Silly question ¿a qué huele el verano?

Tu pregunta me evoca muchas imágenes, puesto que nada hay más evocador que los olores. Los veranos de mi infancia en el campo olían a tomate fresco, a las verduras de la huerta de mi padre, al queso que hacía mi madre, al sudor del trabajo en el campo, a grano recién cosechado, también al ingrato olor del ganado, a la tierra mojada de las tormentas vespertinas. El de mi juventud olía a soledad, a libros mil veces leídos, a tinta derramada en un papel, a miedo y a fascinación, a oscuridad y a luz, al abrazo de algunos amigos, a viajes en autobús y a salto al vacío. El verano en el que vivo inmerso ahora huele a hogar, a sábanas limpias, a horchata con fartons y salmorejo, a tranquilidad y a seguridad. Y a amor.

1- Me toco la nariz con la lengua.

2- Soy el único murciano de mi familia, los demás son manchegos por lo que tengo un mejunje de acento interesante.

3-Una vez me rompí el nudillo y tardé en ir al hospital 1 semana porque pensaba que era un golpe tonto. Tenía hasta el meñique fuera de su lugar y me lo tuvieron que colocar. Me dolió eso más que el tener el nudillo roto xD.

Dilema filosófico de semana santa (no importa si eres creyente o no) ¿cuál es el mejor platillo de tu pueblo para estas fechas? Justifica tu respuesta

Hola querida!

Pues pensaba que no era dilema, pero si. Por un lado en mi casa siempre se ha hecho el potaje de semana santa, a base de patata, acelga, huevo duro y bacalao en vez de pollo o ternera, por aquello de no comer carne en tiempos de semana santa. Esta buenísimo y en días frescos reconforta.

Pero por otro lado están las torrijas. En España hay varias versiones pero yo me quedo con las de mi señora madre: rodajas de pan duro empapadas en leche, pasadas por huevo y fritas, y luego maceradas en más leche que ha sido hervida con azúcar, canela y limón. Fresquitas de la nevera están increíbles.

Sin duda me quedo con las torrijas 😋

Yes

2) Do u like to read comic books or manga?

i spent over 30 years immersed in comics, even went to SDCC in 1999 when the main focus of it was still comics. The people i got together there with from old Top Cow forum community were awesome and i had the pleasure of meeting @neil-gaiman and to this day i regret not having really been into his work at the time so i could have been a proper fangirl. Somewhere in the mid 2000s i drifted away from comics. i blame MMORPGs

3) Do u consider urself a people person?

Generally not, but i do try and take time if i see someone who looks like they could use a hand.

4) 3 things u do for fun

Play Everquest 2, doomscroll tumblr, Go to the beach (but no fun since moving to the midwest 10 years ago)

5) What is ur favorite color?

purple

6) What type of movies do u like to watch?

Sci-fi, Fantasy, Action, Thrillers. i'd add comedy, but generally older (10+ years)

7) Which do u prefer, boxing, MMA, or neither?

Boxing was HUGE when i was growing up and through the 80s. i have a friend who is friends with a former UFC champ, but i never really got that into it. And guilty pleasure or not, i admit that i follow and enjoy pro wrestling from several different companies

8) Do you have a favorite book?

With apologies to Mr. Gaiman who i now properly love, my favorite book is Lucifer's Hammer by Jerry Pournelle and Larry Niven. The end of the world comes to Los Angeles so i related to every detail of the book. Hot Fudge Sundae falls on a Tuesday this year 🙃.

9) Have u ever experienced anything supernatural?

i'd have to say no, but a different kind of mystical magic where the land meets the sea at dawn and dusk, and the joy of sharing the same waves bodysurfing with migrating dolphins at Free Zuma in March

10) Sorry, searching out and formatting music links is a lot of work on mobile. i'd go with artists rather than songs. Florence + The Machine, Pink, and the Go-Go's edging out Evanescense
