sneepy cozy time....
#cats#longing to one day hopefully feel sleepy cozy like this again...#There was a pretty cool week here so I thought we had progressed closer to cool fall weather but... NO#..wrong!! It's like 80F in my room right now and was 98F outside yesterday. We get two more 'cooler' days and then#it starts going up again and will be in the high 90s possibly 100 something later this week#in my mind september should be COOOOOLLLL!!!!! or at least STARTING to get there.. Like mid 80s at the highest.#I am going to explode the world with evil wizard powers aaRGHaaHHHHHHHH#OR at least it should get down really low at night. I think thats the main thing is if it's 95 in the day and only 62 for like 3 hours in#the middle of the night then even leaving a fan in windows all night is not enough to fully cool down the house because its just not#enough cold air or cool for long enough. If it were 98 in the day but 15F outside at night then you could probably bring cool air inside al#night and your house would be at a relatively low starting point for the next days heat.#Like for example - in my apartment on a hot and sunny day. Even with every window#closed and blocked off with thick layers of reflective stuff and also not using the stove or doing anything to generate heat - the apartmen#will still go up on average about 6 - 8 degrees in one day. Peaking around 8 - 10pm night time. If I start off with the house cooled down#to 60F. then the highest it would get is 66 - 68 which is tolerable#.But if the lowest I can cool the apartment all night is still only 75F#then it's going to be 81 - 83F by the end of the day. So really it would be bearable (ISH)#for it to be warm as long as it was colder at night.#Though still the IDEAL is to not have to structure my life around envrionmental management and constantly be checking the#outdoor temperature so I can put the fans in the second that it's colder outside than it is inside and putting elaborate curtain systems#up and down at the exact right times and meal prepping 4 days in advance so I dont have to use the stove for 3 days and blah blah blah#Life in the colder weather months is so effortless and breezy in that sense. I can just have the window open all day and get natural light.#I can cook whatever I want. I can wear what I like. I can move around the house freely without needing to always#carry a fan around with me or douse myself in water.#ANYWAY.... oh if only that were me.... snuggled in a warm blanket ... a comforting wintery image...

#tags in english so my mutuals can understand#but oh my god i've never been happier after a concert#bad things first:#we waited a ridiculously long amount of time and slept in the cold and the wait was bad and getting into the stadium was awful#bc the venue and the ppl scanning tickets were poorly prepared#and even though i was first on the queue i ended up on third row and lost my friend#and ppl were pushing but honestly it was only bad at the beginning#i couldn't breathe well by the third song (bc also i was wearing thermal layers bc outside it was freezing)#(it was so crowded i couldnt even move my arms least of all take layers off) (thankfully the girl next to me kept giving me water)#so i tried to get out but i couldnt even take a step sideways so i decided to stay and will myself to have fun#and not care abt people pushing me to get in front of me and just move wherever the crowd took me instead of holding my place#and i ended up a few rows behind but honestly??? BEST DECISION EVER#i couldnt see him well most of the time bc of the phones but when i did it was GLORIOUS#and the crowd was alive and all together i dont know how to explain it#not to compare but with harry the crowd was TOXIC all the way through like v individualistic#but with louis there was cohesion and companionship and idk!!! we were just all there having fun#and yeah some people were mean and ppl kept pushing and being selfish but it just felt different#and louis. oh my god#you could feel his love and his energy and his passion#when he sang silver tongues he sang ''i know nobody understands (GREAT LYRIC) me like you do''#like he said the words great lyric. i dont know if he did that in other shows but it felt like a hug honestly#like yes!!! me and you until the end!!! we made it!!!!! there's nowhere else that i would rather be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#i'm filled with so much love for him#and it honestly reinstated my faith in crowds#oh it was just all so lovely#im trying to think of highlights but the whole thing was amazing

thought to myself "maybe there ARE things to do out here in the boring suburbs in winter since I don't have time to transit all the way to/from the city the next few days" and looked up things to do in the larger town next to mine. and number 7 on the list is just Go To Kohls, so, so much for that plan
#2 of the top 3 were 'go look upon this nativity scene' and the other was a brewery as were 5 and 6#they placed target after kohls on the list which i personally feel its the other way around#i make fun of my family here for not having Hobbies or Doing Things but god it truly is a 40 min drive to any Places or Activities#in the summer i can go to the forest preserve and such but in winter theyre just brown and sad and u cant bike bc Wet or Icy#sigh#tho it was warm enough i did go kayaking on christmas so at least theres that#anyway im officially Stir Crazy its been 5 days of Get Togethers that consist of Sitting Around and im no longer midwestern enough for this#also this house is so cold. like 62-65º. so i also cant leave the Blanket Nest ive constructed on the couch despite wearing 2 pairs of pants

