absolutely no shade to anyone on tumblr bc there’s no right or wrong way to tag things but it is pretty funny every time someone reblogs a post and tags it as every single existing iteration of that media’s name or whatever. like bestie that doesn’t do anything here on tumblr it doesn’t do anything promotional for op. you would only do that if that was your original post and you were trying to gain traction for it. meanwhile for reblogging the only purpose of tagging things is for organizational purposes so you can find it again easily. in other words reblog-tagging is for you. or the people already on your blog. you really only have to pick one tag per thing and commit to using it bestie. spare yourself the effort of typing all that mess. love yourself

So i kind of accidentally had a mini star strek movie marathon this evening while sewing

The entire episode would have to be overhauled for it to work, of course (so that Daryl isn't a creep, even though you do partly feel sympathetic towards him, of course), but part of me is interested in the Daryl/Cordelia relationship (because she did love him before his untimely death--before he was Frankenstein-ed back--but didn't the guy actually break her heart before that? Wow.). Probably because of my interest in Beauty and the Beast type ships, of course.

I mean, at the end of the day, out of all of the guys Cordelia was ever paired with, I'd never want Cordy to end up with Daryl. Not even close.

But I often times think of all of the love interests the characters in these series ever had, and this whole thing was interesting (I mean, it was obviously meant to parallel Bangel/Bangelus in a lot of ways. But a more horrifying version? Arguably? And while Buffy was willing to love a monster, Cordelia wasn't here yet? And for some obvious good reason?). And if things were changed, it could have been even more interesting.

Again, if I had my pick, I would never want Cordy to end up with Daryl. Doyle, Angel, Groo, Xander... anyone else but him. But it's fun to think about for AUs or something.
