Uh. Hey there.

I never envisioned making a Rotomblr blog... but here we are.

My name's Troy... they/them. I'm originally from Goldenrod City in Johto. Moved here after the Rocket Takeover... I'd rather not deal with a third wave of their antics.

I've got a grudge against Amity Square, so I'm training as both a coordinator and a battler to oppose their policies. I believe it can a space that all Pokémon and people can enjoy, not just those considered "cute."

My current team consists of Silk and Blackjack. They're plenty capable, but we won't be able to do this alone...

That's why I'm here!

Hiya! My name's Bebe, and I use she/her. I'm a computer technician who helps out with Sinnoh's Pokémon Storage System. After Troy decided to become a full-fledged Trainer, I decided to help them manage the blog!

Glimmer and Surge are my two 'mons! Have a soft spot for catmons... Oh yeah! Sometimes my girl Hayley helps us out! She doesn't have an account yet... but I think she will soon. Just a hunch!

Hey there! I'm @phosphoenix, I use they/them, and this is my first Pokémon IRL blog! Pokémon IRL interested me for a while, but I've always been intimidated by its size and scope. The new Amity Park blog seemed like a good opportunity to create a character engaging in relatively low-stakes conflict. I'm still working out characterization and learning things as I go, but I hope I can have fun regardless!

I tried to introduce myself before, but... um. You guys were probably flooded with asks, so I understand if my message fell through the cracks. My name's Troy, I'm a novice contest coordinator, and me and my pals in Hearthome have had more than enough of that stupid park.

With all that said, is it okay if I shared some ideas with you? #TIBFAP is great, but think there's a few things that could make it even more effective.

Seeing as we're sharing stories about pokemon that aren't allowed into Amity Park, I figured now would be a good time to talk about how I got Sandy.

She was my very first rescue. When I was around eight, maybe nine, I found a trapinch on the shore that had been attacked by a toxapex. With my mother, I nursed her back to health.

She's been my main partner ever since, and even though effects of her injury are still there, she's doing much better than she was twelve years ago.

When I went to Sinnoh, I was excited to be able to bring Sandy over to the park. In my head, Sandy was very cute! Simply put, I was very disappointed when informed that she was "unsightly."

I've, um. Heard a lot of bad stuff about Amity Park. Is it really true that they only let in the region's starters recently?

...Huh, didn't think I'd find someone else from my hometown this fast. Glad to see someone is repping the place - Goldenrod still holds a special place in my heart. Would love to visit with Silk sometime, if it weren't for... uh, the constant barrage of disasters. Hopefully things settle down...?

Back on topic, I haven't lived in Hearthome long enough to know the full extent of The Amity Park Drama™, but I can confirm that the region's starters were recent additions. It's a similar predicament to Buizel and Shinx, actually! Lots of trainers upset that their beloved starter Pokémon couldn't enter. Some even found they didn't have any Pokémon that could enter. You put your heart and soul into a team, just to be told they're all ugly? Someone's going to throw hands.

The staff (surprisingly) relented after months of protest. Many trainers here have at least one of the starters, so I guess they figured it was a good compromise. Don't give them too much credit - they had to update the list again after realizing trainers would not force their starters to stay in their "cute" base forms.

So that's why a level 100 Torterra can be (begrudgingly) allowed into the park while my friend's Cherrim is a danger to polite society. ...Please don't ask me why Torchic is there by itself.

//OOC: Thanks for the warm welcome! I was nervous that I'd be making you uncomfortable by creating this blog, especially after Amity Park got some pretty graphic asks. Glad to hear this isn't the case, and I hope that I can have some fun with this community!

It would appear the park also breaks the law, they said that they deny entry to service pokemon that are not on the list.

I checked that, dear anon. It seems like they got a lawsuit about that a half a year ago, but there's a clause about pokemon deemed dangerous to the establishment that was invoked. Can't find much more about it, though...

On a positive note, The S' are no longer Doomed by the Narrative. Unless you believe the theory that Maguro becomes Ecolo in the Future, and that Thousand (Big Bad of Puyo Quest) is a future Seo, and that will never get a Chronicle S, than in that case never mind they were doomed from the start.

Also R might be a bit of a stretch, but I think I got A spot on.
