“Y/n, fix your posture and stand up straight.”
Y/n’s mother scolded her as they entered a family friend's house. They were invited to an event to kick off the summer at the Sargeants, friends of the L/n family, in Miami.
Y/n sighed as she listened to her mother and stood straight, fixing her knee-length dress. She was never one to disobey her parents. Despite studying at the University of Miami, she never attended parties or drank. She never rebelled.
Her mother hums in satisfaction as they walk farther into the house to head to the backyard where everyone is. Y/n was soft-spoken and quiet, following her parents around as they greeted everyone.
But after an hour, she got thirsty and decided to get a bottle of water. The water cooler was right next to the beers and other alcoholic beverages. She glanced at the cooler for a second too long when a voice interrupted her.
“Well, Y/n L/n. You look so pretty.”
She looked up in shock and was met with familiar icy blue eyes and a cheeky smile she hadn’t seen since she was 13. “Logan! You’re back?” She exclaimed with a smile.
“It’s been a hot minute but the Miami Grand Prix is next week and I had this week off.” The Blonde explained with a smile. His head then nodded towards the cooler of the alcoholic beverages, “Which one do you like?”
“Oh, no!” Y/n exclaimed, quickly shaking her head before reaching for a water bottle. “I don’t drink. Never have.”
“And you go to UMiami and you don’t drink? At all?”
She simply shrugged in reply, fiddling with the ends of her yellow sundress. “No. Don’t really party either. But it’s fine, I like to focus on studying-“
“Nonsense!” Logan interrupted her, “You’re still a goody two shoes. You were always scared to step out of line.” He chuckled.
Her eyebrows furrowed up as her cheeks started to heat up. “No!” She said in defense. “Maybe? I mean, I don’t want to break any of their rules. I’m grateful for all that they give me!”
“Hey,” The Williams driver began with a cheeky smile, “Wanna head out of here? Take a spin ‘round town. The weather's nice.”
His blue eyes remained on hers as she let out a small hum. She glanced back at her parents who were already drinking and busy talking to their friends. She looked at him with a smile before saying, “Fine. Let’s get out of here.”
⋆ ˚。⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。⋆⋆ ˚。⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。⋆⋆ ˚。⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚。⋆
“Oh, Springsteen!” Y/n exclaimed as the familiar voice of the singer began to play in Logan’s Porsche. The top was opened and there was a slight breeze as he drove through the neighborhood.
“Of course!” The Blonde replied, glancing over at her. “Dude he’s like the king. Don’t you think?” He said, tilting his head down so she could see his eyes from above his black sunglasses.
She chuckles as she adjusts the Prada glasses resting on her nose. “Oh, hell yes! That guy can sing. But personally, I’m a fan of Elvis.”
“Presley?” He asked in shock.
“Oh, yeah! He’s the best.”
“What’s your favorite record of his?”
“I’m a big fan of Burning Love at the moment.”
Thankfully, there was a red light right at the neighborhood exit. Logan reaches for his phone which is already connected to his car to play the song. Y/n couldn’t help but let out an excited laugh as the familiar intro began to play.
The light turned green and he began to drive on the main roads. The speed limit was higher which meant that as he sped down the roads, the strong winds compensated for the hot sun shining down on them.
Y/n felt very relaxed even though she and Logan secretly left the party. The breeze and Elvis’ voice relaxed her as she went into a deep conversation with him.
Thankfully, her glasses covered up her curious eyes as they glanced over him. He had gotten quite a bit of a tan but it made him glow in the Miami sun. He was much taller than when she had seen him last when they were 13. And if anything, he had gotten a lot more attractive.
Her thoughts were interrupted by his teasing voice. “What are you staring at?” He asked with a smile, noticing her glances at a red light.
She immediately froze in the spot and began to stutter. “I- Well. The trees are lovely and-“
“Relax! I’m just messing with you.” Logan said between laughs as he focused back on the road and the green light, “Besides, I think you’re pretty good-looking now too.”
Y/n playfully rolled her eyes as she leaned over to lightly slap his shoulder. She glances to her side, watching the buildings and people turn into a blur as the wind blows her hair behind.
Part of her wanted to stay obedient to her parents. After all, they were parents and provided everything for her. They paid for her college, her car, her clothes, and bags, the least she could do was listen to their rules.
But another part also wanted to be a carefree college student. She wanted to have fun and not regret her days in college. She wanted to be young, dope, and proud like an American.
She turned to look back at Logan before saying, “Let’s go clubbing. I want to have fun.”
The blonde looked at her shocked before his lips curled into a smile. “Oh yeah? What’s gotten into you?”
“Just done with being afraid to break my parents' rule. I want to be young, wild, and free.”
“Well, it’s Miami, so we gotta get you a new dress.”
Y/n furrowed up her eyebrows as she glanced down at her long yellow sundress, brown Hermes sandals, and white cardigan. “What’s wrong with my outfit?” She asked with a frown.
Logan raised his eyebrow. “Y/n, you’ve lived in Miami your whole life. The party scene is different here.” He explained, taking a right turn which fortunately for them, was a shopping center. “Honey, you need to put on that party dress. Like you said, you want to be young, wild, and free.”
“Fine,” Y/n said with a smile as he searched for parking. “But you’re coming with me! I have my dad’s credit card and a mall filled with designer stores. And I’m gonna make sure I find the right outfit.” She grasps her Chanel bag as Logan exits the car and quickly rushes to her side to open the door.
“Well, anything to be young, dope, and proud, right?” He said, holding his arm out. She immediately hooked her arm with his, ignoring the faint blush on both of their faces.
She glanced up at his ice-blue eyes as she let out a content sigh, “Like an American.”

