. you don’t hesitate and begun walking  towards him. “get your hands off my man.” you said calmly. there was tension in the air and from the corner of your eyes, you could see the executives slowly getting up to leave as if on cue. 

“aren’t you as stubborn as always,” he raises a brow as you settled down next to him, pouring the bag of dessert on the glass table in front of you. you smile softly, grabbing a packet of taiyaki and handing it to him before grabbing one for yourself too. “happy 14th anniversary mikey.” you mumbled softly before grabbing a bite.  14 years, that was how long you two had been together for. “mhm. happy 14th anniversary y/n.” mikey hums, allowing you lean in close to him and resting your head on his chest. 

you take in the scent of mikey for you knew that this is going to be the last time you’re going to be able to hold mikey close to you. you didn't want this moment to end but you were too tired to continue on and see what's going to happen the next when you go back to just another normal day. you held tightly to the gun you hid in your bag, shutting your eyes tightly. 

“hey mikey,” you called out. you never thought you’d see it again but you saw a flash of endearment in his eyes when you called him. “i love you so much, promise you’ll take care of yourself alright?” you smiled warmly before pulling the gun out of your bag and putting it against your head.

" Don't you think this too much?" Takemichi sweat drop, early this morning he got a message from his girlfriend that she want to meet him at a park when he arrives he sees something unexpected.

Rose flower petals covered the ground, a balloon with the word "I love you" and even an unlit candle being placed in half circle. He then sees his girlfriend Hina along with his other friends.

Mikey is trying to wolf down a box of chocolate while Draken tries to stop him. Mitsuya is smiling happily, in front of the silver-lilac boy is Emma, she is wearing a beautiful dress, blushing slightly at what Hina said.

" What do you mean too much? Confession to [ name ] must be perfect!!" Emma glared at the boy making him raise his hands in defensive. " [ Name ] - senpai?" Takemichi remembers who that is, the first-year student of Shinjuku Academy. A gentle girl who has always been seen together with Emma and Hina.

He will not judge someone but on his mind, he did think that ' Aren't she too old for Emma ?' Yet the look on the younger girl makes him zip his mouth shut.

Night coming fast, you who just got a message from Draken ask you to come to the park quickly rush there. The boy did say it is important for you to come there fast. Panting slightly, you enter the park, looking around for the tall male.

Your eyes widen a bit when you see not Drake but Emma wearing a dress with your favorite color, hairstyle neatly, and on her hands are a bouquet of rose flowers. " Emma?" You are a bit confused by this, walking towards the girl you see her smile widen.

She then gives you the bouquet which you take with a bit of hesitance, "What the meaning of all this?" You ask awkwardly, Emma's face turning pink, she plays with a strand of her hair, gathering the courage.

Emma takes your free hand startling you a bit, looking at her you see she is serious, " [ Name ], I know this is weird for a girl to like a girl but I don't care. You are a beautiful, kind, gentle, and the most amazing girl I ever know. I don't want anyone to take you away from me that why, will you be my girlfriend?" She confessed.

You lick your dry lips, looking anywhere except for the girl, " E-Emma..that speech is beautiful.." Your word makes her beam at you but soon it falls when she sees your apologetic face.

"But I can't... I'm sixteen..you thirteen... You are too young for me. I don't think this relationship will work." With a heavy heart, you let her hand go, " I only see you as my...." You bit your lips, swallowing down the regret, "My sister... I'm sorry.." You smile bitterly at her before you walk away.

Emma stares at your fading figure disappear completely, one by one her tears slide down her cheeks. "Emma.." Mikey approaches his sister, he gently places his hand on the girl's shoulder and that is the last straw, Emma falls on her knee crying out her pain.

Hina quickly wraps the girl in her embrace, comforting the girl. Takemichi knows this will happen but he knows something else, looking towards the way you disappear he knows you feel the same pain.

