Everyone was worried for Phil, he had dark bags under his eyes and scars that were too fresh to be from purgatory. Of course, the islanders had their rumors about why Phil was a wreck, he had a run-in with the federation, or the stress of single-handedly caring for two eggs was getting to him.

Phil only let the people he was closest to know why he was a mess, that meant Fit, Etoiles, and Missa. he did not want to worry others, they had bigger problems to worry about.

As the days dragged on, Phil’s hallucinations steadily increased in size, getting to the point where Phil would fall asleep on Quesadilla Island, and wake up in Endlantis. When this happened he shakily opened his communicator and call for Fit or Etoiles.

His hallucinations weren't all bad, sometimes he was in a large forest, feeling Rose’s influence all around him, or walking among quartz pillars in the nether, or by a beach, content to watch to ocean.

However, that didn't stop Phil from isolating himself from the others, making everyone worried.

After a full month of madness, Phil finally decided that he wouldn't hide anymore. He made his way to an abandoned field, waiting until the hallucinations started. It did not take long for the world to change, the ground condensing into endstone and the sky turning dark and cold.

“Ender king!” Phil screamed, “I've come to stop this torment!” He glanced around, waiting, no, praying for some sign of a response. The very air seemed to mock him, how naive he was to try and confront the Ender king!

Foolish crow... You dare challenge me on my own turf? You didn’t even bring anyone to help you, how do you expect to get away, let alone stop me?

Void tendrils seeped from the ground, pulling at Phil’s clothing, he pulled away from the tendrils and ran, this was a horrible idea! He pulled up the chat as he ran, clumsily typing for someone to help him.

Ph1lza: I need help

FitMC: where are you?

Etoiles: what happened??

Ph1lza: I cant type coords, find me on the map. Please come quick, its gotten out of hand.

Fit immediately jumped up, he knew what ‘it’ was, he quickly located Phil on the mini-map, he was over 500 blocks away from the closest warp, Fit cursed under his breath before warping. As soon as he got there, he checked what direction he was going before running. Minutes ticked by as Fit ran, he could see flashes of what looked like Etoiles, Bad, or Foolish. It hardly mattered as they all had the same goal, getting to Phil.

They wouldn't think anything of it, but when they ran, plants and trees moved to make a clear path, almost as if nature itself wanted to help Phil.

Phil’s legs burned as he pushed himself to his limit, he couldn't keep this up for long. He was so tired...

As Phil jumped to avoid another void spike as he dashed into an open field, he looked around for the best place to run to when suddenly he heard someone call out his name. There on the left was Fit! He dashed towards him, seeing others break the treeline. “FIT!” Phil screamed, feeling the void tendrils trying to trip or pull him.

“Phil! Grab my hand!” Fit shouted, holding his hand out. Phil lunged for Fits hand, he was so close! Just grab on and-

A void tendril grabbed Phil’s foot, the teleportation magic working immediately, Phio disappeared into a shimmer of ender particles, leaving only his hat behind.

Fit gasped, searching the area for where Phil could have gone. “Phil?!” Etoiles looked around frantically. “What on earth?! He just disappeared...” Bad muttered. Fit sighed, “I think I know what happened... Tell me, have you heard of the Ender king?”

So About the Crows...

There's something I've been thinking about for a while, and I think it's time to bring it back up

We had some lore for Phil recently, regarding the Ender King. And with that, lot of people have been thinking that the Ender King is the one responsible for the black concrete around everything. (Since according to Phil's Hardcore Lore, it seems like when the Ender King tries to steal things, he leaves behind empty space in the form of black concrete. Or that's at least been implied)

And I'll be honest, this does sound super cool, but I wasn't sure if this could be the case. Though I'll admit that it's for a meta reason. I just wasn't sure if the admins would play such a big plot point around a singular player's lore. It seemed like something that would affect too much to be centered around a single player. And I do still think that personally. That it would be cool if the Ender King was the one responsible for all the concrete, but it just doesn't seem too likely for story reasons. (Though I do wanna note that this doesn't mean NONE of the concrete is from the Ender King. The concrete surrounding the first mysterious message Phil got could easily be attributed to him, but we just can't be sure)

But like I said at the beginning, there IS something I wanted to bring up that happened a while ago

Did you know that there were crows on the server at one point?