*spots ask box and crawl my grimy lil ass in here*
Bro I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making those amazeball pieces of fanart of mah boy Schia <3<3<3
I also saw your oc!! Do you have lore for him? I'd love to hear it!!
Thank you so much again, pookie 💖
Oh helloooo!
No need for thanks, I just really liked your big boy, so I decided to draw him!!!
thanks for the question! I don't have much information about my oc, although I created him while I was still at university
I just wanted to create an ordinary American citizen, who works as a concierge (or doormen) at a hotel in my AU
takes place in 1950, the golden age of Hollywood
Brandon, an introvert, never dreamed of working with people, but necessity forced him to look for work. At 19(5′ 8″ small boyyyy), he got a job at a hotel chain owned by a successful businessman Angus. Although he was not inspired by the job, he understood that sometimes you have to compromise to survive
Before working in hotel, managed to work at several jobs as a teenager, despite his clumsiness, which constantly got him into awkward situations. It's amazing that he has never been hit by a car or fallen out of a window lmao
The guy, working as a concierge, became friends with the milkman Francis, who lived in the hotel. But it soon became clear that Francis suffered from a split personality. One moment he was a good-natured friend, and the next he turned into a dangerous person. And Angus, who pretended to be a businessman, was actually a mafioso, hiding his criminal activities behind a respectable appearance
There may have been kidnappings and murders in this place in the past, but the administration is masterfully hiding these facts. The concierge, being a very anxious person, has no idea about this, and it would be better for him not to know the truth in order to preserve his fragile peace
Despite all these dark secrets and hidden threats, life goes on. Fitzgerald has to put up with the people around him and endure an eternally dissatisfied boss
if we talk about the character's personality, he is rather stuffy, quiet and eternally dissatisfied, he rarely rejoices at all, except for the moments when his salary comes
........and he also loves Cola and Betty Boop and apparently the milkman omg XD
(why did I say about the doorman, because the hotel system is somewhat similar to the one from the game. Because of the maniac in the city, everyone protected themselves in different ways, just like our hotel, so that no one suspicious could pass until the concierge pressed the treasured button)