You too like the younger Sano but it is the age that prevents you guy's love. Emma is still young and you are too old for her, if you two get together what will society say? What will the other say? It's okay if they talk about you buy you don't want anyone to talk bad about Emma.

Love is beautiful yet it is cruel .

Twelve years have passed, you now are [ dream job ]. It's been a long time since you see any of your friends especially the Sano family. There is no way you can meet any of them after rejecting Emma. To this day, you regret your decision but that is what for the best. " [ Name ]- senpai?!" You hear a familiar voice turning around you see a beautiful blond woman looking at you with wide eyes.

You stare at her trying to remember who she is, your eyes widen when you recognize the female, "Emma?!" She smiles happily when you remember her, approaches you, she gives you a smile that you miss. " How are you? Isn't been twelve years." You nod your head rubbing the back of your neck.

"Yes, I'm doing great." Looking away, you try to hide the heat rising to your cheeks, " You grown-up beautiful..." Emma blink a few times before her face turn red, " Y-you too! You look really beautiful.." This is getting awkward, bitting your lips, you let out a heavy sigh.

"Emma ... About what happens that day.." She stops you before you can continue smiling a bit forcefully, "No, it's okay!! I understand, I understand why you reject me." She tries to put on a cheerful face, looking around, " Are you with your partner?"

You shake your head frowning, " No...I don't have a partner..how bout you?" She too shake her head, you let out a small 'ooh'. Seeing Emma for the first time in twelve years, she has grown into a beautiful woman, this makes your heart beating faster. If she still hasn't had any boyfriend or girlfriend, maybe just maybe, you can finally make a move? After all, you two have already grown into adults, if you two get into a relationship, no one will judge you two, except for homophobic but screw them.

Gathering your courage, you take Emma's hands, she looks shocked by this, shyly looking at your eyes, " Emma, d-do you want to go on a date with me?" You shut your eyes tightly, waiting for any rejection but you feel her squeezing your hands.

"I-i love too.." You two smile brightly, face turning pink .

One date turning to a hundred. All of your friends supporting your relationship, though Mikey kinda threatening you earning a slap of the head by his sister. Two years you guys having a relationship, you two decide to take a further step.

Wearing a dress wedding make by Mitsuya, both of you hold back the tear threatening to fall. You smile at the woman of your life, she looks absolutely beautiful, Emma stares at you in the eyes, she too thinks you look beautiful in that dress.

"Welcome! We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the marriage of [ last name] [ name ] and Sano Emma. This is not the beginning, but a celebration of the next chapter in their lives together. Today, they will affirm this bond formally and publicly. This affirmation is made even more meaningful because it’s shared with all of you, their most cherished friends and family.[ Name ] and Emma, today you not only marry the right person, but you also commit to being the right partner—the one with whom the other can stand and face the world. It’s time to joyfully seal this chapter with the declarations that will unite you in marriage."

She nods her head, " I do." She answers confidently.

That what happens three years ago, you look at the pictures of your guy's wedding with loving eyes, "Mama looks so beautiful, right?" You look at your adopted son, to see him already sleeping. You giggle and kiss the top of his head, "Sleep well shin.." You muttered.

Hi! I’m here to bring you yet another Danganronpa tier list: the sexuality tier list, which you can find here.

Now I’m going to be honest here: I don’t really have any LGBT headcanons. It’s just not really something I focus on much when it comes to fandoms. Instead I usually just focus on ships, and as a result from that I tend to present a lot of characters as LGBT in fanfictions and posts I’ve made or reblogged. In other words, a massive chunk of my “headcanons” here are a direct result of shipping (as well as information I’ve picked up from the games themselves). That being said, it was interesting to actually think about this for once, so I’m kinda glad I did the tier list. And it gave me an excuse to bring back the rainbow color scheme I usually put in my tier lists for aesthetic reasons.

