went to this comedy show/folk religion in chicago last night (you may have seen them on tiktok capitalizing on the viral buzz of the chicago rat hole, though they've been around for over a year). one of the weirdest and funniest shows i've ever been to, so check them out if you can.

anyway, could not help but think it was extremely charlie kelly-coded the whole time. they should do an episode where mac tries to help him find god, but he finds ratology instead.

I'm endlessly entertained scrolling through the youtube comments of the songs on chipmunks on 16 speed and uncontrollable urge making up elaborate chipmunk lore about them being young stars corrupted by drugs and alcohol

I think alvin & the chipmunks sped up & nightcore sped up are different genres because I listen to alvin & the chipmunks covers more than nightcore ones

🤔 mayhaps..... I thought they were the same bc I used to always see alvin and the chipmunks versions of songs as a kid and they seemed to disappear as I started seeing nightcore versions around, but I also haven't listened to nightcore much to compare