Could you write reader finding out food tlb liked from when they were human/their childhood and making it for them as a gift?
I know you wanted a fic but I have so so many thoughts about each of the boys that I'm gonna collect them all in this post!
The Lost Boys: Their Favorite Old-World Foods
Tumblr media
Marko:
The little Italian stallion <3333
I HC him as growing up in inner Florence, Italy, during the artistic revolution. He was fairly elite/in high demand as a model
Basically, a brat with an ego
Still despite rubbing shoulders with the greats, he loved to come home to his family’s little city house and eat his mamma’s cooking
I think Marko’s favorite ‘old world’ dish is Garmugia: a simple springtime soup with cured pancetta, lima beans, scallions, and all sorts of other green veggies
It’s not fancy or especially delicious at all. But I think the smell, the taste, would make him freeze up, flooded with memories
and maybe for a second he’d stop being a feral, combative, snapping undead animal, and you’d catch a glimpse of the athletic young human from centuries ago
Dwayne:
My personal HC for Dwayne is he got put in a residential school for native Americans at a young age, basically ripped away from his family
He probably escaped, hightailing it out at around 16, and then survived alone on the streets of early 1800s colonizer cities with the rest of the dredges of society
(Which to me gives him a very strong “I fucking hate capitalism I truly hate this country and deep down I do genuinely want to see this broken system burnt to the ground, also FUCK cops” mentality)
I think Dwayne’s most memorable old-world food would be Gingerbread. Not the gingerbread we know: a soft, cake-like bread flavored with molasses, ground ginger, and cinnamon. Very dark and not very sweet
He worked odd (and illegal) jobs to stay alive and when winter rolled around street vendors would sell big hot slices of the stuff
Bringing him some real, legit circa-1810-gingerbread would probably make him remember the far-distant, little moments of actual joy he had in his human life
AND you’d probably be able to convince him to actually talk about his past for once
Paul:
Country boyyyy, I love youuuu
In my mind Paul is rural midwest, late 1800s when the industrial revolution was really kickin’ off and the cities were poppin (with drugs and alcohol lmao)
He was probably raised on a farm & did farmwork most of the time. Picture him in a low ponytail and work duds, pitching hay. That was probably for the best because that dude 100% has dyslexia and a math learning disability
But oooooh he was prettyyyyy and he knew it: I think Paul eventually ran away from his family’s farm and basically became a partyboy in a big city, like New York, and was changed there
I think Paul’s favorite old-world food is (brace for the cliche) Apple Pie!
Probably a rare treat his momma and sisters would cook up in the autumn and winter: smelling a good, home-style pie now makes him think of barefoot evening sitting on the farmyard porch, listening to cicadas
Unrelated, but I think Paul- that’s right, partyboy druggie bonerboy Paulie- still remembers how to tie a hog
David:
I have conflicting thoughts abt this motherfucker
His backstory HC for me is still a little elusive, but I have some basic details for him
He comes from a pretty fucked-up biological family (probably a crazy-abusive dad and absent mother), was 100% drafted in a war at some point (I suspect the civil war), and 100% deserted his station in that war. Out of cowardice, fear, or distain, I don’t know.
I don’t think David really has a favorite food?? He’ll eat plain rice. Plain, oily noodles. Hard-tack biscuits. Literally anything like whatever it’s not his personal thing
David like drinking and smoking. I think David’s favorite old-world vice is Irish Whiskey. Again, not the drink we think of. A lot less refined, very rough and coarse: it was the most popular and easily-accessible spirit in the 1860s
I think it reminds him of ‘simpler times’: just him, alone, human, in a dingy old bar, getting the cheapest drink he can get, ducking his head to avoid being seen by military officials and wondering where he can run away to next
Give him a straight shot of Irish whiskey in an old-style enameled bar glass and it’s one of the only times he won’t be full-on Mansplain Manipulate Manwh0re: he’ll probably sit on a beachside bench with you, drinking in silence, watching the waves crashing far away. Lost in thought. Looking as old as he really is.

