Hello, hello!
Time to continue. I’ll post 2 parts again, so lets begin..
First one :)
CALL OF THE RAVEN
PART 11
Jessy came to Aurora shortly after, finding Phil and me sitting in the booth laughing and chatting. „You two are awfully cheerful.“ She said nearing us. „Hey Jessy“ i chimed back cheerfully „Well, Phil is a good company, how not to be cheerful.“ Phil grinned at her, wich made her look both of us skeptical „Yeah, yeah, if you say so.“ „Aww, sys,  dont be so cruel.“ He teased her. She made a face at him, turning to me „You ready? Im starving!“ „Ready“ i told her, taking my stuff and getting up. „Cya, Phil, thanks for everything.“ I said, smiling at him. „No worries, Maya, glad we talked. Dont be a stranger.“ He said, winking at me as he got up and went towards the bar. „What was that all about?“ Jessy asked as we left the Aurora. „Oh, nothing really.“ I replied, wich made her look at me with doubt. I quickly tried to change the subject „So, where are you taking me for lunch?“ i asked, grabing her under her arm. „I tought some junk food is what we need after last nigh, hamburgers and fries might be a good choice.“ She grined. „I totally agree.“ We walked to the hamburger place, wich wasnt far from Aurora. We sat at one of the tables, and ordered some food. As we waited for it, she told  me how Dan managed to wake up just before she left, begging her to drive his car back, and bring him some food. „He can really drive me crazy sometimes!“ she told me. „Aww, c'mon, thats why you like him.“ I teased, and she laughed. Our food arrived, and we started eating. After a while, i finaly told her, between my bites „I saw Jake last night.“ Jessy almost spat her drink. „What?“ she almost screamed „What? Where? Talk!“ I told her all about it, from the hoodie part, to where i left him standing. When i was done i added desperately „I messed up everything again, Jessy. I didnt hear him out, i was just so tired and frustrated.“ I sighed tiredly „Why is it always so hard with him?“ i paused before i said, sadness creeping in my voice „I just dont know how much more i can go on like this.“ Jessy looked at me, sympathy and care all over her face „I know, Maya. Its hard sometimes, God only knows how much.“ She started „Im just gonna say one thing. Just be totally sure you tried everything there is to get to the bottom of things with him, to be on the clear, once and for all.“ She paused before continuing „I can see how much it pains you, and i see you really care for Jake.“ „I do, Jessy, more then you can imagine. But im tired, so tired of constant fights with him, and not getting anywhere.“ „I know. And i really hope you will resolve it soon.“ She looked at me, giving me a reasuring smile „In the mean time, you can talk to me whenever you need a shoulder to cry on.“ I smiled „Thanks, Jessy. I really appriciate it, you have no idea how much it means to me. Im really greatful to have you in my life.“ She looked at me, took my hand and squeezed it „Im here for whatever.“ We continued with our food. When we wer nearly done, she oredered some food to take for Dan, and when it was done, we payed and left. As we walked back to the Auroras parking, Jessy asked me, all serious „Maya, what's going on with you and Phil?“ I looked at her „Aghh, its complicated.“ She stoped walking, and i did the same „Dont get me wrong, its non of my business“ she started „But to be honest, i've never seen Phil act like this, towards anyone. I think he's really into you, and, well, with all thats happening with Jake..“ „Dont worry, Jessy“ i said „I actually had a long conversation with Phil about all this earlier.“ She looked surprised „He knows  about Jake?“ „Not exactly. I didnt mention Jake per se, but he knows something is happening.“ I paused before continuing „I like Phil, Jessy, and he knows it. But we came to a mutual understnding about it all, so noone could get hurt in any of this mess.“ She continued walking „Aright, thats good. He is a jerk sometimes, but he's my brother, and i do wish him well.“ „I know, Jessy, and trust me, i dont want for anyone to get hurt here. I hope all will get in the clear soon.“ „I hope so too, Maya“ she said, as we came to Dans car „I really hope so, for both your sake, and the others.“ She gave me a tight hug, before entering the car, and smiled „Im here if you need me.“ „Thanks , Jessy, same here.“ She started the car, honking as she drow off , me waving her as i entered my car. Driving to the motel i tought about all that Jessy told me. I hoped she was right, and things will get clear soon. I really was torn inside. I had some decisions to make, and not an easy ones. And i was scared.