my nightmares are so fucked up because almost every single one of them start out as dreams and then suddenly my worst anxieties are coming true, or i’m on the cusp of death or someone i care about is killed before me or wherever i was is actually a plot to kidnap me ect ect like REM why you gotta do me like that

i finally finished alternate outfit designs for my ocs :) well these five at least lol
ill put the individual frames under the cut!
#finn's ocs#i think tumblr sort of made the drawings a bit blurrier so its harder to see some details like saiphs scars or miras stretch marks... sad!#hopefully clicking on it solves that?#anyway i ended up doing the pjs after all bc i figured messy hair would be fun to do#and if i was going to put saiph in underpants anyway it would be funny to do like. the cartoon heart boxers but w fire lol#the formal looks were fun to do though. you can tell al's is like totally inspired by utena's look in aou#there are for sure through lines i wanted to keep w all their outfits like in general#aside from just keeping the same colors and general style#like mira always has like a cold shoulder look and tends to have somekind of asymmetry towards the bottom#except for her formal look for the latter#saiph always wears those wrist things no mater what. also he always has somekinda flame pattern#polaris either has snowflakes stars or compasses ofc. and if she has somekinda skirt the red will be Under it#bella has the same skull design on her bows. except for the pj look where now the skull itself is wearing a bow#and al has the stars on the strings and mismatched shoes#the most similar outfits are the summer/spring and winter/fall ones#those are pretty much default outfits so thats why#and their hairstyles in the winter/fall looks are like just slightly longer versions of their summer/spring styles#they dont really change hairstyles for the beach and pjs aside from the long haired characters pulling them up different#or putting them down for the pjs look. in bellas case#their formal look probably has the most difference in hairstyle. like theyre not just grown out or pulled back#theyre like actually styled different#these arent their final looks btw there are like completely different timeskip designs too but like#id have to use different bases for those probably. there would be changes LOL#but yeah :)#finn's art#forgor that one

Guess who’s miraculously the only person in my house that don’t have Covid 💪🏻
Both my parents are miserable right now and we knows they got it from my grandfather who we saw Sunday but didn’t find out he had it until Monday. I don’t have it now but if I get it I’m gonna be fucking pissed cause I have never had Covid in the over 4 years it’s been around. And I’m the only person I know who still always wears a mask whenever I’m out in public
So I have now quarantined myself to the living room where I’m sleeping on an air mattress. I mean it ain’t that bad tho cause I’m right next to the kitchen and it means I have the big ass tv and my ps5 lol. You might be thinking why not just stay in your own room? Because of the shitty timing we’re supposed to be completely redoing my room rn which means all my shit is everywhere, I have no floor, I can’t sleep in my own bed 💀
Also there is a long ass rant about stuff in the rags that you don’t have to read. Really you didn’t even have to read anything anyways lol.

i don’t tend to use like many specific labels to describe my sexuality (enbian being the main exception <3) but but i found a bi flag at goodwill yesterday and it didn’t have a tag and the lady at the register (who was sooo sweet!!!!) charged me like a buck for it and i taped it to my ceiling right over my bed and it’s justttt nice :))
#i also went to a savers (which was a Quest considering i avoid highways because of my brakes)#and i foundddd a pony (g3 butterscotch!) and also a rainbow dash hat perfect for the cold weather a unicorn necklace (WITH A BEARD!!!)#and not one but TWO pairs of plaid pants in a comfortable size#and one of them hollllyyyyy FUUUUUCK#they're PINK. I knew today was gonna be a shit day when I realized I didn’t have any clean boxers left
#the underwear I’m wearing rn is so uncomfortable#it all went downhill from there#my train was late#it was cold af#my beanie is too itchy#then I worked all day on the same sample I’ve been working on since Monday#normally it takes me less than a day to do one two days max for a big one#and the worms I had to identify today were all from the same family and you can only tell the species apart with a microscope#with which I can only do about four worms at a time#and usually when you have a lot of worms that look similar its only two or three species#and its only a few worms that are different#but the new species just kept coming#then when I had to put all the animals on alcohol#I dropped one of the dishes on myself#so my pants got all wet#and now I’m finally on my way home an hour late#waiting for the next thing to go wrong#and also I’m so so tired bc emy kept jumping on my bed last night and I slept like shit
