your boyfriend just came home from a long day of training. thankfully the agency was close to your guys’ apartment, but that also meant his sweat was fresh too…

“welcome home!” you cheer as you prepare dinner for you two.

“hi honey,” his sweet voice comes behind you and looks over your shoulder to see what you’re making, about to hug you from behind.

“hanbinnn, i told you to shower when you get home” you shimmy forward and look up to him with a lighthearted pout.

he laughs, “i don’t even smell that bad!” you furrow your eyebrows, waiting for him to accept reality. he sighs, “okay okay, i’ll be quick, love you!” walking to your guys’ room to wind down and shower.

hanbin comes out of the room in his pajamas and a shower headband in a shape of a dog’s face, hair still damp. you can’t help but chuckle, “i’m glad you like my gift,” he smiles “whatever”

you guys eat dinner and talk about each other’s days, quieting down just to enjoy the food and quality time. you wash the dishes together and get ready to watch a show in bed.

hanbin realizes he’s left his headband in for a bit too long, “ah, now my hair dried all weird” he mops sitting up in bed. you coming out from the washroom, finished your nightly routine, smiles. “its okay,” you laugh “here, i’ll fix it.” you walk up to his side of the bed.

you take off the headband slightly, hanbins looking up at you with a warm smile. he wasn’t wrong, his hair was disheveled, half up, half drooping. you dont say anything though, you just run your fingers through his hair, fluffing and loosening it while combing it down to its normal state. hanbin sighs and leans his head into your chest, “this is really nice” you smile and continue playing with it a bit.

“okay you’re handsome as always now, lets watch this episode, i heard from hao that its really dramatic” you open up the blanket hanbin is under so you can sit between his legs and lean back on him. he was so greatful to have small moments like this with you.

lee jeonghyeon

jeonghyeon and you were studying the the same course at your guys’ uni apartment… more like you were forcing him to study.

he goes on and on talking about being some genius lee and thats why he doesn’t need to study. however, his recent test grades say otherwise, which is why you guys are studying together now.

when you guys were studying together, he had some questions about some topics and he seemed genuinely interested in getting better for his grades. you were charmed by his lost looks and wanted more, so you teased him.

“hey y/n what does this term mean again?” jeonghyeon points to a word you know but you can’t give it to him so easily when he looks so cute with a small pout.

you smile and lean in close to him, you can see it in his eyes, he’s freaking out a little bit, trying to focus on something other than your pretty face. “hmm, i’ll tell you if i get a kiss” you grin without teeth. his ears were getting red and he leaned back, he didn’t want to give in so quickly, even though his heartbeat doubled in speed.

“w-why ? you didn’t do this when i asked before?” jeonghyeon couldn’t even sound calm, your hand was on the table so close to yours, making him even more nervous. you go back to your original position, “okay you can figure it out on your o-“ you were pulled in for a warm kiss. he holds onto your hand.

immediately reciprocating, you scoot your chair closer to him and deepen the kiss. after a minute, you guys pull apart out of breath. you were so surprised with his immediate affection, you were now with the red face.

“can you tell me the answer now?” he smiles lightly with swollen lips. you still find him so cute like this, knowing he just wanted to kiss you but acting like it was for schoolwork.

you smile, let go of his hand in order to play with the ends of his hair on the back of his head. “i think you made me forget,” he shyly smiles looking away but still letting you play with his hair.

he pulls your head into his shoulder, “you know i really like this, we should study more together.”

you work as a freelancer, mostly online, so naturally as your boyfriend, zhang hao, is busy studying to be a music instructor, you spend most of your day alone until he comes from practice.

around an hour before hao comes home you prepare dinner, but you know his busy schedule can be unexpecting. to make sure he has a hot meal ready, you keep the food covered on the dinner table. so you can reheat the dinner once he gets home.

waiting for hao, you sit on the couch while watching a reality show. you sit properly but slowly lean your head back and dose off.

you woke up when you felt a shift in your lap. you also realise the feeling of a neck pillow around you. oh whats this… you slowly rub your eyes open, your show is still on but muted. looking down in your lap you see zhang hao, still in his outside clothes and sound asleep.

he looked so calm and affectionate, snuggling closer even in his sleep. you felt so grateful to be his safe space. you couldnt help but run your fingers through his soft hair and rub the back of his neck.

hao being a light sleeper wakes up and peeks one eyes open, “mmm i love you,” he mumbles. you smile. “i love you too hao, you must be hungry” you lean to the side to get your phone but hao grumbles cutely, eyes still closed.