When i got back to the motel i realized i left everything in such a mess, and decided to clean it. I collected the sutff  thrown all over the floor. I grabed Jakes hoodie, burrying my face again in it and taking a deep breath. Damn, i tought, i wish i could talk to him, i need to know what will be with us. If there even is a possibilty of 'us'. And all that was going on with Phil was making me confused. My phone rang then, and i quickly put the hoodie on me before answering it. I checked the caller, it showed no number.. Could it be Jake? Then again, why would he hide his number? I answered the call „Hello?“ but there wasnt any replie. I said 'hello' few more times, before whoever was on the other side ended the call. Strange,i  tought, but decided to ignore it, someone probably just dialed the wrong number. I continued with cleaning, realizing i should get some laundrey done. I saw a self-service laundrey in town, i should wisit it tomorrow. When i was done, i decided to try and do some work. I sat at the table, opening my laptop, putting some music on. It always helped me while working, and this time wasnt any different. At some point, i checked my phone ,it was past midnight. Nice, i managed to finish on the project i took, without any interruption. I closed the laptop and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. As i got to bed, i thought of Jake again. I hoped we would talk soon, i meant what i said to Jessy earlier, i really didnt know how much more i can go on like this. I sighed, closed my eyes, wishing sleep comes fast.
When i woke up i felt quite rested. Even tho my mind was a complete mess, i had a good night sleep. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed. I took the laundrey, grabed the car keys and my purse and headed for town. I parked near the self-service laundry place and took the stuff from the car. Putting the laundrey to be washed, i decided to go for coffe while it wasnt finished. I left the laundrey place, and walked to the coffee shop near by. I sat at the table outside, and ordered myself a big coffee and a toasted sandwich, might as well get some breakfast since im here. I took my phone out checking for some more work and found few interesting ones. Some alone time just working might be what i need now. I checked the news feeds and mail while drinking coffe. Jessy called at some point, telling she will be going to her sister for a few days, apologizing for leaving me on my own. I told her not to be silly, that i'd be working mostly eitherway, so she felt a bit less guilty about it. She promised we'll meet as soon as she's back, wich i acceptet cheerfuly. I was done with coffee so i paid and left. I collected my laundrey, deciding to get some stuff from the store before heading back to the motel, so not to do unnecessary trips to towns center every little while working. When i was done, i got all the stuff and headed back to the motel. I putted the stuff away, and clean laundrey in the closet. I went out of the room to get some ice from the machine by the entrance to the motels office. When i got back, i poured a drink  and took my phone. There was a missed call on it, and the number was hidden. Again? What the heck, i tought. Work was calling, so i dismissed it from my toughts, and focused them on working instead. I worked till late again, before deciding i had enouhg, chrasing to bed.
The next day i spent most of it working. I stopped only to eat and drink something in peace, and i took a short walk to stretch my legs a bit. I took a shower before going to bed, luling my self to sleep with some movie on the tv.
On the next morning, after i got up, i decided to quickly go to town for some fresh coffee. I drove to town, stoping at the caffee and getting myself the biggest 'coffee to go' they had, heading back to the motel. I got back to working, but was interupted by my phone ringing after a while. I checked the phone, and smiled when i saw who the caller was. „Well, if it isnt my favorite barkeep!“ i cheerfully said in my phone. „Hello gorgeous.“ Phil answered me. „Where you hiding at?“ he asked. „Oh, im at the motel. Working my ass off.“ I told him. „I'v been lazy with it lately, so it's taking its tol on me now.“ „Aww, sorry to hear that.“ He said „But, even so, you need to take a break. Bring that pretty ass of yours to Aurora tomorrow night, we'r having a party!“ he said cheerfully, and before i could even start to protest „And i'm not taking a 'no' for an answer here!“ „Aww, c'mon Phil, thats not fair.“ i started teasingly „You took all the fun out of it! I'm good at protesting!“ He laughed „I bet you are. So, see you tomorrow?“ „Ofcourse.“ I said, adding „Hey, Phil, whats the party for, by the way?“ „Oh, right, i keep forgeting you're not from around here.“ He said. „And i tought Jessy might already told you.“ „Nop, she didnt tell me anything, and since she is with your sister, we havent really spoken much these last few days.“ „Ahh, i see.“ He said „Well, in that case, it's the Aurora's opening day anniversary, and its pretty packed for that night, with drinks being cheeper. So be sure to come early, i'll save you a seat at the bar.“ „Thanks, Phil. I'll bring myself and my pretty ass then.“ I said teasingly „Thats the spirit!“ He chimed. „Alrighty“ i said. „See you tomorrow, then.“ „Cant wait.“ He said „Laters, Maya.“ That migt be fun, i tought. And if im lucky, i might finish with work by tomorrow morning, so some fun would be like a reward for it. I continued working, and was happy that i actually finished before i tought i would.I  checked the time. It was almost 3 in the morning! Ohh, guess i would sleep till late again tomorrow. And i didnt mind. The work was done, i had nowhere to rush, some sleep will do me good. I crushed to bed, burrying myself under the covers, sleep coming almost instantly at me.

