There’s something so poetic about how Ivan didn’t think he’d be a trauma to Till, but then Round 7 showed that’s all he ended up being.

And by “poetic,” I mean “really fucking heartbreaking.”

Like, yes, Sua is most definitely a source of trauma for Mizi, but she’s also the source of a lot of good memories and a source of love.

Ivan wasn’t (or at least didn’t seem to be) a source of any of that for Till.

I think Ivan recognized that he hurt Till when they were growing up.

Not anything earth shattering or irredeemable, but that he wasn’t the nicest (he even acknowledges this in the ‘thank you for being a victim of my shallow emotions’ comic).

And he knew Till was already hurting after Mizi’s disappearance, plus what happened at the club, so he probably didn’t want to add to that.

Sacrificing himself in Round 6 solved two problems (in Ivan’s mind): Till would get to live, and Ivan couldn’t hurt him anymore. Bonus points for the sacrifice acting as an apology and a confession.

But even in death, Ivan still hurt Till.

Luka used the trauma of his death against Till. That’s one of the biggest reasons why Till lost.

Knowing that was the last thing Ivan wanted makes it so much worse.

It’s like hurting Till is this constant he can’t escape from.

Dead or alive.

ok i’m still on my buckymel bullshit ok i’m gonna rant

THE ONLY REASON that people don’t ship buckymel is because mel is a brown woman and bucky is a hot white guy. it’s so obvious that the movie was giving us fanfic bucky with her, with the “where’s mel” line + bucky immediately trying to attack valentina after she didn’t respond, bucky trying to save mel at the beginning because he knew she was just valentina’s lackey, the PHONE CALL!! they were so obviously meant to be romantic.

The only reason ppl on tiktok and the rest of the internet don’t think so IS because of racism. It’s in the more subtle way, in that they don’t believe that a brown woman should be with bucky over a white one (because how could a brown woman be better than a white one??). AND before you guys say something abt sarah (sam’s sister), you can tell he was trying to get on sam’s nerves by saying that line, and either way, bucky and sarah’s interaction was like 2 secs long. Bucky and Mel’s interactions in this movie IS a pretty big opening plot point, because it’s showing bucky as the good guy, BUT also is obviously meant to be a romantic side plot.

Another reason why i think it’s subtle racism that the main reason ppl think buckymel are “father daughter” or “siblings” is because of the age gap, and the fact that bucky is technically 110 ?? guys he’s not actually an old man he was frozen for majority of those years hello let’s use our thinking caps. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY there are SO MANY ppl who ship romanogers in the mcu. They would have the same age gap as buckymel (40 and 100 vs. 30 and 110) and NOBODY says shit to romanogers fans abt that?? AND bucky went on a date in TFATWS, and nobody said shit abt them not having any romantic tension bcuz of their age gap

Ooohh, ok but how does Viktor end up in the  morgue anyway?? Is he ill in this au? Or was it an explosion/lab accident? Oof, if the later Jayce was probably there when it happened a felt Viktor die in his arms.

Also… ghost!Sky got me thinking that she’s been haunting the academy science building for years after dying in her own ‘lab accident’ after school hours. But due to her lack of family it was never fully investigated and swept under the rug.

So when she sees her dear Viktor die in a similar way, she would do everything in her ghostly power to take him back to his body and jump start him.

viktor definitely is ill in this au, but it’s a modern au so he’d have better health than he does in canon cuz like. i guarantee you at least one doctor in piltover suggested bloodletting and modern medicine is at least better than that, but my goal with everything is to make it as funny and silly as possible, so:

viktor died by accident while trying to repair jayce’s ghost vacuum. logically, he probably shouldn’t have, since it’s literally just a vacuum, but sky’s soul leaving him and trying to get back inside was such a sudden shock to the senses that he just had a heart attack and died instantly.

yes jayce was there, yes he did spend the entire half hour before the ambulance arrived sobbing profusely while trying to do cpr, yes he did apologize to viktor’s corpse for breaking his ribs, yes he is scarred for life even after viktor revives

as for ghost sky, my first thought for her death was a scooby doo style ‘found-out-the-owner-of-a-supposedly-real-ghost-manor-was-totally-faking-it-and-got-murdered-to-hide-the-secret’ death, but that’s mostly because it’s funny and i’m not sure to what degree they’d be scientists in this au? like, obviously they do science at least a little, but i haven’t decided if it’s a hobby or a day job yet. if i do decide they’re scientists though, yeah, sky ABSOLUTELY died in a lab accident.

as for reviving him, i was thinking it’d be an empathy thing? like, when sky died, viktor was WRECKED and was really struggling to mourn, especially since she was his only zaunite friend in piltover and losing her really meant he was alone, and jayce comforted viktor through it and helped to get revenge by proving the ghosts were fake and getting her murderer arrested, so when viktor died and she had to see jayce go through the same things vik did, she thought “well, if jayce was a ghost he would probably sell his soul to revive me if it meant viktor wouldn’t suffer, so i guess i’ll do him a favour.”

Corvus wants to marry Soren, so he makes them marriage necklaces because his parents had them. Corvus even goes as far as to ask Rayla for her blessing of marrying Soren because his Mom asked his Mamas parents for their blessing. He has it all planned out because he wants it to be special for Soren.

But one day they're both just laying in bed. Well Soren is laying in bed, Corvus is sitting up and reading a book. It's their day off so they're just enjoying each other's company. Soren is just watching Corvus read, he just woke up. Corvus probably already knows and is just letting him slowly wake up and Soren doesn't mind, he enjoys watching Corvus simply exist.

But there is something that Soren has been thinking about, something that he wants so desperately. Soren wants to marry Corvus. The thought first appeared when Soren woke up before Corvus and saw the man sleeping so peacefully. And it was running circles around his head as he watched Corvus read.

"Will you marry me?"

The question came out quietly but Corvus still heard it. Soren didn't even mean to say it aloud, not yet at least. But it didn't matter, it's out in the open and he wants to know Corvus' answer. Corvus can only stare, he's been planning on asking Soren for so long. Like stated before, he had everything planned out. Yet somehow, Soren managed to beat him to the punch. Just like when they first got together,

Corvus had a whole plan on asking Soren to be his. Soren asked first, they were in a similar situation to now. They were just relaxing together and Soren just asked, there was no build up, nothing to indicate that Soren was going to ask. Soren just asked and waited for a response.

Much like now, he's staring at Corvus and simply waiting for an answer. Corvus can only get out a weak, "huh?" which causes Soren to push himself up into a sitting position. Corvus set his book down, giving Soren his full attention. Corvus was going to say yes but his mouth was faster than his brain in that moment.

"We can get married if we want to and I want to marry you. Do you wanna marry me?"

It was a simple but honest explanation. Soren stared at Corvus much like a cat that gave its owner a mouse and was now waiting for a response of any kind.

"I do want to marry you."

So. Turns out that the only way I am able to cut a straight edge on my hand-bound notebooks is to actively try cutting an edge so crooked, so grotesquely slanted it would reduce St. Bartholomew* to a sobbing mess.

Took me the better part of 4 months and one of those near delirious „what the hell! I might as well do the exact opposite of what every tutorial is telling me!“ moments.

I’m sure there’s a fundamental life lesson to be learned here but I‘m too busy cackling like a mad scientist.