top 5 musicals?
oh OH I LOVE THIS ASK THANK YOU, CHAOS!!
Okay so, from lowest to highest, so far, my favorite musicals are:
5. Tick, Tick, Boom!
Especially as an artist, I absolutely LOVED this film. It's like a love letter to all artists. Of course non-artists can love and relate to this musical, but there's just something special it has for artists specifically. Plus the CINEMATOGRAPHY?? the PERFORMANCES?? ANDREW GARFIELD???? THE SONGS???? UGH. PHENOMENAL
Tumblr media
4. Hamilton: An American Musical
This is the only musical I've ever been blessed enough to actually see LIVE! And it was literally one of the greatest experiences of my life and made my desire to see musicals live EVEN MORE PAINFUL. BECAUSE THIS WAS WHAT I WAS MISSING OUT ON!! But yeah even if it's not at the top of this list I clearly still love this musical so much. This was one of my most powerful and longest-lasting hyper-fixations ever, and also the musical that actually really got me into writing fanfiction! So on top of the amazing music (my go to hip-hop and rap songs fr LOLLL most of my rapping ability comes from singing and rapping Hamilton with my siblings and cousins), performances, themes of LEGACY and FORGIVENESS??? AUGGHHH, i am also really grateful to it for awakening the writer in me.
Tumblr media
3. Les Miserables
I remember when I first started listening to this I was like. How is there not a single MEH song in this musical??? It was literally banger after banger after banger LIKE BRUH. I also remember when I finally finished listening to the musical, it was when my family and I lined up all night for some basketball tickets. And I finished listening to the musical when I woke up really early in the morning for my turn in waiting in line, and I was screaming at myself not to cry because I was literally surrounded by people. But anyway yeah I love this musical so much and while it's not as deeply personal as Hamilton (at least not yet), I think it definitely belongs in this spot. Listen specifically the THEMES AND MOTIFS ARE WHAT MAKE ME SO FERAL OVER THIS. BUT ESPECIALLY THE THEME OF FAITH??? BYE I CANT HANDLE IT ASJDFHJLDAD
Tumblr media
2. Newsies
While I think Les Mis is probably a better musical in general, THIS one is very personal. This is the first broadway musical i ever listened to, the one that got me into theatre musicals for the first time. IT ALL BEGAN HERE. This was also the first pro-shot I ever watched!!! And absolutely LOVE the songs DEARLY to this very day and still jam out to them every time I hear them, plus I LOVE the story and find it to be very relevant to people my age in particular. It's just so FUN and with AN INCREDIBLE story and soundtrack and the PERFORMANCES and DANCING AUGHHH and i love it so much i cant put it into words so here have Jack flipping someone instead
Tumblr media
1. The Phantom of the Opera
I doubt ANYONE is surprised by this being at the top LOL. But for real, this musical just HIT THE SPOT. I don't know how or why BUT I JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS MUSICAL SO FAST AND HARD and I can't explain it. But just--the MUSIC the STAGING the STORY the CHARACTERS?? HELLO?? ERIK IS LITERALLY ONE OF THE MOST WELL-WRITTEN CHARACTERS I'VE EVER SEEN IN A LONG WHILE. AND CHRISTINE MY BELOVED. and OBVIOUSLY . RAOUL . HAS MY ENTIRE ENTIRE HEART THIS IDIOT BOYYYY. and and RAOULSTINE??? UGHHH. And i love all the supporting characters too like they're so FUN lol. and anyway of course the SONGS ARE JUST INCREDIBLE, WHAT ON EARTH. And of course, most importantly THE THEMES AND MOTIFS. LOVE AND LUST AND OBSESSION AND UNCONDITIONAL VS CONDITIONAL LOVE AND RECKLESS BRAVERY AND AND AND GRACE????? AND KINDNESS??? HOO MY HEART BE STILL

wait how have you been hated on for liking Native American history??? That's so weird 😭😭
oh boyyyy do I have stories for this.
I've never received any online hate, for which I am extremely grateful, but people have been exceedingly weird about it in real life, ranging from bizarre to just plain racist. I can't remember all of it, so I'll just take you through the highlights.
My grandmother never quite knows how to introduce me to her friends (because she has a lot of friends and is quite the social butterfly) so she often introduces me as 'her grandchild, who knows a lot about Native American history'. Which isn't really true. I know a little (well, maybe more than a little) about a very specific area of Native American history. So most of the following things have come from my grandmother's friends.
Native Americans aren't actually American *smug face* they actually come from Nepal. *smug face again*. She seemed so pleased with herself to know something I didn't. And honestly I didn't know how to react. I think that one was more funny than anything. Why are you trying to out-knowledge someone sixty years younger than you. why.
*Accusingly* I suppose you hate Columbus, then. Yes. Yes I do
You're only interested just because you like the aesthetic the what now?
It's just because you're woke why do conservative people have to use the word woke so many times. hey, sorry folks, researching cultures different to your own is WOKE. Proper right-wing fellows are INSULAR. they don't CARE about the rest of the world.
You're disrespecting and abandoning your white heritage ok. Tbh if you consider yourself peak white heritage, I'm glad to be out of it. Seriously tho, how do you think race and nationality works? I can be white and interested in Native American history. The two don't cancel each other out.
Similar to that one, is my personal favourite:
You're committing cultural appropriation by being interested in Native American history. What. This was also said to me by some rando in a bookshop when I was buying a book on, well, guess what topic. I thought they were one of the staff at first, but looking back at it I think they were really Just Some Rando. Why would you say that to someone who is just trying to buy a book. You don't even know me. I don't want your opinion.
That one really worried me for a while, I'm gonna be honest. I had to send a particularly grovelling anon to some Native American I found on Tumblr. And they said it wasn't cultural appropriation. AND they gave me book recommendations. So yeah.
(PS I can't remember who you are, but if you see this, then you metaphorically saved my life and literally saved my dignity)
That's all the specific incidents I can remember, but there have been a lot of other things. Jokes, mostly. Quoting westerns. Speaking like the Native Americans from Peter Pan or some shit whenever I enter the room. I once had someone make those western style war cries at me for five hours.
Making fun of their names is a big one. (Guys, there are only so many times you can make fun of anyone's name, and that amount is zero. even if they're called some shit like techno mechanicus -looking at you, Elon Musk. I literally don't see what's so funny about the name Black Kettle anyway. Either I've been reading about him too much, but it's not a weird name?? Also. He got fucking murdered. I'm researching how he got murdered and you're taking the piss out of him. Get some respect and dignity).
Also. If I have to hear one more joke along the lines of 'did you ever have any reservations about studying this topic' I am going to wring your neck.
So uh I'm sorry I turned your question into a bit of a rant but if I've learned one thing it's this: researching non-white history really shows you people's hidden racism. The amount of shit people have said to me about the Native Americans. My guys your opinions belong in a Victorian dime novel about the frontier. And that's not a compliment.