Tumblr media
The police officer led you into the station and ordered you to sit in the hard metal chair next to his desk. The man sat down across from you, informing you that he was going to call your father as he picked up the phone.
You nodded absentmindedly, not really listening to what the cop was saying- you already knew what was going to happen.
You swallowed dryly, knowing that you had screwed up. You gripped the chair tightly, your nails digging into the cushion, as you strained to hear the conversation.
Maybe, just maybe Dean would be the one to pick up.
“Hello, is this Mr. Winchester?” The officer said as someone picked up the phone.
“Yes, can I help you?” John responded impatiently.
Your heart dropped immediately recognizing your father’s impatient and irritated tone.
“Yes,” The officer glanced over at you as he explained, “I’m calling about an issue concerning your daughter, Y/N, she’s gotten herself in some trouble. We’ve decided to let her off with a warning, but we still need you to come down to the station,”
Your grip on the chair tightened as you waited to hear your father’s response.
Nothing.
“Sir?” The officer asked.
“I’ll be there in a few minutes,” John said coldly.
You winced, you could already tell, he was furious.
“Thank you, sir-" Click. John hung up. The officer pulled the phone back, a little surprised that the man had just hung up on him like that. He shook it off and turned back to you, “Your father will be here soon,”
You nodded silently, mentally cursing yourself for getting caught.
It was stupid.
All you had been trying to do was get your little brother Dean a gift for his birthday.
A stupid car magazine and a candy bar.
A lame excuse for a present, it wasn’t even a good gift- you had no clue what normal 9 year old boys liked to do for fun, but it didn’t matter because neither did Dean.
It was a dumb thing to do, and you knew that Dean wasn’t expecting anything, but you had felt bad. This year, John hadn’t even mentioned Dean’s birthday- he must’ve of forgotten. When the cashier saw you walk out of the store with a candy bar sticking out of your back pocket and a copy of Car and Driver Magazine stuffed not-so-discreetly under your t-shirt, he yelled for you to stop. You got scared and you ran, so he called the cops.
It wasn’t like you hadn’t stolen anything before, but this time had been different.
The things you usually stole were always necessary. Just a few pieces of bread or an apple or two so you and your brothers could get by while your father was on a hunt.
You looked up at the sound of the door swinging open. Your father strode in and you immediately dropped your eyes back to the floor, not daring to look at him. He nodded emotionlessly to the officer a a greeting, sitting himself into the seat next to you.
“I’m afraid I caught your daughter stealing from the market on the corner earlier today,”
John stayed silent as the officer explained.
“I’ve spoke to her, and we both think a warning is sufficient enough-”
“What did she steal?” John questioned, interrupting the officer.
“A candy bar and and a magazine,” the man responded, seemly a little intimidated by John.
You didn’t look up, but you could feel your father’s angry glare burning into your back, “So, it’s just a warning- does that mean I can take her home now?” John asked, already standing up.
“Umm-“ The officer’s hesitation received an intimidating stare from John. The officer shifted uncomfortably, loosening his collar, “Uh, Y-yes, you’re both free to go. Just no more warnings,”
You nodded, but you weren’t really listening to what the man was saying. You were trying to prepare yourself for the punishment you were going to face when you got back to the motel room.
John put his hand on your shoulder, guiding you out the door and into the Impala. He didn’t say anything on the ride back to the motel. He stared straight ahead, his knuckles turning white as he harshly gripped his steering wheel. He skidded into the parking lot and turned the Impala off. He opened the door, not even glancing your way, “Get inside,” he ordered.
You did as you were told, following him into the dirty motel room. Sam sat quietly coloring while Dean stood at the little table pouring cereal into two bowls he had set out for him and his little brother.
“Dad!” Sam called, a smile across his face.
John didn’t even glance towards him, he stared down at Dean sternly, “Take your brother and leave. Y/N and I are going to have a talk,”
Dean gave you a concerned look, “Dad, I just make me and Sammy dinner-” It was a flimsy excuse, but he tried to help you.
“I said get out.” John repeated, more force behind his words this time.
“Y-Yes sir,” Dean nodded, quickly dragging Sam outside with him.
The second the door shut, John turned, glaring down at you, “You interrupted my hunt,” he said coldly.
You opened your mouth, trying to find anything to say to calm your father down.
“You could’ve been arrested- you could’ve gotten me arrested,” he barked, taking a step towards you. “All for a fucking candy bar and a dumb magazine?” He fumed. You winced when he took another step towards you.
You stumble over your words, “I was... I just wanted to-“ John smacked his hand across your cheek. You stopped mid-sentence, feeling the hot sting on your face. You winced, your hand immediately reaching to the spot he hit.