“can you keep doing that for a little?” you were confused, “do what?” you see the time, it’s already too late for dinner.

“playing with my hair,” he usually isn’t this straightforward, but his tiredness seemingly made him this cute.

you giggle, “anything for you.”

sipping your hot latte, you’re waiting for your boyfriend, ricky, to come in the neighbourhood cafe for a quick coffee before your actual date, a fun couples art session.

you were sketching in your book, planning out what possible artworks you guys could make together. 15 minutes has past of when you guys had agreed on meeting and he still hadn’t come yet. did he change his mind or something? you couldn’t understand why he was late

feeling sad, you plug in your earphones, put your head down and doodle to distract yourself. you were on the verge of tears when you feel a tap on your shoulder.

“surprise!” you turn around and see ricky with a messy bouquet of flowers. he sees your glossy eyes and bends down so your eye to eye.

you take a tissue and dab under your eyes, “where were you?! its been 20 minutes since you said you’d come” you lightly shove his shoulder and pout.

“im sorry babe i saw all the flowers out while walking here and i thought you’d like them… sorry i kinda got carried away with picking pretty ones for you,” he awkwardly laughs and hands you the bouquet wrapped in todays newspaper.

you couldn’t help but smile, ricky has always been so sweet to you, and you know you could not stay mad at him. you’re heart swelled as you took the bouquet, seeing familiar flowers. he put his hand on the table.

“babe i forgive you, but these are our neighbours’ flowers they’re gonna be so upset” you smile, no more tears threatening to leak. he shyly laughs. you knew he already did it and there was no point on drilling it in on him.

you set down the bouquet in your lap and held his hand on the table. “nevermind that actually, thank you ricky, i really appreciate it,” you ran his fingers through the back of his hair and played with the ends. “you did well”

rickys ears turned red, looking away slightly smiling. “hm? what are you thinking?” you ask,

i was SEATED from beginning to end

genuinely one of my favorite performances out of all of them just because of how powerful and visually clean this group was on stage

the beat had me hooked from the start

phanbin's facial expressions left me in shock

this man's stage presence is so strong

didn't really notice him before this but now he has all my attention

i also think that his rapping has improved a lot since the start

and don't get me started on na kamden

honestly one of the only reasons why this isn't my all time favorite stage is just because of how much they focused on the dance aspect

like with people like yujin and zihao on the team, i can see why that might have been a conscious decision

but making everything so dance focused when it was a dance AND rap stage made it seem like something was lacking

my man kamden still slayed tho

the deep voice, the slight rasp, the flow control

the deep voice had me GAGGED

the way he was so proud when back koo-young praised his dance made my heart heal a little

on the other hand, the way mnet didn't post anything about wang zihao making the second part of the dance break!?!?!

like they gave him no screentime at all

but i also love how everyone was hyping him up in the comments and informing everyone that he choreographed some of the song

cause that man's krumping is not a joke

hes so talented and i hope more people listen to his solo works

defo loved his raspy voice in the intro though i think i really tied everything together

i think he had the least impression just because of how strong his other teammates were

plus the cohesiveness of the whole performance made it hard to pick him out from the crowd

but as a whole it was a really amazing stage that felt super professional and it slowly became one of my favorites out of all boys planet performances.

before this performance he was one of my bias wreakers

now i have a feeling he's becoming my ult

he OWNED this stage hands down and I'm so glad that people agree with me

everyone's saying that this is the moment where his debut was secured and i honestly agree

i mean look into his sparkly passionate eyes and tell me that you don't absolutely adore him and think he's the most amazing, cute, talented, person ever

youngjoon saying he loved taerae's smile is my roman empire because SAME BESTIE, SAME

overall this performance didn't really speak to me when i first watched it because i've heard the original and that put my expectations SKY high (listen to infinite people)

but as i rewatched it and started really getting into it to it i got the hype

it also produced the iconic line

dongyeol really surprised me with his vocals

i think his improvement should be studied fr cause i think he added a sense of humor and amusement to the stage which i genuinely don't hate

woojin was the one who stood out the least to me which i predicted from the start

as sub vocalist 3 but main rapper i thought the rap would let him have his time to shine but personally mingyu stole the show

mnet also gave him like 3 whole seconds of exposure throughout the whole performance which may have been another reason why i felt he was the weakest of the 4

genuinely feel like that was a more broadcasting issue than a him issue though which makes me sad :(

