Precious Gems

Rating: G Warnings: None Word Count: 1,217 Summary: This is my secret santa for my lovely friend @bambamnesiac from the FT Guild Awards server. I will be 100% honest, I hope you like this, because it was quite rushed. But here is the first installment of me pushing my Poker agenda, aka Cana/Bisca/Alzack AO3

Alzack leaned closer to his wife as their girlfriend chatted idly on his other side. He had his poncho wrapped closely around himself as he attempted to take more warmth from Bisca. The two of them and Cana are sat on a train bench as they make their way towards a simple mission a few towns over.

Originally the three of them had planned to spend the weekend inside, but some last-minute incidents led them to need to go on a quick mission. So, they left Ascka with the master and departed on their mission. Now Alzack is spread out across the bench, leaning back against Bisca, and his legs across Cana’s lap as she talks about some new tricks she had been learning.

A dopey smile crosses his face as he buries farther back into his wife’s warmth, taking in the way the poncho his girlfriend had stolen from him hangs a bit loosely around her. He feels as Bisca begins to braid his hair letting out a soft sigh as he relaxes into the touch. He slowly lets his eyes drift shut, relaxing, trusting that the others would wake him once they reached their destination.

Alzack felt a soft kneading at his sides which gently brought him back to wakefulness. He saw the tender look on Cana’s face as she looked at him, “Hi hun, we made it to the town.” He slowly slides off of their laps, settling his legs on the ground, and deeply stretching as he stands. However, he quickly hunches in to cover his stomach with a laugh as Cana takes the opportunity to tickle at his sides.

His girlfriend continues at her attempts to attack his sides as small laughs slip from his lips, though Bisca gently breaks them up. “Come on you two, we need to get off before the train takes off again.” He looks back and gives her a small smile as she corals the two of them off of the train.

Not a moment too soon as the train chugs off behind them almost as soon as they step off. He curls into himself as the cold seeps through his poncho and into his skin, letting out a shuddering breath, and seeing it puff into the air. Cana pulled up to one side of him, pulling a pair of gloves out of her pocket and slipping them onto his hands before taking one of them into her own. Bisca takes the other side sliding a hat onto him as well, before taking his other hand.

He smiles at his partners, leaning to give them each a kiss on the cheek before they begin to walk out of the station. Bisca takes the lead as she reminds them of the job, and where the client they are meeting with was.

Luckily the mission didn’t end up being something too complicated, just a small infestation at the edge of the town. The only complication had been convincing Bisca that she couldn’t keep an animal that she had found. They then quickly picked up their payment and were done before the day was out.

They decided to visit some local attractions in the town, the wintertime spreading a certain cheer in the air. Bisca and Alzack were unable to deny their Girlfriend when they watched a childlike joy spread across her face when she found an ice skating rink. She practically dragged them towards the area where you could get tickets.

Cana quickly got each of them their skates, fumbling a bit as she tried to get into hers. Alzack kneeled in front of her, holding her hands to stop her excited franticness. “Calm down my Diamond, let me help you.” He helped to tie up her skates before he moved to do his own.

Even though Bisca had agreed to the skating it did not indicate that she knew how to do it. She was able to get to the edge of the rink just fine by herself, but as soon as she stepped onto the ice her feet slipped out from beneath her and she fell straight onto her ass. She huffed as the partners stood in front of her and laughed, she fought down the smile that attempted to rise onto her face.

Finally, the two helped her up to her feet slowly helping her get a few feet on the ice before she slipped once more. They repeated this process a few times the grins on her partner's face growing each time, her expression getting fonder at the smiles on her love’s faces. 

The next time she went down it was more unexpected as she slipped, her hands tightening on the others, taking them down with her. They fell into one giant heap as Alzack landed straight on top of her and Cana was able to twist herself to land on her back beside her. The three of them just lay there for a few seconds before they all break out into giggles. Their chests heaving with laughter at the ridiculousness of it all.