“Do you really think I care?” He snarled and you took a step back, refusing to let the tears welling in your eyes fall.
You didn’t respond- afraid that if you said anything you’d only end up saying something that would make it worse for you.
He lunged forward, shoving you backwards, hard. You stumbled back, your hands flailing around as they tried to find something to stop your fall. You fell onto the ground, smacking your head on the dusty couch on the way down.
“I asked you a question!” John roared. You held your breath, trying to forget about the splitting pain in your head as you looked up at your father towering above you.
“No,” you shook your head, “No-No Sir,” you quickly corrected. You pulled your hand away from your throbbing temple, grimacing when you saw blood.
Your father didn’t seem to care, “If you ever get caught doing anything like that again, you’re out,” he said, his glare never faltering.
“I’m out?” You asked cautiously, still careful to not upset him.
“Out of the family,” he said bluntly, “I’ll take Sam and Dean and leave you wherever you stand,”
You knew your father could be harsh, but this was a whole other level. You wanted to scream at him and hit him back, but you found yourself nodding and replying, “Yes Sir,” in a hallow voice.
He ordered you to clean yourself up, muttering something about going to get a drink before he left the room and your brothers ran back inside.
You turned away, trying to hide the cut on your head and the red handprint across your cheek.
“Y/N/N, Com’ere,” Dean said, taking a few steps towards you.
You didn’t face him. You didn’t want to worry him, you were fine. Dean grabbed your shoulder, forcing you to face him.
His eyes filled with pity for you as he looked at your wounds, “Sammy, get a washcloth and some water,” Dean told him as he continued inspecting your face.
You watched him, the worry and anger etched into his small face. He was only nine years old, but he was aged well beyond his years, “Dean, it’s not that bad,” you pushed his hand away, but he ignored your protests and started wiping away some of the blood with the washcloth Sam had retrieved.
“What happened?” Sam asked curiously, looking up at you with wide eyes.
“Nothing Sammy,” you and Dean said in unison.
“But-“
“Go to bed Sammy, I need to talk to Y/N/N,” Dean ordered.
The two of you sat in silence for a few moments as dean continued to work on your face. He wiped across one of the cuts on your face, causing you to wince.
“Sorry,” Dean apologized as he kept working.
You shook your head, laughing a little to yourself, “You know, I’m the big sister. I’m supposed to be taking care of you and Sammy, not the other way around,”
“You take care of us enough,” Dean assured, “We’ve gotta be ther for you too,” the room fell back into silence besides Sam’s soft snoring. “What’s Dad mad about this time?” Dean said quietly after a few moments.
You sighed as Dean finished bandaging the last cut on your face, “I screwed up... I almost got arrested,”
Dean furrowed his brows, “What’d you do? Did you steal something? I thought we had enough food-”
“We do. I just,” you sighed, “I was trying to get you a birthday present. I mean, dad hadn’t said anything about it all day so I just figured he forgot. It was just a car magazine and a candy bar, but wanted to at least try to make it a little special for you,”
Guilt washed over Dean’s face, “Y/N, I didn’t need anything I-”
“Dean, I know,” you said giving him a soft smile, “And this isn’t your fault, it’s mine for getting caught and it’s dad’s for being such an asshole,”
Deans eyes widened at the word, not used to hearing you speak poorly about your father.
You sighed bringing your hand up to cup his face, “Dont worry Dean, one day I’ll get us out of here. Me, you, and Sammy can get our own place that isn’t some nasty motel and we can do whatever we want. No hunts, no danger, no drunk dad, just us. And we can be happy,”
Dean nodded, a smile spreading across his face at the thought.
“Happy Birthday Dean,” you whispered pulling your younger brother into a tight hug.
“Thanks Y/N,” he said, wrapping his arms around your neck and laying his head down on your shoulder.

Hogwarts! Seungkwan
anon requested: "i love your hogwarts scenarios! can you also do one for seungkwan? thank you!!"
all you have to do is imagine second year Seungkwan bouncing around the train
desperately searching for the “candy lady”
what an absolute cutie
until there’s suddenly a flaming wiggly shape in the horse carriage
freakin Boo Seungkwan at his finest acting like he’s kwon fire
a mess
at least he’s a cute mess
and his Hufflepuff self clinging to Vernon for help
the both of them freaking out about an owl sized fire
“DIDN’T YOU LEARN LAST YEAR?”
