there are a few hc’s that have been sitting in my head a lot lately but !! current faves are :

rin with his s/o on his mind 24/7. it doesn’t matter how busy he is or if he has to rush home to make his hectic schedule work. you’re a part of his routine now, soaked into his flesh and psyche and so, it comes natural to him to park right by the nearest flower shop. rin, make sure you wake up to freshly cut flowers each and every morning - whether it’s right on your nightstand, the vintage vase in the hallway or sitting on the kitchen table neatly, rin always makes sure to grab a nice arrangement for u on his way back home from morning practice <3 he leaves while the sun still hasn’t risen and comes back two or three hours later when the sun rays just start to seep through and tingle at your closed eyes, pulling you from the deep slumber. one look to your side is all it takes to know that he’s back, though, as the different flowers seep their aroma into the room and tangle your vision with their bright colors. sometimes, when you need to get up slightly earlier or when his practice runs late, you open your eyes to him swapping the bunch out, the rustling waking you - and he gives a small hum when you reach over to tug at his shirt, warm from the dryer but already smelling so much like him and his cologne. “morning, love,” he glances your way the second he’s done and plops down next to you, leans over to press a chaste kiss to your lips. you can feel him smile against your mouth when your arms wrap around his neck - and it all settles into place, no matter what kind of day you have ahead of you <3

AND SECONDLY,,

rin, who’s not too big on any sorts of pda - the only times someone ever sees you two together in any kind of intimate position is at an awards gala or when a paparazzi manages to get a shot or two. (they always seem to catch the moments when he just cannot wait to have u any longer - some would think they’re seldom, but his patience runs short, and there’s more pictures of you two in a heated kiss than he’d like to admit.) the only exception to this comes unexpected most of the time, and is more subconscious than not. it’s when you’re sitting or standing anywhere in close proximity and his fingers twitch against yours - hand aches to feel all of your own. he gently wraps his fingers around yours, brings your hand up and without breaking eye contact or interest in his convo, he starts to mindlessly play with your hand. it’s sweet and languid, just a meantime activity as he talks - doesn't matter if it's with one of his friends, his manager or maybe some sponsor. proper big, yet soft hands keep playing with your smaller ones, fingertips running up and down your knuckles - tapping on your ring finger, as if in wonder and surprise that the spot’s empty. he’ll take care of it , though - rather sooner than later. <3

I love how sam is immediately adopted as part of the cheering squad 😂 Im just imagining diego and Addie going 'one of us!! One of us!!! One of us!!!' At sam and just merges em into the group like theyve always belonged there 😭 I knew sam and diego would be instant besties!! I love G and Sam too!! Though I guess I didnt flirt enough with G to trigger any sort of jealousy between G and Sam. But its fine, Ive found that G as a platonic friend is also very sweet and I honestly kinda prefer it for my MC!! (Who will cry themself stupid when G has to leave 😔)

Speaking of jealousy, I absolutely LOVE Rayyan being sooo jealous the whole chapter lmaooo like yes bby frown those beautiful eyebrows... oh, MC is wearing someone else's last name to their first season debut???? Ohh u are seething... who is MC seeing so badly that theyre holding up the game?? Who is MC waving at?? I cant wait to introduce Sam to the team 😊 hopefully they would be able to go home unscathed <3

ALSO the tension after the match with Rayyan!!!! UGH I WANNA LIVE IN THAT SCENE FOREVER GOD ITS SO---- The restraint, the longing, the 'i want them so bad but causing a scandal by making out sloppy toppy at ur first match is probably NOT GOOD, but im this 🤏 close to risking it all'...

It's so woefully inadequate, so woefully incongruent with the way he's looking at you, that you're a whisker away from growling in frustration and stepping in to kiss him in front of the entire Cargill crowd.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE LINE OMG!!!! AND THE WAY RAYYAN JUST GRABS UR HAND AND HUGS U INSTEAD!!! I AM FERAL. As for Rayyan... yes. They definitely are the competitive type, both when it comes to tennis and. Well. Romance.

Glad you enjoyed some of the interactions between the ROs/characters in the update, it was a lot of fun getting to write some of these dynamics after building up to them in earlier chapters. A personal fave was writing Tobin's locker room scenes, and G/Rayyan being soft, and Sam's reunion :)

Finally, I have lots of Sam/hallmate interactions planned for the weekend, so stay tuned for that!!

You make emotions and thoughts so crystal clear, and I love how complex every character is in your stories--whether they are minor or major players. There was so much to love in this chapter. Idk where to start. I loved the allusion to Dabi/Tomura's more intimate relationship together as well as THOSE complex feelings they (more so Dabi) have for each other. And I loved loved loved Keigo's POV, too--you actually had me feeling bad for him and rooting for him for a second when he stood up to the Chief! ALSO THAT MR. ORANGE REFERENCE FROM DABI TO KEIGO, SHGISHGS YOU CLEVER GIRL, I WAS SCREAMING IN EXCITEMENT!! Apart from the amazing character development we see in both characters and relationships in this chapter, the plot is getting so interesting in terms of the Chief's motivations/Keigo's motivations/Tomura's motivations and so much more I can't even type. AHHH!! Your stories are always worth the wait. You did such an amazing job bby, tumblr honestly doesn't provide enough space for all my praise and feedback. i just read part 1 of jtona and oh man im in pain but it's a good kind 😣✊mikasa's codependence was perfectly portrayed and honestly i wish everyone could read this because this woman just needs to be protected!! and she doesn't deserve being hated for being dependent on eren ;-; the 'palm reading' was so cute🤧 and i'll be taking a moment to admire how i can just picture everything u write! man, if i was a bot that can paint i would paint all the sceneries u write 🌹 i really love how u used the title within the story and i cant help but be giddy what it's like in the others' perspective ~

It was really hard to write for Mikasa because I (personally) find her character flat sometimes because Isayama makes so much of her personality / characteristics revolved around Eren. And then I realized that THAT is a huge part of her - that codependency, which makes sense canonically considering everything she went through with him - so I wanted to include that as much as possible (even though I don’t ship anyone).

And thank you! I was thinking of my fav ways to flirt (your hand is so big against mine haha~*~*~) and then wanted to twist it to something angsty / meaningful in the story.