Update on that story with the lit professor who’s writing a book on Scorsese for those of y’all who are interested:
So I’m in graduate school for creative writing. I’m working on an urban fantasy/noir mob novel that’s VERY VERY gay so naturally Mean Streets is on the reading/watching list I made for myself – my own syllabus, if you will. I first watched Mean Streets during an American cinema class in undergrad and fell in love with everything about it. It’s guys being dudes being goofy and yet the filmmaking is so raw and honest and kinda documentarian – just a week in the life of a couple of lost neighborhood souls, etc.
ANYWAY as a graduate student one of my requirements is to take some “elective” classes, i.e. non-creative writing stuff, so I thought that since I had a good experience crossing over into the lit dept. this past fall (’22) I’d do it again! When I reached out to some MA Lit friends to see which professor would be a good fit for me, they all recommended the same guy. He teaches modernism and also is an accomplished film scholar, especially when it comes to noir and gangster cinema.
So I reached out to him being like hey I think I want to take your class but I want to know a little more about it first, and because he’s old he decided to SCHEDULE A PHONE CALL instead of meeting online or in office hours loool. I do not like phone calls but I agreed, so this past Friday he called me and we had an absolutely WILD chat. We started off talking a little about the class and at this point I’ll admit modernism isn’t my thing with one exception. I mentioned in my email to this professor that noir/crime stuff is totally my vibe and so we were talking about that a little, and that’s when I brought up Mean Streets. It was actually in relation to Hemingway because that’s one of Charlie’s favorite authors, according to the script – which whew boyyyy we don’t have time to unpack ALL of that right now.
Where I’m GOING with this is that the professor was very willing to talk gangster movies with me. He knew so damn much about Mean Streets and I could hold my own in a conversation with him. He was talking about the frenetic filmmaking and then was like “I grew up in an Italian neighborhood much like that in Chicago, the culture impacts everything.” We were talking about honor codes and he was like “Charlie’s a prisoner of his religion” and I was like yeah for sure, he’s holding his hand over open stoves. Then he was like “you wouldn’t know this but I’m writing a book about lesser discussed Scorsese films” and in my head I was like !!! I still don’t care for modernism but I gotta take this class. He seemed impressed, or at least happy, that Mean Streets was still being discussed because it’s not as if it’s, say, Goodfellas or The Departed.
So yeah that’s what I’m doing next fall :))))