“UM NO”
and it takes a whole 30 seconds for them to realize there’s also a water spell like smh lol
halfblood so like he knew the houses and stuff
even though he didn’t look it, very very nervous on sorting day
after all, he was like a small halfblood wizard from a small island with a long generations of Boos behind him
not to mention he was second
“gosh couldn’t there be more Ahns born in our year” he whispers to Vernon
to which the latter raises his hands above his head
“I’m a Chwe so..”
and approximately 17 seconds after the hat touch his head, Boo Seungkwan was declared Hufflepuff
now who said Hufflepuffs can’t be funny, sarcastic, and loud
no one never after hearing this kid
legit the class clown, everything he does will go down in history
like that one time he got dared to superglue the potions professor’s things to his desk
“WHO DID THIS HUH?” that one teacher who looks hilarious when mad, trying to pry the chalk off the desk
and Seungkwans that bright kid who giggles while raising his hand
though whining while cleaning everyday for the next month, but happily singing trot songs loudly
not really ‘best in the class type’ haha
so some teachers actually lowkey dislike him but they don’t wanna get pranked so
he’s really the ‘im good in every class if i study and take notes but i fall asleep one day and im FREAKED’
to which he figured this out in his first year
him panicking, running through the school blindly looking for Vernon
probably passing Vernon multiple times, who was just bopping his head to a song blasting through his head phones
but this is how he meets Joshua,
leaning up against the common room wall panting when he feels a light tap on the shoulder and looks up into an eye smile
“are you okay?”
“HYUNGGGGGGGGGG”
Joshua’s sweet soul who spends the rest of the night tutoring him, but Joshua does not do people’s work
and Joshua’s like the only tutor Seungkwan will ever have that doesn’t make him wanna pull his hair out
or roast them
but honestly Seungkwan has the biggest heart ever
Christmas is the best time of year and don’t argue with him on this unless you wanna BOX
extra af and wears a Santa Claus hat the entire month which all the teachers ignore
and the get up he comes up with this year
lots of people went home for the holidays but not Seungkwan as he lives far
so that Christmas morning at breakfast waltzes in proudly wearing a Santa onesie
with a sack thrown over shoulder, filled with gifts
and Vernon next to him dying of laughter
the entire hall clapping excitingly and giggling as Seungkwan spreads his arms out
“ho ho ho”
through all the excitement ,,, leaves the sack under the table too busy arguing with Vernon and Minghao about who won the pie eating competition
you happen to have slightly over slept that morning
completely forgetting it was Christmas morning too focused on food
until your eyes meet the brightly decorated hall walking to your Gryffindor table and sitting down
happily swinging your feet back and forth until you accidentally kick something
quickly realizing omg it’s Seungkwan bag from last year
you weren’t really close to him, maybe had a couple conversations,
that one time you guys were dying of laughter in class bc you caught him trying to stick sticky notes on Vernon’s back
but that’s it
being kinda nosy you can’t help but peek
its so cute
the bag’s filled with okay wrapped boxes, in vibrant red, green, blue, and yellow
secretly you take something from your bag, add a note, and drop it in
smiling to yourself, you pick up the bag and head to the Hufflepuff common room, where you knew his group of friends were spending the morning together
from overhearing a conversation of course, they aren’t the quietest people lol
thankfully your eyes meet a panicking Seungkwan and his friends in front of the entrance
“Heyyyy Seungkwan”
“Oh! y/n~” his expression immediately changes to a happy one
“Merry Christmas!” you laugh, handing him the sack, making him realize you had it
“Merr- YOU FOUND IT”
he dramatically engulfs the sack into a hug making you giggle
“since it’s Christmas, i’ll let it slide, be more careful next time yeah?” you joke
he chuckles, “i will i will”
he pauses, “oh? where are all your friends at?”
tucking your hair behind your ears, you smile softly
“most of my friends went home for the holiday, and my one Slytherin friend,” you check your watch and laugh,
“she’ll be sleeping for another three hours”
“omo omo omo, how SO, you shouldn’t spend Christmas morning all by yourself, do you wanna?”
he turns back, unsure if he could invite a stranger
before they can answer, you shake your head, “please Seungkwan, I’ll be fine”
you grin at him, and feeling the holiday spirit, you give him a quick hug
“Merry Christmas you guys!” you call before skipping down the halls,
not really thinking much of the hug,
for now
“M-merry Christmas!!” he says after you
“Oh! y/n~” Soonyoung mimics as soon as your out of sight
“stopppppp,” Seungkwan whines, shoving Soonyoung’s arm
“does little Seungkwanie have a crush already?”
“OMG~”
“come someone help me shove the cuties under some mistletoe”
“LALALALALA I DONT” he protests
they chuckle, but leave it at
and it’s time to pass out gifts,
Seungkwan taking them out of his sack, handing them to each of his 7 friends present
then taking the last gift out, he notices a tiny something left
peaking to see if anyone saw, he pretends it wasn’t there stuffs the “empty” sack behind him
until he’s alone in his room and curiously opens the sack
“woah” he finds two chocolate frogs and a note
‘merry christmas seungkwan~ you always give people gifts, you deserve something too, thanks so much for always making history exciting hehe’
there he is sitting on his bed becoming shy with rosy cheeks all by himself
the next day
“VERNON” Seungkwan whisper yells, “what does y/n like?”
