Luka paints his nails black so he can stop biting them but it never works

Chloe has done a lot of sports but the most prominent are track running, gymnastics, and ballet

she doesn't do them that much anymore because of her grades, which is also why Sabrina is her tutor

Kagami knows Japanese, Mandarin, French, English, and Spanish (so does Adrien when she exists)

Chloe is learning Japanese

Alya wants to dye her hair sooo bad

Thinking of a camp blood au where Marinette is a demigod but doesnt know it and thinks she's just cursed in life lol. Fails school because she struggles waking up which makes her being late often. But also gets in the dumbest situations that her teachers dont believe her (the bus drove past me THREE times in a row mr.smith I swear!! I had to walk here!!), She is so naturally clumsy and destructive that she gets in trouble for that. And she would have dyslexia so reading also kinda sucks! So she goes from school to school which stunts her from making friends and her anxiety also stops her from making friends because who would wanna be friends with her? Clumsy awkward new kid thats just gonna get kicked soon? Her parents are also so patient and sweet and support her. They own a bakery where marinette likes to help at. (Or tries to despite accidentally dropping a pan of brownie cookies right before open. Her mom simply went 'guess we wont have that on the menu today!' and her dad helped her clean it up and they laughed it off. Tom is the step-dad in this au but he is the dad that STEPPED up ehehe)

Then she starts a new school and idk fights a monster with a help of a satyr? idk who the satyr is but they have 1 more kid to pick up who lives in the FANCY part of town (idk mf which state?? new york probably) and they fight off monsters on the way to this huge mansion where they find adrian!! who is currently battling ANOTHER monster and idk marinette uses her creative brain to fold it and the three run all the way to camp. idk if she should be a child of apollo or like athena(BRAIN BABY)? but thats how far my brain got :)

I am inquiring for information pertaining to your Fangirl Alternate Universe.

why are you still awake at this late hour. (I am still awake at this late hour bc I just finished reading Fangirl.) Anyway,

Adrien as Cath, Felix as Wren, Marinette as Levi, Luka as Reagan.

I sincerely doubt you've read Fangirl so I will, of course, elaborate.

Adrien and Felix (identical twins in this AU) are starting their first year of college together in some Midwestern state, probably Missouri because I'm rather fond of Missouri (I'd do my current state in the Northeast but the original state is set in Nebraska and it really needs that Midwestern vibe tbh.)

Adrien writes fanfiction. Lots and lots and lots of fanfiction. He lives in fanfiction. He loves it. After his father left, it kept him safe - fanfiction means something.

(About what? TBD. I'm considering doing something witty and making it about superheroes, someone suggested Naruto, I could always keep it Simon Snow - I did read Carry On a few years ago - but the main point is, he likes fanfiction. Probably gay fanfiction.)

After so many years together, Felix is now insisting they part ways for college, and Adrien - to his horror - has to deal with a randomly assigned roommate.

This ends up being Luka Couffaine. Who is... different. A little bit older. Cooler, more confident. He decidedly does not write fanfiction - and he's almost certainly not someone Adrien could talk with about fanfiction. And now Felix is pushing away, too, leaving Adrien alone.

Luka's girlfriend (girlfriend?) Marinette is also constantly hanging around the dorm, and despite everything, she's... different. Kind. Sweet. She seems interested in Adrien for who he is.

(AKA one of the most self indulgent AUs I've ever made. Kart, do you remember when I messaged you about the fake marriage AU and gave almost no context? I know you know almost nothing about that AU but more self indulgent then even that AU, which is very fucking self indulgent. Also, they'd both have the same "Alternate Universe - America" tag.)

My one character tip is give them some kind of hobby/interest/obsession that has nothing to do with the plot of the story. Makes them seem more like a real guy undergoing events than someone grown in lab specifically to inhabit the main character role

I wonder if any of the students are going to realize Ladybug and ChatNoir show up wayyy quicker when there’s an akuma attack in or around their school. Some times the akuma has just barely appeared and then Ladybug and ChatNoir bust in and no one’s like “how did hear about this?” Or “how did they travel across Paris so fast”