The original tier list had Straight at the top, but I moved it to the bottom for two reasons. One, this is Tumblr and that’s not what you’re here for. Two, I gave it a neutral color, and having a gray section next to a white section (i.e. the title of the list) like that looked bad to me. I definitely prefer this setup just on aesthetic alone.

Because this is largely based on ships, I feel it needs to be said that representation does not factor into this chart in any way. I know it probably looks bad that the only character in the Lesbian category is one of my least favorite (though NOT hated or even disliked, I should point out) characters in the main series. That has nothing to do with the fact that she’s a lesbian. She’s just a jerk, and usually not in a way that’s at least entertaining enough for me to like her.

Also keep in mind that this is just the main cast of the main series games. If you were to include characters from the DR3 anime, UDG, or the spin-offs, the Gay, Lesbian, and Ace categories would get more rep, certainly. Think Juzo, Yui, Takemichi, that gay guy with the trumpet, etc.

With that said, let’s go through the list:

Gay

Not gonna lie, one of the reasons why Rantaro is here (and not in Ace) is because of ships. Though I do sometimes ship him with girls, canon suggests he’s not interested in dating girls, and most fans seem to headcanon him as either gay or ace because of this, so I respected that. That being said, I also acknowledge he’s a very popular character in mlm ships, and at the time I was putting this together I hadn’t gotten to Taka yet so the Gay tier was still empty, and Byakuya was already sitting in Ace, so all of that swayed me to putting Rantaro here instead of Ace.

Taka was much easier to place here. He strikes me as a closeted gay man who probably doesn’t even realize he is gay. “Hey, let’s all hang out in the bath, guys! Getting naked is essential to form bonds with your fellow man! No need to be ashamed, it’s tradition!"

Lesbian

Again, ships. I only ship Hiyoko with one other character, and as soon as I say that you already know who she is.

Bisexual (Male Preference)

Akane is mostly here to account for any wlw ships I may have of her (e.g. Hina, Sonia maybe). Obviously she has a thing with Nekomaru, so Male Preference.

Chiaki is here for the same reason as Akane. I’ve shipped her with characters like Sonia and Ibuki before, but she really digs Hajime.

Chihiro honestly could have been anywhere in the Bi and Pan sections, but I ultimately went with Male Preference because of ships, specifically the fact that outside of the more... R18 circles of the Interwebs Chihiro tends to be shipped with guys more often than girls. Also doesn’t hurt that my OTP is Naehiro. I mean, have you seen how often Chihiro blushes around Makoto? (There’s more to it than that, as I’ve covered in the past. I’m just trying to add more fuel to the fire.)

Himiko is probably one of the few characters that isn’t here mainly because of ships. I do think she has some attachment towards Tenko, but I also get “I’m uncomfortable around her” vibes from her, and there are moments where she seems to crush on Kokichi (of all people) so that’s why she’s here. Still very much bi, though.

Hina has a crush on Makoto and has a complex around wishing she was more feminine so she can attract boys. So why isn’t she in the Straight section? ...Because Sakura, duh. And Kyoko too. And any other wlw ship you can think of that might work with Hina.

Honestly if it wasn’t for Miu I probably would have considered putting Kokichi in Gay. Again, while shipping plays a big part of my choices here, much like with Rantaro I have no qualms with putting a character in a tier that contradicts any ships I might have with that character, if those ships aren’t something I’m super invested in. This is a very important distinction, because it’s why I let ships sway my hand for so many of these even if I am also okay with going “Just because I ship this doesn’t mean I headcanon it” as I did with Rantaro. And honestly Kokichi’s ship teasing with Himiko does come off as more trollish than a sign that he’s into her, but he really gets into his back-and-forth with Miu, in my personal opinion, and he gets into it far more often with her for that matter. It’s why it’s one of my favorite ships for both of them tbh, and it’s because I like the ship so much that I just can’t ignore it for this sexuality headcanon tier list.

Maki... is here because of ships (e.g. Kaede).