“the heck?” he chuckles confused, “why?”
shrugging not so casually, “just because”
“wow the hyungs were just teasing, do you like her?” Vernon’s eyes budge out his sockets
he huffs, “nevermind”
and walks away
while later that night, your walking upstairs
“oh hey y/n! what do you like”
you tilt your head at Vernon’s question
“why?”
“uhhh just a friends asking”
you quickly putting two and two together laugh, “i like chocolate frogs”
the days go quickly and there’s one more day until class starts up again
so you and your friend decide to head to hogsmeade
just as you guys are about to step onto the carriage
“Y/n!”
your head turns to meet a large group of guys,
“can we get in?” Seungkwan asks grinning
nodding of course, you smile
the conversation between the two of you is full of laughter, while Vernon who came along with Seungkwan and your friend made the occasional comments
when they weren’t paying attention, your friend nudges you
“hey do you like Seungkwan?” she whispers
your eyes widen, “no!”
but that question rings through your ears for the rest of the ride
and somehow
“i wanna go to the candy store” Seungkwan says
“ah im gonna go get a butterbeer with the hyungs”
“awe”
your eyes shake between them
and having a wild imagination and being quick witted, you think amused
‘did they plan this?’
“i’ll go” you say speaking up, but then checking with your friend about it
luckily she shrugs and says she has other friends she could meet before leaving
“i never said thanks for the chocolate frogs by the way!”
“oh!” you laugh having pretty much forgot about it, “it’s no problem”
“you know what, i’ll buy you some today!”
you smile in thanks
and feel this unfamiliar feeling in your heart
as he’s talking, your realizing so pretty his smile his
how he makes the best facial expressions,
even him being one or two inches taller than you
and there it is again, that feeling in your chest
as if your heart is about to burst out from it’s safe place
upon entering the shop and without your approval, Seungkwan immediately buys 5 chocolate frogs
walking outside together now,
“here” he hands you chocolate
“cheers” you giggle accepting it then clinking the food together
“OH LOOK!” he points to something in your hand excitingly
“YOU GOT A SPECIAL ADDITION CARD!”
chuckling at his cuteness, you raise your eyebrows, “you collect these then?”
he nods vigorously
“you can have it then”
you take his hand in yours and dramatically set the card there
he gasps and bows he head, “i will protect this with my life”
suddenly you both hear loud shrieks
“WHAT IS THIS??”
all his friends surround you guys, arms over his shoulders
your honestly not really sure what happens then
but you remember saying goodbye and leave, laughing when you hear incoherent shouts
and that’s it sadly
until you stumble into the library with rolls of the parchment in hand with your friend
“OKAY, we must finish our homework tonight!” you say determined
“YES! okay good luck!”
maybe you guys set the goals a little two high
because two hours later your friend is asleep on the table with your about to follow after her
for the first time since in there, you look around
and become shocked when you see Seungkwan holding his hair in fists with two of his older friends next to him
he looks up and happens to make eye contact with you
you smile at him
but he starts to urgently motion you to come towards him while his friends stare
cautiously you walk over and introduce yourself to his friends
“y/n save me!!!”
he grabs your hands holding them tightly
one of his friends tsk, “gentlemen should ask before holding a girl’s hand”
“Jeonghan!” the other friend says in a scolding tone, but amusement seeping through his voice
Seungkwan immediately lets go of your hand and blushes, “it’s not-t-”
“okay Kwannie,” the other friend smiles, a little mischievously in your opinion,
“y/n here, will give you a kiss on the cheek if you finish your work”
for once your not quick to process things
“Joshua,” that Jeonghan guy mocks the Joshua guy’s tone from earlier
catching what they are saying, “i will~”
an very obvious blush on your cheeks
“o-okay!” Seungkwan eyes you for a second but looks away, the red on his cheeks becoming redder
let’s just say his work might have not been accurate, as he ended up making the two of you escape them
dashing out the library
giggling you laugh, “if you hate it that much, i’ll have to help with your homework”
he nods, “please”
your eyes meet seconds too long
but neither of you look away
hearts pounding
and whether you gave him that kiss or not
thats a secret ;)

On an album of bittersweet childrens tunes that she wrote greater than a decade back, the girl who came to get recognized only since the piano teacher offered what, in hindsight, seems like an eerie glimpse of her possess long term.