Bisca could feel her heart swelled with the love that she felt for her partners. She looked down at the two of them as they continued to giggle, slowly coming down from their fits. After a few more seconds the other two stood up, before helping her up. Once stood she looks down at her love, a fond smile gracing her face. She leans down leaving a quick peck on her girlfriend's lips, then turns to her husband, leaning down more to kiss him as well.

After a few more rounds on the rink they decide to call it quits as they feel some of the exhaustion from the day begin to wash over them, joy filling their hearts. Bisca helps them each out of their skates, denying them the choice to do it themselves. Once they all were out of their skates and had returned them they walked around the town a little longer.

The three of them sat together on a bench huddled together, hot chocolate warming their hands as they cuddled close together. Cana lets out a content sigh, loving the feeling of her partners on each side of her. She sips at her cocoa, letting her eyes slip shut with another sigh as the warmth runs through her body. She loves simple days like this, a fun day with the people that she loves, the only thing that would make it better would be little Ascka but she’ll see her when they get home.

She opens her eyes once more as she glances at each of her partners. She still isn’t used to love like this, that fills her so deeply, and so whole. “I love you both so much, my Emerald, and my Sapphire, my precious gems.” She didn’t look directly at either of them with her confession but she could see each of their smiles.

She then felt a kiss on each of her cheeks as a blush surged to cover them. Her partners both pull back before she hears a whisper from Bisca, “And we love you, our Diamond.” Cana is content to live with this for the rest of her life, as she relaxes into their embrace, staring up at the beautiful sunset.

because it's rainy where I am

♡ a heavy rain cloud hangs over magnolia, and it feels like the sky is sobbing and howling with the wind outside. juvia worries that her guildmates will be mad at her for the rain, but they insist that it's the perfect weather to spend some time bonding in the guild hall.

♡ mira enlists juvia and wendy (not lisanna. she's a menace in the kitchen) to help her make warm drinks for everyone. there's hot chocolate, warm mugs of apple cider with cinnamon, and mulled wine. the fairy lights floating above the first floor seem to burn brighter when the dark sky obscures the sun. even though it's the morning, it feels like evening.

♡ no one is eager to go outside in the rain, so they open the sacred board game closet in the back of the guild hall. there's a variety of games, from simple ones like connect four to the complicated four-hour agriculture roleplays. levy and fried settle down for the most intense game of scrabble known to man. cana drags laxus into a series of card games with gray and loke. pantherlily, mira, erza, and wendy clear a table so they can act out an entire kingdom's history as they try to save their farms from extinction.

♡ if she ever frees herself from scrabble, levy wanders down to fairy tail's archive, where lucy is curled up with asuka, happy, and carla, reading an old storybook. they're on one of the plush couches, surrounded by fluffy pillows and a blanket. lucy feels her eyes drooping, and eventually she dozes off with the little cowboy and two exceeds in her arms. bisca and alzack are grateful for the quiet, taking the time to read their own books.

♡ of course, not everyone is happy being cooped up. erza has to break away from her game multiple times to stop natsu from going outside. she does not believe that him having fire magic will save him from getting a cold. eventually, natsu manages to slip past her, and he and lisanna splash around outside. lisanna drags juvia out, and they all end up soaking wet. erza and mira drag them back in with worried scolding.

♡ this prompts mira to start cooking a giant stew for everyone. natsu is tasked with keeping the huge pot hot with his fire while gray and mira chop vegetables and meat. the result is a hearty soup that the entire guild can enjoy. everyone leaves their board games (bisca gets lucy, asuka, happy, and carla) to settle at the guild's weathered wooden tables. the storm rages on, but inside the fairy tail guild hall, it's warm and lively as everyone shares a meal together.

guild members’ relationships with makarov headcanons!

Omg this is gonna get me so emotional! This post is gonna be so long holy shit

Makarov knows that these kids are super traumatized when they come to him. That's why he dresses like a funny little jester man. He doesn't want to scare them when they first join

He always takes the time to get to know and work with each kid that joins the guild. Makarov will take that child under his wing for the first week just to make sure they are comfortable

A lot of the members genuinely refer to him as their grandpa/dad (depending on which generation).

