I support everyone’s right to read whatever nasty smut they want, but I see some of these dark romance books that get popular and I can’t help but pass severe judgement on them. Not because they’re “too dark” or “all smut and no plot” but because they’re either so poorly written you’d think ChatGP was the author or they fail to commit to the bit of their purported genre.
