but imagine the reviews for Aziraphale’s book shop. So many one stars.
Everyone would be complaining about the open hours, and how whenever they tried to buy a book, the owner shot them such an enraged look that they ran out, terrified.
Some guy would be trying to argue with Aziraphale, and tell him that it’s “a terrible way to run a business, really, I mean—how do you even keep this place open?” and then Aziraphale would smile passive aggressively and hand him some cookies he miracled into existence before sending him off.
But then there would be one person who just LOVED it there. They would come there with their own books to read, and chat with Aziraphale about history and books. And then they’d meet Crowley one day and ask Aziraphale quietly: “Is that your husband?”
And Aziraphale would become very flustered, say yes by ‘accident’, and then shoo them off with a warm cup of tea and a muffin.
basically, just people being friends with Aziraphale while everyone else thinks of him as a terrible business man and a very rude person. People walking by, trying to go inside, just to see the closed sign is up, so they peer through the window, see someone browsing, and they’re like “what the fuck??”
but it’s just Aziraphale’s friend who likes to look at the books.

Part 3
Joy. How can someone feel joy in a moment like this? He could ask himself that, but he doesn't. Because he knows why. He'd like to ask a hundred questions right now, but he knows he can't. There's more important things to do. There will be time for that later, say Aziraphale's eyes.
Crowley nods slightly, now hopeful. He felt the chains disappear as soon as The Metatron turned to the angel. Now it's his turn.
"In my defense, this is the only place I could think of", he says as soon as they appear in their usual meeting spot: the lake.
"You couldn't think about the bench?" Asks the angel as they walk out of the water. Some ducks run away from them, while others approach, curious.
Crowley chuckles. "I thought about ducks."
"You really have a problem with those." The angel is trying to act pissed off, but the demon knows very well that he's trying to contain his laugh.
With a single snap, Crowley miracles their clothes dry (and his sunglasses are back too). "And now what?"
"You're not gonna like it." The demon looks at the angel, cocking an eyebrow. "We have to talk to Her."

i am mad at aziraphale HOWEVER i know it is not their fault. metatron looked at the absolute mess than is crowley and zira over the years and knew in their evil little heart every button to push so zira would leap at the opportunity - “oh your the clear choice for the job” “oh we need you” “oh you can take your demon with you” - he knew how to get zira to think this is the way to let him and crowley finally be together. aziraphale is so holy and good even outside of being an angel, and lets be so real heaven is so horrible and mildly culty, of course hes not gonna just be able to walk out. crowley was cast out for asking questions, but he didnt leave by himself and i dont blame zira in the end for it. i knew no bitch with the name metatron could be good

This is Gilan. He is my tree husband. I named him Gilan after Gilan. How surprising. When I was in intermediate I liked this tree and I ended up marrying him. There was a very special ceremony. My friend married another tree a little bit further down from this one and her name is Jill, even though I call her Jenny.
I also ended up marrying my friend Jay and my friend Pepper under this tree. That was a better proper wedding. My friend was going to be the best man but he was too busy climbing a volcano so Gilan did it instead.
And the principle found out about it.
I used to read under this tree all the time. I would read Ranger's Apprentice books under Gilan, and one time some people walking past the school saw me and said I looked pretty.
Anyway I went on a walk because I saw lots of smoke and wanted to see if there was a fire. Then I ended up going on a really long tiring walk all around the place and I passed the school and saw Gilan through the gate.
He is my darling. I miss him. I want to hug my boy.
My precious Gilan.

Honestly, having Cantonese in Good Omens S2 was so personal and nice because it was my first language and even though it was brief, seeing Aziraphale (attempt to?) speak it made me love him even more
