Warlock baby’s magic latched on to them so now Magnus is stuck trying to find out how to break the bond without falling for the shadowhunter first

Magnus puts on his battle jewelry, snapping poison-laden cuffs onto his wrists and switching out his passive healing piercings for his warding ones. He places a ring on every finger and snaps a belt over his leather pants before he steps through his portal to meet the werewolves.

His magic is coiled tightly around him, prepared to shield him against what will most likely be a trap. It weaves around the two werewolves that meet them, testing them and protecting them in a single breath.

Magnus readies himself for the sight that might greet him, prepares himself to see small hands bruised and broken. To see a hundred seraph blades appear when he gets within the shadowhunter's line of sight. To see blood.

He doesn't expect to see a bright-blue newborn giggling and laughing as the shadowhunter that holds the child makes funny faces at them.

i just finished the first episode of asiasuperyoung and aaah!! the show is very promising 🥹 the episodes are pretty short compared to bp considering they’re just over an hour, but the episode is paced very well! i HATE rain but i love all the other judges, so i’ll put up with him i guess…

i love how you can hear ollie in the background the whole time, cheering for the others and hyping them up 🥹 my boy is such a cutie patootie i love him!!

An up-and-coming wip: I hesitated about which one I would choose, but given I know you like AWG I ended up choosing the unicorn fic! This idea sprouted because of @kalalab being evil and giving me more and more plot bunnies as I go. The fic follows up on the promise Alec made to Max about how he would be allowed to try and feed strawberries to any unicorns if he finds them because Magnus told him they generally don't like them.

Of course, Max being Max - he isn't going to wait for a unicorn to just appear. No, he's going to go LOOK for one, and the trainee outing they have planned is the perfect opportunity to do so if you ask him.

"And the backpacks?" he asks with a tired sigh, throwing a look at the brand-new backpacks all of the trainees are sporting. Each one of them is so perfectly thought out, so perfectly tailored to the trainees' interests - a Batman backpack with sharks and cartoon characters for Max, a white backpack with sparkly butterflies and fuzzy, blue sharks for Madzie, a waffle with an alien drawn on it for Keith, and a black dragon holding a medal for Arjun - that they could only have been made through magic. Magnus really has to stop spoiling their trainees so much. "They're for the strawberries!" Rara explains loudly, taking her fuzzy, unicorn backpack off of her back to show the three different boxes of strawberries she's put in it. "We also have apples," she whispers behind her hand as if revealing an important secret, "for if the unicorns really don't like strawberries."

so for minnowmouse (a personal fav absolute background relationship of mine) i like to think that INITIALLY the df was proposed to them as a space for them to meet without getting caught- plus less walking, it’s not like thunder and river are easy to sneak to

most likely some background ancient df warrior got them together, like snowtuft or houndleap or something. a cat who they’ve never heard of and have no reason to distrust, maybe even further convincing them they’re in the right. after all, if starclan themselves are helping out their relationship, it must be okay, right?

but then their df sponsors start to manipulate them. feeding into their anger, their ambition, their disillusionment. which eventually leads to them spending more time in training sessions than with each other as the df further takes hold

I'm definitely going to use the reasoning that the Dark Forest is a place they can easily meet-- but I'm looking for a secondary motivation as well. The Lake Map is reworked giving them a place they actually can sneak to (when RiverClan controls the northern delta), and besides... meeting in HELL sounds like it's kind of a bad plan.

Unless they were tricked like Crookedjaw into thinking the DF cats were StarClan warriors but... I don't think either one of them is naiive enough, especially not Mousewhisker.

I do like the idea of giving them a sort of 'Patron' though, like the way Ivypool has Hawkfrost as a mentor. Maybe it was Mapleshade herself? She'd be good at convincing them that it's fine they're seeing each other, by citing how the tragedy of her kittens caused the Code to change.

They would have Mapleshade as their patron, and then they'd either both get battle mentors or just have an extra in addition to Mapleshade. In this rewrite, Frecklewish, Oakstar, Ravenwing, AND Appledusk are all in the DF, I should pick one or two of them as irony.

(and also to show that there are lots of different cats in the dark forest, not all of them there for fair reasons.)

Have you heard that the series ‘we are’ will be released on April 3 and the trailer on March 20? 😬 it's too rushed if you ask me. Why this quickly?!? They’re not even done with filming while ‘the trainee’ is already done with filming months ago?!? I feel this show gonna be a mess

yeah I've heard... I honestly can't wrap my head around how they've managed to refilm & edit all of pawin's scenes in like one month but we shall see how it is I guess 😆 tbh the plot of this show was already v basic & almost non-existent so I already didn't have high hopes so yeah... it's definitely a show that's gonna be carried by its cast & pairings and that's fine. hopefully the result is better than expected from the mock trailer but seeing the whole mess behind the scenes I have my doubts... it'll still be a popular though so they have nothing to worry about. as for the trainee, I'm SO glad it's not airing yet lol, as I said before I still wanna enjoy the cooking crush era a little while longer & also this particular production company gmmtv is working with tends to spend a lot of post production time. guess we are is a show that is able to be released while still filming, but honestly so did not me & it's the greatest show of all time so I don't think it's necessarily an indicator of quality. we shall wait & see ✨️
