I have had a crazy busy work week so I haven’t had the chance to do much at all besides lie down (in pain, lol, chronic illness life) so I don’t have anything to post this week. Hopefully next week I can do a belated Slain week contribution and a chapter of WHIV, but we’ll see—my body is saying don’t hold your breath 😮‍💨 (I’m ok, but like, the reality is that reality is a lot) 🖤

Anyway, I did get some reading done last week, so here’s a draft I didn’t post in the middle of that:

if I had a dollar for every book i’d read from red tower where the mmc doesn’t trust the fmc because of who her parent is and she has to ask questions all book to find basically nothing out until straits are dire, and she has super special hair that he’s obsessed with, and who gets injured and then convinces him to fuck her so she’ll feel better, well…i’d only have two dollars…but it’s weird that it happened twice

I actually spent a lot of time on those posts (as opposed to my usual shitposting)- and it was something that lived in my head for days and weeks before i was able to put it together properly (i’m still gonna write my gallavich goes thrifting fanfic one day)

Did it come easily or was it hard to create?

My thrifting post came really easily to me, bc i’ve been writing it in my head for forever

My set design post took a little bit longer to create, bc i wanted to make sure i actually included the pieces that mattered the most to the characters, and therefore also me

I’ve been reading fanfic since i was 11 in various fandoms so i’m sure it’s been a lot of heartbreaks, but one that comes to mind is loosing my own fic i was writing so that spiderman fic is now lost to the world

and boy do I feel old :D (I miss it tho) and then we started playing shadow’s game over and over!!! He’s just!!! So freaking cool- we’d even roleplay and ‘voice’ shadow and charmy XD

I remember little me thought charmy was annoying AS FRICK 😭 but I love him

anyway then when I started school and I was always an introvert- and whenever I had a bad day (especially my first few days at elementary) and I’d just imagine Sonic Amy Tails and Knuckles (I’d say shadow too but little AP thought he wouldn’t even be friends with little ap XDD)

it’s kinda cool to me how so many years ago I’d play sonic games on my Gameboy or the X-box with my relatives

then some years pass by I started watching Sonic X,play the sonic run game thingy on mobile- there’s also this sonic racing cars game I forgot it’s name bare with me :,] idk if it’s on iPad or Xbox/playstation but like I remember playing it too!!

then oop sonic boom came out- watched it a bit (not so enthusiastically I didn’t like it at first- not the character design or attitude or anything- I especially HATED how dumb they made my boy knuckles 😭 listen I was still pretty young HSHSHS)

but then I discovered some really funny sonic YT channels- my favorite one and I still watch now is SonicSong182 - they’re so silly and I love everything bout this channel XD I recommend (at some point they were also part of my childhood pf) and I just discovered it again last year!!! My inner child was STIMMIIIIING more so knowing that one of my close friends know this channel too :D!

and then the first and second sonic movies came out AND BOYYY THEYRE SO GOOOOOOOOD AUGHHH I need to rewatch them just to refresh memory AND to be more hyper for Sonic 3 :]

and now college me is gonna watch sonic 3 — like ngl im so happy to live through this and im so so happy Sonic never really died and I never really lost interest in it at all,no matter what,im just thankful Sonic made my childhood,made my teenage hood,making my adulthood,and still making my inner child so happy Yanno?

It’s the little things in life,and the more I’m growing and the more I’m maturing the more I learn to appreciate not just the big blessings but also the tiniest things too- and honestly? It helped me?? Somehow? No idea how to explain this but it helped me

🌓- What type of system are you? - we use quoigenic for our own privacy, but we have trauma that has influenced why and how we formed.

🌕- What is your system dynamic (ex, family, friends, complete strangers, etc) - almost like colleagues? we are quite fond of each other, but since we can't interact often it feels more like coworkers that all work at the same job but on different shifts

🌻- What's a normal day for you as a system? - we have two jobs so it's very rare we ever have a day off. we almost always wake up with corci fronting, and then depending on what our day holds we usually switch a few times throughout the day. at one job circus usually fronts, and the other it's usually angel. we work overnights so we are basically nocturnal.

🌸- How do you keep track of your system? (Members, switches, etc) - we use simplyplural, though we usually don't document switches

🥀- Any childhood things that should've tipped you off to being a system? - well i don't remember my childhood so there's one lmao

💐- Do you like being a system? - i do yes, i know that's not a systemwide sentiment though

🐚- Do you know any systems IRL? - two, one is our irl bff (my bff at least), and the other is an old friend of ours we aren't close with anymore unfortunately, though they don't know we're a system

🎍- How bad is your amnesia? - not too bad? we have emotional amnesia (so we can access memories but they don't feel like our memories) and we can't remember a lot of things from out past, but day to day we share most memories.

I was tagged by @spicyvampire (thank you so much!!). I won’t be able to share a post for every month, since I was pretty busy with irl things in the last few months! Soo let’s go:

January  ⛄️: my most popular post in January was my Amy Pond gifset (x) and although I posted two other gifsets in January, but I feel like this is the one I personally liked the most.

February  ❄️: another doctor who one!  I’m not choosing my most popular one because it’s just another Doctor Who gifset. So I share this Thoroughbreds gifset  (x) instead . 

March  🌱: nothing to show for this month!

April  🌼 : I’m sorry but the only original post I made in April was another Doctor Who gifset (x). I really love this quote by the way.

May  🦋 : My The Little Mermaid gifset (x) was my most popular post in May! I also had a lot of fun making this one (x) , because I experimented a bit with fonts and effects.

June  ☀️ : Apropos experimenting with fonts... I tried out a new tutorial on my most popular post in June. It’s a Peaky Blinders set (x) and it took me like ages because PS crashed once or twice.

July  🍨 : I remember hearing the lyrics of Frank Carters’ “My Town” and immediately came up with the idea for this Robb Stark set (x). And I want to share this 1917 poster (x)  too because I spent too much a lot of time on it. 

August  🌻 : I think this Pride and Prejudice set (x) is one of my most popular posts of all time and I honestly didn’t expect it. Aaand I want to share another Peaky Blinders post (x) here because I love the song and had much fun working on it!

September  🌾:  These Grand Budapest Hotel screencaps (x) might not be my most popular post but still worth mentioning them. Anyway my most popular post was this Peaky Blinders set (x) , it was a lot of work tho.

October  🍂 : I didn’t really have time to work on something so here’s another Doctor Who set (x) (this is getting a bit repetitive isn’t it?)

November  ☔️ : move along folks, nothing to see here!

December  🎄 : I ended last year the same way I’ve started it: with a Doctor Who gifset (x) . It was quite fun to do this! But my Emma gifset (x) was nice too, so I’m going to share it too!

Well this was fun! I didn’t have much to share, since I was really busy during the last few months but I hope that’s ok.