Im relocating away today to an area so far away, wherever no one is familiar with my title, she wrote inside the lyrics of a track referred to as Transferring.
When she wrote that music, she was youthful and vivacious, a piano Trainer and freelance music writer who cherished Beethoven and jazz, sunsets and river Appears, extended walks and every thing about Big apple.
On a type of beloved walks, as a result of Central Park in the bright sun of a June working day in 1996, a homeless drifter beat her and made an effort to rape her, leaving her clinging to daily life. Following the assault, the words and phrases to her track came true. She moved absent, from Ny city, outside of her aged lifetime, and all but her closest buddies did not know her identify. To the remainder of the earth, she was — such as the extra well known jogger attacked in Central Park seven several years earlier — an nameless symbol of an urban nightmare. She was the piano Trainer.
Now, about the tenth anniversary with the attack, she is celebrating what seems to be her comprehensive recovery from brain trauma. She is 42, married, with a small little one. She is Kyle Kevorkian McCann, the piano Trainer, and he or she wishes to tell her story, her way.

I really feel my existence has long been redefined by Central Park, she explained various days ago, her voice smooth and hopeful. Prior to park; immediately after park. Will there ever be a time Once i dont Consider, Oh, this is the 10th anniversary, the eleventh anniversary?
She spoke in her modest ranch residence within a wooded subdivision inside of a Big apple suburb. She sat inside a eating area strewn with toys, surrounded by images of her cherubic, darkish-haired 2-calendar year-previous daughter. A Steinway grand stuffed half the home, and at a single stage she sat down and performed. Her actively playing was forceful, but she appeared ashamed to Engage in various bars, and shrugged, instead of answering, when asked the title on the piece. She questioned that her daughter and her town not be named.
She phone calls that working day, June 4, 1996, the working day Once i was hurt.

The last sufferer, Evelyn Alvarez, sixty five, was beaten to Demise as she opened her Park Avenue dry-cleaning store, and eventually, the assailant, John J. But it also frightened people in a method the attack about the jogger didn't simply because its instances ended up so mundane.
It didn't happen inside of a distant Element of the park late in the evening, but near a well-liked playground at 3 in the afternoon. It could have took place to any individual. The stress was heightened by the mystery on the piano instructors id.

Hers was the very first inside of a string of attacks by exactly the same man on 4 Females more than 8 days. The last victim, Evelyn Alvarez, 65, was crushed to Loss of life as she opened her Park Avenue dry-cleaning store, and ultimately, the assailant, John J. Royster, was convicted of murder and sentenced to existence in prison.
But the attack over the piano teacher is definitely the just one people today appear to keep in mind by far the most. Portion of the fascination has got to do with echoes in the 1989 attack within the Central Park jogger. But Furthermore, it frightened folks in a method the assault around the jogger didn't simply because its situations ended up so mundane.
It did not happen inside of a distant Component of the park late during the night, but in close proximity to a preferred playground at three inside the afternoon. It might have happened to anyone. The strain was heightened from the thriller with the piano teachers identification.
For three times, as police and Health professionals tried out to find out who she was, she lay in a very coma in her healthcare facility mattress, anonymous. Her mothers and fathers ended up on vacation and her boyfriend, also a musician, was in Europe, on tour. Last but not least, certainly one of her college students identified a law enforcement sketch and was in a position to discover her inside the hospital by her fingers, for the reason that her confront was swollen further than recognition. The law enforcement did not launch her identify.
The very last thing she remembers about June 4, 1996, is offering a lesson in her studio condominium on West 57th Avenue, then putting her extensive hair inside of a ponytail and heading out to get a wander. To me its just like a point I realized and memorized, she claimed. Like I have been a college student in school studying record.
She won't give thought to The person who did it. I might need been angry to get a instant, although not a lot longer than that, she reported. How could I be indignant at John Royster? He was declared not crazy, but I guess by our specifications he was.
Dr. Jamshid Ghajar, her health care provider at The big apple Clinic-Cornell Health-related Center, as it absolutely was acknowledged in 1996, told reporters that she had a 10 per cent potential for survival. Physicians experienced to eliminate her forehead bone, which was later replaced, to generate home for her swelling Mind. When her mother designed a public attract pray for my daughter, hundreds did.
After eight days, she arrived outside of a coma, initial in a vegetative condition, then in a childlike point out. As she recovered, she slept minimal and talked constantly, sometimes in gibberish. I had been obtaining mad at individuals whenever they didnt reply to these words and phrases, she said.
Like an Alzheimers individual, she had little short-expression memory and would forget about people when they left the room.
