Ok I'll go with Alwill I haven't done much with them in a while.

I think the most likely time for them to get together is actually after the first part of the manga -- which I know that's super weird of me to say considering that it's likely sherliam is like a Thing if everything goes to canon.

But I also think that this is where William is most receptive to the idea of being loved for himself -- even if Albert has meant it the whole time.

(I think this is how I keep ending up on polyships where Will just gets loved by everyone all at once tbh. He deserves it.)

For MTP Angst Week 2023, Day 1: Scars and Injury.

When William went to Albert in the prison, with his eye patch, Albert couldn't help himself to feel sad and guilty over it. He took off the eye patch, taking in William's scar, a horrifying yet beautiful mark which told him that William was alive. Ever so gently, Albert kissed it while uttering apologies and blessings for the miracle.

I don't necessarily plan to, but I'm open to the idea if inspiration strikes. I can almost guarantee it would be painfully angsty if I did though. They're so tempting to torture. 😅 Even setting aside the incest-y elements (I'm on team "yes they are brothers in canon but they also met late enough in life that if you tweak their dynamic juuuuust slightly they could be more childhood friends to lovers who happened to live in the same house") they're just so ripe for pain. Albert worships William, and would eagerly follow him to death with a kind of religious fervor. William is secretly starving to be seen and acknowledged as human, and only wants those he loves to live. There's always this inherent mismatch to their desires and emotions and goals that just begs to be made into very painful fic.

When they were just about to go, it started drizzling.

Albert extended his hand, the rain wasn't that bad. “Shall we go, still?”

William's frown gradually morphed into something serene. “Put on a raincoat, at least?” Albert getting sick on his birthday was the least William wanted.

The smile widened. Under the rain, Albert had the best birthday.

Well, I know everyone jokes about Albert being Rapunzel in the Tower of London. But I know it's also a breeding ground for smut fics. "And Rapunzel was visited by the prince for days" In fact, I read a LouisxAlbert fic where Louis is the prince who visits the princess in the Tower. It is a very emotional, very hot fic that is in its own archive.

Promp fic: Albert is visited in the Tower by William/Microft/Louis/Moran, ect. As in the story of Rapunzel, being visited was the same as having sex.

Another promp fic of Albert in the Tower: Albert as Danee, locked in a Tower in which Mycrof visits him in the form of the dove and they make love. He is emotional, disastrous and with a touch of humor.