That Phil found a one in the wild, a pretty long time ago, but left it because "Oh he can just go back for it." But he never found another one

Even Dapper, the notorious mob collector, has noted that crows don't show up on the island anymore

Phil recently revealed that he doesn't specifically plan his lore himself. That he makes some broad suggestions, and the admins are the ones doing the finer details surrounding it. When he saw the note from the Ender King, he didn't know that was going to happen. He had no clue it would be the Ender King talking to him. Which as someone else noted, means that the admins planning this know about Phil's Hardcore Lore

Which would obviously mean they know about the crows. About US

I always wondered why the admins disabled crows, thinking maybe there's some ability they have that's a little OP. But I looked it up, and it looks like the main ability they have is the ability to collect items, and even put them in containers. Which compared to a lot of the other mobs from this mod, is pretty tame. The only other thing they seem to do of note is destroy crops (Though I am getting this from the Wiki, which I have noticed can be pretty bare-bones, so for all I know, there really IS a hugely OP ability they can do)

Now I'm thinking they had a different reason to disable the crows. A LORE reason. To Phil, we, the crows, are canon. We exist, basically just following him around and talking to him. But there aren't any crows there. We're not there. And this, along with everything that happened with the Birdcage, has just served to isolate him, driving him further and further into his deteriorating mental state. Instead of the usual crows, he sees parrots, and hummingbirds, possibly to distract him from their absence

Now I obviously don't know how long they've been planning all this lore, but it's just super weird that they disabled them in the first place. Maybe they knew they were gonna do SOMETHING regarding Phil, but didn't know what, and just disabled them to prepare for whatever they might eventually plan. Regardless, the crows are gone

But I think one day, possibly sooner than we think, the crows will be back

quietly reading philza's arcs with rose and the ender king + Hardcore in general as a dissociative disorder instead of possession. phil having a hard time differentiating whether things were dreams or reality, his memory being dogshit throughout, finding things done he didn't do, reading books and letters written to him from someone else, the arguably dissociative episodes of Hardcore, the whole Birdhouse arc, now with him doing shit he otherwise wouldn't, having times where his skills/senses are different (e.g. experiencing temporary blindness and then having strength/resistance he wouldn't otherwise have).

as someone obsessed with phils hardcore lore, this stream is quite literally a dream come true for me. the fact that not only were we right in assuming the first letter was from rose, the flower goddess, we also were right in assuming that the ender king was the one sending the second letter.

for ease of comprehension, everytime i use qphil, i will also be talking about hcphil!

i also find it fascinating that this suggests the ender king is alive. for those unaware, in the current time of phils hardcore world, the ender king has been defeated. you may be familiar with the endlantis project; the flooded end realm phil made. the whole reason endlantis exists is because it was how the ender king was defeated, the other 5 deities in the world redirected his attempt to merge all 3 realms together to an overworld ocean.

so the fact is seems the ender king is alive, and not only is alive, he is ACTIVELY looking to help qphil? we know the ender king is selfish and only does things with a motive to gain power, so, is the ender king looking to take over quesadilla island?

but even then, there holes in that theory, because the ender king isnt the only one to reach out from the hc deities. rose has too. albeit a lot kinder and gentler in making him realise his 'dreams' weren't dreams, she still reached out. so is the pattern to continue? is the blaze empress going to reach out? is the ocean overlord going to? it strangely seems as though the deities are united in this, even if the ender king has ulterior motives to do so.

its going to be really interesting to see how they incorporate the hardcore lore, its already been interesting seeing how the admin writing the letters interprets their personalities. i hope the ocean overlords letter is like 'hiya m8, sorry for this, sure this is baffling. but uhh i wanna help u man'

its also going to be interesting to see how they handle the black concrete. the qsmp uses black concrete as a way to represent the shadow virus, but hcs4 uses it to depict void; hence the nethervoid. we've already seen a difference in how it's affected qphil versus, say, qforever

Heres some explanation for this piece! I wanted to just put the story as I have it in my head. Basicaly its kind of timeline of character minecraft block guy life. All rp and takes place in the weird connected lores and fictions of various worlds/servers Philza played and therefore the cubito character was there.

I headcanon that he was god/sprit since the start, but the god of unfortune and misery. YIKES. SHEEEESH yeah not fun! Well he lived his live as just a guy, refusing to be doomed by narrative, living his best and happiest, as much as he could. And hes still got his doom coming for him.

He would go on like that for lifes, but he met character!Mumza. She went like "oh hes so silly and full of hope" and made him her angle. Which is. Welp. Ermmm. Angel of doomed death now? GUY CANT HAVE A BREAK

In his new existence he found the horror and greed and boredom (greedy greedy phil, worth it /ref) which is represented by his young new self, feasting on wonders of worlds he gets to live (hardcore world for example)

And also as he grew and changed he found deepest love, kindness and care for things, and people, he previously never felt before, wchich is represented by his older self form, pre qsmp times and qsmp times.