overall a really sweet and cute stage that i would defo rewatch whenever i have the time

literally the second i saw hanbin, zhang hao, gunwook, and hui on the same team i knew it was over

also the way i didn't know hoe-taek was hui from pentagon was shameful (don't come for me pls)

i literally figured it out after i saw a tiktok saying that when he was singing tomboy he was singing his ex-girlfriends, ex-group's song(he dated soojin for the ppl that don't know)

the way i went into shock for a hot minute

anyways back to the performance

love love loved zhang hao's prechorus

i feel like it felt really rushed and emotional but in the best way possible

even with the sub vocalist 1 and sub rapper 1 positions (plus the fact that he didn't get the killing part) i think that he really got the most out of his lines and made the performance his own

the way they changed "why are you cranky boy" to "why are you cranky girl" kind of threw me off though

like let them embrace their inner twink mnet

censoring the chorus of the song also kind of disappointed me cause i felt that it made the song feel less powerful

but i already knew it was coming as bp is meant to be a "family friendly" broadcast (I'm say this in the most sarcastic way possible)

gunwooks rap tho...

the way it was stuck in my head for a solid week is probably really unhealthy but i don't care

it wasn't really a vocally powerful song and i feel like it had the same issue as law but instead of not enough emphasis on the rap it was the vocals

but they still tried their best and i think that they did stand out in some ways

these stylists need a raise fr cause the way that the red suits fit the stage so well

but the way that they covered seo won and gyuvin's chest made me giggle a little

overall i would say that its defo not as polished as some of the other performances, but the overall concept and vibe suited all the trainees so much that the execution was bound to be amazing

cha woongki carried the feel special team on his back

they better have thanked all the gods above that gunwook kicked him out of his first pic otherwise that performance would have been so screwed

the way it felt like a whole solo song just for him because no one else wanted to sing :(

another thing i wanted to talk about was the limousine performance

the way i was shocked by how good it was

they trashed mnet, they ate, and then they left (literally)

i was gonna talk about it but i didn't have the time, so just know that it has a very special place in my heart

special mention number 3 goes to jongwoo

as a rapper being put in a VERY vocally difficult song like home, im so glad that he overcame the difficulties and placed 1st cause he deserves it

his facial expressions never fail to get me every time

i also think he's such an amazing leader and deserves credit for that

park hanbin likes to pretend.

he's always one to be happy, to smile, even when he's necessarily not. hanbin doesn't like it when people worry about him, so he decides to pretend everything's okay because the idea of other people worrying about him bothers him.

he'd rather be the one to worry about others, he doesn't want others to take care of him, he'd prefer for that not to happen.

hanbin likes to think that he's good at hiding his true emotions, even with the sometimes worrying looks he gets from his group mates, he doesn't say anything in the slightest bit.

the only thing really helping hanbin is that he's keeping up this façade.

there are many times when hanbin wanted to quit, to collapse onto the floor and never wake up, but he has to keep a brave face for the rest of his members. they look up to him, see him as their leader, it'd be selfish of him to quit because then he'd discourage everyone else, everyone else who was working so hard to make sure they don't get a harsh scolding from the dance instructor.

hanbin hates when he hears the rest of the group get scolded, but then hears;

"wow, hanbin, your perfect!"

"you should all follow in hanbin's footsteps".

"you have everything an idol needs, you should be debuting soon".

hanbin always feels his heart tighten whenever those words are spoken, because they don't help him at all. they're backhanded, he hates how those words shade his group mates, the people he's known for almost four years now, he hates that these people call him perfect when he isn't, it pisses him off how even with all he's done, he still feels like a failure.

even if hanbin is perfect, even if he has everything an idol needs, he doesn't feel like it. it's hard to feel like you are anything in a company like wakeone, where the only people who care for you are your close friends, no one in the company has really cared about their little group ever since that one manger who used to sneak them snacks after practice left.

hanbin doesn't know how he manages everything without bursting into tears about all of the stuff stressing him out.

there are so many times where hanbin just wants to break down, to sob. there are so many times when he has to hold back his tears, he gets so scared thinking about the future of the group, how they probably won't debut even with how hard they're trying.

but hanbin has to keep up a brave face for the rest of his members.

he doesn't wanna discourage them, especially junghyun and jihoo, they're still in school, they're kids, he has to take care of them more than the others, because they're the youngest.

he wants them to have hope.

even if he necessarily doesn't.

to be fair, it's hard to have faith in a company like wakeone. the company doesn't care about them, clearly, as long as they can make money, they don't care.

which is why their first choice was to cancel their debut and throw them into a survival show.

hanbin knew wakeone wouldn't be responsible, he knew they'd do something careless and simply say; "were not gonna debut you guys, anymore".

but a survival show? and an mnet one.

they always had this planned.

hanbin remembers everything. the sighs, the groans, the looks of disappointment from everyone else as they realized they had to wait even longer to debut after all they've done.

and now they all probably won't even debut together.

hanbin's shoulder slump, another wave of disappointment washing over him.

all of their hard work, still not rewarded.