Ma$e has seemingly alluded to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ alleged association with Keefe D, the man recently charged as a suspect in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. During the latest episode of It Is What It Is, Ma$e reacted to Keefe D’s arrest during a segment reporting the news of the reputed gang member’s looming charges. The Harlem native, who was signed to Bad Boy Records during the ’90s and likely aware of Keefe D’s long-rumored connection to Diddy and the label, feigned ignorance of the suspect’s identity. “Wait, where do I know that name from? That name sounds familiar,” the 48-year-old mockingly asked cohost Cam’ron and guest Bubba Dub.Continuing to coyly inquire about Keefe D and the cause of his name being vaguely familiar to him, Ma$e doesn’t reference any names directly, insisting he’s honestly clueless as to the root of his recollection. “No, for real. I don’t know what you talking about,” Ma$e responded when pressed by Bubba Dub, who gave a blatant hint at whom the artist was alluding to, saying “Baaaad Boyyyy” in a cadence similar to the mogul while imitating his signature dance.Rappers Mase (L) and Sean “P. Diddy” Combs pose for a photo at the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards at the American Airlines Arena August 29, 2004 in Miami, Florida. The guest then shared with viewers that Keefe D had been accused of plotting Shakur’s murder, news which Ma$e acted surprised by. “Ohhh… that’s crazy,” the “Feel So Good” creator replied, before adding “I pray 2Pac gets justice whoever is involved.” The quip prompted chuckles from the room, as Ma$e clarified that he was not being facetious in regards to his well wishes. “I don’t even mean that in no joking way,” he added.Rumors and theories have swirled around Diddy’s speculatory role in the deaths of both Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. with numerous figures accusing the rapper of having dealings with underworld figures that may have resulted in the latter’s death. The executive was once alleged by Keefe D to have discussed paying the South Side Crips $1 million to murder Shakur and Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight.Sean “Diddy” Combs attends the 2018 Fox Network Upfront at Wollman Rink, Central Park on May 14, 2018 in New York City. However, Keefe D says that he, nor the gang, ever received the down-payment for the alleged hit. It’s also been alleged that The Notorious B.I.G.’s death was a result of Diddy’s failure to pay off a debt owned to the Crips, but none of those claims have yet to be confounded with hard evidence. It’s also been said that Diddy employed gang members to serve as security for himself and Bad Boy artists while on the West Coast during the discord between Death Row Records and Bad Boy amid Shakur’s beef with Biggie. When asked about those rumors in 2016, the 53-year-old shot the allegations down, refusing to even address them. “We don’t talk about things that are nonsense,” he said on the Breakfast Club at the time. “We don’t even entertain nonsense, so we not even gonna go there, with all due respect.”Watch Ma$e speak about Keefe D on It Is What It Is below.[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7ajYS4_ppo[/embed]More from VIBE.comClick here to read the full article.

yanno what’s interesting is how a lot of Americans I’ve come across are vehemently against trying mayo to dip their fries into. It’s more of a European thing, and I grew up in NA so I was use to ketchup growing up but when I moved to Europe and tried mayo, boyyyy that was a game changerrrrr 🍟
It's soooo good. I grew up in the US and never heard of it until I took a school trip and everyone was getting mayo with their fries. It changed me.

Day 4. 1st March. I went on a tour of blue mountains. Was looking forward to the socialization but boyyyy was I awkward. I’ve never felt more Asian in my lifeeeee. All these white peoples can just join convos so easily. I felt a bit excluded and lonely, but at least I wasn’t alone. Wouldn’t say I enjoyed it so much. The view was great! But I just didn’t feel that magic I felt when k saw Yosemite for example. But I guess these feelings can’t be orchestrated. Anyways, I cannot do climbing!!! I have this really intense fear of falling or slipping so I move soooo slowly!! I was wondering why am I always last when there were bigger Americans and old people on the tour! But then I realize it’s my fear that’s crippling me! I swear I was focusing a little too hard on not falling. I was really so scared of slipping. It was insanely steep! I ended up not going down to the waterfall with the rest of the group cos I knew I would be so slow!!! So I stayed up on the lookout. I felt a bit exhausted at the end of the day because it was hard socializing. :/ mannnnn I kinda beat myself up a little at the end of the day cos I was upset I wasn’t more charming and I was questioning whether or not I was interesting and fun. Had a bit of a self doubt moment. But it was nice going back to my room knowing I knowing I only had 1 full day to go. I ended up eating Thai again for dinner and called Leonard for a long time :) which was nice! Talked to my parents for a long time too!

I’ll never forget how I nailed an english exam about american history in seventh grade without studying because I had the whole Hamilton musical memorized

i do love how you can instantly tell whether a tv show is american or not based on how ridiculously bright the lighting is, how many physical flaws the actors are allowed to visibly have (if any), and how ridiculously bright the lighting is

so I’m back on my Gilmore Girls rewatch and this is just to say that I really like Jess. As usual. Does he deserve it? Probably not. But like he’s just this little angry jerk and everyone talks about him like he’s a felon or something. Calm down! He’s still a teenager!
