Ok.. either I am just genuinely so radiant that sometimes strangers just LOVE me… or there is some untapped potential of a racially ambiguous mixed girlie… because there as an absurd and disproportionate trend in my life of going to restaurants run by people of color and the wait staff instantly clocking me as “friend shaped” and then giving me a huge discount for no other reason… like in front of my white friends. I’m treated WAY differently and it’s honestly hilarious?? Like the really cute waitress tonight was on her break when we left and stopped to say “byeeee it was wonderful to have you!!! You were so sweet!!” At like only me, while my two other friends were right ?? there?? She also did not charge me for my drinks at all!?? Which was a slay! And this KEEPS happening?? And only with other young brown girlies and Arab dads/granddads who instantly daughter zone me and refuse to let me pay the price on the menu when they find out my mom is Arab??

Yuki Tsunoda as The Moon Tarot:
The Moon is a card of illusion and deception, and therefore often suggests a time when something is not as it appears to be. Perhaps a misunderstanding on your part, or a truth you cannot admit to yourself. Night is the time when dreams and fantasies rule.
The moon also represents instincts that we have buried in our own unconscious - they come out to play in the moonlight. But the reflections that we see springing forth can also be illusions, it is easy to lose your way in the dark.
Embracing the Moon tarot card meaning allows us to face our fears and uncertainties, trusting our instincts to guide us towards the right path.

All I can think about is watching Great crumple with the gunshot wound and the start of the show being his heart stopping in the elevator and Tonkla watching him fall and knowing that Great absolutely deserves this and that he might regret what he did but he still did it and Tonkla lost his baby brother and all his respect for his lover and then he kills his lover's baby brother for what he did to his brother and it's this perfect illustration of the one person who didn't do anything wrong (Tonkla) getting revenge on the people who hurt him (Great and Korn) in a fantastic poetic way and, hey, Win could even help him cover up his extracurricular justice which is great. If you're gonna fuck a skeazy cop because your boyfriend is too engrossed in his new illegal business to comfort you... you might as well use him to cover up your crimes you did for the revenge he wanted to help you get anyway!
... I like this original timeline. Do we get to keep it? I wanna keep it. It makes sense. And all I need for Tonkla is for him to quietly flee the country. He could be free forever and know that he didn't let them get away with murdering Dome. It'd be perfect. Empty Korn's bank account and go!

IMO a lesser mentioned reason behind Luffy's overwhelming success as a protagonist is Oda's extreme overprotectiveness. Like he'd rather jump off a cliff than let Luffy be controversial.
Marineford is an easy example. An arc heavily featuring Luffy's low point, but Oda didn't make him responsible for Ace's death. In 1000+ chapters of screentime, I can't think of an instance where Luffy did something irredeemable in fandom eyes. Only controversial scene that comes to mind is picking a fight against Zoro in Whiskey peak? Maybe Oda had the luxury to let his guard down back then bc online discussions weren't a thing PFFT
It's not like Luffy doesn't make mistakes, but Oda makes sure Luffy is immediately called out by someone in the story so he stays grounded and can apologize if he has to.
And that's not all, Oda is vocally supportive of Luffy in the polls, he can't not include Luffy in magazine covers even when the editors press him to, he made the timskip 2years bc he wanted Luffy to stay a child during story's runtime, he doesn't let a single character outshine Luffy in an arc, he cushioned Luffy's past with TWO brothers and kept one alive after taking away one of them.. he's spoiling Luffy rotten and I love to see it bc that's the right kind of spoiling, that's what keeps Luffy the happy boy he needs to be, shonen authors should take some notes methinks

QSMP artists who draw egg designs that aren't quite the fandom norm, I love you.
QSMP artists who draw the eggs as African, or Afro-Latina, or Arab/Middle Eastern, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Chayanne with 4c hair wound back in braids and dark skin, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Pomme with a dark complexion and a hijab, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Empanada as East/Southeast Asian, or wasian, or a mix between Asian and Latina, I love you. QSMP artists who draw Tilín with white hair, or darker skin, or features that match up with Luzu's a bit more, I love you. QSMP artists who draw the eggs with varying body types and clothing styles and poses, I love you.
I know that your designs might be uncommon, and they might not fit the quote unquote 'fandom norm', but they're so cool to see. Some of my favorite fanart has been with QSMP eggs that don't look like the typically design-and while the typical design is still absolutely lovely, don't feel like you need to conform to it. The eggs have no canon design. They have widely spread fanon ones, but those are only common because we, the fans, made them common. Draw what you'd like, because it's incredible to watch from the sidelines as casual competitive fanart reblogger.