"can you believe it? a survival show? that's what they thought was the best option" minseok scoffs as he folds his laundry, a 'tsk' escapes jeonghyeon's lips.

"it's just another way to make millions of dollars, just like all the other survival shows".

"all we have to do is sacrifice everything else we've done before" y/n states seriously, his leg bouncing up and down as he bites his inner cheek.

hanbin stays silent, which is honestly pretty abnormal. even taerae is talking more than him, and taerae usually goes quiet during conversations like this.

he's stressed, tired, worn out, he's practiced too much these days, he feels himself disassociating more and more during conversations with his group mates.

everything has simply become too much for him these past few days.

"i'm not doing your laundry, jeonghyeon!"

"why can't you just be nice, y/n?"

taerae laughs, hiding his mouth behind his hand as minseok simply sighs, used to those two and their constant bickering.

hanbin gives a fond smile at the two, even in a situation where they feel insanely hopeless, his group mates will always find a way to cheer him up, even unconsciously.

y/n nudges jeonghyeon, making the boy whine as he clings onto taerae, sticking his tongue out at him. he taps hanbin, making him jump.

"what?"

"everything okay?"

hanbin blinks, nodding as a fake smile comes to his face. "i'm fine.. just tired".

y/n hums, letting out a small 'ah'. he looks like he doesn't believe hanbin, but he doesn't say anything about it if he actually does.

"take it easy, okay?"

i wish i could..

hanbin smiles, a pained one at that, but he still smiles. he sighed and clasps his hands together, wanting to just walk away. "it's already nine o'clock, junghyun and jihoo should be going to sleep now".

he doesn't say anything more, he just gets up and walks out of the laundry room, leaving his other 02 liners there.

y/n narrows his eyes, watching as he walks away.

hanbin jolts up.

his breath is unsteady, and his eyes are watery, as if he'll burst into tears any minute then. he simply just sits for a second, catching his breath, as of he'd just run a marathon even though he did nothing which should be taking away his breath.

he closes his eyes, but then quickly opens them because he just can't.

every time he closes his eyes he's reminded of what was in that horrific dream..

it's been a while since hanbin's had a nightmare. they were pretty bad when he was a kid, then got a little more manageable when he was in his teens.

but that was— that was horrible.

it's like hanbin's mind is purposefully playing tricks on him, trying to convince him that it's all his fault and that his friends aren't okay.

his breath hitches as his mind goes to thoughts of his friends not being okay. he quickly looks to the side, but taerae, minseok, and jeonghyeon are all peacefully sleeping in their beds, okay.

oh thank god..their okay, nothing bad happened hanbin, it was just a nightmare.

he pauses, taking in a deep breath as he tries to calm himself down, still struggling to keep his composure as he calms down from the nightmare he just had minutes prior.

he just sits there for a moment, bringing his knees to his chest as he listens. he listens to taerae's snores, minseok's tiny breaths, jeonghyeon's small mumbling.

hanbin then pauses.

y/n.

where the hell is y/n?

that's who was missing, hanbin looks to his bed, but it's empty, he's not there, he's not there.

hanbin panics, anxiety immediately rising. he feels like he's overreacting, but at the same time, his mind is racing with horrible thoughts.

he's probably okay hanbin, your just thinking too much into it, all you had was a nightmare.

but what if he isn't?

hanbin desperately tries to ignore the voice in his head as he slips out of the bed, tired, stressed, and worried.

y/n is okay, hanbin, he's okay, he's probably just getting water! no need to worry!

are you sure about that?

hanbin keeps trying to reassure himself, but it seems that his bad thoughts are outweighing any good ones he might be having.

he clears his throat, hands getting sweaty as he feels his eyes start welling up with tears.

he doesn't even know why he's getting overly emotional, he just is. everything is just horrible, he feels like he can't manage anything.

he tries so hard to put on a brave face for everyone else, but everything is just piling up on him and he feels like he's about to breakdown.

he wipes his tears before they can fall, and as he walks forward, he bumps into a figure.