And finnaly the most recent events, todays stream where he saw a message from Ender King now directely named, that inspired to draw me this. This part about confusion and facing his past and lives he had and consequences of it all.

Lots of room to add more, I LOOOOVE THE LORE Im so freaking happy to see phils hardcore lore getting so much more space and scenarios to be explored!!!!!

I'm having such a struggle picking which fucking one to do bc on one hand Foolish probably has more material to work with but on the other I've seen Phil and Charlie interact so much (but like outside of qsmp) that I'd have a way better idea of their dynamic. Phil had no fucking clue what Foolish's deal was prior to being paired with him on Bolas. He knew he was a goofy happy-go-lucky and talented guy that?? Maybe had allegiances with the Feds?? Hard to tell?? He thought it was a bit tbh. But Purgatory opened Phil's eyes up and he learned that yeah, he's kinda right to a degree. But there are still layers to Foolish despite how Just Vibing he is.

And holy shit can he TELL Foolish has the capacity to be terrifying. You're telling me an immortal shark-totem hybrid doesn't have the ability to kill a motherfucker violently??? NAH. Phil can tell if enough of the right buttons are pushed, Foolish would snap and tear a bitch to shreds. Likely for Leo.

Phil's not entirely sure he can trust Foolish bc he's so unclear about where his loyalties lie, but Phil CAN tell that Foolish keeps it that way for a reason, and Phil thinks it's smart. Despite not entirely trusting him, he believes Foolish wouldn't like. Sell out his friends for a corn chip, yknow?

Now when you take all the serious out of these two though, THEN it gets interesting. Foolish is one of the islanders that has the easiest time getting Phil to let loose. It's just contagious, Foolish is too silly.

At the same time Phil looks at him and is just like ???? How the fuck does he smile through the horrors like that ???? Like clearly he's aware Situations suck and he's anxious like anyone else so how does he have the willpower to be silly and chill???? Phil envies it. He's too full of anxiety. Survivalist's curse.

Foolish's laugh is pure serotonin to Phil. And kryptonite, Foolish's laugh makes Phil laugh. He can't help it. Motherfucker sounds like a window washer squeegee thing when he's dying.

They have 2 very different flavors of immortality to me and while I don't know how a conversation about it would go bc Foolish is so casual and Phil is so? Not secretive but like. Not nonchalant about it? There's still something there that the ccs should cook on. I'm begging them to, in fact.

Also something about how one of them has deep ties to the air and the other technically has deep ties to the sea. Something about that. Especially when used in like, a serious situation. Like spying on the Federation or some shit. Do you see my vision. Using their inborn abilities to their advantage while in collaboration with each other for the sake of them and their friends. Do you see it.

I don't headcanon Phil as a short king like the entire rest of the fandom apparently does but obviously Foolish is fucking enormous compared to 99% of people, Phil included. If Phil could fly he'd spitefully hover just a little higher than Foolish's full height just to mess with him.

FUCKING. TALENTED BIG BUILDS DUO. SHAKING THEM BY THE SHOULDERS WHEN WILL THEY COLLAB. (The kids beg for this often)

Foolish has no idea if he's some kinda deity or if he's just immortal with some kinda weird totem roots and it drives Phil insane bc the hardcore deities have such a different energy than him yet you're telling him (maybe) both are divinity??

Speaking of the hardcore deities, Phil desperately wants to introduce Foolish to the Ocean Overlord bc they're (maybe) both himbo gods with some sort of tie to the ocean that are just vibing their asses off. (Oh my god wait I'm cooking on that idea. Doozers let's cook together on this).

Phil is jealous that Foolish can still swim, the thing he's deeply connected to (esp with those cosmetic fins he has) but he can't fly, the thing he's deeply connected to. But really it's just that Foolish is lucky bc the Federation would have to horrifically butcher him more or less in order to take away his ability to swim properly. Phil's easier to forcibly contain.

Believe it or not, if a situation arose where it was necessary, Phil would pick Foolish for his team (again) in a heartbeat. He may not be as passionate about fighting as Etoiles, or as ruthless as Fit, but hes powerful nonetheless, a trusted friend, has been in that situation with Phil before, and is a beacon of positivity; excellent for morale. Silly disposition and weird alliances aside, Foolish is an invaluable addition to a team from an objective perspective.

So it seems like Phil is gonna get possessed by the Ender king, but I saw someone mention other islanders willingly (or not) letting other hardcore deities possess their bodies to fight the Ender king. I cannot get this outta my mind.