Over a number of months, she had to relearn the way to walk, costume, study and publish. Her boyfriend, Tony Scherr, visited every day to Enjoy guitar for her. He encouraged her to play the piano, against the recommendation of her Actual physical therapists, who thought she might be disappointed by her incapacity to Engage in the way she after experienced. Mr. Scherr played Beatles duets along with her, playing the still left-hand section whilst she performed the correct.
That was my most effective therapy, she claimed.

She visited aged haunts and called close friends, striving to restore her shattered memory. I used to be very obsessive about remembering, she said. Any memory decline was to me an indication of abnormality or deficit.
Her therapists assumed her development was great, but her two sisters protested that she wasn't the deep thinker she had been.
What bothered her most was that she experienced dropped the ability to cry, as if a faucet inside of her Mind were turned off. A person evening, nine months just after she was hurt, she stayed up late to look at the John Grisham Film A Time for you to Eliminate. Just just after her father had long gone to mattress, she watched a courtroom scene of Samuel Jacksons character on trial for killing two Gentlemen who had raped his youthful daughter.
The faucet opened, and also the tears trickled down her cheeks. I thought about my mothers and fathers, my father, and whatever they went by way of, she explained. Minor by small, my experience returned, my depth of intellect returned.

Urged by her sisters, she went back to high school and acquired a masters diploma in new music schooling.
Not almost everything went well. She and Mr. Scherr split up five years once the assault, however they remain mates. She dated other men, but she often instructed them about the assault instantly -- she couldn't help it, she mentioned -- plus they never ever referred to as to get a next day.
We've to search out you an individual, her Good friend David Phelps, a guitar player, stated four yrs back, before introducing her to Liam McCann, a pc technician and newbie drummer. Regaining a chance to play the piano might entail an Practically mechanical procedure, a semiautomatic recall of exactly what the fingers have to do, mentioned Dr. Yehuda Ben-Yishay, a professor of scientific rehabilitation medicine at Ny College School of Drugs. The moment Mind-wounded, you're generally brain-wounded, For the remainder of your daily life, Dr. Ben-Yishay said. There is not any cure, There may be only intensive payment.
The more telling Portion of a Restoration, in his perspective, is psychological, and on that rating he counts Ms. Kevorkian McCanns marriage and youngster as a substantial victory.

i have seen it a lot on your twitter and it got me curious you tweet many about venezuela but i dont get anything, what its happening there?
Basically, the country’s been in a social and economic repression from the government for some few decades and lately its turned into a real shitshow. The country has something of a “media block” so no one can really talk about it except for on social media where the government doesn’t really have much of a say on what goes on it. Currently, the big guy in charge is Maduro and he’s basically your modern equivalent of a Nazi.
Grocery stores look like an apocalypse happened. Shelves are basically empty like someone bought out the place but there was probably never anything there in the first place Lines for what would equate to like half a loaf of bread here (I assume you’re from the states as well if not I apologise) will be long as fuck like 2+ hours. Also, hospitals are absolutely rancid. Health hazards, there’s barely any medicine and what’s there expensive as fuck.  TLDR; there’s basically no food/medicine and what is there is hard to get/come by
Then in what I’ve assumed to have started within the recent months. The protests. Basically, the people of Venezuela are reasonably fed up with what’s happening in their home. The GNB (I forget what this stands for but it’s basically the government’s private army/defence force) use unnecessary amounts of violence against them.
They’ve run over people/protestors with their tanks. They mostly throw tear gas at them even in public places with a lot of people like recently at a mall. Like they even used it on a group that was specifically old people like someone’s grandparents old and schools full of young children. Obviously, people are dying. Then chavistas (people who support the government and their use of violence against the protestors) have the audacity to call the protestors terrorists.
Also recently I’ve seen some videos/pictures that show they’re actually torturing the people they arrest (for opposing the government) which further instils that Maduro’s a damn Nazi. There’s actually a video of him dancing on tv while his people are outside dying and the like.
All in all, I know the bare bones of the whole thing. If you really want to help, there’s some charities and stuff taking donations. However, if you don’t have any money to be giving yourself, it’s okay the best thing you can do is spread the word. Like I said they don’t have much to talk about the situation outside of social media. It helps a lot more than you think it does and it gets the news to people in other countries. For example one of the news channels here recently talked about it briefly and like I said I live in the states so that means a god damn lot. So trust me it means a lot to just simply share a post on the internet.
Honestly I wish I could show you actual pictures and videos but thats difficult as all on twitter to find since theres no actual tagging system.
Also if you want to know anything from someone with an inside point of view, you can ask my buddy, Val. She’s a Venezuelan and the one I retweet all my stuff from or get info from. She’s usually the one translating the posts I share on Twitter and sometimes here too. She can give you stuff you can donate too or simply just more info. @alice-harley-quinn thats her and her twitter is @alice-quinn-mad