"oh i'm sorry" y/n's soft voice greets hanbin, and said boy let’s put a soft sigh. the younger blinks, eyes widening as he sees the tears threatening to fall down hanbin's place. "hanbin, honey, what happened?"

hanbin closed his eyes, small tears falling down his cheek as y/n moves his thumb to wipe them. "y/n, i'm sorry" he whispers, he can't muster up an actual voice to speak.

"what— why are you sorry?"

"because i.." hanbin pauses, his eyes shift as he sighs in disappointment. "i can't be brave, and i can't constantly be okay, even with how much i try and it's frustrating me—"

y/n frowns at his words, his expression turning into one of sympathy. he wraps his arm around hanbin, who simply melts into his touch. "okay, calm down".

hanbin sniffles, and y/n wipes the remaining of his tears. the younger sighs, the frown stuck to his face as he sees hanbin try his best to not start crying again. "what happened?"

"i had a nightmare" hanbin begins, swallowing the lump in his throat. "all of you guys got hurt, and i panicked when i saw you weren't there because i thought something bad happened".

hanbin takes in a deep breath, finally looking up at y/n. he bites his bottom lip, hoping he didn't say anything wrong.

"there's nothing wrong with that".

"hm?"

"hanbin, sometimes it's okay to not be okay" he states, and hanbin shifts up as y/n takes his hand. "you don't have to constantly put up a 'happy' attitude, your allowed to sad, mad, frustrated, we'd all understand, you work hard, it's not like it's abnormal".

"but.." hanbin pauses, squeezing y/n's hands for comfort. "it's.. i wanna be a good leader, i don't wanna discourage anyone, i have to—"

"hanbin" y/n whispers, cutting into his sentence. "it's okay, you don't have to constantly pretend to be okay, you shouldn't have to feel like you need to hide how you truly feel".

hanbin bites his inner cheek, y/n isn't done talking yet. "that's not being a bad leader, you already are a good leader, whoever tells your not, clearly has no idea what your talking about".

at the words, hanbin gives a small smile, they somehow calm his nerves, and y/n brushes his hair out of his face. "i like your smile".

hanbin chuckles, looking away as his face goes red. "really?"

"yes, and your dimples" y/n states, poking his cheek as hanbin laughs and turns away once again.

y/n opens the door, guiding hanbin into their shared room and to his bed. hanbin pauses, and y/n raises an eyebrow.

"what?"

"i.. i can't go back to sleep".

y/n clicks his tongue, and hanbin sits on his bed sighing. he watches as y/n reaches towards his own nightstand and takes out his phone, scrolling through it, like he was looking for something.

"here you go" hanbin's eyes flicker down to his phone, and y/n takes out his earphones as he plugs them into the phone. "to help you sleep".

y/n shifts forward, helping hanbin put them on himself. "just listen to this".

hanbin blinks, listening as seasons by wave to the earth begins playing through the earphones. he feels extremely loved, and y/n smiles as he notices hanbin relax.

"thank you" hanbin mumbles, a smile coming to his face as y/n just nods, pressing a kiss to his forehead.

"don't worry about the two youngest" y/n reminds him. "i'll wake them up in the morning, you get your sleep okay?"

hanbin seems to want to hesitate, but y/n gives him a 'you better not disagree' look, and he nods.

"good night, hanbin".

"good night, y/n".

for once, hanbin can sleep comfortably.

All right, so this works best if it takes place during boys planet.

Soo basically Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin are obviously pinning for each other.

And basically Hao is ranting to one of his friends about his crush on Hanbin.

Someone overhears the conversation and is so shocked by the revelation that they reveal themselves.

So Hao is hella embarrassed about the conversation and gets super worried about his feeling being exposed.

He’s tries to deny his crush to that person, but they don’t believe him.

So his plan of action—

So since he’s under all this stress and pressure, he tries to cover it up by accidentally saying he actually has a crush on PARK Hanbin.

Hoping that it would throw the person off and that they would forget about it.

But the next thing you know rumors spiral—

And now, like all of Boys Planet thinks that Hao has a huge crush on Park Hanbin 😂 (except his friends, who know the truth)

What makes the story hilarious how confused everyone would be!!

Because everyone thought that SHanbin and Hao we’re already dating or on the verge of dating because of how they act around each other and how close they are.