So firstly, Rose and Missa. RRRRRRRRR I WANT THIS PLEASE!!! The juxtaposition of Missa, a skeleton/walling corpse, with Rose, a goddess of life just makes me go feral. I could write paragraphs about this.

Next, Ocean overlord. Hes kinda a himbo tbh, good for him. You know who else is kinda a himbo associated with water? Foolish. Their teamup would be amazing!

Third, Blaze empress, honestly I would like her to team with BBH or Etoiles, they would go nicely :)

on phandom whiteness, race and stereotypes

I've been meaning to make this post for a while. I have never been very active in this fandom space, and part of that has been due to a discomfort I have felt that i have never felt i could discuss openly. So while I want to be a part of this phandom, I need to adress the elephant in the room and I want this sideblog I created to be a space where others like me can feel safe to voice their feelings and thoughts.

To preface this, I am not looking to "cancel" dan and phil. I just want to talk about my experiences both as a hardcore phan for years, and as someone who deviates from the usual dnp fan: I'm not a white person from Europe, US, Canada.

To put it bluntly, some of their videos are extremely hard to watch and enjoy and it makes me feel alienated when no one talks about it. There is no media without "problematic" elements, but I feel like in other fandom spaces people at least talk about elements worth questioning because they may be offensive or ignorant.* And yet dan and phil are hailed as "unproblematic kings" when this is not the case at all, and it's hard to bring up how I feel.

I'm not looking to make a comprehensive list of everything they've said, but I will talk about a few examples to illustrate what I mean.

Does anyone remember the Mexican Dan thing? He seems to have deleted most of the things associated with that period where he was tan and "jokingly" fancied himself a different race because of it but this little window to that time remains in one of the most beloved videos of all time. Can you see how this might be hard to watch? When even the most iconic videos they've made are sprinkled with little instances of ignorant comments like this?

And let me be clear, I know this was ages ago. I'm aware they might have grown and changed. What really gets to me is how nobody in the phandom ever talks about these moments. It makes me really lonely and disappointed that everyone turns a blind eye to things that might tarnish the image of their faves.

Like for example, the pewdiepie situation. I'm not going to discuss everything he did and said. But imagine how it might feel as a non-white fan to want to rewatch old dnpgames videos and find that they kept their videos with him up all this time:

They were clearly quite friendly with F*lix. Besides these videos, Felix is also casually mentioned in some of their videos and livestreams from the time before he was "cancelled" (more on that later). But did they ever say anything condemning his actions? I think that given how they had collaborated and were friends, I would expect them to say SOMETHING rather than just never speak on the matter (as far as I know, the closest they got to this was in a liveshow where dan said he had had "a conversation" with felix in a way that implied he disapproved of his actions.) Or at the very very least, is it really that hard to delete a video? They have deleted old videos for a variety of reasons. How is collabing with a known racist not reason enough to go through the trouble of deleting a video? But deleting other videos just because they're a bit"cringey" is worth that time?

I just wonder how regretful they really are at having been friends and collaborators with him. In fact, part of me wonders if they are still friends behind the scenes. If this is ever confirmed btw, that will cause me to stop watching them forever. And they might still be friends in their little white circle for all we know. After all dan and phil are long time friends of KickthePj. And PJ is STILL friends with pewdiepie.

Now, besides PJ being dnp's friend and having once been part of the phantastic foursome, I don't care much for his content except for when dan and phil have been featured (lol sorry not sorry). And this might be the case for many of you as well! But some of you ARE avid kickthepj fans and decided to ignore the fact that he uploaded a video with pewdiepie last month. There is no plausible deniability here anymore. Despite the harms pewdiepie has done in internet spaces--and how that extends to real life--NOBODY said anything about how kickthepj doesn't care enough (or at all) to simply NOT make a video with pewdiepie.

It's staggering to me that no one cares. It's shocking to me that in these videos i've mentioned, you go to the comment section and everyone will be happily enjoying the video with no mention of these things.

Is this what being "cancelled" looks like? It seems to me like with the passage of time, Pewdiepie and his friends and followers just want to sweep it all under the rug. How is it that the internet will tear a man to shreds for plagiarism but then find it in themselves to excuse racism?

Why does no one care? Is it because this space is overwhelmingly white? I think so. I think it's a conscious choice to turn a blind eye when it's convenient. So I just wanted to make this post to say that if you ever feel alienated by the white ignorance of dnp or their circle of their fans, then you can come talk to me and I won't ignore you.

