Lala Lajpat Rai
Lala Lajpat Rai was a prominent Indian freedom fighter and a key figure in the Indian independence movement. Here are a few key factors approximately him:
Early Life:
Birth: Lala Lajpat Rai was born on January 28, 1865, in Dhudike, Punjab, British India.
Munshi Radha Krishan Agrawal, a Persian and Urdu teacher, and Gulab Devi, a pious lady, were the parents of Lala Lajpat Rai. After obtaining his law degree, he commenced his legal practice in Hisar, Haryana.
In Hinduism, Rai believed in the potential of Hindu principles to foster nationalism and envisaged a genuinely secular nation founded on these ideals. Concurrently, he engaged with the Hindu Mahasabha.
Education:
He studied law at Government College in Lahore, where he came in contact with fellow freedom fighters like Lala Hans Raj and Pandit Guru Dutt.
Role in the Independence Movement:
Lajpat Rai played a crucial role in the Indian independence movement and was a part of the Lal Bal Pal trio, along with Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Bipin Chandra Pal.
He was associated with various socio-political movements and organizations, including the Arya Samaj.
Leadership in Punjab:
Lala Lajpat Rai was an ardent advocate for militant anti-British nationalism within the Indian National Congress, simultaneously being a prominent leader in the Hindu supremacy movement.
Lala Lajpat Rai, famously known as the Lion of Punjab, was a stalwart in the Indian independence movement. He earned the moniker Punjab Kesari, symbolizing his fearless spirit
Lajpat Rai also served as the President of the All India Trade Union Congress.
In 1886, Rai founded the Hisar branch of the Indian National Congress and later shifted to Lahore in 1892 to practice law at the Lahore High Court. He actively contributed to various magazines and newspapers and initiated political agitation against the government.
Deported to Mandalay in 1907 without trial, he was released due to insufficient evidence. In 1914, he abandoned law practice to devote himself to India’s liberation from foreign rule.
Living in the USA from 1917 to 1920, Rai founded the Indian Home Rule League of America to garner moral support for India’s independence struggle.
He petitioned the US Senate, depicting the dire state of Indian administration under British rule. Upon returning to India, he joined various INC movements.
Protests Against Simon Commission and Death
Lala Lajpat Rai led a protest against the Simon Commission in 1928. During the protest, he sustained injuries inflicted by the police baton charge. He later succumbed to these injuries
His death led to widespread outrage and contributed to the anti-British sentiments during the independence movement.
During the Simon Commission’s visit to Lahore on October 30, 1928, Rai led a silent march protesting its exclusion of Indian members. The Superintendent of Police, James Scott, subjected him to a brutal lathi charge. Despite the assault, Rai declared to the crowd, “I declare that the blows struck at me today will be the last nails in the coffin of British rule in India.” Martyr’s Day is celebrated on November 17 in his honor in India.
Legacy:
Lajpat Nagar, a prominent locality in Delhi, is named after him.
His contribution to India’s freedom struggle is remembered and honored nationwide.
Lala Lajpat Rai’s commitment to the cause of Indian independence and his sacrifices for the nation have secured him a revered place in India’s history.

Hello l recently made a lesser lord kusanali rp blog, but I was wondering if it would be okay if I added some head canons to the rp blog:
Here are my head canons:
• Lesser lord kusanali sees the archons as her family.
• Lesser lord kusanali uses she/they pronouns.
• I hc lesser lord kusanali and wanderer/scaramouche as slibings/best friends, like a big brother and little sister.
• And lesser lord kusanali is 500 years old but she is still in the body of a child, l hc her as being 8-10 years old.
• And lesser lord kusanali can be childish sometimes but she is very mature for her age unlike most children.
• Lesser lord kusanali 's favourite meal is butter chicken and biryani.
• Lesser lord kusanali 's favourite dessert is Samosa, Gulab jamun, Kheer and Ladoo/laddu.
• l hc lesser lord kusanali 's Mbti as infp, l feel like she is a infp and it does fit her personality.
• And l also hc lesser lord kusanali as an introvert, even though she talks a lot she is still wary of strangers.
• And l hc lesser lord kusanali to be allergic to most sea foods such as shrimp and octopus... Well she doesn't like most sea foods do l think that's okay.
• And sometimes lesser lord kusanali might call some people mister, miss, mrs if they are older than her... She might even call them nara a term which the aranaras uses.
• l hc lesser lord kusanali as being non-binary.
• l hc lesser lord kusanali as aroace/asexual.
• l also hc lesser lord kusanali 's height as being 128/130 cm but your interpretation of her may be different.
I don't hc lesser lord kusanali and wanderer as auntie and nephew... I hc them as siblings.
• l also hc lesser lord kusanali as being half indian and persian and arabic, Mixed people exist in real life so I think this is possible.
• My other hc is : Lesser lord kusanali will sometimes ask someone to help her with her Mehandi.
• Lesser lord kusanali can heal and purify many things.
That's all the head canons l can think of for now, l hope my head canons don't offend anyone.