Sakura... is here because of ships (e.g. Hina). ...What, you were expecting me to put a guy in the example? Remember, she has a boyfriend in canon.

Sayaka... is here because of... NOT ships, but DRAT. Yes, really. (”We really got down and dirty, Naegi-kun.”)

Sonia... strikes me as someone who swings both ways. I can’t describe exactly why I feel that way, but yes.

Bisexual (No Preference)

Celeste wants a harem of vampire boys but shipping her with Kyoko is also very popular and honestly i feel like it would fit her character. She’s got a look that says “I could get any ass I want and I know it.”

Ibuki is decked out in blues and pinks, and also I ship her fairly evenly among both boys and girls. She just screams bi icon to me, more so than any other character in the series.

Junko is either bi with no preferences or pan. She is an equal opportunity heart-and-soul-breaker and lust-for-despair machine.

There is no Mukuro in this list, but honestly I would probably put her where I put Junko anyway.

Kaede... is here because of ships (e.g. Miu, Maki)

Honestly I had no idea where to put Kirumi, so I just randomly chose one that I wouldn’t regret later if I ever put more thought into who I shipped her with.

I’m pretty sure Nagito being bisexual has some degree of canon attached to it??? I think??? I’m not entirely sure tbh, but fuck it. I’m doing this for fun anyway, so this doesn’t really matter.

Shuichi, like all Danganronpa protags, is bi as fuck. I also find him to be more shippable with guys than the other two protags, so IMO he has no preference.

Toko might have a thing or two for pretty boys, but... Komaru, I mean, this isn’t exactly shocking, I don’t think. Probably was closeted before she met Komaru. I mean she did focus on Hina’s boobs a lot in DR1, let’s not forget.

Tsumugi, much like Kirumi, is here because I haven’t put much thought into her ships.

Bisexual (Female Preference)

Gundham has a thing with Sonia in canon, but I can see him being bi. So... yeah, ships again.

Hajime, like all Danganronpa protags, is bi as fuck. It’s just that his Chiaki and Mikan game is just too strong.

Hifumi might claim to only like 2D, but his interest in Chihiro both in human form and computer program form (and the fact that this didn’t go away after the gender reveal) places him here.

Kaito strikes me as a closeted bisexual. The kind that could start any given conversation with “I’m not gay, but...”

Kazuichi also strikes me as a closeted bisexual, only his “I’m not gay, but...” is rooted more in dumbass than it is in systematic homophobia.

Korekiyo... is here because of ships (e.g. Rantaro).

Kyoko is bi as fuck, and I can see her having a preference towards girls in particular. She gets shipped with girls a lot (e.g. Celeste, Hina, Yui, and even Junko and Mukuro), and when she is shipped with boys it’s usually just pretty boys (e.g. Makoto, Byakuya, Ryota, Shuichi, and, depending on your interpretation, Chihiro). Also note that aside from Makoto and maybe Byakuya, Kyoko’s girl ships are far more popular than her boy ships. Just something I’ve noticed over the years.

Leon... is here because of ships (e.g. Chihiro).

Mahiru is here because I’m pretty sure she has a thing for Hajime in her FTEs, but obviously she tends to get shipped with girls more often (especially Hiyoko), and I agree.

Makoto, like all Danganronpa protags, is bi as fuck. It’s just that his Kyoko, Hina, Sayaka, and Mukuro game is just too strong.

Mikan may be interested in Hajime somewhat, but her obsession with Junko cannot be ignored, no matter how much some of you may want to.

Mondo is another character that strikes me as a closeted bisexual. He is said to strike out all the time with girls, so I do think he’s attracted to women. And I do get some vibes that he’s attracted to Chihiro pre-reveal. And if circumstances had been different, I imagine he probably still would have been post-reveal. But obviously it’s his bond with Taka that I feel cements his sexuality in, at the very least, an mlm category.