I want to be a part of this phandom, I really love dan and phil, but I'm not going to "stan" them. I'm not going to make excuses for them. And I'm not going to keep quiet just so I can be a part of this fandom without making the vast majority of white fans uncomfortable.

*I'm thinking of my experiences in the supernatural fandom. (Although, i'm not saying it's perfect. There are certainly a number of fics that have made me feel very disappointed inthe creator for falling into the trap of racial stereotypes in OCs and stuff like that, and despite that so many people enjoy it and include it in rec lists.)

So I’d like to get a theory out that I’ve been thinking of for a long while regarding q!Philza and today’s stream seems to be heading into that direction.

Let’s start with evidence before I reveal the theory.

Philza had said and confirmed that his Angel of Death role is relevant and the only one on the whole island who is suppose to know is his son, Cheyanne. No one should know about this besides him.

So why have all this death topic/relevant come up?

We have Bonnie the skeleton horse come around lately and confirms that Tallulah and Cheyanne have relations to death. Tallulah as a guide and Cheyanne as an old ancient king.

When things begin for q!Philza, it was the birdhouse arc. There he is refereed to as the “Crow” or “the Crowfather”, which is a first as he has been referred to as Philza for the longest… so why the sudden change?

Continuing, he is lead on a small journey and suddenly he is trapped by Cucurucho… but could it really be Cucurucho? Since then he was “asleep” for a week, dreaming about his hardcore world. When he comes back, unlike the locked and blocked door, its open and a trail of flowers leads him to… Cucurucho? To me, it doesn’t feel right. Why would Cucurucho lock him up and suddenly let him go? Sure it could be to mess with him, but something doesn’t add up.

Since then, he’s been having hallucination/derealization problems. Can’t tell if he’s awake or if anything is real. Birds are appearing to him whether it’d be in a cage or freed. Birds are given to Phil… like a gift…. And when the updates refer to Phil, it is now as Crowfather.

Going on, his home is constantly invaded by the dark blocks that is spreading throughout the SMP, which to take note, no one else has experience any dark blocks within their home besides from Phil.

Also to keep in mind, the black structures have been appear and if you look at them in a certain angle, they look like pyramids… and what is related to pyramids? Sacrifice.

In the Mexican culture (one of the tribes that reside in Mexico, I can’t remember what they were called) Temples/Pyramids were often used to hold ceremonies… sometimes sacrifices.

Not only that but the holiday, Day of the Dead, happens recently which also announces their departure from Egg Island… to Purgatory. Another thing related to death. There an eye tells what the members must do and of all of the members, Phil is the one to deny the rules for the longest before he eventually fell into his old ways… the angel was released.

And what does the updates call Phil…

“The Angel of Death may not be able to use his wings, but gravity has always been his friend; Phil has Fit in his clutches.”

They know… so what does that mean for Phil?

Well with today, we saw that q!Quackity escaped and sees what Egg Island has become. Not only that but he is suddenly killed off by Evilrucho. Why? Why am I saying this?

q!Quackity had a different ticket than the others. Granted that q!ElQuackity took it, it was still Quackity’s. And he is killed off.

Who else has different tickets?

Slime, Wilbur, Vegetta, and Philza.

I am saying, Philza could possibly be targeted as well as the others… but think… if any of the groups aside from the members of the island, gets their hands on Philza… they got control of death.

What makes this worse is that an entity has been contacting Philza. Saying that it “misses” him (his dark wings that darken the sky and his loud caw {metaphorical} is heard from afar) and that it’ll guide him when the time will come.

Now you can say it could be a positive outcome and its Bonnie the skele-horse and possibly Mumza… but the worst case senecio is Evilrucho who ended Quackity’s life early.

I could be wanting… “his” angel. What’s worse?

The Crow is also known as the “Sunbird” which can be used as another name for the Phoenix. Not only that but with Quackity’s death, comes… canon lives. And with death comes the angel.

I feel like Evilrucho is trying to get Philza at his weakest and turn him onto it’s side… it said it wanted freedom… but what does it require to be free?

Also some side notes:

In the maze, Evilrucho was the one to lead the Pendejo Trio to the spinning wheel. To which it “landed” on Cheyanne’s “number?” Which shows later when the rest goes into the maze that Cheyanne’s duck floatie is the only one in the glass dome, possibly hinting at what I am trying to get to.

Tallulah and Cheyanne are the only ones (aside from Leo) to contact their parent.

Philza has been putting a huge emphasis on his wings lately. (Possibly gets them back?)

Like sons like daughter like father, Philza’s family is known for heavy angst. So what is to say that he won’t have heavy angst for his character~