Radha Devi, 30 (India 2003)
Radha Devi was 30 years old when she came to the Shiv Om facility in Gulab Bagh on January 5, 2003. Shiv Chopra was the abortionist who killed Radha and her baby. After the abortion, Radha had to be taken to Deen Dayal Upadhaya Hospital. She was declared dead on arrival.
Copra later claimed that Radha was dead before he even started the abortion, which did not make sense. If she was already dead, why hadn’t he immediately called emergency services? And why would he have bothered doing an abortion on a dead woman?
The police registered a case of negligence against the abortionist. The case against Copra was registered under Section 304-A for causing death through negligence and rash actions. If it wasn’t for the abortion, Radha and her baby could both be alive and well today.

Anurag Thakur: A Multifaceted Leader in Indian Politics and Cricket
Anurag Singh Thakur, a dynamic personality, has established himself as a significant figure in Indian politics and cricket. Representing Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, in the 17th Lok Sabha, Thakur's career is marked by a diverse array of roles ranging from an industrialist, farmer, cricket player, to a prominent political leader. His journey is a testament to his versatility and commitment to serving his country in multiple capacities.
Tumblr media
Early Life and Education
Anurag Thakur was born on October 24, 1974, in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. He is the son of Prem Kumar Dhumal, a notable political figure, and Sheela Devi. Thakur's early education took place in Jalandhar, Punjab, where he attended Doaba College. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, laying the academic foundation for his future endeavors in various fields.
Cricketing Career
Initial Foray into Cricket
Anurag Thakur's passion for cricket saw him participate in the Ranji Trophy in November 2000, representing Himachal Pradesh against Jammu and Kashmir. His involvement in cricket extended beyond playing; he also served as the president of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) during the 2000-01 season. His leadership and participation in cricket were pivotal in meeting the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) prerequisites for state selectors, requiring participation in at least one first-class match.
Administrative Roles and Challenges
Thakur's administrative journey in cricket reached its zenith when he became the BCCI president in May 2016. His tenure, however, was cut short in January 2017 by a Supreme Court order due to issues related to compliance with court directives and providing false testimony. Despite the setback, Thakur's contributions to cricket administration were significant, particularly in navigating the legal challenges surrounding the ownership of the International Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala.
Political Career
Entry into Politics
Anurag Thakur's political career commenced in 2008 when he won a byelection to the 14th Lok Sabha, defeating Congress Party candidate O.P. Rattan with a substantial margin of 174,666 votes. This victory marked the beginning of a long and successful political journey.
Parliamentary Contributions
Thakur was re-elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009, defeating Narinder Thakur of the Congress Party by 72,732 votes. During his tenure, he served on the Standing Committee on Transportation, Culture, and Tourism and was a member of the Prime Minister's consultation committee.
In the 2014 elections, Thakur secured his third term in the 16th Lok Sabha by defeating Rajinder Singh Rana of the Congress Party with a margin of 98,403 votes. His active participation in the General Purposes Committee and the Joint Committee on the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition underscored his legislative acumen.
Continued Success
The 2019 elections saw Thakur re-elected to the 17th Lok Sabha, defeating INC rival Ram Lal Thakur with an overwhelming majority of over 300,000 votes. His appointment as a Minister of State in the Finance and Corporate Affairs division further solidified his role in shaping India's economic policies.
Military Service
Anurag Thakur made history by becoming the first Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member to be promoted to the rank of a regular commissioned officer in the Territorial Army in July 2016. This achievement highlighted his dedication to national service and added another dimension to his multifaceted career.
Personal Life
Anurag Thakur married Shefali Thakur on November 27, 2002. Shefali is the daughter of Gulab Singh Thakur, a former minister in the Himachal Pradesh government. Thakur's family background and personal life have been supportive pillars in his illustrious career.
Awards and Recognitions
Thakur's contributions have been recognized with several awards. In 2011, he was honored with the Best Young Parliamentarian Award, acknowledging his dynamic role as one of India's youngest parliamentarians. In 2019, he received the Sansad Ratna Award for his exceptional work during the 16th Lok Sabha term.
Controversies and Statements
Anurag Thakur's political career has not been without controversies. In January 2020, he faced criticism for echoing a provocative statement at a BJP gathering. Additionally, his interaction with the media has sometimes been contentious, notably on March 1, 2020, when he accused the media of misinformation regarding certain issues.
Conclusion
Anurag Thakur's journey from a cricketer to a prominent political leader and military officer showcases a remarkable blend of talent, dedication, and resilience. His diverse career, marked by significant achievements and challenges, reflects his commitment to serving India in various capacities. As he continues to shape the future of Indian politics and cricket, Thakur's multifaceted legacy will inspire many for years to come.