Tenko... is here NOT because of ships, but because I’m pretty sure she’s at least sort of interested in Shuichi because of some canon thing... and also I don’t want to put her in Lesbian just because it feels like I’d be stereotyping the Lesbian category if I do that. If we were to compare her to the character that I did put in Lesbian, Hiyoko doesn’t treat people like shit because they’re men, she’s an equal-opportunity asshole. Still not the best representation for lesbians by a long shot, but at least Hiyoko doesn’t follow the stereotype of a man-hating lesbian. She’s just like that, and that’s okay. But putting Tenko there, especially if she’s shown some degree of interest in a male character at some point in the game, just rubs me the wrong way personally, because it would feel like I’m ignoring canon just to stereotype her. But that’s just a personal hang up of mine. No disrespect intended toward anyone who genuinely feels that Tenko is a lesbian. Maybe you see something there that I don’t, and that’s perfectly fine.

Pansexual

I don’t remember exactly how her FTEs went, so I’m not going to get into that, but Angie just comes off as pan to me, like gender doesn’t fit into the equation at all for her.

Gonta I can see as either pan or ace. I feel like he wouldn’t care about gender, and honestly the only reason I decided to put him in Pan rather than Ace is because of that scene with Miu.

Imposter is not only pan, they are currently OT3ing it up with Ibuki and Ryota as we speak, and that’s a fact.

Keebo... is mostly here because of ships. A lot of ships, actually. Mostly male ships (Kokichi, Shuichi, Kazuichi, and, depending on your interpretation, Chihiro) but there’s also Miu to consider. And the Miu game is SO strong that I put him in Pan instead of, say, Male Preference.

Just gonna lump them together because I have the same thing to say about both of them: Miu and Teruteru would **** anything that walks. What did I censor? Well, I’m doing the Nier: Automata thing, so you can put whatever you want in there and trust me, it would probably fit, for better or for worse.

Ace

I know this is an unpopular opinion, because Naegami, but I just don’t think Byakuya is interested in anyone, at least not in that way. He might be fascinated with how common people live, because it’s so foreign to him, but that’s about it.

Straight

Even though I do ship Fuyuhiko with some of the boys, his Peko game is so strong that honestly I can’t see him actually dating anyone aside from Peko outside of some very niche fanfiction.

Honestly, Hiro was another one that I was just like “I have no idea what to do with you.” I think maybe his team up with Kanon made me eventually choose to put him in Straight? I don’t remember. I clearly didn’t put much thought into Hiro.

I really only ship Nekomaru with Akane, so that’s why he’s here. I’m sure if I dive deep enough into my psyche I can pull an mlm ship with Nekomaru in it out of my ass, but like Rantaro that wouldn’t be significant enough to change anything.

Peko is in the same boat as Fuyuhiko. I have shipped her with girls before, but her Fuyuhiko game is just too strong.

Ryoma had a girlfriend once, and as far as I can remember he didn’t really seem interested in anybody in the game, so that’s all I have to go off of for him.

So there you have it. Explanations for literally all of them! Explanations that were definitely not pulled out of my ass as I was typing them, nope, certainly not. Definitely won’t be tagging all of them, but I may tag the ones with the longest entries. And like all the tier lists I’ve done, this was just for fun and honestly any opinion I have for any of these characters could change at a moment’s notice because my brain is fickle like that. Tried my best to make sure that every tier had at least one character in it, but I did so without trying to force characters in places that I personally did not believe they should go. I hope you all enjoyed my dive into this area of fandom that I rarely dive into (the LGBT headcanons, not the ships, obviously). It was a lot of fun, and hopefully it will stay fun and not result in angry anons blasting me for my opinions. I am grateful that this never seems to happen to me, but I’ve seen it happen to others and I know what Tumblr is capable of at its worst. These are just headcanons and a matter of personal opinion, and if you disagree with them, that’s perfectly okay. Your feelings and opinions are also valid.