Makarov was still figuring out how to deal with children when Cana first joined. He feels he didn't do a good job at helping her when she first came

Cana, of course, disagrees and thinks the old man did a great job at helping her out when she joined

Cana has a ton of respect for him so when he asks her to cut down on drinking. She does so without question. (cutting down meaning drinking one barrel of liquor instead of two)

The two of them do regularly drink together tho

Gray goes to Makarov for advice the most out of the guild members. He really struggles with making the right decisions and Makarov is always there to listen with only minor judgement

Gray feels super indebted to Makarov. Even tho Makarov tells him all he wants for any of his kids is to live long and happy lives

Erza gave Makarov the most trouble when joining the guild. He had no idea how to get through to her. She was always polite and listened to him, but he couldn't get her to open up for the life of him

He just desperately wanted to make the little girl smile. The first time Erza smiled at him, he bawled his eyes out

Erza always makes sure to shoot him a smile when she enters the guildhall now

Natsu decides that since Makarov found him, he now owes Makarov his life. Makarov nearly has to beat it into Natsu that he does not owe him anything and that he is not to lay his life down for Makarov

Natsu then decides to live by the rule: 'you saved my life so now I'm your problem'

Natsu has so much respect for Makarov it's not even funny. But Natsu's love comes with a price. And that price is constant headaches

Mirajane actually didn't like Makarov all that much at first. She appreciated him bringing her family to the guild but she thought he was too lax with how he ran the place

The two of them really bonded after Lisanna's death

Lisanna adores Makarov. She's one of the few people who can catch him off guard and tackle him in hugs (it happens a lot. you'd think he'd catch on by now)

Elfman views Makarov as the perfect man. He wants to be like him. Makarov insists Elfman should find better role models

Mystogan views Makarov as his father. He cannot imagine anyone else who deserves the title

Mystogan's biggest regret was not being able to tell Makarov how much he appreciated everything he did for him

Bisca and Alzack were so upset that Makarov wasn't there for their wedding that they ended up getting remarried just to have him be a part of it

Every time Makarov compliments Gajeel, Gajeel has to fight back tears. He worked so hard to earn Makarov's trust and respect so now every time the guy is nice to him its almost enough to send Gajeel into a sobbing mess

cana herself is the bartender of the guild! she doesn't go on jobs often but sometimes she goes with bisca and alzack so they eventually just call themselves a team

bisca votes team saloon, cana says team whiskey, alzack does not care so its an on going fight until chico joins later and they settle on saloon

i have so many things written and planned but I'm keeping them to myself for plot, just know these r all like, early story designs

Fairy tail headcanons nobody asked for part 3

For a place men aren't allowed, fairy hills seems to really hate enforcing that rule. Evergreen can regularly be found having movie night with the thunder legion, natsu and gray come over to train with erza once a week, bisca has had alzack over almost every night, nobody gaf tbh.

Cana straight up cannot play most card games, she's been cheating so long she doesn't even know the rules anymore just goes with what her magic tells her.

Erza is a real pain in the ass when she's sick. She can take such a ridiculous amount of damage and keep fighting but one cold and it's so over. She flip flops between insisting she's completely fine and being a pathetic Victorian child dying of the scarlet fever asking to be taken out to the garden to see the sun one last time.

Unironically they've had to get freed to put up jujitsu shiki to stop her from getting up so she could actually get some sleep

Natsu and lisanna used to play wolves I don't take criticism

Wendy is exceptionally good at pick pocketing and nobody knows where she got that skill. She can take things off while you're looking right at her and it's rly unnerving

Laki is the one always fixing the guild after fights and because of this she's actually one of the strongest maker wizards there are from the sheer practice.

Lucy has the most random knowledge. Growing up she spent a lot of time reading and would sometimes just pick a book and go without caring what it was about. She could tell you sooo much about the reproductive cycle of earth worms guys

Levy is extremely interested in magic just in general, as a science. Part of the reason she started using script magic was that it was rooted in almost all magic types.