Lajpat Rai, born on January 28, 1865, in a Punjabi Hindu family in Dhudike, was the son of Munshi Radha Krishan, a government school teacher of Urdu and Persian, and Gulab Devi. From his early years, he harbored a deep desire to contribute to his country.
In 1886, Rai relocated to Hisar, where he embarked on a career in law and played a pivotal role in establishing the Bar Council of Hisar alongside Babu Churamani. Additionally, he took the initiative to form the Hisar district branch of the Indian National Congress and the reformist Arya Samaj. Engaging in journalism, he became a regular contributor to various newspapers, including The Tribune. In 1886, he assisted Mahatma Hansraj in establishing the nationalistic Dayananda Anglo-Vedic School in Lahore. Rai made a significant decision in 1914 by relinquishing his law practice to devote himself entirely to India's quest for independence.
Elevated to the presidency of the Indian National Congress during the Calcutta Special Session of 1920, Rai went on to establish the Servants of the People Society in 1921, a non-profit organization dedicated to social welfare. He advocated for addressing societal issues within Hinduism, such as the caste system, the status of women, and untouchability. Lala Lajpat Rai fervently believed in providing everyone, regardless of caste or gender, the opportunity to read and learn from the Vedas.
A crucial moment in Rai's life occurred when the Simon Commission visited Lahore on October 30, 1928. Leading a non-violent protest march against the commission, he faced police brutality, with Superintendent James A. Scott ordering a lathi (baton) charge against the demonstrators and personally assaulting Rai. Suffering severe injuries, Rai never fully recovered and passed away on November 17, 1928.

Some of the historic Buddhist monasteries like the Tsomo Gompa, Shanti Stupa, Hemis Gompa, and Thiksey Monastery are located on this snow land. These monasteries are not only some of the best places in Ladakh to seek solace but also treasure houses of ancient scriptures and relics associated with Buddhism. An Exhilarating Trip To The Hemis National Park Hemis National Park, one of the largest national parks of the Indian subcontinent is a must-visit to check out some of the endangered wildlife species, like the Eurasian Brown Bear, Asiatic Ibex and the snow leopard. It is also a natural habitat for the Tibetan wolf, Himalayan mouse hare and the Himalayan marmot. Avian life exists in this forest of Alpine and Pine in the form of a golden eagle, Himalayan vulture, fire-fronted serin and Himalayan snow cock. A Divine Tour To Vaishno Devi And Amarnath Kashmir is the abode of God, as the cave temples of Vaishno Devi and Amarnath are located here. Lying in the lap of the Trikuta Mountains, the Vaishno Devi temple is visited by numerous tourists to fulfil their wishes and offer their prayers to the incarnation of Goddess Mahalaxmi. Prayers come out from the deep core of the hearts in the tranquil atmosphere of Kashmir. The 5000 years old Amarnath cave is your next destination. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this cave temple is a miracle of nature; here the massive ice Shiva lingam is formed automatically and also melts by itself as per the phases of the moon. There are other two ice lingams here, worshipped as Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha. Fairs are held every year at Pahalgaon during the full moon of July/ August when the Amarnath Yatra resumes. The celestial atmosphere of the place lets you forget the entire struggle that you took to reach the cave shrines. The Exquisite Beauty Of Srinagar The winter capital of Kashmir beckons you with its fine gardens and architectural amazements. While the Shalimar Bagh and Chasme Shahi narrate the glorious Mughal rule with numerous fountains, canals, bright flowers and polished stone steps, the palatial palace of Gulab Bhavan is a transformed luxury hotel. Hence, be in Kashmir to feel the heaven on earth. via Blogger https://ift.tt/zLswfv1 April 17, 2023 at 06:18PM
